No hot water for 4 nites. Shower broken in that room for 15 years. Federal arrests all night long. Oh well. Better Best Westerns in California. North Hollywood is wonderful beyond belief.

Great hotel in excellent location and very convenient and clean. Only downside is breakfast provided is all prepackaged "starch" products and WHITE bread with some yogurt and apples but no protein. STILL a great hotel!

The hotel is old and getting on the side of run down. To have even a warm shower we needed to let the water run on full hot for 15-20mins each day. The breakfast is a bunch of packaged foods with no place to eat it. The staff were all very friendly and nice. I can’t fault them in their customer service.

I won’t book in any other location! Everything is in comfortable walking distance and I am writing this in Winter. The facility was clean, staff has great service & the bakery connected was very nice. Highly recommended!

The hotel is well situated by the park and convenient to the ‘L’ train. The staff were pleasant and helpful My only complaint is that the water temperature in my hotel room’s bathroom (both sink and shower) was not hot. I thought if I let the water run for awhile it would warm up but it didn’t. I informed the desk and they said they would send maintenance to check. When I returned later that day I did not notice a difference in the water temperature.

Rooms were very dirty. Hotel is also very outdated and old. Our room was right beside the elevator and we could hear it running thru our walls all night. Staff were very polite.

Double Beds are two Twin beds
The BW Grand Park Hotel is located in a great location. The stay would have been great if the double beds were a bit larger. It was a double bed room with two full size beds not two queen size beds. Two adults sleeping on a full size just didn't work. The room was small.

the staff was very polite and helpful. The view from the room was incredible, you can see Lake Michigan and also the city. The beds were very comfortable and the heat worked very well. We stayed here for one night after a Chicago Blackhawks game Dec 22nd. There was easy public transit from the United center back to this hotel. We were thrilled to get early check-in around noon. The lady at the front desk was very friendly, pleasant, and helpful. I believe her name was Tracy champion. The building itself is slightly dated but more than made up for it with friendly service and overall clean and comfortable. The French cafe next door was excellent

The only thing that was what I expected was the location. The front desk person was rude, they did not have parking. Our room with 2 doubles and a sleeper sofa was so misconfigured that we constantly stubbed our toes getting to our bed a poor use of space in room 308. The halls smelled of weed and there were holes in the carpet. 10 out of 10, would NOT stay again.

Oopsie, I’d never valet again
Our trip was great until the next morning when we were getting ready to leave, the valet crashed some poor lady’s car! And then we had to wait an hour to get ours. It was ridiculous! The hotel is clean but old with a cute bakery attached.

This is an older property, but well maintained. For the price, we could not have beat this choice. It is within walking distance from the museums, great restaurants, and grocery store. The pastry shop is a fantastic addition to the property. The staff was so kind and helpful. We would stay there again for sure. The continental breakfast in the morning was a nice touch. We could grab a cereal bar, fruit and a cup of coffee and hit the road.

Not great. Not terrible.
Disappointed to see a long black hair both on the bathroom floor and in the bath tub on check-in. Burned-out lightbulb in the bedside lamp. Hot water in shower took about 5 mins to be considered actually "warm." Heater set to 68 deg. F, but had to be clearly much more than that. I turned it off during the night (mild December weather.) The blanket on the bed was very heavy, and considering how warm the room was with the heater on, was too much.

Very convenient location, right on Michigan avenue. Safe area, right across from Grant Park. If you like walking you can walk right up Michigan avenue to the river and to Magnificent Mile shopping district. Hallways are a bit dated, but overall great for the price.

I loved the 2 queen bedrooms they seem to be a little more updated. The king bed room i has this time, the ac leaked so much water my carpet was squishy. And the water in the bathroom shower leaked it everywhere and the water didn't get very hot. It was warm.

Except for one interaction with a front desk star member, all other staff were very nice and helpful. The hotel was quiet and around a lot of good food options and close to my destination. The property definitely needs some updating and fixing as my bat-tub wall was broken. The drain in the bat tub was also broken. The cleaning staff was on top of cleaning the room and providing towels and rags daily. Overall it was a good stay just need some updating and fixing

That we paid 150 bucks for vallet parking and had to be refund cause are cars horn didnt work i think they should ask that before they charge you. We also didnt have a microwave in our room which was suppose to come with the room

Room was just okay. There were 4 tiny pillows on the king bed - very weird and unusual. Bathroom was small and when you showered water got everywhere. Curtain was not long enough and ledge was not tall enough- cracks in shower and wallpaper peeling, and no bathroom fan. Staff was nice and location was good.

