Cambria Ft. Mill - Excellent!
GREAT hotel! It appears to be a relativily new build, looks great, very clean, quiet, safe, excellent restaurant/amenities, ALL of the hotel staff members have been wonderful. I'll be back!

My recent stay at this hotel was a delightful experience. The room impressed me with its meticulous and thoughtful design, ensuring comfort throughout my stay. The staff at the hotel were exceptionally courteous and accommodating, adding a personal touch to their service.
The food and bar service were standout features, offering a variety of delectable options that catered to my taste perfectly. A special mention must be made of the bar service, which was efficient and showcased a diverse range of drinks. However, I did find the pricing for the Old Fashioned a tad steep compared to the overall value offered.
In conclusion, this hotel provided a harmonious blend of comfort, excellent service, and culinary delights, albeit with a slight room for improvement in the beverage pricing.

A litle damp

The woman who checked me in was rude and abrupt. She also lied about there being lots of parking, since I found NONE for a good while. The room was fantastic and the man who checked me out was polite and professional. That first woman shouldn’t work in customer service at all.

Rooms are lovely. Linens excellent. Food available. Watch out fot the nightclub on the first floor. When they have an event, it can be heard in your room and they go quite late.

The property is very convenient off the highway. We have handicap parking so it was easy and right by the door. I was surprised that they were “holding” and extra $50 on my credit card for a few days for any incidentals or damage? Kind of an insult but went with it. Probably would not go back because of that. The property itself is lovely though. They do serve breakfast but not free breakfast. We went to chik-a-filet down the street when we left.

We came to town for family and stayed here, less than a mile from their home. The hotel was spotlessly clean, always smelled great, full of helpful employees and very comfortable.

At no fault to the hotel
Our check in was very pleasant; there has always been great svc at this hotel. We were in town for a volleyball tournament so it was about sleep and rest. Unfortunately we got none. At no fault to the hotel. In the room above us from about 8pm and all through the night there excessive loud walking, the wheelchair for the vanity seemed to have been raced across the floor. And at times loud banging on the floor. We did call the front desk but even when we were up early getting ready to leave the disturbance could still be heard...

Our 2 interactions with the front desk were poor. The woman was very apathetic, unfriendly, borderline rude, never greeted us or said “you’re welcome” or “thank you” in response to polite comments from us. We had to go back to the desk on the second day because our key stopped working, and it was the same deal. No apology. No “you’re welcome” when I thanked her for fixing it. It just seemed like it was a drag to deal with us. I think it was the same girl. Nose ring. Otherwise, the facilities were great.

Our Hotel California Experience
Stay was perfect until we were reluctantly checked out by Mr Bryant. It appeared that we disturbed him from his rest. Standing at the front desk at around 6 AM in the dark lobby to checkout I got no reaction from the three people in the lobby, two who appeared to be all night drinkers and who appeared to be guests, and Mr B who was in a lobby chair covered with a blanket. But I got Mr B's attention when I went behind the desk looking for a box to drop off our key cards. The subsequent interaction during the checkout experience was not pleasant. Totally different than the pleasant and professional check in experience. If we return, I'll make other checkout arrangements to avoid Mr B.

The hotel seemed pretty full, so extra staff at the bar/restaurant would have been beneficial. Noiser as the night went on. With having hardwood flooring, the people walking in their room above me was loud.
Yes, I would stay again. The positives outweighed the noise.

Absolutely LOVED this stay! I stayed a total of 3 nights and 4 days and everything was perfect. I loved the coziness of the rooms. Being 8 hours away from home this made it feel like a home away from home experience.

Broken bathroom door lack of privacy.
My sister got trapped in bathroom due to malfunctioning sliding door. We couldn’t budge the door. Manager came to rescue her. He could not get it back on track. Went to get bolt. Had to go back for ladder. Still not working. He was trying to call maintenance but they were off duty. We had to stay overnight leaving bathroom doors open. My 90 year old mother was aghast.

The lobby bathrooms needed cleaning. The front desk service was mediocre. The room was nice, clean and comfortable despite being able to hear people in the other room until after mindnight. It was good for one night but no more.

Very courteous staff. Very nice hotel. I wish the gates at the outside lounge area had key swipes. When coming back to hotel late, you have to walk all around to the front of the building to enter through the front entrance.

My mom, boyfriend and I stayed here for a week. It was great! We had no problems. Room was clean when we got there. Bathroom was wonderful. Shower got super hot! The room was a lot bigger than expected. Will definitely be staying here again if in the Fort Mill area!

Our check-in time was 3:00. We arrive around 4:00 and it seems our room wasn't ready. Overheard the front desk state that the room was clean yet. We had to wait for a bit after a 2 and a half drive to the hotel. That wasn't a good first impression. However everything else made up for. We were really impressed with the suite that we got. Very spacious. Nice living room separate from the bedroom. Our view overlooked the outside lounge area and pool. We also had a Keurig coffee maker, microwave and mini refrigerator. Even though we didn't take advantage of it, we liked that the hotel had a restaurant and bar. If the bar would have not closed at 11:00, we would have tried it out. The only thing that stood out to be an issue to us was the shower. Its a nice big shower, however it doesn't have a shower door to close. It's just a half a glass wall. Which was odd to us and unable to close shower door to hold water in and heat.
This was our first time staying at Cambria Hotel Fort Mill and we have said that we would definitely stay again in the future. This is one of the nicest hotel. Highly recommend.

Hotel was very good however we experienced multiple issues during the weeklong stay. An evening power outage midweek for over 4 hours that ended up being a breaker that was missed. Also had multiple vehicles broken into on Friday evening. Although not the hotels fault, the fact that the cameras did not assist the detectives and the management never followed up as requested was extremely disappointing.

Alright you’re not going to have immaculate views but it’s a gorgeous hotel. Very clean. Love the decor. And that shower *chefs kiss*. As long as you don’t mind not getting a spot out front, it’s an excellent hotel to stay at.

Aside from a miscommunication about whether we wanted our room serviced (we did, it wasn’t), this was an exceptional stay. The location was convenient to I77. The staff was superb! The customer service at every level was exceptional. And the room was super cute! Stay here. You won’t regret it.

I rarely take the time to do a review, however the Cambria was so special I had too. Very clean, room was fabulous and very modern, staff very friendly and helpful, the bartender especially exceptional. He was friendly and a great representative of the hotel. Loved this hotel. Seems to be newer. Lots of places to eat and shop around too. Staff was great and super friendly. They may be a little short staffed at the moment because the bar tender was also the cook but she was amazing (Janet). Super convenient location. Would definitely stay here again.
