My family and I were amazed at the very reasonable cost to stay at this beautiful establishment. Our suite had a kitchen, a livingroom, computer desk with plenty of storage and a Queen sized bed. Parking was very convenient. We couldn't hear any of the other visitors. Plus plenty of shops, restaurants and stores close by. The next time I am in the area I will definitely be staying here again. If you're in the area please pay them a visit. You won't be disappointed!

Enter at your own risk.
The room itself was decent. The bed was nice. The sheets were clean. The smoke detector in the room was missing. The windows were inoperable. The bathroom was the worst part. Everything metal was rusted. The shower ceiling had mold. Had I noticed it upon arrival, rather than the next morning, I would have went to the Hampton Inn. It appeared to be under remodel on the outside. I think they should have started on the inside. I would not stay there again.

Nice place cleaning needs more work
For the most part, the state was very nice. Read it at the front does each and every time the only discomfort was that I had my kids find condoms opened behind dresser in the room. Very disappointed with that.

When I arrive, I was told that there was no breakfast. It was advertised as having a breakfast. The window was covered, as the exterior was being painted, I was unable to see out of the window. The smoke detector was chirping during the night. The room was not cleaned the entire time I stayed there (5 nights). The kitchen was not equipped. There were stains on the chair seats.

The staff at the hotel was very friendly. The rooms seemed clean and were comfortable. There were some less than ideal odors in the building and I did see a mouse in my room on the last day right before check out. For the price very good deal. I would stay there again

Terrible stay....
I didn't think to take pictures of this hotel. I've never been so disappointed. First - NO lights on the sign and it is very difficult to find. The gentleman on the phone helped us arrive - but no wonder we couldn't find it. The fitness room - they should never call it that. It was filthy and had one 10-pound weight, one 25-pound weight, and one larger weight. The elliptical didn't work. NO towels, no disinfectant - horrible. The hallways smelled (and I can't put my finger on it - but it was awful - children up and down the halls. Never again for us!!

Appears property is under new management. At this time, big improvement over last year's stay. Will be a better judgment next year when I stay again, to see if it still holds its polish.
As for Staff, first person I encountered was very friendly, courteous and efficient. Second person, on checking out Sun 10/8, hardly had the time to look up off his SMARTPHONE to mumble 'whatever' he said. Hardly any encouragement to ever come back, but I typically don't get discouraged by discourteous people unless that's my only choice. Hopefully, that can be addressed.
Otherwise, very pleased with my stay.

Hotel staff have checked in room on behalf of me and when I came here they said there is no room available.
It was 3 am in the morning and I got basically stuck here without any place to stay. I am contacting Expedia and they have put me on long hold. I still update the review based on how it goes.
Overall very unprofessional and I can't believe hotel did this. Expedia gave me new hotel after talking for 45 minutes and got into hotel at 5 am.

Poor condition
Poor condition. Shower leak, toilet flush leak, electric socket broken, and improper condition as seen in the pictures. Informed the front desk and their maintenance service never showed up. Checked in for a night only otherwise would have looked into a better hotel option.

Not a good experience
The hotel was not understanding about their bed size, it looks like a full size bed but they stated that it’s a queen size. After few days, I found a dead mouse in my room which I express to change the room but they never did. The staff are not understanding at all and not flexible to the request. Will never book there again.

It was noisy....dog barking and children running in hall yelling. Parking was a bit strange, kind of like townhouse parking-limited. TV didn't get half the channels offered....mostly only got news, sports, kids and repeating movies old movies. Took forever to get warm water and then it was barely warmer than tepid.
Bed was comfy and the place was clean

Staff was good! The area had a lot of stores and restaurants! But I wasn't happy with the strains on the furniture, no silverware, pot and pans, dish detergent and no breakfast which is advertised.

Nice two bedroom stay.
It was a nice place for us. It had two bedrooms, living room, and kitchen. The room was clean but there was no tv in the living room. Both bedrooms had a tv but would have been nice to have one in the common area.

from check in to departure was terrible they called at 1:00 in the morning saying we were not checked in we had our keys if we were not checked how did we get the keys Saturday we went out came back we were locked out of the room we called about the TV not working that was a joke the sheets were filthy dirty towel under the sink people kept knocking on our door all hours of the night it worst exprience ive ever had

Staff was pleasant but the whole hallway and room smelled of urine lots of kids crying at all hours and lots of families arguing or talking loud at all hours speaking Spanish so not sure if it was arguing or just loud talking would not recommend

🐀🐀🐀 there was a rat running across the room at night, I left as soon as I saw that. I asked for a full refund at the desk but they told me to come back in the morning when the manager was there. I came back and the other guy at the desk mentioned it was his day off. I am still waiting for a FULL refund

Rats in the room
We were awaken to what we initially thought were chirping birds. However, after turning on the lights they were mice, rats, in our room. Told management we wanted a refund and they refused. Then requested room be switched, they also refused that. Instead they placed several rat traps around the room. So we moved to another hotel.

First, no USB port to charge cell phone. Worth pillows I ever had in any hotel. Old Towels. Checking staff very unfriendly. Cable TV kept loosing signals. At checkout I asked for a receipt I and they told me that I will get it by email, never got one.

Mouse, passed out man.
The size and layout of the room was nice. But the mouse poop on the bathroom made us nervous. Then the mouse running around the kitchen freaked us out. Our kids were sleeping we couldn’t change rooms, however the front desk never offered to move us. They gave me one glue trap and asked how big it was.
Then in the AM asked about breakfast because there was a sign that said complementary breakfast. But found out there was none.
As I proceeded to pack the car, there was a man passed out in a parking spot with beer bottles, tools and a motorcycle. Front desk said they checked on him? But he was there for the hour we packed the car and got the kids in and got the hell out of there.

