The room was not in great shape (frayed carpet, stains on the couch) and the amenities were very basic. No wash cloth, only cheap dove toiletries in bulk. Good location however.

Room itself was fine except window outside our room had only view of construction but also a generator type noise that ran 24/7. They did get us in before check-in time which was nice.

Weekend Stay
Overall hotel location to the beach and other outside amenities was convenient. Hotel staff were pleasant and helpful. Hotel room was clean and spacious. Hotel bed was terrible when it came to comfort . My wife and I both have lower hip and leg issues and the bed was way too soft which aggravated our hip and leg issues causing pain throughout the night. On Saturday morning only one elevator was working and this was during a large checkout. We waited 15 minutes to get from the 8th to the lobby for breakfast.

Check-in was great. Valet Parking was great. Bed was comfortable. Carpeting was gross. All staff at the bar and restaurant were very rude. Pool was very cold! Beach convivence was nice

This is my second time staying here. It’s an easy Uber ride from airport with many restaurants in walking distance. Short walk to beach, nice pool area. I asked for 4 extra pillows and got 2. Also had 4 adults staying in my room and got 4 towels but 2 washcloths. I was facing the road with construction across the street so some extra noise. Very clean.

Traveled from Ontario, Canada. The hotel accommodations are awesome and the view of the water is amazing. ALL staff from pool to dining was 5 star. Will definitely stay again.

Everything was good. In particular, there were yoga sessions by Gabriel at 9:30 in the morning which I liked a lot.
The only complaint I have was the elevator. There were two of them but they were very slow. One of the elevator was then out of service and things became super slow.

Location of this hotel is great, very close to the beach. Parking is extra and quite costly. Breakfast buffet was good but also expensive. The rooms need to be upgraded. Our bathroom flooded on the first night and water was coming through the vents and from other places without our use. We called the front desk multiple times with no help. Finally the next day we were able to change rooms but met a lot of attitudes and rudeness from the front desk staff. Valet staff, wait staff and bar staff were very friendly and polite. Housekeeping also did a nice job. The hotel refused to offer any compensation or apologies.

The staff was great! However the hotel rooms looked old. The outlets in the bathroom didn’t work and my mom’s room leaked when it was raining. You can’t use multiple washers or dryers at one time or the breaker will blow. Maintenance had to reset breaker 6 times and took 3 hours to do laundry. The maintenance man was really nice about it. There are no balconies at this hotel. The restaurant was expensive and the food was not worth the price. $4 for a can of pop is ridiculous. The staff was very friendly though but I would not stay here again.

Its an average property, everything was clean and nothing to write home about but at this price point you certainly can't complain, you're on the beach ! The English barrier was a little challenging but you are in Miami and the people working there were all great

Pool was nice except afternoon sun us blocked. Elevators did not work and staff were not helpful or sympathetic. Had an 89 YO and a pregnant mother who had to get back and forth to 9th floor.

There were multiple damp spots on the ceiling, a perpetually wet part of the floor, no extraction fan in the bathroom, an uncomfortable high pressure shower and poorly adhered tub liner. All of this was honestly secondary to the paper thin walls that meant me and my partner awoke repeatedly through the night to door slams and sounds of plumbing from surrounding rooms not to mention the adjacent occupants. I pick holiday in for a clean, well maintained hotel with minimal excess, what I got was the experience that would shame a budget hotel. I am not even including the scrapes and scratches on every elevator and the walls and doors, as those are apparently being renovated. I literally left before my final scheduled day as I needed to get a good night sleep for an early flight and work the next day.

Not a safe place to stay
The location is amazing. The ocean view was spectacular. The room was mediocre. We expected more for the price we paid. We were assigned a room on the 9th floor and both elevators went out our first morning. We had to walk down the stairs to get to the lobby to exit the building. I’m a disabled veteran and it was difficult for me to make it down the stairs. What if we decided to bring our disabled parents? How would we have gotten them downstairs? Absolutely unacceptable.
Our reservation was for 3 days/2 night. The cleaning crew didn’t freshen up our room the entire stay, but happened to wake us up the morning of check out. What sense did that make? Also on the morning of check out the fire alarm was going off, but you couldn’t hear the siren from our room. I just happened to be going downstairs to grab the luggage cart and heard it while I was in the elevator. We will not be returning. We expected so much more from Holiday Inn. Upon further review, the elevator is past due its annual inspection. I’m sure that’s a safety hazard.

