I lifted up the sheets to check for bugs upon my arrival, and noticed on the bed cover under the sheets pubic and long hairs. That was pretty gross. There was no hot water, lukewarm at best and the hotel phone did not work.

Very comfortable
We’ve stayed at this hotel several times. Great location and always comfortable. This time our room didn’t have hot water so we spoke with the front desk and luckily they were able to find us a different room and it was great. Front desk staff even went up to the new room and tested the water before we moved. Very friendly and helpful staff and a great hotel!

Very clean, staff was excellent and helpful! Pet friendly which is a plus although Expedia didn’t mention there would be a non refundable pet fee but because the staff was so excellent they excepted my fur babies esa position and waved the fee. Couldn’t ask for better tv options and the stay.

We had a great stay. The young man at the front desk during check in was very friendly and professional. The hotel was quiet and safe. The location is excellent as it is located close to food and shopping. The room was comfortable and sufficient.

My wife and I have been involved in a family medical emergency at the hospital across the freeway from the hotel. We cannot express how kind the hotel has been to us and have bent over backwards to accommodate our needs. My wife is is still staying at the hotel and neither of us can say enough for the staff. An organization can have great policies and service, and we appreciate all of that, but thank you for the kind souls and servant people who work at your hotel. That’s God given. Hang on to all of them. We will stay in Hyatts whenever possible.

Overall a 9/10
The hotel was clean and up to date. The front desk staff were professional and nice. I didn’t have to wait to check-in. This may sound weird to some, but the elevators were fast. There wasn’t long wait times. The restaurant/bar staff were friendly and the food was good.

Everything was good but the fact that the water was off for hours from early am till around 7am wasnt good at all. Could not shower, get ice, nor flush the toilet. No compensation was added

Horrible Weather Day for Air Travel!
It was an unfortunate weather event that caused me to need a room. It was very comfortable and great people working there. The room was nice and clean. Sadly I had to be back to the airport at 4:00am. Thanks for everything!

Jayceon’s Zoo Outing😍
We were in the area to take our grandson to Riverbanks Zoo & Garden. This beautiful establishment was only a very short drive to our destination. EVERYTHING & EVERYONE AT THE HILTON GARDEN INN EXCEEDED OUR EXPECTATIONS!!!!!!!!!!! If I could rate it 1 million stars, I definitely would‼️

SO very refreshing to be greeted quickly by such a pleasant desk clerk! She knew just what we needed after checking in: elevator, dining room, and they even have a bar! AND while it's small, they have miscellaneous essentials right up front for purchase.
Honestly - I wonder if our room has ever been occupied it is so clean and shiny! I felt like a queen with the generous size of my bath towel. I'm SO glad hotels have switched to large-size shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner. The air conditioner doesn't even blow on us - and while we didn't need an "accessible" room, our room and bathroom is immense (no doubt partly why the a/c doesn't blow onto the bed), and there is all sorts of counter and closet space for our luggage.
All in all, this Hilton Garden Inn Columbia Airport has hit it out of the park!

The room was amazing! Advertised as wheelchair accessible, it truly was!! The only downer was that we saw two cockroaches in our room. I killed one, but the other got away. I have been staying in Columbia hotels for years as we drive down to Florida. This was the first time that I have ever seen a roach. I would be willing to wager that there must be some city ordinance that prevents spraying for these things. Am i right?

Booked a night here for myself and family for an event at the University of South Carolina. The hotel is in a convenient location and there are plenty of food options nearby. Our room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is right by a hospital, so I did hear sirens occasionally. Overall, I was very pleased with my stay!

We enjoyed our stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Columbia Airport. It was a great location right on the Interstate. We had a short drive to USC and the Riverbanks Zoo. The area seen behind our room was not great. The inside of the hotel was beautiful and the workout room was great also. The breakfast was not free though. Overall a great hotel with a few negatives.

The other hotel was a roach motel. Dead roaches are in the small refrigerator. all hotels are not created equal. Thank you for your great service. I look forward to staying every month.

Suited our purpose for a one night stay for event at UofSC.
Clean and relatively quiet.
Minor inconveniences: Bathroom Door would not stay open and got in the way. Only Decaf coffee available in room. Minor, but perhaps fixable.

Arrived about 9p after driving 10hrs - we were road weary/tired - in the midst of moving cross country. Booked the room on Hotels.com, although the 'pet friendly room request' did not come through to the Hilton. They politely accommodated our request and we had an amazing room! Hotel and room were very clean, staff was attentive, and we were extremely happy with our accommodations. Highly recommend this hotel, would definitely stay there again!

My husband and I had a great experience staying at this hotel. It was very clean, the staff were friendly, and overall we had a great time there. It’s the perfect location to and from the airport because it’s so close! The only complaint I have is on the last day we were there the tv decided to stop working. I think it was something to do with the wifi. But overall great hotel!

restless night
everything was fine until the AC stopped working and started making a buzzing noise all night. it got hot and the buzzing noise kept me and my wife up all night. my wife called the front desk at 3am and they were no help. not going to this hilton again.

WONDERFUL PLACE TO STAY FOR A FOOTBALL GAME
I TOOK MY 2 YOUNG CHILDREN TO A USC GAMECOCK FOOTBALL GAME AND WE STAYED THERE AFTER SO WE DID NOT HAVE TO DRIVE ALL WAY BACK HOME. IT WAS VERY NICE AND CLEAN. THE BREAKFAST WAS AWESOME. THE STAFF WAS AMAZING.

Great staff, and amenities. Disappointed with overall cleanliness of the room due to bed sheets being disheveled, and cabinet doors hanging off the hinges.
If your a light sleeper might not be the best place given music was playing all night from the pool area or next door hotel, which was the view outside our window.

Checkin was supposed to be at 3pm. I arrived at 4pm to be told my room wasn't ready and it would be a few minutes. It wasn't until 45 minutes later I was able to check in... 1 hour and 45 minutes after checkin time.

Rooms were comfortably appointed. Would be nice to have a couch in the larger two queen bed room instead of a long table.
Biggest complaint - the exhaust fan in the bathrooms are inoperable, so steam remains for a good while after hot showers.
What ever happened to free continental breakfast? We're paying more than enough for the rooms.

Check in was easy and the lobby was weary-traveller friendly with good choices for some late night snacks. The room was clean. The bed and linens were comfortable and fresh. The separate business area with an additional TV and couch was a nice feature. The hotel location is right across the highway from a hospital so we heard ambulances running code most of the night but that would be the only downfall.

The lobby and pool area are very nice. From first glance, the room is very clean and nice. But after looking, there were little poop stains on the wall, no vent in the bathroom, we found a fake nail under our bed, etc. not the most cleanly place.

Unfortunately, we found a roach in the room. The staff was very nice. Not to anyone’s fault, but due to the busy ness of the airport, we waited over an hour and a half for the shuttle to pick us up.
