My husband and I had tickets to a show that we did not want to miss due to weather. We decided to stay here at the last minute. The price was reasonable, check in process was smooth, staff was extremely friendly, and the room was very clean.

Great location, affordable, pet friendly, neighborhood hotel with surprisingly large and modern rooms. Could walk everywhere including the lake (one block away) and Wrigley Field (3 blocks). Simple breakfast included.

Great walkable neighborhood with dining options nearby (we got food from El Mariachi next door, it was excellent). Easy parking in the lot adjacent to the building or on the street. We stayed here one night while in town for a concert at the Aragon Ballroom, it was perfect. Breakfast options were fresh and tasty, the cinnamon rolls were just as good as everyone said - so good that we ran across the street and got half a dozen to bring home. :) Staff were friendly, room was clean and quiet, overall a positive experience for a reasonable price.

- staff at arrival was great, not so at departure
- we were charged an extra fee for the lobby calling a cab for us; nobody told us, and nobody seemed to know about it when we asked about it after the fact
- heater in the room was very loud: woke us up several times
- steel bedframe construction did not match the size of the mattress (felt like a queen instead of a king)
- bedframe was noisy ("squeaked” with every move) and we kept hitting our feet on it
- towels were dingy and seemed that they needed to be replaced
- no hand/body lotion.
The location of the hotel is fantastic, hence the two stars.
We were in room 301.

This property is a fantastic location in the Lakeview/Wrigleyville area. Surrounded by many fun restaurant options, shopping and a grocery store very close - plus a Starbucks half a block away. My room was exceptional, very comfortable bed and plenty of space for just hangin out. I’ll definitely stay again when I’m in town.

The hotel is in a beautiful, safe area with many restaurants and shops. The staff is very friendly and helpful. While the rooms and common areas are clean but a little dated, they have everything you could need to enjoy your stay. This is a very solid 3-star hotel.

This is a super cute and quaint hotel situated in a residential area close to Wrigley stadium. It’s an old facility but the staff works hard to keep it clean and presentable. The rooms are spacious and have a refrigerator and microwave. They have breakfast but there are much better options less than 1/2 mile walk from the hotel (Stella’s diner was great). It’s also very easy to get an Uber or Lyft. The longest wait I had was 8 minutes. I did have an unidentified insect in my room and I despise bugs so I took a star off for that and the rate is a bit on the high side but I attribute that to the proximity to the baseball stadium. I’d stay here again in the future.

First time staying at a Best Western, was very happy with our stay and hotel. Friendly staff, great breakfast and our room was spacious and clean. We also had a Festival to enjoy in front of the hotel.

The parking lot is absolutely filthy and totally un safe. Needs to be cleaned of all loose sand and gravel. Very easy to slip and fall.

Close to Wrigley and surrounding neighborhoods. The hotel was adorable and the Staff were all absolutely lovely and kind. We are coming back next year and wouldn’t think of staying anywhere else.

Overall a pretty nice stay, mainly due to good location. Comfortable bed, big TV, just nothing special or notable. My main complaint is the shower didn't have a door on it, the back half of the glass was essentially just left open and as a result water splashes all over the floor no matter what you do. Having to mop up the small lake on the bathroom floor every morning definitely hurt the stay a bit.

Great location. Cleanliness was fine. Very disappointed that recycling was not available. In an enlightened and modern city I should NOT be throwing away tons of recyclable items, or having to pack it and take it home. The room was a little dingy, peeling wallpaper, mold in grout, but overall it was good.

Excellent value in Wrigleyville
Overall, very happy with my experience. Was only 13 minute walk to Wrigley Field. Lot's of restaurant options within walking distance. My only minor complaint is that the plantation style shudders on the windows were broken and hard to close completely (including in the bathroom!!!). My room was east-facing, so it was hard to keep the light out in the morning when I wanted to sleep in a little after checking in at 1am. Would be nice to maybe have some blackout curtains or something.

This location was convenient to the sites we wanted to visit. Wrigley Field was in walking distance and a safe walk. There were plenty of cute dinners and coffee shops around even a grocery store. Easy access to many things. Rhonda at the front desk was very helpful in the morning. The ladies in the evening were also nice. I would definitely return to this location!

The only minor inconvenience was the air conditioner being pretty noisy, specifically at startup. It didn’t disturb our sleep, but I can see where it might affect light sleepers.

The hotel is in a great location (15 minute walk to Wrigley Field). The beds were comfortable and the showers were decent.
The room had a distinct/strong "old building" smell which permeates your clothing. Staff were pretty indifferent but not rude or anything.
Blinds were broken and the room phones didn't work.
Would I stay there again? Not a chance.

The most important thing about sleeping in a hotel is that the mattress should be comfortable. I slept like a baby. The mattress wasn’t too soft or too firm. It was just right. The 2nd most important thing for me is the location. And this hotel is right in the middle of a terrific neighborhood. Great restaurants, boutiques and shopping. Not to mention proximity to the lake and Wrigley Field for sports fans. The front desk staff were friendly and professional, and Esmeralda, the young woman who cleaned our room was the nicest person. We had fresh towels when we needed them and she kept us stocked with coffee pods because we have to have our caffeine before we can leave our room. Not only will we stay here again but we’ll even request the same room. It was so quiet and tucked away. The complimentary breakfast was a nice touch as well! For the price, this hotel is a wonderful value. It could use an update, as far as wallpaper and carpeting is concerned, but the bathroom was really nice. I can’t say enough nice things about this hotel. We’ll be back!

First time visiting Chicago in many years. Easy and safe walk to Wrigley Field and to many restaurants. Also not far from Lake Michigan. Free breakfasts in the mornings were delicious. We had a suite which was excellent, spacious and clean. The neighborhood was clean and beautiful with tree lined streets and friendly people walking their dogs. We will definitely rebook here when we return. You won’t be disappointed.

It felt like a boutique hotel. Location was great. Squeaky bathroom door. Closet door would not close correctly. Despite this, everything else makes it a great place to stay when going to a ball game ⚾️!

The staff was very friendly and helpful.
When the elevator was not working, it was not pleasant to use a stairway that exited in the back of the building where trash was stored and was home to many rats. Luckily I knew to watch for them after seeing one big one drink from the fountain in the front of the building earlier in the day in the middle of the day.
