If you will provide a link where I can upload a video, you will see how flimsy the doors are at this property. I stayed here a few years ago and they tried to give me the same room I refused the first time. I rebooked here because I thought there was no way they would not have fixed the doors by now. It made me feel unsafe for myself and my belongings while away.

Wouldn't recommend. I went for a business trip. Saturday night when I checked in, the people next door to my room were very loud. Going in & out the room. Talking loud in front of my door. So loud to the point i could barely sleep. I had to call to the front desk twice to complain. Which didn't help. Keep in mind i had a class to attend at 9am the next morning. Once i finally got to sleep good, i was awaken by someones dog barking non stop, as if they locked it in the batbroom to step out (because thats where the barking was coming from, behind my bathroom). When i got back from my class Sunday, it was kinda cool outside so i wanted to turn the heat on in my room. Heat didn't work. Called the front desk. They didn't have any space heaters & wouldn't offer me another room with working heat. She gave me an extra blanket. Didn't sleep good that night either.

Smokey Funky Rooms
When i checked in the room i was given 116 smelled like heavy cigarette smoke and funk. The maid knocked on the door and said the room needed additional cleaning. I agreed i was calling the front desk as she was knocking. The maid walked me to the front to assure i was switched to another room. The 2nd room was better. They allow people to smoke in the rooms which is horrible. There is no hiding that smell and for non smokers its so disgusting to be forced to stay a space you've paid for and you're not comfortable.

This was my first time in South Bay. It was a great overnight trip. The beds were comfortable, clean, the breakfast was awesome! ☺️The staff was very helpful, friendly, and caring. I will definitely stay here again! Thanks for a great trip!

Front desk attendant was not helpful as she did not speak English or Spanish.
I was concerned when a lady came for breakfast with her did in her arms as she opened the covers of the eggs and breakfast meat. I like dogs but do not like dog hair in my eggs 😬

This is an old hotel they painted but did nothing else. Grossly expensive for the condition. Bad mattresses,!dirty floors.

Location is in a good place. Outside is pleasing. Room was clean, but was given a smoking room when I reserved a non-smoking room. Bed not as comfortable as it could be.

Short business trip
This is a slightly older property, but very funtional.
It is well maintained for the age of the property.
Vivan, the GM, is very courteous & accomodating.
Overall I would rate thie property a 3 star.

we told you before that clewiston Best Western cancelled our reservation so I dont think they deserve a review and if I did , it would not be a good one. Would never recommend this motel to anyone!!!!!

Desk clerk w bee hive hair do was clueless. Front window room 103 lock broken. Told me no one would climb in and HURT me. Yes at 208$…..
Night # 2 I arrived at 9pm and he had forgot to tell mgr that I was staying a second night.
I had driven 80 miles from fr myers folks clean up.
Slept in my car in police parking lot !
Charged me anyway !

The staff was friendly and efficient. The property was not the greatest. Someone had smoked marijuana and cigarettes in our room and it reeked. The neighbors had several dogs that began barking at 530am. It was noisy most of the time. The sliding window was broken and could easily be entered from the ground floor.

We had to evacuate to the Clewiston area during the Hurricane Ian. The staffs were very understanding and accommodating.

We called the number on the website and secured a room for 3 nights during hurricane Ian mandatory evacuation. Paid $75 extra per night for our dog. When we went to check in they informed us they are not pet friendly. Agreed to let us stay one night and then we had to leave. Saw at least 4 other dogs while there. Got a call the morning we were getting kicked out reminding us we had to leave. Very rude, it wasn’t even time to check out yet. When mandatory evacuation, Governor Disantis states that hotels in Florida must accept all pets. Found a room at the Best Western in Clewiston where everyone was very friendly and supportive of our situation and our pet. I would not recommend the Hampton Inn ever, rude and insensitive.

The hotel was clean. Plenty of Parking. The pool looked very clean. The breakfast was horrible. It is pretty hard to mess up coffee - but they did! The eggs looked like they were dehydrated and then hot water was added to them. Bacon was horrible. Just go across the street to McDonalds

The staff from the Front Desk to the Cleaning Crew were all friendly, approachable and willing to serve. Room 114 had a slight musty smell and the sheets and pillows on the beds were stained and just did not appear clean.

