Anytime I travel to Panama City Beach, I stay here. It's quiet and close to many places for shopping & dining. Check-in ia always a breeze and the staff is always nice.

The most disappointed I’ve been with a La Quinta
We stayed at this hotel as a treat to ourselves since we had been staying in a Airbnb previously that week. We should’ve stayed at the Airbnb. The service here was awful.
I needed to do an early check in and attempted to call the hotel to ask if this was okay. No one answered the phone. Since no one answered the phone, I arrived in person. There was no one at the front desk and an employee that happened to be around told me to come back in an hour. When I finally got into the room, there was 1 hand towel, a mini bottle of lotion and 1 mini shampoo for 2 people for 3 days. I had to go to the front desk and ask multiple times for towels. Also, I discovered later that night there was no hair dryer provided and for reasons unknown they couldn’t provide my room one.
The front desk was noticeably unfriendly and never said hello, goodbye or asked me about my stay. It frankly felt like I was bothering them by asking for the basic amenities that come with a hotel room. My key card was even deactivated about an hour before check out without an explanation. We checked out on time but the cards no longer working made taking bags to the car annoying.
The room itself was fine. There was a substantial crack in the sink that made it leak but the jacuzzi tub was very nice.

This property is a mile away from the beach which is fine. They get a significant amount of construction workers. Those workers are quite. All staff is really good and friendly. Breakfast is basic, but includes eggs and meat.
We enjoy the location because it's an easy drive to the beach and to a local conservation park where we walk.

Best ever
I surprised my husband with the suite that had the Jacuzzi in it and omg it was amazing. The girl at the front desk was amazing and very friendly. And the breakfast was delicious. The bacon was perfect and the pineapple juice was good it tasted like they just squeezed it fresh . We will be back . I have my birthday coming up in January I will be coming back. It's worth the pay . Thank you to the staff at the hotel for doing y'all jobs .

Not hot water - warm at best
The room was fine- a little dated and kind of dirty if you looked to hard but for $50 a night I was fine with all of that until I took a shower… the water was like warm at best, not hot at all- I would not stay here again for that reason alone

It’s been a long while since I got somewhere that was THIS bad. The bathroom and corners were literally rusted and growing mold, I spilled water and went to wipe it from the floor and the white towel came back almost black. I then took the towel and tried to clean the disgusting floor. We had two towels for three people as well as almost no toilet paper. Also, upon leaving, a deaf man with a service animal was asked to remove his dog from the dining area! What?!? When the family asked for the name of the employee, they refused to give it. I literally will never come back here or any other La Quinta for that matter.

We stay here often for when we're in the area for travel ball tournaments. Wished they would start their breakfast at 630 though bc we always have the 8am game and have to be at the fields at 7- and their breakfast is good!!

I have stayed here multiple times within the last couple years. Hotel is clean overall and not overly priced. Comfortable beds. On this visit, shower would not get hot, deterioration showing in bathroom and breakfast staff not very friendly.

Absolutely horrible hotel. There is mold all in the mattresses, they do not clean worth a crap, and it smells awful the moment you walk in. Assistant general manager is incredibly rude and the actual manager is incredibly hard to get in contact with. I recommend checking your mattress before setting anything down in the room. There was dust in every surface in our room, hair literally all over the floor, and dirty spots on bathroom counter of where there literally never cleaned. Completely and utterly disgusted with every ounce of this hotel. Took multiple days, and the runaround from every employee before we ever got our refund. Would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

A Scary Night at the LaQuinta
It's very scary when you have someone trying to come into your room in the middle of the night due to a scheduling error at the front desk and all you get is we're sorry. Thank goodness for the metal lock or they would have been inside our room.
That will be my last stay at a LaQuinta

A nice hotel
Hotel was clean but a bit worn, our bathroom needed new grout and had rust. The bathroom has eco Fri lighting that kept turning on all night so we had to keep the door shut. Bed was comfortable and hotel was quiet- would definitely stay again

The quality of the hotel has drastically fallen in the past year since we last came. We had a late check-in and were finally given a room after waiting around 15-20 minutes. The door to the room stuck so we had to yank the door open, the bathroom was full of rust and mildew, and only had 2 towels for 4 people. Thankfully the front desk gave us a couple more.

The staff Terriann was so incredibly nice and helpful. She gave me ideas on what to do while I’ll was visiting Florida. The hotel was clean and the free breakfast bar was nice. I would definitely stay there again.

Families be hesitant.
I was nervous, as we were walking toward our room, as there was a strong odor of cannabis and cigarette smoke. The teenage guests in the lobby were making a scene and had a case of beer. The single staffed hotel attendant had warned me that our room description to sleep 5, was not accurate. Our family of 5 would sleep on 2 double (not queen) beds. This wasn’t her problem bc we booked through Expedia who is incompetent with descriptors often.
Entering the room felt worse than anticipated. Pulled the sheets to inspect. I found signs of bed bugs, bodily fluids and urine stains on the mattresses and comforters. The bathroom floor and shower was rusted and moldy in spots. Just at quick glance I spotted two hairs.
I tried talking myself into “one night you can do anything” but I couldn’t. our family left. I notified the single employee that we didn’t feel safe there and why. we would be leaving and we’d like a refund. LaQuinta refused after several attempts from Expedia CS.
I’ll never book a Laquita again.

