Tuckaway shores is fantastic! My husband and I spent 4 days there. Very nice quiet and clean. Mr Robert was very helpful and very pleasant. We enjoyed our stay and will return sometime in the spring. Also the beach is within walking distance. Tuckaway shores had everything we needed.

The folks that operate Tuckaway pay atttention to details! The sliding glass doors on the 2nd 3rd floors open open up the space to put you on the beachfront. Very happy for this very comfortable beachfront unit that had everything we wanted! Not new or upscale or fancy, but older, well kept, bright and tasteful.

Unit was very nicely updated with amazing views of the beach and waves, kitchen was well stocked for making meals, bed was comfortable. Only complaint we had was the door to the deck was very hard to open (doorknob was tricky).

This place is phenomenal for families with small children. We spent 4 nights and cooked majority of those nights. I brought some kitchen utensils and I honestly didn't need any of them. There were some things that I went out and bought out of personal preference like paper towels and soap, but that is me being picky. We stayed on the third floor, and while I loved the window that opened, it would have been nice to have a balcony, but I know those rooms are smaller. Staff was wonderful and accommodating and I was able to do laundry one day. I will definitely be coming back.

My family and I love Tuckaway Shores. My parents and I discovered it in 1989 when it was still Sharrock Shores and have continued staying since, usually as a chance to relax after Disney. All the staff has always been super friendly and helpful, the rooms always clean, property always well kept. It is an older building but has been kept up nicely and regularly updated. Rooms have a full fridge, stove top (no oven, just as an FYI), microwave, kitchen sink, and basic dishes. It's always felt like a home away from home for us.

Great!!
We were more than thankful we pick this place. It was perfect! The room was adorable and practical. A working kitchen, comfy bed. Perfect view of the beach. They even gave us chairs and an umbrella to have on the beach. No extra charge! Their location is perfect. Away from the big high rises makes it quiet and the best place around. And their pool was really heated making it perfect for a swim! I will definitely come again.

Wish i had asked more questions-researched better
Location is beautiful- concerning when no masks wore inside office on arrival and no notice that room sanitized so I did myself. Loved having condo with kitchen but extremely disappointed that no balcony or screen on sliders. I live in Fl ocean town and wanted the sound of waves and fresh air- was impossible as if opened doors then all the bugs came in (no fly swatter) Only stayed 2 days if longer would've left. Pool was nice but chairs old and saggy so hurts back. We had 3rd floor room with twin beds- uncomfortable hard beds. 2nd floor and 1st had patios but none available.Room nicely decorated. If you go be sure to stay on 1 or 2. Also no elevator. Beach very nice and in quiet neighborhood so not crowded-very nice.

Good small boutique hotel for family
Excellent hotel boutique, small and good for families with excellent location located at the beach,extremely clean & comfortable . The office was closed when we arrived and they make sure everything were perfect with keys location etc . supermarket ,shops,restaurants bars are within small distance. Would definetely recommend this hotel to everybody! It's a true sample of excellent hospitality. Thank you.

Simply WOW!
This location was absolutely amazing!! I loved the 'small town' feel, along with the amazing support of staff. We got in after office hours, but they made sure to accommodate us, helped to find us some local things we wanted to find. I will DEFINITELY be returning in the future!!!

Tuckaway Shores Resort is in a great location & a very quaint property. The bed & pillows were comfy, the sofa & chair had obviously been vacuumed. The fridge was very convenient. Pam was very welcoming & accommodating upon check in. It was good for the soul to wake up & sit on the porch, watch the sun rise & listen to the waves crash on the shore.

Our stay at Tuckaway shores was just wonderful. They have literally thought of everything and provided a well stocked small suite with a kitchenette and balcony. The parking was easy, the swimming pool was wonderful, towels were replenished as needed, and access to the beach was very easy. Our own only real complaint is that the bed was a little soft; I think it’s time to read

Not a great check in but would stay again.
When we arrived we were informed that the room (ground floor beach access) we booked was not available due to a flood in the room next door. We were put in a second floor room for that night and then moved the next day. We paid for the ground floor room but only got to enjoy it for one out of two nights. The second room we stayed in was wonderful and would definitely stay here again. The beach is great and we loved walking out of the room to the beach.

