Located near the Queensboro Bridge and the Roosevelt Island Tram, public transportation right outside with the buses and metro stations a few blocks away. Ritz Diner, Lunetta Pizza, and a lot of other places are nearby. Fully recommend staying at The Bentley Hotel.

It was a great stay, first time in New York. I just wish they would of had a restaurant in the hotel. The staff was great and the view was amazing. People were pleasant and we just had a blast. Poped the big question to my lady and she said yes, thanknyou New York.

Quick to resolve issue
I slept very well! The bathroom is my only complaint. Caulking and the bottom of the tub aren’t top notch. I had to call about no hot water but the issue was resolved within 10 minutes of calling it in.

Nice experience, bathroom somewhat lacking
Location is great! The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful and stylish. I wish the bathroom would have had CONTER Space (not just a narrow glass shelf) to place the toiletry bag. There was rust around the bath tub drain and I did not want to step into that tub to take a shower.

Our room did not have hot water for the shower. We talked to the front desk. It was fixed. Then the following night there was no hot water again. It happened the three nights we were there. The positive, is when I went to check out they comped our breakfasts that were charged to our room. Very friendly staff.

I was a bit anxious booking this property as the room rate was such a bargain. My King/Deluxe room was a corner room on the 14th floor overlooking the bridge and river. The room was beautiful, exceptionally clean and comfortable bed with crisp, clean sheets and bedding.
Staff is friendly and helpful from check-in to check-out!
I would definitely recommend this hotel for business, or pleasure travel!

We booked a room specifically for the "city view" they are so sure to highlight- only to find that the blinds were completely broken. The pull cord that should have been used to move the blinds up and down, to allow a view of the the city- the main focus of our stay- had been COMPLETELY RIPPED OFF, leaving the blinds permanently down with no way to open them. We called the front desk and asked to be moved to a different room- only to be offered a room that did not have the same view. Why would we book a city view room, which costs more, and then take a room without the view we specifically paid for? As it was 20 degrees outside on a March night, and we got in at 10:30pm, we had no other choice but to stay with the hotel room we got. We were offered free breakfast, but we booked this hotel for the view, not breakfast, and we declined. When we checked out the next morning, I made sure to make the front desk staff aware- and they seemed surprised that our experience was so poor. When I called the following day I was told by the supervisor that management is well aware that the blinds in many rooms are broken because the Bentley Hotel was used as a shelter during COVID and the damages sustained to the hotel during that time have never been fixed or updated. When the view of the city is your selling point, and you are fully aware that you are making people pay for something they won't get? That is a deceptive and underhanded way of doing business.

It served its purpose
The gotel served its purpose. I needed a room for thw night at the last minute. I reserved a Superior room with a queen bed and was told they upgraded me to a double. It was a 9x15 room with 2 double beda. Not an upgrade in my opinion. There was no hot water. I dont do cold showers. The front desk lady was very cordial and polite. She was a 10.

The hotel is beautiful, modern and clean. There is a beautiful view of the city. We went out in Times Square so we were close but the action. The convenience of the parking garage is the best part. We didn’t spend a bunch of time searching for parking. We had the nicest clerk at check in. Very helpful. Bar in the lobby is a plus. Would stay again for sure.

WiFi internet and TV was broken for all 2 days I was there. On my first request a manager told me that they going to call a technician to come. Next day another manager told me that Internet service company is too far and they will call me instead. And I would need to pay routing phone charges to fix their problem? Last day on check out I was told that they do not do anything with it. New comers are welcome. Heater is noisy, water pipe noise arrestor would be nice to have.

The bar doesn’t exist, it’s closed. The rug in the room smelled; not bad per se, just like dirty laundry. Photo’s definitely look better than reality. Had to run the shower for 7 minutes to get warm.
Location is good, view was fine, comfortable sleep… decent price but won’t book again

I planned my trip to NYC to donate bone marrow to save a cancer patients life. I emaioed the hotel to tell them I would be arriving on a tuesday on a red eye from Costa Rica and asked about early check in. I emailed them directly not through a 3rd party. I was told to reserve the room for Monday too in order to be certain the room was ready for me. I didbook the room an extra day and then emailed them to be sure they knew I would not be there until tuesday and to please have my room ready when I got there after traveling all night. Well I arr8ved to confused looks and I quote "we maroed you as a no show so we dont have a room for you until 3pm. Just in from the tropics its snowing I have major medical things to deal with and then Im stuck with no where to go. The6 wouldnt even give a full refund until i threatened lawyers. Rented a room paid for it then they re rejt3d it to someone eose and tried to keep my money. Stay on a bench in Centeal 0park ijstead of booking here. Your odds will be better that it will be available when you arrive

So I’m usually not picky about hotels, I just turned 21 and booked to stay for 4 days, the view was definitely captivating but there was definitely some technical issues first when we arrived the window blind was broken so someone had to come up and fixed I called the lobby clerk and she said the window blinds are always breaking which he used a zip tied to fix it. The only thing that made up for all of this was the great view and location; I didn't make a big deal out of the bathtub being clogged, but it would fill up so quickly and the air conditioner wouldn't function correctly whenever we tried to use it. Overall I would give a 5/10 I really wished I could give a higher rate.

