Call ahead to make sure all amenities work
I had booked this hotel, 2 rooms, because of the hot tub and breakfast. The breakfast was good, but the pool and hot tub were broken so that was a little disappointing.

The owner Minesh and his son made this a most pleasant stay. They went above and beyond. Took us to chase field when Uber canceled our ride to the concert without warning. THANK YOU SO MUCH

Not 100% clean but comfortable
Overall the room was clean. The bedding had some dirty stains on the pillowcases and some loose hairs on the sheets. Location was quiet but hard to find due to bushes by the street sign. Staff was really nice.

Not very happy with the hotel stay
The beds were hard and stained the coffee maker had coffee grounds inside the water department the bathtub was not handicap I asked for handicap room handicap accessibility it was neither it was just on ground floor needless to say we will not be staying at this hotel anymore and instead of a regular trash bag in the garbage they had a Walmart trash bag showing how their service they provide is very cheap the hotel room door sticks had to shoulder check it for it to open the door to the room. The main entrance door had to be pulled really hard to get it to open and I had to ring the bell on the counter to get any service cuz nobody was available and that was at 3:05 p.m. which check-in times are 3:00 p.m. even though hotels.com website States check-ins at 2:00 they will not let us check in until 3:00 that is what their policies there says and the refrigerator did not keep things as cold as a refrigerator should and the air conditioner barely worked needless to say somebody needs to visit this hotel chain on undercover Boss

Manager and staff were very professional, friendly, curtious, and accommidating to our needs. They were constantly on the go, cleaning and working. We were very impressed at how comfortably, quiet the are was. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely like to book again in the future.

Outstanding service for a hotel on the cheaper side. Multiple times during my stay back in April, the guy who ran the front desk (owner I’m guessing) went above & beyond to make accommodations for me; needing hangars, an ironing board, refilling the breakfast.
Not a luxury hotel by any stretch but great value for the price. If you plan on being out & about for most of your trip, it’s a great budget pick. Clean and had all the basics I needed.

i've stayed at this property twice and the staff is amazing always checking me in early after a long drive. the staff is nice and understanding that one is tired from a long trip and they get you in your room asap. the only thing i would say was wrong with this place there location, there a lot of people who live on the street. but ive never had a problem with them . in all i would stay here again because of the great hospitality.

Spotlessly clean and recently remodeling rooms. Super friendly and helpful staff. I arrived very early and staff checked me in. I somehow forgot my c cable fo charge my phone and front desk lent me one and insisted i keep it till i no longer needed it. Close to airport snd talking stick amphitheater. Nice pool.

Arriving at 9:30 PM, Could not see the sign on the building. It was not lit.
All parking spaces were sized for compact cars. Guests with full size vehicles did not have room, and getting into and out of vehicle was difficult.
Staff was friendly and very helpful.

Near the freeway. (good)
I felt unsafe. Homeless people across the street. The Food City had a security guard with a gun. The front door did not close properly. No real restaurants around.

The rooms were clean and the location was okay. The bed was a little too firm for me but still was able to get some rest. The gentleman at the front desk was very helpful and nice. Overall it was a good hotel for the price.

Great Hotel close to freeway
Amazing staff!! Rooms are recently remodeled and are very clean and cozy. My wife and I had an amazing stay while going seeing our San Diego Padres at Chase Field. 10-15 minute drive to Chase Field from hotel depending on traffic.

Took 4 tries to find a room with AC
First room didn’t have working AC. They gave me another room with only one bed but it did have working AC. Next room they gave me didn’t even have a knob to turn the AC on. Finally they got me a room with 2 beds and working AC. Wouldn’t stay here again. I would spend a little extra money for a better place if I were you.

So this was a motel (outside entrances) not a hotel (with inside corridors). No pictures to let you know this. Our room had been renovated but the paint needs another coat. Our room had a smell, like stuffy and the last people’s body odour. And maybe it was their body hairs still on the shower walls. We had planned to swim, but the pool was not inviting. Lots of siren noise through the night.

Recently renovated former Days Inn property was a pleasant surprise. The room was very clean and new appearing. Couple operating the hotel were very friendly and breakfast had a mini waffle machine. Convenient location next to I-10 but didn’t seem notably loud.

I stayed at this property for the price and location. I had to visit an inmate in prison and this place was close.
I did not like the rooms. Looked like the pillows were used by someone else, the trash bag from the bathroom was from Ross... The guy (I think was from India) who greeted us was very cordial. Breakfast was poor.

Decent place, pool/spa poor.
Everything was fine except that the pool and spa were not working and the manager sounded like they would not be in service anytime soon. The pool/spa area is also very small. Otherwise, good, friendly service, comfortable bed. They are in the process of changing over to a Days Inn franchise.

So good I stayed twice.
My room was clean, everything worked, and the bed was good. Check in was friendly. Hotel is surrounded by steel fence w/locking gate, so my car was safe. Can't really ask for more. A really good, especially for the modest price.

Worth your business
Stayed there two nights; stop over from visiting family in SoCal. Both rooms were clean, comfortable; everything worked, bed was good. Not the greatest part of town, but there was a gated steel fence around the property, and it's on a cul-de-sac, so I felt safe. Hosts were friendly, ready to accomodate.

