Never Again
The mini refrigerator didn't work so I couldn't keep my drinks and food cold. The AC kept turning on and off all night. There wasn't a complete sheet set on the bed just 2 flat sheets. The worst part about it was I was bitten by a bed bug

It was basic, no freals, quiet, but ours was a quick stay just overnight. Rooms were clean and AC was cold. No stale room smell. Would come back for similar stay.

Rather cancel trip than go back to this hotel
The room was clean but everything was runned down. The shower head didn’t have a head… it was just a covered tip of pipe. Flushing the toilet was scary cause it looked like it would overflow at any second. The room smelled of stale humidity. The towels were rough, dingy and full of stains. I ended up going out and purchasing a towel to use. I sat on the chair and almost fell thru it.
I come to this area several times a year and I’ve stayed in other hotels in this area with much better results but had to take this room because everything else was booked up. In the future if I could only get this hotel, I’d unfortunately cancel my trip.

When we arrived the customer service was good. The room was clean and had a musty odor. Place needs to be updated and renovated. Last day there we saw a roach on the wall. Don’t think we’ll be staying there again.

Believe the ratings !
So this was a last minute booking due to work schedule changing. Now pictures fabricated a lot. Looked a tad decent. I could’ve been fine since it was just overnight.
First room we were in; water didn’t drain in the sink or the tub. And the a/c didn’t work. It was hot. Second room much cleaner and a/c worked. Maybe they need to do walk thrus a little more often. Bed was low to the ground. Cushion not all that. I’m shocked the rating is better than the oyo.
The red roof and quality inn I normally book were full. So. I’d rather not ever settle again. But these ratings aren’t a lie.

Room was a little dirty, but otherwise everything was as good as you could expect for the price and the area. Very comfortable bed, A/C worked really well, and the staff was very nice and helpful.

Run down and reeked of smoke..
There aren’t a lot of reasonably priced options in Sumter so I stayed here hoping for the best. The first “non smoking room” I was put in REEKED of smoke. The second one wasn’t much better. Old linens with holes in them, old comforter, stale smelling room, sketchy people hanging out in the parking lot. It wasn’t a pleasant experience. I travel a lot and I’m pretty good about finding decent hotels at a fair price. This hotel was one of the worst I’ve stayed in. It’s needs an update and some fumigation. Stay elsewhere!!

I booked to pay at time of checking they took Monet before checking time. Room was nasty no thing was clean to . Refuse to refund charge for me to pay cash . I had to find another hotel. Stay far away

Home away from home.
Im a traveling nurse aide and i enjoyed staying at Rodeway inn it was quite i would recommend this place to anyone if they love sleep.

the staff was super friendly and we liked booking short notice with a pet but the non smoking rooms still smelled like smoke. and their were roaches we found when we woke up our last day

The room quality and cleanliness was not great, the fridge wasnt cold enough to put anything in there, i didnt even bother to try out the microwave, the sink was clogged, but the worst was that the shower didnt work when i went to take a shower. Not one drop of water came out. I had to wait the next day for maintenance to come fix it.

The property is far away from 95N but it’s cheap and we didn’t have a choice because we were traveling with kids and needed a room to stay for one night. All better places in the area were sold out.
The room was ok in size but bathroom wasn’t clean, towels were dirty and the bed was the most uncomfortable thing I had EVER slept on. Just be prepared to be disappointed but I guess we should have expected it considering last minute availability and cheap price.

Keys didn’t work to the room. Then got put in a room that hadn’t been kept up or cleaned. Ants in the bathroom and bed. Bed wasn’t made and over all ended up leaving. Not recommended

We will not be staying here again. There were bugs in the bed, tub, and sink. There wasn't a cover on the mattress, the sheets and pillow cases were stained and in horrible condition. It's also located in a loud area, there was a lot of loud music and noise every night until about 2 in the morning. The staff was warm and welcoming, but the quality of the room just wasn't that great.

Good location and a great price for us to sleep and keep moving on. The check in was super fast and the desk agent was very friendly. Gave us a bigger bed and a convenient room.

Disappointing
I arrived at the motel and the front desk clerk was polite. The place looked a little seedy to me. After getting my room keys and taking my things in my key card stopped working. The clerk tried to reset my card but it didn't work. Even her master card didn't work. She had to get the manual key. Then stated people try to Jimmy the locks (!) Needless to say I was afraid to stay there. She did say if I wanted to I could get a new room but I was too tired from driving all day. The bed was very uncomfortable. The room smelled like smoke. The sheets were stained I'm just glad to be out if there.

No thrill place
No thrills place to stay. No real breakfast very minimum offerings. No shampoo in the room and little bars of soap. Carpet could use a good cleaning, made the bottom of my feet black.

With a little help hotel could be a 1-star
I want to stress that the staff was very friendly and accommodating during the entire visit and that is the reason for the slight increase in rating. This hotel is old, in disrepair and dirty. It would be a stretch to give this hotel 1-star. The mattresses are old and judging by the stickers on them have not been flipped or cared for since the first of the year. The sheets had yellow stains and dirt on them, the comforter had burn holes in it and smelled heavily of smoke. The towels were child size and dingy with visible staining.
Overall the hotel is run down and filthy and I would not recommend it to anyone. I have one strong suggestion. Redecorate the rooms - For less than $1000 per room you could turn this place around.
Breakfast was coffee, waffles and cereal but no real room to enjoy it. The hotel has parking and a pool but the pool was closed during my stay. I wish I could find something redeeming about this location but it is just not worth more than $25 per night and I would never stay again. Coffee cups written on with sharpie, tv screwed to the desk, iron never cleaned bathroom dirty, mildew on the shower curtain. The list goes on.

the Inn
we were relieved to find our hotel still intact, with little threat from Hurricane Irma. it is a pleasant hotel with friendly staff, and a reasonable breakfast. we asked for a ground floor room, and were given the one on the end. unfortunately the joke was onus, as it was built up on a berm, about 6 feet above parking lot level. we coped.

Think again
The rooms need upgrades...smelled very stale and smoky. Had to put a hold on my credit card just to get a room with a flat screen TV that was only 32in and a name brand I've never heard of!

This hotel was filthy.
The sheets had many holes, the comforter was disgusting with rips one about 2 feet long and red blood on the under side. The pillows were gray with stains. The tub was filthy and rust stained.

DO NOT BOOK
It's not even a hotel, its a motel and a hang out spot for local young children that sit there and blast music all night and yell and make all this noise. Last time I was there, there was about 150 young men and women out side at 2-3 am in the morning blasting offensive music and yelling out profanity. I felt so uncomfortable I moved to a room in the front of the hotel where there was much more light. Security should be provided at this location, its a shame how a hotel allows teenagers and young adults to just take over their establishment.