Rats and Rat feces
RATS! 3 Rats ran across our living room floor, we went to the front desk and told them, they didnt seem surprised, apologized and moved us to another room. When in that room we checked around and found rat feces all over the bed. We slept in our car and checked out in the morning, even though we had 4 more days booked. Horrible, disgusting place!

Booked a 2 room suite and once we arrived property did not have any 2 room suites available, front desk agent wanted to give me 2 seperate rooms on different sides of property. Not feasible as I was traveling with young children. Outside of the property is run down, trash just sitting outside. Lots of people hanging outside by the halways entrances. So glad they did not have the accommodations we needed!!! Go around the corner to the Hampton Inn Cascades.

Room was overall good however there were bugs dead in a painting in the bathroom, gum stuck on the floor that I inevitably kept stepping in no matter what and the room stunk as well as the windows being unlocked on the first floor.

Overnightsl staff was rude and couldn't even speak good English. Asked for more shampoo and frint desk said they dont have any. Asked for new towels and no one brought ir gave any. Never staying here again and not recommend

This hotel is so outdated and falling apart. I reserved 1 room for my family of 4 (2 adults, 1 teen and 1 child). The room smelled awful, only had ONE towel. There were no bed sheets- the sofa bed didn’t have any fitted or flat sheets and was dirty. The bathroom door did not close properly. The bathroom light switch and outlet plugs were cracked. Only 1 bar of soap, and no extra trash bags or even an ice bucket. Every surface area was sticky and dusty, as if it was not cleaned in weeks. No housekeeping whatsoever during our 2night stay. Front desk at check in was not clear with communication. At checkout, no one was at the front desk. It’s almost as if no one works at the hotel. Not worth the $240 I paid WHATSOEVER. I would definitely not recommend, and would not stay again.

Room smell like someone pee on the carpet. The room wasn’t even clean properly. Bathroom door would even close properly. The couch look like it had blood including the paper towels in the kitchen were dirty. The clerk was not caring my husband told them about the bathroom door not closing right and he was just on his phone and didn’t seem like he care. The closet had bugs too.

This was billed as a nicer hotel. We booked a 2 bedroom, with 2 queen beds. Instead, this place is an extended stay that does not look nice and doesn't even have a second room. There's one bed and a couch. Checked their website again after looking at the room and talking to the clerk. This is false advertising.

Horrible customer service! Playing on theirs phones, taking selfies amd talking to each other was more important than waiting on us. I got charged more than I was supposed to for the room I booked for 2 days. Had to have key redone because it was only programmed for 1 day. Not enough pillows available for rooms. Cancelled other family members rooms 30 min before check in after already charging them for rooms. The hallways were dirty no sheets in rooms for pull outs. The water wasnt very hot. If I could have given a zero star review I would have. I have stayed at other Hawthorne suites with little to no issues, but I will not be staying at one again after this experience. This hotel is very poorly managed and maintained.

Front desk doesn’t know what they are doing
When checking out they overcharged me $875! The lady at the front desk had no idea what she was doing and instead of refunding the money continued to charge my card! It took over and hour for the manager to answer his phone and come and try to fix it. It took almost 45 minutes for the manager to fix it. I left over two hours after I checked out.

Their website promised a shuttle service to and from Dulles Airport. The evening clerk when i checked in Promised they would have a driver ready at 6:00 AM, So I could get to the Airport on time. The morning clerk said there would be no shuttle, and there never was a shuttle. So I had to scramble to the airport and pay for 5 days of parking. It was close to make it on time.

The wifi didn’t work properly. After asking the staff about it, it still didn’t work well. The Bessie lamp was inoperative, and wasn’t fixed after I alerted the staff. The bathroom sink dripped because the handle was broken. This property needs a lot of work.

If ok is good enough.
Our greeting was friendly and helpful. The room was clean, the bed comfortable. Repairs really should be made. The bedside lamp was askew, the tv cut in and out, the wall near the bathtub was crumbling, due to water escaping during the shower.
Checking out was terrible. The young man in charge had no idea of what he was doing. I’m not sure had the correct room, since the last 4 digits of the credit he mentioned (prepaid) were not mine! Could not produce a receipt. I finally gave up.

It was very close to our event. The check in process took nearly 30 minutes as the staff was having troubles with the computer, phones, attention span etc.
I got charged for my night stay by Expedia and by the hotel. I asked for a receipt at checkout but was told that the computer wasn't working but that my charge was $0 since I had already paid through Expedia and before I even made my trip home I had been charged again by the hotel. I called the front desk to dispute and was told it would be taken care of but I am highly skeptical after watching him at check in and check out times!

Room was comfortable and clean but an odor was present of fried fish probably from previous guests. Also, the small coffee machine didn’t work. Water was still in the reservoir. I emptied it, cleaned it, and it sounded like it would explode when I tried to brew a cup! The water didn’t pump through and I turned it off.

Serves the purpose of a place to shower and sleep.
For the price it was fine..the only thing, a bit lacking was breakfast…no OJ at 6:30..the hotel was minimally adequate..the outside area with the grill, not the cleanest appearance. It is nice to have a full kitchen and fridge if you need it.

I cant say anything positive about the stay. The room smelled awful, it was filthy, there was no hot water, even after being told it wouldnt be a problem. No tv, barely any wifi, staff were near impossible to find, breakfast was horrendous, multiple stations were out of service, even the bloody waffle machine was using spoiled batter. I wish I could get my money back

We booked two bed and went to check in we were told no two beds available ! We then had no choice but to take single bed and even then no pillows , bed sheets were available to adjust with sofa bed ! They promised will reduce the price as not able to give two bed and ended up charging me full price even though they did not give what was supposed to give ! Very very poorly managed hotel ! I would not go next time again !