The front desk team was very friendly and helpful. They researched churches for me at 1 am, when I checked in so I could attend Easter service.
The hotel is clean, but a little worn.
The breakfast included a full, hot breakfast with eggs and sausage.
We were very pleased.

It’s an older hotel that could use some updating in the rooms. The breakfast was good, but all the cups were wrapped in plastic and the silverware was prepackaged, which seems wasteful. The staff was amazing and very friendly.

The room smelled really bad, cockroaches in the room, there was no hot water in the shower, just lukewarm, the hair dryer didn't work.

Carpeting really needs cleaning. Just walking barefoot when I got in the shower the bottom of my feet were black! No shampoo or lotion - only conditioner. Also no bath mat.

We did not get room service for the 2 days. We come 1 day earlier so we stayed 3 nights.
Not once did we get clean towels. The breakfast was slow 10 people down there took 20 minutes for them to serve 1 person so we left. If you want a place to sleep there you go otherwise i would not be coming back.

Our stay was terrible!!! When we showed up we were told to wait an additional hour for housekeeping. No problem. We grabbed a bite to eat and showed back up 3 hours later. When we went to the room, it had never been touched. Trash all over and bed still messy. When we asked for another room, they told us there wasn’t any available. The housekeeper on site was having personal problems and said she needed to leave. My wife ended up helping her clean the room. Then after we thought it couldn’t get any worse, the A/C didn’t work. So they brought us a box fan. After all this we didn’t get a discount or anything. This place was horrible for us

They furnished no blanket on the bed. The coffee was like mud. Breakfast was not good. Room was drafty and not very clean. Access to the upper rooms is terrible. Had to enter the stairs from the front or opposite side of the building. Lower rooms have parking in front of the door. Staff was not very friendly. Too much money for this dump.

I’ve been staying in this hotel for the past 3 weeks when I’m in town for work purposes. I will say that the staff went out of their way to make me comfortable. My main complaint was that it was a chilly night when I came in, the room was cold, and the heater did not work at all. I was able to get a space heater from the front desk and an extra blanket which I was very grateful for, but no one came in to look at it or bother to fix it the next day. My other inconvenience was the iron was broke & 2 trips was made by myself & front desk to finally give me an iron that works. My last complaint was the shower had no hot water, so needless to say, I took a cold shower at 5:15 am.
I give the front desk staff an A+ for accommodating me, but management needs to make sure that the rooms have working appliances, air/heat, etc. so customers can feel a bit of a home. I’m a travel Nurse coming into the area to help, and I don’t ask for much. I only want to be comfortable while I’m traveling....

I stayed at this hotel for work purposes. Hotel can use upgrading, but over it’s convenient to Walmart (across the street), Burger King ( literally 1 minute walk).

This place needs a little remodeling in tbe room in which i stayed things were a little out dated and it was hard to even get hor water in the shower. The staff i only encountered 2 however the lady at the front desk was not even available to check me in. I had to wait 15 mins for her to show up because no one knew were she was.

Maite at the front desk was more than accommodating, even when we arrived much later than anticipated. Her customer service and warmth were a wonderful welcome. She told us the breakfast would be delicious at it was! The coffee was wonderful and strong, and there were REAL eggs, bacon, biscuits with gravy and a spectacular corned beef hash. I would stay here again in an instant.

Slippery when wet or not.
Our stay was nice. The breakfast was good and the staff was super friendly. The only negative things was the bathroom floor and tub was super slippery. Saturday night my husband slipped and fell out the shower on the floor. My opinion is that some of the slip proof mates needs to be placed in the tubs to prevent a more serious accident from happening that may cause injuries.

Everything was in working order but that is about all I can say. It is very outdated and there were dirt and fingerprints everywhere like the doors and cabinets had never been wiped off at all. I probably would not stay there again.

Pleasant hotel staff. One member of the staff even looked up information about fields of plants we had passed on our trip to the hotel when I inquired as to what the plants were Good breakfast. Clean room, comfortable bed.

Nice clean hotel near historic Lake Okeechobee