Could not have had a better stay
Everything at this hotel was clean. All the employees stopped whatever they were doing when we walked by to make sure we had everything we needed. Even with two charter buses full of people checked in at the same time our whole stay was quiet and peaceful.

They should tell you at check in only towels& room cleaned at request or you won't get new towels daily. I called at 12:30pm because we needed new towels and c toilet paper, has to final go get toilet paper at 5 and call back for CC towels at 730. Not cool.

From the time we setp in the front desk til we check out was bad , the front desk lady was rud with low skills of customer service the room smells like mold the Ac unit dripping a lot water the phone inside the room doesn't work so I don't recommend this place to anybody. The worst hotel i ever had the air quality inside the room is not good mold , mold and mold the vent need to be service and clean ,no manager available so we stay 2 days and we run away to another good one , so management need to close this place until the air quality is completely fixed .

Our stay here was lovely. We didn’t spend a lot of time at the hotel but when we did, we were very comfortable. The room stayed nice and cool, the bedding was comfortable. I can’t really find anything bad to say about the hotel which is a good thing so. It’s in a perfect spot for those who want to visit Pier Park, which we did a few times during our stay. I would definitely stay here again.

Upon check in I was informed that there was a $45 non refundable FEE for being under the age of 25. In this area it is not uncommon for there to be extra deposits or age restrictions but I have never heard of a fee being imposed simply due to age. The front desk agent, tory ann, became very aggressive when i questioned it. This fee was not disclosed to me on expedias page or on the hotels official website. The carpet was damp the whole stay and the shower pressure was awful. I tried to speak to a manager and was informed she was not there and they had no idea when she would be back. Upon check out I was refused a printed receipt from the hotel and was informed i could get the receipt from expedia. Every hotel i’ve ever been to provides a printed statement for room charges ect upon check out. location was good but that’s about the only positive thing.

very poor service and The room rate was $159 per nite . we stayed three days and two nites- no housekeeping for entire time!. we asked for towels couple of times and only one was provided.
TV was blurry ( have pics to prove) , room phone was not working to get in touch for housekeeping and internet was so slow !!! Horrible experience- NOT recommended !!!

Enjoyable Stay
I read the bad reviews, but decided to book anyway. I’m glad I did. I’ll give you that its a little run down, but I believe the price reflects that. The room was clean, the bed was super comfortable it has a nice pool and it’s just a few minutes drive from the beach. Definitely worth the price.

The staff was friendly and check in was easy. The breakfast was ok. I never got bacon, but that's because of the other customers taking a PILE.
The area directly around the hotel has nothing walkable. The parkway that it's on is busy and we saw several accidents while we were there.
It's a short drive to Pier Park and the beaches. You really need a car in PCB.
Something is not quite right with the air-conditioning. It cools, but doesn't take the moisture out of the room, so everything felt damp.
Overall, I had a good stay here.

One night stay
Staff was friendly and check in was quick. But we got to the room and it was dirty it hadn't been cleaned from previous guest. I called the front desk and they sent 2 people right away to clean it. The room was nice and since we were going back out after dropping our stuff off I told them that they could go ahead a clean it while we were gone instead of moving up. We started out an the 2 ladies that were going to clean it met up as we were heading out the both apologized for this happening and were very positive. When we came back you could smell the cleaning supplies that they used and the room was clean.
Even though it started out on a bad note it was rectified quickly.
The room was quite large tv was big but for the distance from the bed to where it was sitting it wasn't big enough but that's just a minor thing we didn't stay for the tv lol. For breakfast they had 3 types of juice and coffee but I don't drink coffee. Scrambled eggs boiled, eggs, baccon muffins rasin bread , must have had bagels but they were out. 2 types of cereal,waffel makers werent working very well but they did have it available and yogurt. So the breakfast was ok about what you'd expect.
Overall a pleasant stay even though the room wasn't clean when we got here they did apologize and I told them to clean it before she had a chance to offer to move us. It was a one bedroom instead of just a one room as we usually get.

Front desk lady that I had to speak to was extremely rude, bathroom wall around tub was destroyed. Linens felt dirty in room, asked for the lady to call if room was ready early and it was but she never called. Was rude both times I had to speak to her. Would not recommend this place.

Everything was excellent. You asked around the property which does not belong to La Quinta. The fenced area where the woods are hotel guest throw their trash over the fence which you can’t control would be my only bad remark. But your staff especially Andre was excellent to my party. Thank you

The hotel is overall clean and fairly new maybe a decade. Rooms are a good size and have microwave and mini fridge. The location is great . It is very close to the beach about a 5 minute drive. ( a few blocks away) free parking at hotel parking a lot. Breakfast was simply ok. Just the basics but there are plenty restaurants around. The only thing we didn’t like was our room wasn’t serviced for two days and we had to take out our own trash and track someone down to get fresh towels. Called the front desk and they told us they would send someone but it took over an hour to come. Definitely think they need to hire more people to get rooms ready and cleaned for check in time.

I was in town for a few days for business, while the price was good for my stay, my room was less than satisfactory. There were broken pieces in the bathroom, visible rust on just about anything metal, and the couch in the room was stained badly. The check in staff was undermanned making check in take a very long time. Overall, I would spend more for a nicer place next time.
