It’s definitely a great place but you have to make a choice about the room doors that people allow to slam when leaving their room or going into their room.
It’s very loud and hard and if you’re trying to sleep or nap the doors will bother you but it’s New York the city that never sleeps.
Other than that enjoy your time and book a room !

Bad hotel in good location
Only good thing is location. #１problem is the room never got about 65 Fahrenheit despite setting thermostat and the heat blowing all night. Also odd: the room had no trash can! Also no coffee maker or even coffee in the lobby and no do-no-disturb sign so housekeeping had to knock early - these are simple things any normal hotel has. My room was much more drab than the photos make them seem.

This hotel is in a perfect location of good food, Central Park, close to Broadway and more. Decent hotel, nothing to right home about but has what you need for a short stay. Delicious little bagel shop close by. The sushi spot that is attached to the hotel was amazing. Would definitely stay again

Housekeeping missed our room one day, and I called the front desk at 4 pm to request housekeeping to clean the room. When I arrived back at the room at 9:45 that night, the room had still not been cleaned.

How about sealing around the light on the shower wall so nobody dies when water hits it? Might be a good idea...
King Deluxe is far from deluxe. The nice pic on the website overlooking the entrance to central park is not reality...
Front desk was great.
Rooms smaller than expected.
The fuzzy wallpaper has to go. Its not 1974, nor a brothel.
Bring your own lighting. Hallways are dim, probably to hide something, rooms not much better.
Location to subway was excellent. Many conveniences nearby too.
Overall, will stay somewhere else next time.

Lovely Place
The room was comfortable and the shower pressure was wonderful, the only thing that kinda distracting was the amount of liquor and drinks that they are selling in the room, it took so much space of the mini bar fridge. Overall , it is a lovely place to stay in the city since it’s close to Columbus circle mall and Central Park , Lincoln Square ..

I was charged for two mini bar items that I did not use. The staff is quite unresponsive in getting this resolved.
The shower curtain was too short and the water pressure was very high, making a mess on the bathroom floor.
Our sink drain stopper was broken.
The photos on the website were very misleading

The staff was friendly. The size of the accommodation was a bit smaller than how it looked in the photo. However things tend to be smaller than expected in Manhattan as the rule versus the exception. Proximity to everything - including Central Park was stellar.

Location was super for our plan in NY this year, right in between Metropolitan Opera and Bryant Park. Interior is stylish and clean. Broad Nosh Bagels for breakfast is next door!

Christmas Treat!
We had a very positive experience at 6 Columbus Park Hotel. We drove in to stay over on December 23rd and they were very accommodating. We were able to check-in early and even got a room upgrade. We stayed in Sixty Loft which has a view of Central Park and plenty of space for a family of 4. Every member of the staff was pleasant and quick to respond to our needs. I would stay here again if we ever visit the city and stay overnight.

Comfortable but overpriced.
Room itself was very comfortable, clean, excellent house keeping, and good thermostat. You really need to provide laundry bags and the hallway needs sound proofing because it is very loud when people are talking and opening / closing doors. the price was ridiculous though - I needed to stay close to Columbus circle and while this hotel is nice it’s definitely not worth the $600 average a night you were charging, esp as my room faced the back and was dark and looked right into peoples apartments so i couldn’t have my curtains open.

Good value for location
Conveniently located for anyone wanting to enjoy Central Park and be near the bustle of Midtown while avoiding the crowds. Nearby (separate) parking lot made this extremely easy to drive into the city. Bed was extremely uncomfortable, but room was otherwise nice.

The first room we we given the heat did not work, we called down at 530 to learn them know they said they’d send a technician up to look, but 730 no one had arrived so we called again and asked for blankets. It was after calling the second Tim me where we finally had a someone come and look at the heat. Then by 830 the heat still wasn’t working so we had to call down and get our room switched. It was just very frustrating.

Just checked out of my stay here and I will definitely be back! I had a single room with a large bed. Was I going crazy, or was the floor of the bathroom heated? Room came with a mini bar, tv and I thought the closet/drawer space was enough for one person (I only stayed two nights). You are directly across from
The Columbus Circle subway stop which provides easy access to where I wanted to go all weekend and It was only about a half hour from LaGuardia Airport.