The Property is going through a remodel when i stayed there, i love the staff they were very nice and very helpful. the staff got me into a room 15 min after i arrived and my check in wasn't in till 2 and i arrived at 11 am. they notice i was tired and wanted to rest. so, the owner took it upon himself to get a room ready for me as soon as possible. i would definitely stay with this Travelodge again. thank you, Travelodge by Wyndam in Phoenix, for your kindness

The person at the desk didn't seem to know much about anything regarding the property or process. I had dirty sheets when I checked in. I asked for clean sheets and they brought them up and handed them to me and told me how to make my bed. I'm not above making my own but, but this was at 2:00am after a lot of traveling and a bit irritating. They also had painter's tape over one of the fire sprinklers, the floor was pretty dirty, and it seemed like no one had actually checked the room before giving it to us. I get that things happen and we are all human, it just would have been nice have been removed or get an apology or something. Also, the security lock on the top of the door was missing, which was pretty concerning in the area that we were in.

Been here 3 times. Never a had a bad experience. Every time I come come to Phoenix I will be staying here. Oh and they remodeled the place. Only thing I wish is that they bring back the coffee pot in the rooms

Room was big enough with a great shower. Facility is a bit dated which was probably the reason it was under construction. It was quiet enough with very few guests that we could see. The surrounding area was a bit sketchy with the occasional people loitering around.

The manager of the hotel was very friendly and accommodating. The hotel was being refurbished. When we first arrived there was no shower curtain. The manager provided and installed the curtain quickly. The toilet was very low to the ground and did not have sufficient force to remove the waste products. The toilet clogged on two occasions and had to be unclogged. The floor of the room was very dirty. My wife was walking barefoot and her soles were darkened with dirt. I most likely would not return to this venue.

This travel lodge was disgusting! It had trash all around the property the room smell like mold and was very outdated and filthy. The lobby looked like a tool shed with trash in it. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to stay here even for the low price.

Would not recommend — much nicer hotels available
I felt the photos on the Hotels.com app was honestly false advertising for this particular hotel. It looked so nice and clean online and I really felt I was getting a great price for my 2 night stay. When my daughter and I arrived, it looked run down and out of business. It was not presentable with hotel furniture out in the hallways and common areas. Chairs, tables, mattresses and cardboard boxes of supplies all over. A huge dumpster in the back parking lot as you go thru the hallway. My daughter and I were honestly concerned about bedbugs. The tile flooring where the bathroom meets the area by sink was exposed, not a smooth transition. Room had an musty odor when we entered it. Has a microwave that looks like it’s from the 70’s in it, also a mini fridge. A tiny coffee maker and a hair dryer available. Staff was very kind and friendly. But even the lobby had boxes of supplies/furniture in it, wasn’t well lit, making for a very unwelcoming experience. Ended up using chair to push behind door because place felt so sketchy. Would not recommend or return to.

The property is under construction. There was construction material in many locations. No pool. The room was adequate. The banisters going to the 2nd floor had dried bird droppings on them. There was only 1 coffee packet. If you just need a room the place is ok.

The property was under some kind of renovation and there was materials all over the place. The pool was dirty and the jacuzzi was green. No amenities in the room just a bar of soap. Would not recommend this place to anyone else.

Chose this hotel for the location, free breakfast and pool. The location was okay - close to the freeway, but the neighborhood was sketchy. I would not feel safe walking around at night. When a hotel locks the lobby entrance during the day, you gotta wonder (?) The advertised breakfast was non-existent - not even hot coffee in the lobby. The pool/hot tub looked like they hadn't been cleaned for quite a while. We had a brand new tub in our room, so it looked like they were trying to upgrade their rooms, but everything else was old and worn out. TV had terrible reception/picture. Soap and shampoo provided, but no conditioner or lotion, little things you kind of expect to see. The mini-fridge and microwave were nice and the room was quite large with a small table and couch. Itty bitty bed pillows - had to request more. Be sure to request a room on the top floor (no elevator) away from the highway.

Unfortunately this hotel is not situated in a safe part of Phoenix, and my discomfort was exacerbated by the fact that my hotel door lacked a security latch on it (it seems to have been unscrewed off and never replaced). I relied on the dead bolt for security, but while at the nearby Poliberto's for a breakfast burrito, I witnessed drug deals on the corner of McDowell and 51st, and on the night of the 26th, access to the motel was limited because the police cordoned off McDowell in response to a casualty/fatality (what happened is still not clear to me) of a transient. The motel's signage has even been vandalized by taggers, and it seems the hotel is currently under renovations. My room was Spartan, but general clean though the TV reception was null (do not expect a digital connection as the picture is analog), and the wall paper is peeling, especially along the bath tub/shower. My room did have an old sofa that could convert to a bed, but old is the operative term: old and tired, and the flattened cushions do not give much support against the visible bed rails. The folks that run this property are certainly kind and trying, but because they can't do much about the rather sketchy neighborhood I didn't feel entirely safe here.

Won't be staying here any time soon. Property is in need of repairs/updates. Carpets are wrinkled up and disgusting. Bugs, etc. etc. Didn't even want to take my clothes off to sleep! That bad. Pretty sad.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was not what I paid for. I paid for a suite and got a regular room. The lights flickered and the tub wouldn’t stop dripping. The room was non smoking but smelled of cigarettes.

Good value for the price
This Travelodge was pleasantly surprising. The pros - easy freeway access to get anywhere you need to go in Phoenix, very nice management who listens and takes care of needs, good sized room with fridge, microwave and coffeemaker was better than I expected, no weird smells in the room and noise level low. (I had a 2nd floor room near the office. The cons - bathtub/shower wasn't clean enough for me, the hotel is pretty far from the downtown area where I spent most of my time. Overall, I would stay here again. Great value for the price!
