The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was great with only a few minor issues. Breakfast was good and had a few options for those who do not eat pork. However, the pool was disgusting. Would stay again for the convenience of on/off highway access as well as how close it is to family when we visit.

Great Hotel!!!
My stay at Comfort Inn and Suites was simply amazing. The room was clean. I did see a few strands of hair on the side of the tub ,but for the most part everything was clean. I liked the fact that the hotel had breakfast everyday that you stayed there. I really enjoyed my stay ,and from now on when i go out of town I will try to book at Comfort Inn and Suites.

While I was finding sheets for the pull out sofa I cam across a blow up doll with my 10 year old and 14 year old standing there with me. I was/am highly disgusted. I wrapped it in a towel and took it down to the front desk. The hotel was sold out so the only other room available was one that my mother in law had cancelled but was not showing that it was cancelled yet. The lady at the front desk gave me that room. Had that room not been available and it not been 10:00 at night we would have left.

Not up to the usual standards
Pro: Staff was friendly and helpful as always. I really enjoyed talking to the staff in the breakfast area especially.
Con: We've stayed at this particular hotel before with no problems, but the particular room we were in this time was horrible (315). The bed were hard with the heads visibly tilting down and the far bed was right up against the ac. I don't know if that was the reason, or if the ac was just shot, but our room was also hot...even with the thermostat set as low as it could go (60°). You could physically feel it getting hotter when you went from the hall to the room.
I highly recommend somewhat lower beds to hotel management and possibly a maintenance check on the ac units.

Maids were still cleaning room when we got to the room. Sink in bathroom would not shut off all the way. For the price we paid we should have stayed at a cheaper hotel. We picked that one because we wanted a nice experience.

Servive was OK. Front desk was helpful not overly friendy but not bad either. The room had a stain on the carpet that was bad - who cares that happens. Bed sheets were stained and a shampoo bottle was left on drain of shower from last guest. Also toilet was not brushed. Disgusting.

The house is very comfortable and close to Disney. The kitchen lacked some of the basics such as there were no bread knives, potato peeler broken, no cheese grater. There were no bath mats or hand towels in the bathrooms. I would stay here again but would bring some of my own stuff to be truly comfortable.

This in not the first time we use comfort suites but is our first time in Floracd over all is a OK hotel, the loby and exterior looks fine but the rooms are dirty, stinky and not presentable, breakfast was fine, I don’t think I’ll recommend this place to anyone

The big thing I didn’t like was that there was only sheer curtains. There is a train track right in front, so if you are a light sleeper, you may get interrupted. Otherwise, every else was good.

I rarely write reviews but people need to read this and be aware. We were driving from VA to Hilton head and stayed here Friday night. We got a suite and the room was very old. The sheets had stains on them and the toilet didn’t stop running and would not then flush. The front desk staff person came up then and said he would compensate us and take it off the bill. When we went to check out the next morning that was not communicated to the day person who then called the manager. They took off $28.00. We then walked out to our car which was in front of the hotel with a security camera facing it only to discover we had been robbed. We had a car top carrier with a lock and they slashed it and cut all the straps. All of our stuff was taken, my parents and 3 children’s things as well as my own and all our tennis bags. We lost everything. When we went into the hotel they were less than sympathetic. While waiting for the police I started to walk the premises and went into the hotel next door, the Hampton Inn and suites. They said there was a lot of theft in the area and gave my children a brown bag with snacks and water and walked us to their dumpster to see if anything got tossed there. After the police came and took the report, my dad went inside to inquire about the security cameras. One girl behind the desk said , “ I don’t think there is any film or they even work.” There is a new Tru hotel next door but regardless the area needs more surveillance. Worst hotel experience ever.

Moved from original room due to first room not being cleaned(crumbs on carpet, food in fridge, garbage under couch, sheets looked like they weren’t changed), 2nd room we found a bra under the bench.
Simple things that weren’t done on the cleaning department end and don’t make you feel like the place is clean.

only suggestion is to have free tea in the lobby. had to convince the guy at the desk to get some hot water for tea and not charge me. coffee was free!

Be Suspicious of Glowing Reviews!
It's mind-boggling how this hotel has such good reviews. The only decent thing was the breakfast, frankly. The night manager was quite surly on check-in and seemed completely unconcerned with my report that the carpeting in our room seemed wet despite having made me sign a special statement that I would be on the hook for cleanliness issues in the room. The room itself felt dirty but smelled of industrial cleaning products. Stains, scratch marks from large dogs, smudgy windows, etc. The decor and furniture are in dire need of updating. They should probably just get rid of the carpet altogether. It's gross. There was a pervasive perfumy odor everywhere, especially the hallways, that I couldn't wait to escape. Signs point to vending machines that don't exist and look like they were forcibly removed by longshoremen. Thankfully it was only for one night. Never again.

I paid roughly $250 for a one night stay on my way back home. When we booked into the room we discovered that there was used soap with hair all over it in the shower, as well as dog feces under the nightstand in the room. The manager on duty Jared/Jerry came to the room to clean it up. He apologized and assured us not only was he going to go over this with his staff but we would be refunded a substantial amount, he advised he couldn’t say how much as he had to talk to his boss as well but they would have it for us at checkout. This morning we get to checkout, there’s a new girl who says she can’t do anything about it. The manager won’t be in until 10am & that Jared does not work again till Tuesday. Don’t spend your money here unless your cool with sleeping with dog feces at your Face.

I would not recommend nor stay here again. 1st got there 2 hours after check in my room was not ready. Got a new room; the stench was horrific then we found the puke on the ac unit that we cleaned up as it had only been wiped down. Hair all over the bathroom floor (gross) & then found a glob of jelly on the floor between the beds & on the bed skirt. …meaning they could not of even half assed vacuumed if @ all. I cleaned it all w/ a hand towel, took a picture of the towel after leaving it on the counter. Showed picture to shift manager got a new room a bit better but a horrendous experience. When leaving & asking for a receipt they said you did not book through us…I told them then to print out a zero balance & give me a receipt

This was a beautiful facility. The staff at check in were friendly and helpful. Restaurants were nearby either with a short walk or short drive. Easy on and off the I95. Room was lovely and spacious.

The bed was too high and difficult to get into, we are both of average height, no reason for it to be that high. AC unit was loud and so close to the bed that it was impossible for the room temp to be comfortable without the person on that side of the bed too cold.

Lackluster check in
Everything about the hotel was fine except the initial check in. We arrived at 2:00 AM after a long day of driving. The front door was shut and a sign in the lobby said that they are away from the desk and will return shortly. After waiting about 5 minutes, we decided to call the hotel number and was immediately sent to an answering machine. Eventually we pried the front door open so that my children weren’t forced to stay outside any longer. We hung out in the lobby an additional 10 minutes until someone came out saying “checking in”? There was no “sorry” or “hope you weren’t waiting too long” or anything that even felt like an acknowledgment that we waited more than 20 minutes just to get checked in.
Other than the initial inconvenience, the property and all other staff was terrific.

Property is in an okay location the couch had white stains on it put a sheet on the couch so that the spots were covered. They pool was closed during hours when it was supposed to be opened the staff at the hotel said it does not open until 11 but the Manager came in after several complaints and said no it was not opened due to the pool chemicals not being correct.