Would not stay in this hotel again
I would not stay in this hotel again. To start, the pictures online are not a fair description of the actual hotel rooms. The room (a king suite) is really basic and furnished with antiquated furniture. The room (and hotel in general) had very poor lighting. Also, the tub did not drain properly, and water consistently backed up. The bathroom smelled of pot the entire time, mainly because there was no proper ventilation to the outside.
But more importantly, the service was terrible!! From the moment my family and i got there, the front desk was not-egaged and unresponsive to our requests. They also provided us with two non working "pack and plays" without bedding. When i complained to the front desk about the many wrong things in the room, the person indicated that we should find another hotel (Mind you this was at 11pm at night on a sunday). This is just not the way you treat guests, especially guests that include a 1 and 4 year old.
It's a real shame because we had a great time in NYC, and going to this hotel really put a damper to our experience.

The location was great, but the hotel is very dark and depressing. The pictures on their website did not in any way match the reality. The staff were lovely, though. And the sushi restaurant in the hotel is good too. But the accomodations were really lacking. If you want a top sheet for your bed, you have to request it! Gross.

The front desk was rude,we asked to stay for another hour for check out because of health situation,he did not let us and he came to our door because we were late 10 min which is unacceptable,there were no carpets on the floor and it s a huge difference between Expedia pics and room they gave us,the Walls very tiny no sound isolation you could hear anyone walking by door,when they do room service next door you are already distributed,you can't even get enough rest,beds are very uncomfortable, I really don't like giving negative feedbacks but it was too much,don't be impressed by the pics they posted you will be disappointed they don't match reality at all

The room (Queen) was spacious enough and very clean. Furnishings were well kept and useful. The location is excellent (very close to Central Park and across the street from a great Subway station). Staff were friendly and responsive. Couldn't have asked for a better stay! Thank you!

I booked through Hotel. com and got a very dark room with one small window. Even on sunny day with all the lights on it was dark. My family members who also stayed there and booked directly with hotel had well lit rooms.

Didn't mind the old/tired look of the property, or the dimmly lit public areas, but we did mind the water leak in the room (next our bed) that woke us up in the middle of the night. Night manager was nice and promptly moved us to another room so we were able to get some sleep. Would choose a different property in the area next time.

Very little lights in lobby, elevator, bathroom, dining room. Burned out lights in shower, terrible mattress, no chair, no closet space. Not worth the money they are charging. The location is excellent, but it is a $250.00 room a night. The restaurant is excellent and the food is delicious. Never, never again. It was all about convenience to Jazz at Lincoln Center.

While service & location were great no question. However there were many rats running in front of the hotel on the street at all times specially at night. This may not be due to hotel’s fault. It speaks of a larger problem of the trash being piled up in front on the two business on either side of the hotel entrance. A coordinated effort is needed to solve this problem. Nice area of Manhattan, friendly staff is great but the image as you stand outside is going to hurt business.

every floor has two rooms that’s facing inner side. we get one at the beginning. the wind noise is extremely high frequency and it’s like policy cars belling all night.
i switched to outside-facing room and it is all good.
make sure to take a look at the room before signing if possible. I am not sure if they fully respect the prices differences. it feels like first come first serve

This property is not even conducive to living in 2024 here is no USB cable in the rooms. They don’t offer umbrellas to hundred percent of the people. My partner needed a comforter to sleep in them said they had no extra comforters and she was given two additional sheets for the bed. The manager knows nothing about service and was in fact discourteous. There are many many hotels in the area and as a former New Yorker, I knew better than to stay here, but my daughter was staying the same hotel for business.

I had me stay in this hotel in the month of Sep. I had a very bad experience. I reserved a King Safire room for 2 adults. Room looked reasonable in pictures but when we checked in we found out that it is 2 squeezed. There was no place at all to walk around in the room. Just one bed had occupied the whole room. No chairs or sofa yo relax. The TV screen, lamps and the lamps were not properly dusted. No proper amenities in the rest room.
It doesn’t at all worth the price we paid for just one night stay. I stayed at number of places at good restaurants but my stay was never that uncomfortable.