Great location right on the water. Full size fridge and adequate cooking supplies let us have in-room breakfast and lunch. Very convenient. Publix grocery store just a mile away. They even give you beach umbrella, chairs, and towels. Very nice pool as well. Property is well maintained and managed. A

The rooms were perfect. A bedroom and living room on either side was a nicer touch than we expected, though it's weird that the bed is near the main entrance to the room and the living area was at the back. It doesn't allow for easy going in & out while somebody is trying to sleep.
The full kitchen with full-size refrigerator was especially nice. And the pool was spectacularly clean.

This is a nice option for a large hotel in a more remote and private area. The beach was right there, just a few second's walk from the property. The property itself is older but well maintained. The pool was clean and centrally located. There was a kitchen with amenities to make small meals in the unit.

Tuckaway Shores Resort is a gem on the beach. Quiet, clean, quaint with a friendly, helpful staff. Beach chairs in each room and beach towels and umbrellas available daily from the front office. The on-site pool is an added bonus. Located within driving distance of many dining options on the island. We will be visiting again.

I liked being right on the beach. I liked the living room and varanda set up. The living room has a very comfortable sofa and the windows looking out to the ocean are big and clean so the view is wonderful. (You can't open the windows, though) The chairs on the varanda are tall and comfortable and welcome you. The varandas on the 2nd floor are a good size.
I didn't like the airconditioner system which is out of date and worked 2 of the 3 days I was there. You also can't adjust the system too low or the whole system goes off. I didn't like that there were only 2 burners on the stove and one wasn't working. So I had to cook all my meals using only one burner (the smallest one :( since there's no oven).

Pool water was way too warm. Condo too warm. Would not allow temp to be turned down past 72. On check out day i had free check out until 1. But at 1245 manager was arguing with me about it. We were trying to get everything to the car. Had just sat down for a minute. He was very rude.

Very spacious for the price. The only down fall was dredging was happening on the beach which made for an eye sore. Also only 1 parking space available for us. There was no way to only have 1 car as we traveled from different destinations. BUT overall, we loved it!

Cleanest Place Ever with Gorgeous Beach
This property, not just my suite but entire property was the cleanest I’ve ever seen ( and I’m real OCD about clean). People at desk were soooo nice and helpful. The beach is gorgeous and I had a balcony where I could enjoy coffee in am and wine at night. Quiet place with comfortable bed and small kitchen. PERFECT.......I would definitely stay again longer ( only stayed 5 days) and highly recommend.

Tuckaway was very well kept. Right on the beach and close to restaurants and shopping. Four of us stayed in the one bedroom. It was a little tight but we made it work due to the location. I highly recommend Tuckaway if you are considering.

Amazing and in love
Amazing little get away. We were celebrating our 5 year anniversary. We got to the room they had a card with champagne and glasses. The room was beautiful. Staff was super helpful the whole stay. Will definitely be staying again. Makes me want to go on vacation every weekend and stay here.

lovely place right on the ocean. brilliant for sunrises. I wanted a quiet retreat, and for the most part, that's what I got. I appreciated having the kitchenette and fridge, as well as a work space. the wifi was occasionally spotty. it was easy to steer clear of common areas and other guests in this time of COVID. the hotel did a good job making me feel safe. I appreciated the ability to request items I needed, rather than automatically getting everything replenished - I always find that wasteful.

Lovely hotel in a quaint setting!
Great little motel right on the beach! We had a great large suite with partial ocean view which was a very good view of the ocean from the living room. The bed was super comfortable and the room was very clean. My only negative comment would be the musty odor in the room which may be due to the humidity.
