I liked the cleanliness of the property .The staff a the check in desk were helpful and friendly. The Draft Beer was a very nice gesture and it will help to keep us staying a The D. We stayed with you the last two years and plan to come back next January.Thanks.

Rooms are paper thin. Very noisy you can hear everything. They had a power outage from midnight till 5am. Didn't tell anyone. I sleep with a sleep apnea machine and I woke up because I couldn't breath. Went down to ask what was going on and the staff was very rude wouldn't listen to us and said we were all told about the outage and that we should have been notiyat check in , a call on the phone and a piece of paper under the door. We said we didn't get any of that and we're told they didn't believe us. Talked to other members in the hotel and said they were not notified either and they had the same response from the staff. That was the first and last time stay at the D. If you don't want any sleep that is the place to go. Room was gross and we had to ask for more towels ven though they were supposed to give us room service every day. Tv also didn't work and had to call and get it fixed. The worst hotel in Vegas.

Had a power and water outage overnight. Annoying not having water for a few hours. If had an early flight it could have been a problem.
Spoke with one man whose wife was in the casino when power went out, hard to get back to her room in the dark. Not use if elevators were working or not.

Not the most pleasant stay
When came in the room discovered a pice of papar saying it was going to be no lights or water in the room starting 12:00 midnight up until morning, nobody said anything before or at checking time.
I feel that it be nice to worn us with time ahead.

Room service only cleaned one of our room’s once. The other room never did get cleaned at all!! Check in time is 3 o’clock we weren’t allowed into our room until 5 o’clock pending an inspection !! Our room had fingernails behind the bathroom door!!

OK for a sleepover
Parking was confusing. Check in was easy. Both charging outlets were broken. The bedding felt plastic. The showers were nice, despite looking run down. The biggest appeal to this hotel is it's proximity to Fremont Street and the low cost of the room.

The casino is clean, staff is very friendly and helpful, but I wouldn’t stay in room 2242 as it’s right above the stage where they have live bands and it was so noisy that it was like they were playing in your room!!

If I could give zero stars I would!! Had no hot water the second day and staff was horrible to work with. Morning 3 I was informed that they would be shutting my power and water off for 6 hours in the evening, and refused to move me. Concierge women was rude and extremely unprofessional, conversely the gentleman concierge was very friendly, pleasant and helpful. Most staff at the front desk was rude and inconvenienced to do their jobs from moment one upon arriving. Definitely will not be returning to the D for any reason in the future.

I was really looking forward to staying at the D Casino and Hotel in downtown Las Vegas on Fremont Street. I checked in for my 2-night stay on Monday the 29th of January. At 2 am Wednesday morning, January 31, 2024, the medical device that I was using quit working. When I tried to turn on the overhead light, I found that it also did not work. I discovered that none of the plugs or overhead lights were working in my room.
When I called the front desk to ask about it. I was told that this was a planned outage and that it would last from 2-6am. I am 70 years old and here I was trying to pack up my stuff using the light on my phone to see. When I got down to the front desk, I was told that they had told everyone about this. I saw that there was a stack of printouts explaining about the outage on the counter. A stack of paper that I do not remember being there on Monday when I checked in. This was the first that I had heard about it and mothing was ever said about it when I checked in on Monday or I would not have checked in.
They did offer to let me move, at 2am, to the Golden Gate hotel. The oldest hotel on Fremont Street if I needed to. I have stayed at this hotel once in the past and found that it is really showing its age. I’ve stayed at Motel 6 when on the road but I will never stay at the Golden Gate again.
At least I was a local and could just go back home.

Great location but rooms were lacking. Our room was not ready for check in by 5 pm. When we finally were able to check in that evening it had not been stocked with basics or towels.
Noise, noise, noise! These rooms are very loud even with ear plugs. The area noise and vibrations of music from street below carry into rooms

I enjoyed the walkable area. I didn't hear any of the noise from Fremont street. I stayed on the 8th floor. I was able to relax. The room was okay. Nothing fancy but extremely comfortable. I would stay here again.

My only real complaint is about the bathroom in the room. The shower setup is terrible. The shower is partially open with no door/curtain which allows for water to go directly onto the bathroom floor. There are also not enough hooks etc. to hang towels or wash cloths.