Rooms are vastly smaller than appear in pictures. We expected bathtub - got shower. We had NO TOWELS in the room - didn't realize until coming out of shower. Room temp options were either MEAT LOCKER cold - or boiling hot. In the AM shower was set to full-hot - and was barely warm. We will never go again.

Good staff but bad hotel
The air conditioning didn't work the first night and wasn't fixed until well after we wanted to be asleep the second night.
In addition, the valet parking charged an additional $70 every time we needed our car.
The room also didn't come with a coffee maker, and when we asked for one it couldn't be plugged in anywhere except one nightstand.

I was in room 22. No hot water both days. Walls are paper thin and just generally run down. Bathroom looked nice though. Room service in the morning was 30 minutes late. Air conditioning did not work. My colleague in another room had hot water one day and none the next. Her AC worked.

Convenient hotel
This hotel has an excellent location near a subway stop, close to Central Park, Lincoln Center and not far from Rockefeller Center. It’s next to a delicious bagel shop and a couple parking garages which we used. It’s a small hotel, which we appreciated. The room was small but nothing atypical from most NYC hotel rooms, it was totally manageable for two of us. It was clean and had everything we needed. My only complaint is in room 69, the window air conditioning unit is a menace…and we didn’t even need to use it. The wind blowing outside caused it so sound like a vacuum cleaner moving between low and high power, with some whistling noises added, and the rain drops falling on it sounded like constant loud popping popcorn. We thought we could sleep through it but we were miserable. I should have asked to change rooms but at 3am you don’t feel like packing up and asking if there’s anything else available. We ended up turning on the AC to try to block out the noise which helped a little, but we were freezing because it was cold out. Other than the awful night sleep because of the AC we had a great experience here.

Came to Manhattan for my partners birthday. Decided to reserve a fantastic room with a beautifully equipped terrace with a view out to Columbus Circle at Central Park. Needless to say we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The linens were pressed and luxurious. The bathroom was nicely equipped with a large tub and aromatic shower accessories. We actually brought the shower gel home. If a hotel wanted a signature scent that should be it.
We ordered a perfectly serviced breakfast via room service and it arrived hot and beautifully plated.
Our stay ended with our getting engaged so our memories of this hotel with be with us forever.
Thank you everyone for a fantastic stay.

The room was spacious. Liked the laminate floor. Seemed clean. Bathtub and ceiling need WORK ! Vallet service—Had to hunt someone down to get luggage out of and into the car. There was so much alcohol around it filled the fridge and then took over a counter.
The bed was wonderful. Liked the duvet. Every place out side of the room was DARK and depressing.
Hotel was in a good location. Felt like a safe area. Right across the street from a bldg full of great stores and a jazz club, Dizzy’s-5th floor.
Staff was nice. Great deli next door.
Please turn on some lights and lose the black and navy blue !!!!

Hotel was in an amazing location right in Columbus Circle. Definitely a smaller hotel with not much of a lobby or any “extra perks” but room was comfortable and clean and you can’t beat the location!

Great location. Right next to the Columbus Circle Station and Central Park. Times Square is a short walk.
The hotel is pretty decent. Rooms aren’t very spacious but if you are in NYC you probably only need this place to crash. The staff is friendly. There’s a restaurant and an overpriced bar downstairs that I’d avoid.

Not great for families. Super tiny rooms. Really basic. We had left a jacket in the closet and an hour after check out called to inquire about it. Someone at the front desk assured us it was found and that he would put it with our things in storage and when we arrived to pick it up it was nowhere to be found. Staff was not helpful

We booked this place to be a short home base for days in the city of touring and traveling(just sleeping and showering etc). But when I got food poisoning the day we arrived, it ended up turning into a home. Although the room is small as it is NYC this place became my sanctuary to recovery and got me back to health so I could enjoy my last two days in the city.

Fun Trip!
Our stay was amazing. My friend and I did a spontaneous trip and booked the first hotel we found in our price range. The room was a little small but honestly we spent so little time in the room it didn’t even matter. A plus was that they let us leave our bags before check in so we didn’t have to carry our luggage around the city.

Rooms are too small.