Don't let the images fool you. Property is not managed well at all, super old, dirty rooms, and their customer service was non-existent. I asked for a suite room to have a pull out bed and they never brought bed sheets, blankets or pillows. The phone in the room conveniently was not working so I had to go to the front desk multiple times to complain and at the end of the day nothing was done. The room was dirty with old liquor bottles and missing cleanliness overall. Do not recommend anyone to stay here unless the items above don't bother you at all.

The Bentley was just right for me. My wife was at NY Presbyterian Weill Cornell Hospital. She stayed for four nights. I didn’t know how many days she would be staying so I booked the room for 6 nights. Expedia and The Bentley were able to refund me the two nights that we originally booked. The location was excellent for the hospital. It was .4 miles from the hospital. I walked each time other than when it was snowing. It’s less than a 10 minute walk in a semi safe area. Housekeeping and front desk were excellent! Also, we had an issue with the light switch, which maintenance fixed immediately. Every employee was very nice and helpful! I will be staying there again!

Hotel was very close to the parking garage, and our Drs. office. Staff was very accommodating and friendly.
The only negatives were the noise of traffic outside, and the lighting in the room was very dull.

Hotel front desk staff was friendly upon entrance. We stayed for 2 days and brought our game system with us to play and we couldn’t access the ports because it was on the back of the tv which was bolted to the wall. We called for assistance and the maintenance man said there was other rooms that has a spiral tv that we would be able to use. He called the front desk from our room phone and said “get ready for this headache” right in-front of us. I asked if they can see if we can get switched if not that night then the next day. Front desk said they will get back to us and NEVER did. The whole point was to be able to enjoy our time, relax, and enjoy our electronics (as we have before at this hotel). We was willing to cancel the reservation and stay elsewhere but they said we would not receive a refund. All of this was about 15min into us arriving to the room after check-in. The maintenance man said it was over 100 rooms vacant. Accommodation doesn’t seem important to the staff for guest that paid for their stay.

The front desk staff was so polite. They greeted me with smiles, helped me find the parking garage and even upgraded my room for my birthday stay. The view from my room was amazing! And my room was so cozy. Definitely a 10/10.

Room reeked of air freshner/perfume, one bed had strong perfume and the sheets looked rumpled, though the bed was made. The other bed smelled neutral and had pressed sheets. I was too tired to object to the perfume smell, but it kept me up all night. The air ventilation system was very noisy, going on and off all night. If you are going to be parking, check out the location of the garage first -- it's not easy to pull up to this hotel and then find the parking because hotel is right next to the entrance ramp to FDR Drive. Free coffee in lobby only. Breakfast is overpriced.The perfume smell was a real turnoff for me, worse than the smell of cigarettes.

I found the staff to be excellent. I have stayed a five star hotels and not gotten half the service, kindness and friendliness that the staff at the Bentley provided during my trip. Always helpful and friendly. I had a problem with my heat and the engineer came right up and assisted me with a smile. Asked for an extra blanket, appear at my door in minutes. Other places could take up to 4 hours or more. Lovely location, close to transportation and local dining. A hidden gem!

Convenient location. Rooms are dated. Carpets in rough shape, room heater/AC unit loud and not working properly, no sound insulation in rooms, shower slow to drain. Stayed here several times in different rooms and the conditions have been similar.

My stay at Bentley Hotel was pleasant. I got an upgrade to a bigger room upon check in which was a nice room. Front desk staff was always pleasant. It took 6 minutes to walk to Sloan Kettering where my loved one was, so it was very convenient. If you are looking for things that need updating you will find them but for me it was perfect for my needs.

No hot water in room for 2 days. Water backed up into bathtub both days. No one cleaned the bathroom after plumbers left on 2 occasions. Air filter on heater looked like it was never replaced. Carpet wasn't tacked down in corners of room. Room felt dirty. Staff ambivalent. Never even called to see if conditions were addressed. Booked through Expedia who wouldn't help either. Never stay here!!!

I was a bit worried to stay here because of the reviews on google, but I am glad I did. From the moment I walked in the gentleman helping at the front door was SO kind and helpful. The Front Desk had great customer service. The room was clean and I had a wonderful experience. Not to mention, the restaurants nearby were SO GOOD!

Though small, I was impressed with the decor and the magnificent view. Also, the price was better than I would’ve expected.
On the flip side, the heating unit maintained a temperature of 78-80 no matter what it was set on. Even set on A/C! The shower temperature control didn’t follow the settings and it took about 15 minutes to achieve a reasonable temperature. The staff at the front desk was welcoming and efficient.