Horrible hotel
The staff is rude, especially Marie Anne (front desk assistant). The maintenance team was not helpful with broken item in the room. The staffer ls were fully aware of the problem with the shower but refused to help. I would NOT recommend this hotel.

Amazing for the price. Clean and easy access if you’re using Uber. Only negative is the extra resort fee and the $40 parking fee per night. Otherwise great location, close to great restaurants, and right at the boardwalk

Stayed 6 nights, we had issues with all elevators, of 3 only 1 worked most of the time. Hotel ran out of regular bottled water for 2 days. When asking for the Mod , always told not available, at the end found out she was the Mod all along. Cannot believe for this property to be under the IHG management!

I tried to check in at 11:30pm after a long travel day and the front desk couldn't create a key. They had a long running issue with the key generator and had no way of getting me a room. Eventually they sent me down the street to a sister hotel. I got to sleep at 2am. It was a nightmare!

Fire alarm sounded at 5am. Woke everyone up from the hotel to not use the elevators and to exit the hotel. To only find out it was a false alarm.

My stay was good. But I am disappointed with the lost and found section after my stay. I had left some stuffs in the room when I checked out and I called them several times with no response. So I had to forget it because I didn't have time to deal with it.

There was a lot of construction, it seems there were areas being renovated inside the property. It was clean. They provide in-room coffee/tea maker but no creamer, sweetener, stirrers. Would have been more convenient to have a quick-serve option for sandwiches, waters available in the lobby. There is staff and space for it, and there are not many options around the hotel. The Paradise Restaurant was good, with excellent service. But it required time to order. Overall, glad I stayed there as it was accessible to a nearby conference.

Quick getaway
Beds were very comfortable & cozy. Fridge is a good size to keep drinks cold. Bathroom counter was a great size with a storage shelf underneath. Perfect ocean and pool view from the 8th floor. Easy beach access. Found a very small pool bar on our last day, which we did not get to try out due to rain. Lobby bar was basic but fun. Carlo, our bartender, is a hoot! Go visit him! Breakfast is served until 11am, however, it’s dine in. I went to grab coffee to go and the waitress had to make it for me and said that they stop serving coffee at 9am. Really odd considering breakfast isn’t over until 11am. Hotel is about 15 minute drive to Miami & even though we had a rental car we ended up Ubering because of parking. It’s quiet on this hotels side of town. Next time we will stay in Miami to avoid Ubering. Most restaurants are in Miami. There’s a cafe & pizza place that’s walking distance. We did DoorDash one night so we didn’t have to get out in the rain and ate at the lobby bar. Recommend hotel for a 3-4 day stay. If a quick weekend then stay in Miami if that’s where you’ll be the majority of the time so you can easily walk to all of the restaurants and bars.

The hotel is right on the beach with a pool as well. There is inside dining options and a bar. The valet was fast and friendly. The hotel staff was warm and welcoming. I would book again.

The rooms are very clean, and fairly recently upgraded. However during my time the pool was closed. I arrived Thursday, folks said the pool was closed since Monday. None of the workers knew why or when it would even reopen. Wouldn't be suprised if its still closed... finally Saturday after asking multiple times the front desk said we can go to the Lexington next door to use their pool....
Due to flight delay, i arrived late to the hotel. I informed the hotel hours earlier that due to the airlines delay i would be arriving after midnight. I was charged a late check in after expedia informed me that i wouldn't. I informed expedia and they handled this, unlike E... at the front desk that gave me an attitude.
Besides the pool and some unpleasant workers. The hotel is nicely located, the barman at the outdoor bar wonderful and super helpful, close beach access, and convenient to and from the airport.

Worst Experience ever with Holliday Inn and Hotels
Hotels.com gave a price with all tax included, when I check in the price was totally different for more. Holiiday Miami Beach said that this issue is from Hotels.com and I should pay the difference to stay in the Hotel. I contacted Hotel.com but they said that this issue is from the Hotel.. So, no one helped me. The other point is regarding vending machine. You can buy water, etc only in those vending machine inside the Hotel. But all those accept only cash.
