Upon check-in we were sent to our room. Opened the door to our room to find it was already occupied. Went back to the reception. Staff was very helpful is getting us a new room. Came with us to check it out. After being in the room for a short while discovered a used condom and wrapper on the floor. Although the beds appeared to be freshly made the sheets did not appear to be clean. Once again the staff was very helpful but the cleaning conditions were terrible.

This was a beautiful place on Key Largo bay. Itsba quietb0lace but Snooky's, the place next door, provides great on-the-water entertainment! Best of both worlds! We really enjoyed out time.

Upon arrival and inspecting the room, there was a dead 2 inch cochroach in the showerstall. The room was supposed to have daily cleaning, which it did not. I had to go to the main office to request bath towels, hand towels, hand soap and toilet paper, several times during my stay. They charge an extra $25 per day fee for amenities but those were never available, such as a working telephone in the room or HBO that we never were able to get from day one(that is a big rip off and i would like to be refunded for that). This hotel has been one of the worst that we have stayed in and we will never recommend it to NO ONE. The only good thing that it did have was a nice beach, we will give them that but thats all!! Our stay there was VERY disappointing 😞

Hidden gem
Comfortable, clean, great location, quiet, easy access from the highway. Wonderful view on the bay side for sunsets. Having a Keurig in the room was a plus. Helpful to have frig and microwave. Would stay here again. Booked early and got a great rate

Friendly Place but Needs Updates
Staff very friendly; hotel is old but has attempted to update; beds and pillows need to be changed - flat and hard; website pictures MUCH better than rooms - room drably decorated - pictures show bright accents; web pictures must be wide angle - bathroom area very cramped - door didn’t close; asked to have new pump body wash since pump didn’t work - wasn’t done; some advertisements still indicate continental breakfast but there is none - great Starbucks coffee machine; no towels or sanitizer in workout area; assume area where outdoor furniture belongs to hotel but were never washed - had to clean ourselves

The room was clean and spacious and tastefully decorated. We especially liked the dock area on the water at the back of the motel where we were lucky enough to see a manatee. The environment was quiet.

Go here for the view and ability to use their bikes and kayaks…not the room. It was a decent value, but don’t expect much from the room. Everything was average, except water pressure, that was below average, and the outside by the ocean were above average. The rooms are similar to the lowest levels of Marriott properties. Would I stay here again? Probably, unless the courtyard had availability next time:).

Very friendly staff member. However room was a disappointment-no chair to sit in and no place to hang up a garment. Hard to just sit on bed! The view is poor but when we walked down to the beach area the view was great!

Adequate Hotel
The beach area offered a lovely view of the sunset. We enjoyed the Starbucks coffee machine in the lobby. The room was fairly comfortable and cleaned every other day (3 night stay). Unfortunately, the walls were thin so the TV and people in another room were loud late at night.

The room had everything we needed-TV, microwave, fridge, coffee maker.
There are more coffee options in the lobby open 24/7. The weather is cool so we didn't use the pool. There also is a small beach. They have a pier into the bay which was easily accessed where we were able to view the beautiful sunsets.

Pick a different place
After long travel day, room was definately motel quality not resort. Blind a few inches short to cover window, some mold in shower. Tv didn’t work! When called desk put on hold about 15 minutes . Called again and told would come by. Didn’t come. Went to lobby and told on phone to Comcast. Finally given new room, as far from old as could be. Shade and tv worked, but took over an hour to resolve…now after 9 pm. Final insult was the bedding. Bottom sheet, blanket, sheet on top…no cover sheet under blanket very disappointed.

Room was unclean, very dirty bathroom sink/drain with moldy smell! Bad mold smell every time we used the sink! Very low water pressure.
Floor was very dirty and unswept. Dust and grime everywhere, dresser drawer pulls, window frames, sliding door frame, door handles etc. Coffee splashes on the walls. Kereig coffee machine dirty. Safe was not working. Needed new batteries . Stayed for 3 nights over Christmas Dec 23-26 only had one maid service? Small shallow 3-4 ft pool, childen's size,
disappointing?Terrible for the price and we didn't sleep well or have a relaxing stay due to the uncleanliness!

Nice bed, clean room, close to restaurants. Was disappointed when I got in the shower and their toiletry dispensers were empty. I always carry my own so all was well. For the $ I wouldn’t stay again.

Everything was amazing with the property you can tell and he's a little bit of upkeep was very disappointed the bathroom door didn't shut all the way and when we entered the room try to flush the toilet it was clogged maintenance person didn't speak any English and did not understand what the problem

Our stay was mediocre at best. The property was adjacent to the road, which was quite busy, and we were awoken by roosters crowing at 3 AM onward. The host was friendly and welcoming. The complimentary coffee was tasty, but the proximity to the road and the roosters did not allow us to get a good night’s rest.