So much of this property was just neglected. Elevators were filthy. Bathroom was gross. Tub didn’t drain. TV remote didn’t work. Shower looked like it was under construction still. There was no hot food for breakfast. No way to get it even buy a bottled water in the whole building, not even the vending machine. Just an old neglected hotel that’s only redeeming value is the location near the stadium and a hard working staff.

We arrived thinking there would be available parking. Had to park three blocks away, no valet available. Booked two rooms thinking we could get same floor. That didn’t happen. Continental breakfast was disappointing. We did like the closeness to Soldier Field.

Staff was great. Pillows could use an upgrade. Parking was ridiculous. A shuttle from parking garage to hotel and back would be nice. A shuttle to go to and from events too I found the hotel to be overpriced. Breakfast was only served for two hours.

Amamos quedarnos en el BWGP. Un hotel centrico, en un área tranquila y segura, con un buen precio y sus almohadas super cómodas. El desayuno es realmente es mas parecido a una merienda, sin embargo, la cafeteria/panaderia está al lado y todo lo que gienen es sabroso.

Easy walk to soldier field
Hotel location is great. Lots of places to eat and drink within easy walking distance. Hotel is in the city so it comes with all the city noise no be prepped for that. Staff was super friendly and super helpful. Room was what ya expect. Clean but like you know the shower draind slow. The shower curtain was cloth and needed changed. Overall i would stay here again whem visiting Chicago for a game.

My 2-day hotel with my adult daughter was okay. The room was nice and clean but the environment (heating and cooling system) ran extremely loud) was not too pleasant. There was also some type of construction going on right outside, but it seemed like they were next door, and we were on the 6th floor. The windows offered no sound reduction at all. The price for parking ($52 or $62 a night) is extremely high to me, regardless of the location. Other than that, the stay was okay.

For the price, it would be better to pay a little extra and stay next door at Homesuites by Hilton or up Wabash a couple of blocks and travel lodge. The number one complaint is the lack of sound attenuation from the street. I was woken up multiple times a night by trucks and noise on the street. There was a constant smell of cannibus in the hall, too. I’d imagine this hotel won’t be around for very long because BW has done little to keep it up.

Clean, safe, convenient. We were lucky enough to check in early...which was very helpful with our luggage. Easy walk to Museum campus. A very good value for the area.
Rooms a bit dated, bathroom cramped. At one point I got stuck in an elevator that didn't want to finish the ride. Also, one day we had no housekeeping (and it was the one day we left the towels on the floor to be replaced.)

Great location. Room was very clean. Bed wasn't that comfortable, and pillows seem pretty worn.
Service was excellent especially Chris the security person with the nice smile. He was very helpful and kind.
It would be helpful to let customers know more how the parking garages work. Because we parked 2 days at Wabash we almost were unable to get to our vehicle. The call button and phone number asks you to leave a message or send an email as we found out from the people the manage the tenant building after 2 days your ticket doesn't work. Fortunately, a kind person in the tenant area was able to help us get to our vehicle. I like the security but would have been bad if it was in the evening and we were trying to leave.

Properly is run down. It seems like they are renovating however we did not see workers anywhere in our 4 night stay. Parking is ridiculous in price! We did have problems the first two nights with no hot water but staff did take care of us. Staff was very friendly. Cleanliness was good.

The hotel itself needs upgrades. I was on the 9th floor and had what seemed to be a residential smoke detector. And there was no sprinkler system. The breakfast was as limited as could be. The location is amazing. The guy at check in was very nice. The cleaning crew was nice. Check out lady was nice.

The staff were very friendly and my room was pretty good but the common areas are probably still awaiting upgrades. It rained a lot and my windows were covered with moisture. I don't know if it was the moisture or the heater but when I was in that corner of the room it smelt. And my bath towel smelt a bit like curry. The rest of the room smelt nice. I like the neighbourhood the hotel is in. Best Western should be ashamed of what is served as a 'continental breakfast'. They would be better off to not serve anything other than coffee.

The property was clean, staff was courteous and attentive. Carpet in the room I had could use a change or a deep cleaning and the heating / AC unit needs to be cleaned and filters changed / cleaned. An issue not unique to many hotels. Overall a restful stay. Also, location is central to most attractions in Chicago.

I’d find a different hotel in the same area.
The hotel was in a great location, but the room was in very poor condition. The entry light was not working, shower and sink would not drain, door would not shut properly, no USB ports, bathroom fixtures falling off the wall, numerous cobwebs on the ceiling, and worn out mattresses.

Hotel is older and furniture needs to be updated. Two of us stepped on a nail or staple walking barefoot into the bathroom.
