Check in was quick and easy. Receptionists were both very helpful. Had a problem with tv. She came to help, couldn’t fix it, gave us another room! She recommended a great place to eat!

The bathroom was unacceptable. The toilet wad blocked and the maintenance department had gone home. The girl at the desk did the best she could. Brought us a plunger no mop.

Very pleased with my stay
Very clean and comfortable. Julie was working the front desk when I checked in and her customer service skills were top notch! The ONLY reason I rated 4 out of 5 stars was because it is located right on off the main road, and you can hear all traffic. If I could, I would rate 4.75 stars out out 5.

The room, especially the bathroom, was a little dirty. Stains on the walls near the toilet was really gross. Bed was clean and comfortable. They were also short staffed on the morning of departure, leading to long lines for checkout. There was literally no one at the desk for 15 minutes. Doubtful I’d stay there again and I will be in the region again.

It was unexpected stay due to weather got tough to drive through. We booked the room and arrive within 45 min, arriving at noon. The desk let us checkin 3 hours prior to checkin time which we were grateful for. Beds were great and comfy!

There is no hot tub at this facility, it was across the street in a run down motel and was closed. Also the breakfast was sub par. The fan ran the whole time in our room.

Everything was great. Nice, clean room. A couple of issues I had with my room is the Heater/AC control settings on the wall didn't seem to work properly. I had to turn up the heat setting to the highest (86 degrees) for the room to heat properly. Also, the USB charging ports weren't working. So these are 2 minor issues but other than that, everything else was fine.

Door to hotel room 409 was broken into chunk of wood missing and had scrape marks along door jam. Door has huge gap at bottom where you could see in and out. Room also had load plumbing noises coming from room above. Could not sleep.

Staff was friendly and helpful.
All aspects of the stay were excellent. We did have a problem with extremely noisy quests above us. Spoke with women at the desk. She called the room and the people above us were gracious and toned down the noise. Many thanks to the lady at the front desk!

The front desk was very friendly and helped us find a restaurant we liked for dinner. The breakfast buffet the next morning was fantastic. Lots of hotels in Fredeicksburg but we would pick this overall. Great value.

Although the room was very clean, there were many issues which made this a difficult stay. Instead of a thermostat, the heat/air conditioning could only be controlled from a unit under the window - this unit was very loud, and couldn’t be set to achieve a desired temperature, so we had to keep getting up in the night to turn it on and off. My spouse has some mobility issues, and there were many features of the room that exacerbated the problems - the toilet was too low, the bed weirdly high. The sides of the tub were unusually high and hard to step over. Once in the shower - the water was extremely hard, and the shower head itself was very low. I am 5’8” and it was workable, but my spouse is 6’3” and it was definitely too low for someone this tall. The breakfast was tasteless and didn’t offer much in the way of nutritious food. Saran wrapped bananas were the only fruit or vegetable in sight.

We had a good experience staying here. The staff was very friendly and welcoming and the rooms were clean and comfortable. My only complaint was that there was no available parking and we had to park in another hotel's parking lot. The staff was apologetic about this though, and I appreciated that.

We originally booked one night here at The Holiday Inn Express. My husband became sick, we talked with Dee at the front desk and she very kindly extended our stay in the same room and very professional and accommodating. Fee asked what else we needed. Fee made sure to provide us with extra towels, coffee, etc.

Personally, I would give this a four star rating.
Overall stay was amazing. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. The only problem I had was that I was on the first floor in a handicap accessible room. The water pressure was way below normal. When the shower ran the entire bathroom floor had an inch of water all over it. I ended up requesting extra extra towels, rolling them up and creating a damn So that the water would be contained into the shower area.

We stayed overnight on our way from NY to Myrtle Beach and the room was clean and updated nicely. The hotel breakfast was ok. The pancake maker was not working but everything else was fine. I would definitely recommend it especially since we’re now staying in a dingy old room in MB. Overall great stay

While we were there, an air conditioner blew up. We all had to evacuate the property. We were outside for over an hour and a half and we’re told pretty much nothing in the mean time. With a baby, this was a nightmare. We couldn’t get him to bed on time, we couldn’t even get into our room to switch hotels. Terrible service the next morning too. Breakfast was a joke. No sausage, no coffee. 0/5 stars. Do not recommend. Everyone should get refunded for their stay that had to deal with that non sense esp with kids! How scary for them.

The stay was perfect albeit but one tiny detail - there was no iron in my room; however, I think that this was a company policy change rather than a single incident. No worries though. I just wish I had known ahead of time.

Hotel was very similar to other Holiday Inn Express facilities we’ve stayed at on trips, as far as roominess, cleanliness and design. Free breakfast was great. Staff was pleasant. Downside was hotel’s shoehorned location in a somewhat congested area next to another hotel.

Hotel room was clean. Limited parking- don’t get back to your room late or else you won’t have a parking spot. Hotel is next to a sketchy hotel that is run down. One staff at the front desk was smoking an electric cigarette & eating… not professional at all. Side door to get into the hotel will not open with room key. Overall stay was OK. Will not stay here again.

Stopped over on my drive to DC. Everything was as one would expect, with friendly front desk people too. Parking was a little scarce, but there is a strip mall next door for overflow parking. Recommend!