The hotel was clean and right on Fremont. It was central and checking in/out was easy. Staff were kind and helpful. The only complaint I have was the water temperature in the shower, it only got luke warm, which was not ideal! Other than that, I have no complaints and would stay here again.

Stay Downtown - Stay at the D
Love the D! Location and staff are fantastic, zero complaints. Second floor has amazing bartenders - super friendly and attentive and fun. Long Bar on main floor is great as well.
Downsides are the music is very loud and easily heard on lower floors until 2 AM on weekends. Did not bother me but likely would some. Also, there are very few outlets in the room and zero spots to plug in your phone - and I don't mean no cords, I mean it's not possible. Had to unplug either lamp or alarm clock to find available outlet. This is a minor complaint but seems pretty odd in 2024.
Overall, I would recommend for sure.

I got a room with a king bed in it and a great view from our room. Fremont street wasn’t too loud at night. It was a nice room definitely will stay again. Sucks that there’s no fridge or microwave tho. Very up to date rooms. Would recommend

I was on the north west side of the building and the noise from Fremont Street was horrible... It felt like the band was actually IN my room.
If you are going to stay at the D, I recommend being on the southeast side of the building.

The clerk at the front desk upsold a room to us and said it was a “quiet” room in the corner. Room #523 was right on Fremont Street and a band played with strob lights until 3am both nights we were there and we got no sleep. We checked out early because of this. If the room isn’t quiet don’t upsell it as quiet and charge more.

Hot Water Harassment
We stayed 3 nights and overall it was ok. Hot water abruptly stopped coming out for a few hours which impacted our plans. We were harassed by a D employee in the parking garage because we sat in our car planning our trip out while trying to enjoy our coffee. We also witnessed him harassing other patrons for no real reason, he was very unprofessional. We paid for a premium corner unit and unfortunately its right about the stage on Fremont and on a night we just wanted to relax we had to endure the loudness of the band playing.

The D is a nice hotel very clean and the staff was friendly it was a little loud because there is a stage right next to it and my room was closer to Fremont street but the music stops around 2am but other then that it was great

Always enjoy staying at The D. Love the sports book. The rooms are always clean, and the staff is friendly.
Our room was right above the stage with a band playing. They were able switch us to a different room the next day.
If you're a light sleeper, you may want to ask about a quieter room when checking in .

There was a strong wind outside it blew right through the heating and A/C unit causing a large whistling sound inside the room that went on all night, inside both the rooms we booked, so this is probably an entire property issue im guessing, we can sleep to noises, partying going on, but whistling you are not gonna sleep no matter the time of day.

Upon arriving I was told the room I reserved and paid for in advance was not available for me (double queen non-smoking), as I was traveling with 2 of my children. I was advised as a result of their mistake, I could be placed in a 1 bedroom suite, (that still was not accomodating my needs) but I would have to pay an additional $100 more on top of what I had paid already. I was only staying for the night and declined the offer, besides, I had already paid for a room they failed to honor me with. I was them given a room with a king size bed, for three adults to sleep in. After returning to the front desk, they offered a rollaway bed for a king size room that was already cramped. I refused. After going through atleast four different staff members explaining my problem, and being made feel like I was in the wrong, I was offered the 1 bedroom suite at no additional cost to me, which I later accepted just to get sleep and be able to get up at 6am to get to the airport. This was a terrible experience and I can imagine the D defaults on honoring their room requests often and oversell more than they have in their inventory.

The rooms are old and aren’t cleaned well, the beds are uncomfortable, and the showers in the bathrooms are horrible. However, the casino floors are nice and this is the ONLY hotel on Fremont street where we weren’t harassed by people asking for money or drug dealers. Maybe they have better security here.

The hotel is right next to the Fremont Street Experience, where loud bands play till 2 am. If you want to have fun till 2 am, it's a very convenient place. But if you want to rest earlier, the loud drums beats will penetrate hotel walls and reach your ears easily no matter which floor, which side, and how far your room is. I had to play white noise at max volume in order to sleep.

The room had one wall that didn’t have electricity, TV, light, power outlets. Toilet and sink didn’t flush and drain properly. Sink took awhile to drain.
