Good Room - Outstanding Value!
For the price, this just can't be beat! The room was very clean and well-appointed, the arrangement of lights in the room was excellent and they all worked, all the plumbing fixtures were in good repair, there was plenty of hot water and good water pressure. There was coffee service in the room. It wasn't perfect; if someone was looking for flaws there are a few, such as scuff marks on the walls and small stains, but, for the price this just can't be beat! No bugs, great heat & A/C, very nice shower (no tub), black-out drapes, comfortable bed and everything clean, orderly, and functional. The breakfast was meager, but again, for this price, I couldn't have been more pleased.

The front desk staff working on november 27th was very rude. She with held my drivers license and debit card over the counter when i was making a complaint about the payment policy. She was smiling while she did all of this .i spent the rest of the money my family had on this booking and this was explained to her while she was taking my license. She stated she was trying to be nice to me , as she was withholding my belongings over the counter . While i understand the payment policy , i dont understand how someone who works in customer service, yet treats customers so terribly. After my husband went back in to request a refund , she insuiated he was dumb by refusing to explain the refund policy and stating , " you dont work in this business , so you wouldnt know " im almost sure we arent the first to review this employee.

Check-in easy, pleasant staff. Room clean, quiet, comfortable ,reasonably well equipped, although had no towels or toiletries. good wifi but TV reception tenuous and remote missing. Small fridge and microwave, iron and board in room. Rugs in common areas in desperate need of cleaning.

The property is in a decent area; walking distance to restaurants, and stores. Unfortunately, there is construction next door to the hotel which does cause noise within the rooms. The back door has the ability give customers keycard access to the hotel, however, the mechanism isn't functioning. As a result, the door is either propped open by customers, or locked and customers must go around the building to gain entry.
The main problem I had with the hotel was regarding a lack of basic understanding of ADA law. The law is quite clear, you cannot ask for documentation or proof of a service dog's certification. Unfortunately, staff refused to allow me to explain the law. So, here it is: What questions can a covered entity's employees ask to determine if a dog is a service animal?
A. In situations where it is not obvious that the dog is a service animal, staff may ask only two specific questions: (1) is the dog a service animal required because of a disability? and (2) what work or task has the dog been trained to perform? Staff are not allowed to request any documentation for the dog, require that the dog demonstrate its task, or inquire about the nature of the person's disability.
My son has a legitimate service dog. He needs this dog for his disabilities. Upon entry to the hotel a staff member asked for the dog's certification. I tried to explain the ADA law to her. She demanded proof and then photocopied the training certificate to "prove to staff the dog is a service dog."

Room was clean. The glass shower door bumped the toilet, very small. The TV had "fuzzy" service. The room was adequate for the location and price. I only interacted with the staff at check in, very friendly. Coffee was good and hot, i didnt eat the breakfast.

Great price, and decently clean, definitely could use a new cost of paint on the walls, and new carpet. Had a slightly stale odor in the room, but nothing too bad. Staff was helpful and professional.

Breakfast was EXCELLENT!!! We were on the second floor, and there was no elevator so we had to lug bags up the stairs. Bed was comfortable. Sink faucet dripped all night. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Out of Order
First the soda machine was out of order. Then the ice machine was out of order. Lastly the water fountain was out of order. I needed all of the above.
Had to ask for a new remote for the TV. No big deal compared to the above. Rate was very nice and low. The room was fine EXCEPT like all hotels, the pillows are huge and painful to a person's neck. Unfortunately I didn't have my pillow with me so I slept poorly. The woman at the desk was very nice however.

Friendly staff
The room were clean but old. The room was very humid and smelled musty. Running the AC helped. Breakfast was nice but it was mainly carbs. The ice machine was out of ice. It was ok for a one night stop while traveling but would not stay 2 in a row. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The TV only had 5 channels the telephone didn't work.
The carpeting in the hallway was filthy what the worst was the homeless person that was living in the parking lot.

The hotel is in need of renovations. Bathroom had chipping paint; shower was losing top coating. Was told we booked a king size bed, but is was a queen. A/C took a long time to "kick in".

It beats sleeping on the hard floor
The man at the desk last night rudely stated that we couldn't rent a room if we lived in the surrounding areas, but then proceeded to finish our check-in since it was his last of the night. Apparently, it's their hotel policy, but since I reserved through an app I was unaware of this. I just moved in the area and needed somewhere to lay my head since my furniture wasn't in my new apartment yet.
The young lady at the desk for check out was pleasant, however.
The room was not up to par at all. Shower door didn't stay shut, so water still leaked onto the floor. Not enough towels (ie. only one hand towel and one wash cloth for 2 guests??!!!)The lamp on one side of bed didn't work properly and wouldn't turn on. Not enough outlets by the bed to plug up more than 2 electronics. Paint was peeling from the ceiling in bathroom from possible water damage. Bed wasn't soft but firm. It's okay for a short stay.

To pay $100 for 1 night for a small room with a low line bed and a nice tv that barely worked.
I also was bothered about not being able to stay there because of a radius mile issue which wasn't indicated on the 3rd party website. The ouside was filthy with homeless people letking around. Will not ever return

Ok for travel one night stay. Appears to be undergoing some reno, place id dated. Beds very comfy and clean. Second night there in past month as is a good price for our needs. One Night Stay
This hotel was advertised as "no frills" and that is exactly what we got. It is run down but clean.We spent one night there to break up a long trip over Thanksgiving weekend. The staff was very polite and efficient. The room was clean. The ice machine was broken. The shower leaked terribly because there was a gap between the door and the shower stall. The coffee/breakfast was not too good but there is an IHop right down the street. Overall it was ok for the 12 hours we spent there.