The property is very nice, & peaceful, but the room needed to be up dated. The bath tub door was stuck, the safe was broken, & the bathroom door & wall next to the door needed cleaning or painting, it had fingerprints marks on it, also the bathroom towels felt like sand paper

Pretty area within the property and conveniently located by bike trail and restaurants. Staff very nice. Unfortunately the power went out for a day (no backup generator) and the internet was out for 2.5 days (still out when we left) so no TV or internet use. Most places in the area did not have these issues (and Comcast said they had no outage there when I inquired). So for us the price exceeded the value during our stay.

Bayside Inn made a great get away for my wife and I for our honeymoon. Great location with plenty of shops and restaurants in walking distance. Staff was also very friendly and accommodating. I wish I would have got their names to give them a proper review, but I know the pool boy and front desk receptionist were exceptional. Only downside was the towels smelt like they were washed in the back of a Long John Silvers, but was a small price to pay for being in paradise!

The Keys are wonderful, except. . . .
The place we stayed at was great. The Keys were great. Unfortunately, the community chooses to have sheriffs and/or state troopers every 5 miles going down the keys. This isn't great. You likely need about two traffic people to fairly work that stretch and repurpose the others to do police work that either more directly serves the community or helps the kids. On our way back from Key West to Key Largo we counted 20 separate police vehicles awaiting a speeder. C'mon.

Great short stay. Front desk person was excellent! Upgraded us to Room 101 which had a great view and an outside patio. Spent the day relaxing and watched the incredible sunset while eating take out scallops wrapped in bacon from Snooks next door. Room was very comfortable clean and quiet!

The pool was so small that 10 adults was too many. The beach area and water entry was taken over by dogs and even the water was too dirty. Sat in the beach chairs for a couple of hours and left. We had no hot water in the sink and maintenance could not fix it. Not worth the extra resort fees. No breakfast and the coffee machine wasnt worth the extra fee. Totally disappointed. The staff were friendly.

We had a 5 star vacation here at Bayside. The suite room was beautiful and overlooked the pool and bay. The sunsets are stunning. The staff went out of their way to make our anniversary trip perfect. The location is great for dining options and convenient to activities. Definitely will return. Get room 401 or 402!

Would recommend for family and couples.
Lovely place to stay but not a fan of the $25 a day resort fee. Room was comfortable and updated. Other complaints were a loud AC, low flow shower, and a sink that backed up. The grounds were pretty and well maintained. The sunset over the water was beautiful. Outside seating was well maintained and clean. The ice machine worked well.

I absolutely love this resort! It’s the only place I will ever stay again in Key Largo. Rooms are renovated and the property is very well-maintained. Gorgeous pool and beach area . Walk right next-door for fabulous food and perfect sunsets at Snooks and a few other places are also walkable.

Hidden Gem in Central Largo
The Bayside was expected to be a quick place to crash overnight for a few hours after a day trip to Key West with a late return. (If you've never been there, don't do this! lol) I interacted with three different front desk staff at three times of day (noon, 2am, 10am) and they were all friendly and helpful. After checking in in the middle of the night, we found the room very clean and comfortable. It had all the amenities folks come to expect. The only issue was the bed was shorted one sheet, and this was rectified with a quick trip back to the front desk. Had a comfortable night sleep, and in the morning we had the opportunity to explore the property. There's on-demand coffee in the lobby (and a Starbucks a 2-building walk away). The waterfront area included a small pool, complimentary kayaks and several loungers. There's an easy entrance into the bay waters. Overall, very satisfied with what I found here and would definitely consider staying here again.

It was Great on Friday, on Saturday you had a lot of people who came in and took over the resort. They took over the pool area, no one could enjoy it accrpt them. They were drinking, cursing. Yelling. Theyvalso took over the pier area for fishing. I could not enjoy any of the ammeneties. They had cimplete control of all the kayaks So i paid for a weekend and was unable to enjoy the hotel. No one came out and asked them to keep it down or to allow other guests to enjoy the propery. Very disappointed. Do not think i will visit again

The hotel has a beautiful setting. The pool overlooks the bay. Perfect to watch the sunset The room is ok. The beds are no frills and the pillows are flat. The shower has zero water pressure but looks nice.

This property was one of the cleanest and beautiful places in the lower keys. What a nice surprise. The front desk lady was so nice and helpful after we decided to stay another night. So 3 nights close to many restaurants and we drove to islamorado for a day. Enjoyed our stay here and will definitely be back!
