I have stayed there many times and it is always a great experience the rooms are very clean the staff is very friendly and the parking for boats and airboats is phenomenal.

Only thing I like was the nature surrounding it. Rest of the property appeared disorganized, unsafe. No customer service. I wanted to leave after the first night but they didn’t allow me to ge full reimbursement of the second night. If you don’t have a boat there’s nothing to do. The store staff was not nice or friendly. Boring place, nothing to do and nothing around the hotel. I’ll never go back to camp Mack and never recommend it. The lodge is horrible. Looks like a scary movie motel. The cabins are no pretty and all the RVs together don’t look aesthetically appealing. No views. No food. No breakfast and it’s extremely expensive for what you get. Waste of money and time.

Definite return when in area
We were very happy with our stay. This is a well run lodge with a camping atmosphere. It is located in a wooded area by the lake. We were there during the week, very quiet. I understand it gets much busier over the weekend. Very relaxing camping trip without the camper.

Confusing check in, but wonderful place
This place was great. We thought we were going to be in a cabin, but the day before check-in we got an email telling us we were getting one room and quickly another room. I responded that I got the message. They then told us the office was closed on Sunday and there would be a lock box on our door. There were no numbers on anything, so a nice couple who lived there helped us for almost an hour to finally find our room in the motel part. They should have told us in the email that that is where we would have found it. After we finally got in, the room was great!! Would stay there again if in the area and wished we had more time there. The bar/restaurant behind the motel was fun and had great food.

Weekend College Sporting event
Since my kids have entered college. I have stayed at many hotels, to watch them play thier sport. We have been all over the southern region of the US. This by far was the 100% cleanest room I have ever been in. I was very impressed. I'm not a fisherman or hunter but if you love to fish,or hunt for hogs This is the place to stay.

My family stayed at the lodge. My granddaughter has leukemia. The room was perfect. The decor was lovely and the room was super clean. The kids went to the pool and it was very well maintained. These things are very important to us because of Lindseys health. She loved it so much. We will stay there again. Thank you so much for a lovely stay😊

I absolutely love the friendliness of the people. Mainly Kerrie, she goes out her way to make sure we're comfortable. They check in with you to make sure you get in your place of lodging. Enjoyed everyone and everything.

We arrived on Wednesday and enjoyed our stay until Friday. New arrivals on Friday decided to have a party on the picnic tables right outside our door. I went out and said something and they left. Saturday night there were a group of boys banging on the pop machines at 11:30. I went out and said something. Other than not getting sleep, we really enjoyed our stay.

Nothing like we thought it would be.
We rented the river House not realizing the whole day would be constant airboats up and down the river. For those who go for airboating I would imagine that you have a blast but for those getting away for some relaxation and a bit of fishing, not so much.
However we could not have had more friendly or helpful women in the store or office.

Awesome property and great rooms
Room was very clean and beds were ok. Staff very friendly. Plenty of room for boat parking. Hotel rooms are a decent walk to riverfront but close to sports bar. Would stay here again.

NOT WHAT WE EXPECTED
THE STAY WAS OK HOWEVER THE WATERFRONT HAD VERY LITTLE GOING ON...THE POOL WAS GOOD AS WAS THE BAR HOWEVER THERE WAS NO WIFI - NOT EXACTLY WHAT WAS EXPECTED AND CHECK IN AFTER HOURS WAS DIFFICULT

a great place to slip out of time
We came to the area for an event in Lake Wales and found this out of the way place. it is quaint and authentic old Florida Fish came. It is a great place to slip out of time.

Enjoyed our stay!
We loved staying here for a night! The room was clean, super spacious, and furnishef super cute in the fish theme! We asked if there was a way to do a late check-in, so they put a locj box on our room. Super accommodating!!!

Very few places left in America that offer a low-cost nature experience. I feel like I am at camp when I come here. Nothing better than a simple fire pit and black coffee.

Our room in the lodge was so clean that it is possible everything was new. This was the cleanest room I stayed in over the past several years.
Options for food nearby are limited. A mecca for those looking for fishing or a quiet and interesting stay.

Fish camp was setup nice with ole style country charm setting , had a great time , the only thing they really need to is work on is the couple holes at the boat ramp when unloading makes it a little tough when launching your but other than that the place great & the staff is very awesome with everything u need to fish & have a good time

The room could use grout and deep cleaning, but was acceptable. Nobody goes here to hang out in the room anyways.
The rest of the camp is amazing! Everyone was enjoying themselves, even in the rain. We went on the Alligator Cove airboat rides onsite...HIGHLY recommended, reservations required.

No running hot water. Had to wait three hours in the morning for hot water.
All night I was awaken by the loud sounds of snoring from the next room.
I was promised a free stay and now the office keeps telling me the manager is not in and they don’t

There is no all night person working at the office. Luckily I had read about that so I called early in the day, so they could make an arrangement and called me back. Also I am accustom to hairdryers and a little free breakfast in the morning. I understand that this is a camp, not a hotel. I think it would be great fun for people with RV’s and boats.