We had a group of 7 rooms heading to vacation.
I normally do not write reviews that are unkind but this needs to be said to warm other guests.
I do have to say within the last 5 years or so this is our 3rd stay and the hotel has went down hill so bad, this will be our last stay here, we will pick another hotel in the area.
One of our couples were moved to 3 different rooms, one had a large hole in the wall with mold, the second room had their luggage in and they were locked out and could not get back in, the manager came up and could not get them in the room either, the called maintenance and he finally got them in, and was told that either one of those rooms were not to be rented.
We had no blankets on either of our beds, luckily we had one in our car or I would not have slept, we had no top lock, nor did my parents in their room.
Another friend had trouble getting in their room as well.
Someone was in the lot playing loud music until way into morning, we all heard it.
Door is left open at end of hall so anyone can come in, we just wonder what is going on there, people sleeping in vehicles and oddness in lot, very unsettling, and loud strange noises in a room.
Sister had left her orthopedic pillow there, she called and said yes they had it and would keep it for her on her way back through, stopped to pick it up, no pillow and nice guy at counter no longer works there one week later.
I can go on, but I think this says it all, if I were you, I would go down the road a bit.

Not Much Sleep at Sleep Inn
I would not sleep under the tattered blanket for fear of the bed. Room showed wear and moisture damage. Hallway carpet was filthy. Desperately had to sleep and leave or I would have checked out. Fridge did not work. Ugh! Disappointing. Not the same as Sleep Inn chain.

Stayed at Sleep inn on way home. The receptionist was wonderful. The interior of lobby very nice. Our room was a queen bed - and it seriously needed to be upgraded. We didnt complain because the bed was what we needed. Carpet worn and not under threshold in bathroom - no switch cover in bathroom and the towels were old - overly used and one seriously had a hole in it. The price we paid was too much for the room - however it was holiday weekend so we let that slide.

Great staff, great stay.
Great staff, quiet and clean. Basic hotel, with solid beds, plenty of coffee, and a decent continental breakfast. Nothing fancy, but clearly well-managed with a committed and professional staff. Give everyone a raise! I'd left my wallet at my last stop and the nice ladies at the front desk cheerfully worked to get through it, check me in, and process my payment quickly but patiently, even though it was very busy. I'd return without hesitation.

This was hands down the dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed in. There were crumbs on the floor, dirt on the walls by the bathroom, sink was dirty, found hair on the pillow. You could not pay me to ever go to another Sleep Inn again.

Travel from PA to NC
I was traveling from NC to PA and decided to take a break from the drive. Plus it was night time and I don't do so well with driving at night. I was checked in quickly, got my room key and it was a quiet restful night for me. The room was clean. I was very comfortable. I would stay here again.

Horrific.. apparently this hotel has gone downhill since COVID-19. I was chewed alive by bed bugs with the next day noticing the clusters of bumps developing along my upper body areas, 35-40 of them that didn't heal until about a week later..
The star rating of this hotel is reflecting pre-Covid reviews.. Dont be fooled like I was..

I got in late and there were a couple of bugs on the bed. The room was overall just beat up and dirty. If it had been 5pm instead of 11pm I would’ve left. I don’t need any frills but when it’s dirty and you feel dirtier leaving in the morning, that’s not good.

It's a very old, no-frills motel. I appreciated the complimentary breakfast items and coffee. The staff was very friendly. The owner just really needs to spend some money at this point on some new, clean carpet, new cleaner linens. I mean clearly my linens were freshly washed, they were just so worn out. Bed was comfy.

I hate to leave a bad review but this was not a good stay at all- especially for the price. The hallways smelled damp and the carpets were dirty. We had to request a room change because our first non-smoking room reeked of cigarette smoke. Our second room was better only in the fact that there was no smoke smell. The carpets were dirty, the refrigerator was lukewarm, the bathroom was the smallest thing I’ve ever been in- only a toilet and a stand in shower only inches in front of the toilet. The shower door could not fully open because it banged into the toilet. The bathroom walls close to the toilet had whitish residue on them, there was no toilet paper holder so toilet paper was left on top of the toilet tank, the towel rack above the toilet was full of rust all over and the fresh towels were laid on top of that rust. The heat/AC unit was absolutely filthy- full of dirt, twigs, dust and leaves. Finally, the bathroom door was a sliding wooden panel with no handle, working lock or knob to grab when sliding the door back and forth. The woman at the front desk was very kind and friendly, and they did offer a nice continental breakfast spread in the lobby the next morning. I did not feel clean or relaxed at all. The dirtiness of the room had me anxiously wait for morning to check out and continue my road trip. I’m usually not picky and I try to not leave bad reviews, but this place was honestly terrible. PLEASE spend the extra money and book somewhere other than here.

It’s just okay
It was just okay. No frills. It was not was we expected, which was pretty much equal to a Holiday Inn Express without the breakfast.
It was a bit below our standards.
Glad for a comfortable bed to sleep in after a long drive.

Roaches. Half cleaned. Over charged for speaking.
Bedsheets dirty. Duvet covers dirty and stained. Whole hotel has NO hot water when I checked in so I know for a fact these things were washed in cold water only. When I noticed I immediately called hotels.com and still not helped. Charged for the stay from the app, a second charge from the hotel itself, and they held my deposit for speaking on the filth but they have done this before. They have roaches. Staff doesn’t clean anytime I have pics before my stay and after.

Skip this one. Go to the one a few miles away.
Charged twice after I was told I would not be. Now my account is in the negative $98!! Didnt even have hit water when I checked in so the sheets couldn’t have been clean nor the place like I said. No one notified me of the no hit water until I checked in after being on the road for 7 hours traveling there.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating of my special parking needs. I was towing a trailer from my car and they had special parking that I could use to accommodate my parking needs. The bed was comfy and the room was very quiet, in the shower it was incredibly powerful and relaxing.
