My two young grandsons were running to the elevator just being 7 & 8 yr olds, and the GM yelled at them!! Extremely rude and hateful! This was our second time back bc we really had enjoyed our last stay. But we wi not ever come back here!

Definitely won't be staying here again
The room smelled like somebody had just finished smoking a pack of cigarettes. The television would not get any service. The walls were so paper thin the people in the room next to me woke me up in the morning just by talking. Then to make the experience all that much more frustrating, I went down at around 9:30 a.m. to take a quick soak in the hot tub before hitting the road, and there was a sign taped to the door saying be pool and hot tub would not be open until 10:00 a.m.
For the nightly rate I paid, I was rather disappointed with the overall experience

Don’t let the price or the location fool you, this was a great place to stay!
The rooms were clean and semi up to date. I was concerned about being so close to a truck stop but it was super quiet.
The free breakfast was good and hot, with lots of options.
Would highly recommend and we would definitely stop here again, if needed:)

Not a quality location.
We did not feel it was a $177 room quality
The showers were damaged...walls looked like they were overheated at one point and were wavy. Very odd.
Paint job on the bathroom walls were not so good
Noise from the interstate was awful.
Would not stay there again for that reason alone.

It was just okay.
The lady who checked us in just seemed to be going through the motions. She wasn't rude, but not exactly friendly either. We were told that breakfast was from 6am to 9am only to find out it was actually 6:30am to 9:30am because it was the weekend. A full breakfast wasn't served either because of staffing issues apparently. The hotel was clean and there was a security guard on site which was nice. The room and bathroom are small but sufficient. The bed was probably comfortable when it was new. Our bed had a dip on one side from being slept on more. Would I stay there again? Probably not. I've stayed in better for cheaper.

I’d stay here again
Staff was friendly and room was very clean. Bed was a little soft for my taste but comfortable. Indoor pool was great. Had grandkids and it’s 3-4 ft deep so wasn’t worried about them playing in it while I just watched. Breakfast was bit of disappointment but some of it was ok. I’d stay again if I’m the area. It’s on

We had a really nice stay here. I liked that it wasn't at the main Joplin exit because there was less traffic and commotion around the hotel. It was right next door to a large convenience store with an Iron Skillet, Caribou Coffee, Taco Bell, and one other restaurant I can't remember the name of. You get a discount at any of these establishments by showing your key card, so that was nice. Everything was clean, and everyone I encountered at the front desk and all of cleaning staff I ran across was friendly. I can't speak as to the breakfast because we didn't eat there, but it looked like they had the typical hotel breakfast. Not many negatives, it is close to the highway so we did hear some highway noise overnight, but after the first night I turned on my app with rain/music sounds and that drowned it out and it didn't bother us after the first night. The fridge wasn't very cold, so we had use a cooler to keep our drinks cold. We didn't like the bathroom door, instead of a "regular" door, it was a pocket sliding door. If you opened it all the way it was very difficult to get back out, there was nothing to grab onto. All of those were minor drawbacks, and I would definitely stay here again if in the area.

We would stay here again!
This was a great stop for a restful night. The big rigs were parked next door and I 44 was near, but we never heard them even though the room heater was super quiet. The room was clean and bright. We appreciated receiving a discount at the next door Iron Skillet restaurant by showing our room key. The breakfast room and packaged (due to covid I assume) breakfast were dissappointing.

Sleep near a truck stop
This was our first experience in a Sleep Inn. We liked that it was newer than other hotels we have stayed in. We were surprised that it was at a truck stop. Our view from the window was many, many semis. Out front was the gas station.

Got there about midnight parking lot was half full parked right next to a pick up and car trailer just like mine and there was another truck and trailer there also was told I couldn’t park there I had to go park at the truck stop and walk back I refused to do so they refunded my money had to find another place I asked before I booked this time is it ok to park a truck and trailer out here she says it’s after midnight honey I dont care where u park

Nice place to stay. Only thing I wish they did was put their pet policy on the site. They allow pets but they can’t be left unattended so it was difficult to go to dinner or places that didn’t allow pets.

This is a nice place to stay there is currently construction going on outside of the hotel, so they are trying to keep everybody.to one side of the building. Even though it is right off of the hwy and next to a truck stop you don't really hear much in your room. The staff is really friendly and nice There breakfast is limited due to Covid. We will stay here again.

Generally speaking our stay was great, I was under the impression that we would be getting a Queen size bed and a double bed since there was 3 of us. Instead we received 2 full size, the fit was tight and slightly uncomfortable, (I should have asked for a different room with a queen). Over all the stay was great. Clean, quiet, and they excepted our dog.

We booked two double bed rooms to rest in before driving the rest of our 8 hour drive. I was so refreshingly relieved with the Sleep Inn after our last couple of stays with different hotels. The beds were great, the amenities were on point and if you forgot to bring anything like my son and brother, they have items at the front desk you can pick up. We had to get two toothbrushes. We got here late so we had to decide whether to go eat or swim (the pool is open from 10am-9pm)..eating won by a landslide...The Iron Skillet in the Petro Plaza gives 20% off for hotel key cards along with other businesses surrounding the hotel..some being 10% off on up to 20%. It was a good deal and was located within walking distance from the hotel. After deciding who was going to be in what room we were past ready to go to sleep. Through the night there was still a little room switching because someone was snoring too loud and another talked in their sleep...family stuff. Check out is at 11:00am, the free breakfast is from 6-9am..so after breakfast we got to check out the pool, hot tub and gym... fantastic and the breakfast was so delicious and plentiful. Best hotel I've been in for a long time!

Nice enough place for the price. Everything was clean. That's most important to me. The breasfast area was very nice as were breakfast selections. Your keycard gets you 20% off at the Iron Skillet next door.

Nice, basic hotel
We spent 3 nights here while visiting family. The room was clean but very small. The bathroom only had a shower, which was fine for us, but some people may be expecting a tub. Our room did have a mini fridge and microwave. The bed was comfortable for me, but my husband's preference is a firmer mattress. Our room faced east so it was away from all the semis parked overnight at the nearby truck stop and it was very quiet. It was probably noisier on the side nearer the trucks. Breakfast was fine with eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy and waffles available. There was also cereal, yogurt, fruit and a selection of breakfast pastries. The morning after we arrived, a hotel maid knocked and asked if we needed anything. Thinking that she meant towels, etc., I told her no. When we got back to the room that evening, the bed had not been made and the bathroom had our wet towels hanging where we'd left them. Evidently, if you want your room made up each day, you have to specifically ask, which we did the next morning. Other than that, we had a pleasant stay and would stay there again due to the location being near our relatives.

I had a great stay with my wife and it was very pleasant. I’m a trucker and the massive lot connected to the plaza is perfect for trucks to fuel up/ def up and park and enjoy the amenities of the plaza. The sleep inn was great for the price of $111.28 through hotels.com. And we enjoyed the great service and friendly staff.

Standard clean hotel. The front desk lady was very nice, even though it was rather late. Shower was big, room was clean, we did not get to eat breakfast, but the front desk lady was telling us all the breakfast food they would have available in the morning, and it sounded like a lot of yummy food.