The property was not as pictured! The room was gross with stains coming down the ceiling onto the curtains from a leaking ceiling. The carpet was coming up and didn't even touch the wall. The beds are hard. We paid for a "city" view which we didn't get. I was not what we expected from the pictures.

The facility was fine, but there were exposed wires for the heater, the tv might as well had rabbit ears with how bad the picture was and just about every channel would pop up a blocked message. I called to get it resolved but nobody ever came. The wallpaper was coming off the walls. It just was not as nice as expected.

Stay away of this hotel!
I never write a review but I had to do it now: Noisy place due to constructions, claxons, room next door with lauded music and talks at 1.30am.The main light didn't work. The bathtub was plugged even when they showed up to fix it out. In the last night, a black stuff (oxide I guess) started coming through the shower and the sink. We had to ask that night for bottled water to try to wash our faces and brushing our teeth. The hot water comes after 15 minutes of running. Uncomfortable room: TV in the dinning side and the room distribution is awful. Staff was friendly and the maintenance guy came fast...for nothing. Super-over priced hotel. Old and super bad maintened.

I thought the bed was very comfortable and the room was nice. The toilet was not clean when I came in but one good flush got it done. When I turned on the bath there was dirt coming out of the bath faucet, as if it hadn’t been run in a long time.

There was no water for 2 nights, no fault of the property but our only option was to find a new room at 5pm on arrival- we had no prior notice. So we stuck it out but did not receive compensation for this. The water when working was lukewarm at best and very cold the last day. It was clean and convenient but the water was an issue throughout the stay

Probably will not stay here again. The heater did not work in my room during my entire stay and I had children!! They tried fixing it 3 times and then told me to pretty much deal with it or transfer to a one bed room. How could I consider sleeping on the floor after paying so much money? The rooms look old and outdated. No microwave in the room and the TV was a thousand years old. For it being 2023, this is the oldest, most outdated hotel I have ever stayed at.

Don’t ever stay at this hotel! Their rooms are filthy and smell like feces. We couldn’t access our room. The hotel refused to refund our stay even though we checked out 5 minutes after checking in.

Checked into room after a late dinner and the room temperature was 80 degrees. Tried to adjust temperature controls; no solution. In fact, the system made a loud noise and couldn’t be shut off. No glasses or cups in bathroom. A very poor night sleep for my wife and me. Never again will stay at a Bentley Hotel.

The one bedroom suite made it easy for use to travel with a family of four. Great location next to the Queensboro Bridge. The subway entrance is just a few blocks from the hotel.

Positive: Good value for the price compared against other room rates, friendly staff & lots of free bottled water, relatively quiet.
Note: I chose this property because I have stayed here in the past for work, and my room was beautiful and newly renovated. Our room this time was not. Disappointed it was different than what I had last time booking the same type of room. With that being said, I would stay again but verify if renovated or not at check-in.

Overpriced with no hot water.
No hot water at all during my stay. Paid over 600 per night. Hotel is a 2-3 star. Extended my stay with hotels.com and hotel told me I needed to leave my room a day early. No housekeeping service showed up on my 3rd day. Totally overpriced. Thought I was getting a Lexus and needed up with a beat up car w no AC.

very very bad, terrible experience.
it was not so good. First of all, we were not feeling very good, were with flu. although we wanted to cancel the room; the hotel or the hotels was not so helpful to cancel our room so we drove all the way to make our stay. it was a dirty room, a connected room which we almost had the other room people in our beds- so much noise, the toilet was dirty, the water was not flowing in the bathroom, it was all clogged, the hairdryer was broken, towels all worn off. A terrible experience, we wanted to rest, we even couldn't do that due to noise in the hotel. Our room was tiny and right across the elevator which dinged almost every hour. Terrible experience, never again.

The property was okay,I arrived before check in time and they allowed me to store my luggage there for free. The room was a little bit dated compared to the pictures which was one of the main deciding factors of even booking the room so I was a little disappointed in that. The view was a little skewed also being as tho I could only see partial of the bridge & water and construction was hindering the view as well. Another main point of me choosing the property. Another issue was that it wasn’t around or nearby much. The closest eating place walking was almost 15mins. It wasn’t convenient to really anything without using transportation so that was a bummer. I probably wouldn’t stay again due to those factors unless it was my last choice.

Bad customer service I booked two double queen bedroom they told me the upgraded me with a king size bed and a sofa bed they told me it's comfortable bed. but it was not. I slept 2 hours that night.
And this bathtub was dirty from your previous guest. Not even worth it 1 start. I would recommend you go somewhere else.

Low price, yet clean and modern.
Parking is cheap but a little tricky to find the entrance. There is a little service road off of 62nd just east of York, before the FDR.
