Family emergency visit
The hotel staff was very friendly and the rooms had plenty space for comfort. Parking was available at all times and there wasn't any non hotel guess hanging around the area.

The bed was very comfortable. There were mostly big contractor pickups and larger trucks in the parking lot. The breakfast was really mediocre. The TV channels were hard to figure out. The room coffee was very poor. The entry lock on the room door required a special technique to get it to work. We needed assistance with that originally. Service was good however.

I only stayed one night for a quick trip but the staff was very friendly and kind and the room was huge! Breakfast was very good and the lady in the breakfast area (sorry didn't get her name) was so kind and always had a smile on her face. Bed was also very comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

Good hotel but needs to fix ac issues
Staff is courteous and hotel is very clean. My only complaint is that the air conditioner resets to 80 after an hour so of turning it down. Didn’t sleep much due to having to get up and turn ac back down every few hours during the night so that we could sleep comfortably.

Couldn't find it right away. The parking is very dark and few parking places. The bottom of the shower was filthy. Someone in housekeeping kept slamming the door, which was 2 doors down, at 4 o'clock in the morning. I had asked for a handicapped room, but didn't get it. The breakfast was the worst ever. All the bread was so old you couldn't eat it. The toaster didn't work. The ham was going sour. The omelets were as hard as tacos. I paid over $150.00 for this room on a non-holiday Thursday night. Ridiculous! The desk clerks were nice. The lady attending the breakfast handled the garbage and then went and handled the food. Disgusting. They charged me extra for after midnight even though I had called that morning to let them know I would be late.

Hotel was ok. Outside it looks ok inside the rooms are updated. Elevator was dirty and it looked old. Front desk was friendly the room was hot inside a/c was not working properly. Did not like that it was a smoke free hotel and there was people smoking and the room smelled like cigarettes not happy

Terrible , not clean , got a room with dna on toilet and my sisters room was not clean at all. Then went to get a room changed and the guy assumed i was lying even taking pictures, he had to go see for himself

Everybody was great the staff downstairs was great I lost my wallet they were more than accommodating and still letting me get my room by just have any information through the app on my phone also had a flat tire they were able to arrange me a ride to get that fixed They were just wonderful

Door to room wouldn't open. finally someone worked on it and if we jiggled the key just right it opened.
at 8:30 in the morning when we were barely awake, the front desk called to have us move our car, because they were resurfacing the parking lot.

Building was poorly maintained- the last reno had cheap and poorly done finishes. Room had damp carpet (I’m hoping what was carpet cleaning?) Empty shampoo bottles in shower. Very loud rattling hvac system. Felt dirty. Plus side- most employees I encountered were pleasant.

I highly recommend Holiday Inn Express for it cleanliness, and pleasant staff. Upon arrival, was greeted and checked in minutes. Our room was great, large sitting area, 2 queens and very well stocked. I am a stickler for clean and this place does it.

Ive always enjoyed using Holiday Inn as our primary hotel stay! The walls were a little thin and we were next to the pool door and could hear every time it closed and shut. But, we only stayed one night. I wouldn't stay in room 104 but it was a great and clean space! Very friendly front counter employees and wonderful breakfast bar!

Weird smell in hotel
Room AC did not work. Felt the front desk clerk was condescending when he was informed I wanted a new room. The implication was that I did not know how to work the thermostat. Overall the hotel had a strange smell - especially in the hallway of the 3rd floor. I did not visit floor 2 or 4, so I can't speak to those. The hallway was also felt dank - warm and humid.

It looks like an older hotel but everything was clean and comfortable. You can see where some areas in the bathroom were repaired. The breakfast was not back to normal yet so that was disappointing but understandable. I would stay here again.

Hello, my wife and I stay at the Holiday Inn express every time we come into town . This last visit will be our last, there were boats on trailers taking up 8 parking spots at a time along with trucks with trailers . I saw families with kids having to park out by the busy highway and having to unload . We personally pay over $300 for a 2 night stay and no parking . I choose to go somewhere else because of this . Never again ! Have a great day !

Check in and out were very easy. They have Keurigs in every room, which was more important to us than the breakfast sandwiches and cereal they offered. The managment gave us all the pods we wanted since we drink coffee all hours of the day. The hotel is located near some very good restaurants.

We came to town for the Mud Bogg at Hog Waller. We were very pleased with our stay at this hotel. We checked in late Friday night, covered in mud and the staff was super friendly. I asked for some recommendations to eat and the gentleman rattled off a list of places. The room was very clean and well taken care of. Will definitely stay there again when we drive 4 hours back down to go to Hog Waller.

Couple's mini retreat!
My boyfriend and I always stay at this hotel and the staff is always friendly! Check-in is always a breeze, our rooms are always very clean and the beds/pillows are very comfortable. The cons at this hotel are the knocks on the door when it's close to check-out time and the hallway carpet is awfully dirty. However, I do recommend this hotel.

Hotel was fine. We have stayed here numerous times visiting family in Palatka. It's strange times with Covid. But our main issue was the AC went out in our room and it was about 76 degrees when we woke. Checked out early.

Had a wall mirror fall into my companion as she was leaning over to use a microwave with her back to the mirror. ..no untoward injury but it hit an area where she was injured previously.
We refused to have it rehung during our stay and maintenence man said this was not unusual. DUH...they did reduce that day's charge by half.
