Georgia bound
Our stay was restful and stress free as always. The bed was super comfy, like sleeping on a cloud. Breakfast was simple but nutritious. This is our go to stop as we travel back and forth visiting family in Georgia.

The hotel staff are pleasant. We rested well and the breakfast offered was a deluxe continental style. The overall condition of the hotel is okay but it really is ready for a remodel as it’s looking weathered inside and out. It’s a budget friendly hotel.

It was not the property that was terrible but the interaction with Orbitz. In the process of making the reservation an error was indicated and I was instructed to begin again. The result was a double booking. It was not possible to contact a person or navigate the webpage to fix this error; not on the night of the service or the days after. A totally frustrating experience. Orbitz causes a problem and makes correction impossible. I have to rely on my Credit Card Company.

The fire alarm went off after bedtime and a fire truck came to the parking lot. It seems that an employee burnt some popcorn in a microwave and you could smell it through the building. Not good.

I was very pleasantly surprised with how clean and easy to access this hotel was! Right off the highway and easy to park! The staff was decently friendly but it was so quiet and the king bed was SUPER comfy!!

This hotel was easy to find, and the breakfast was passable. The internet worked.
There was a strange, strong odor throughout this very old hotel. The shower was stained, the toilet handle was broken. It was just an icky place.

Before choosing this hotel, I read many of the reviews: it appeared to be highly recommended. I was disappointed to find the bathroom sink drained very slowly, the toilet bowl had an obvious mold ring around the water line, and the floors were not up to par. But - I went there to sleep, and the bed was comfortable. Lots of places to eat close by. It also was half the cost of the other hotels in the immediate area. They offered a decent breakfast (only hot food was Waffles, bagels or toast).

Totally acceptable no frills overnighted. Basic amenities. Somewhat noisy with no white noise ability. Breakfast could use a significant upgrade on cleanliness and attention to detail. Easy access.

Hotel Is Just Ok
Check in was good but I asked at check in could I have a late check out and was told yes. However, on check out day, I had knocking on my door one hour earlier than I was told saying it is time to leave. Also, the key was deactivated at that time also. I didn't appreciate being told one thing and they not abiding by it.

Do not stay here . . . it is in one word filthy. Out of the three rooms we had two were definitely subpar in cleanliness & the third had to be changed due to next level filth found in the room. Out of the three front desk staff we interacted with two were fine & one was unfriendly. Although we did not eat the breakfast offered, our co-workers did & reported not that great & decided to eat breakfast offsite the remaining days.

We needed a place to sleep while traveling. In at 8 out in 12 hours. It was not a perfect hotel but it was clean and comfortable it all we needed. The staff was pleasant and the breakfast was the perfect start to our day.

Check in staff was unfriendly. Room needs updating. we stay here often because it’s convenient when we visit friends but the smell of cigarette smoke is disgusting and it’s all in the hallways and sometimes even in the room. May be time to consider a new location.

My room are beat up and run down, though it was clean. The HVAC unit was loud and cycled on and off every 15mins all night long. Smoke detector appeared to be missing with wires hanging from the ceiling. Breakfast was disappointing at best and the coffee was undrinkable. Building is dated and definitely shows its age.

Happy with our stay
Building didn’t smell like a hippie fest. Pretty quiet. Beds and bathroom were clean. It was very comfortable. My 10 year old and I were very happy with our stay.

This place is beat, was put in a handicap room on fourth floor. There was nasty stains all over the walls and carpet. hairs in the tub and bathroom. Honestly the place made me nervous. Odd that it has an 8 rating. Just got up and left in the morning never to return. PS Home Depot sells paint

Ratings are highly inaccurate. Should be a 3.8
Walked in, instant grungy feeling. Open bathroom door, literally feces and urine on the toilet, and floor, dust everywhere, feet sticking to floor. Let front desk know, they switched us rooms. Room 2 almost equivalent to room 1, minus the urine and feces. Overall, very unkept, aged and not well taken care of.

Clean rooms, friendly staff
We checked in around 11:30pm, the staff at the counter was very friendly and got us set quickly. The room was exactly what we needed, nothing fancy but clean and tidy. The breakfast buffet was standard fare; bagels, cereal, waffles, yogurt, juices, fresh fruit, coffee, and tea. The overall experience was exactly what we expected and we were pleased with our stay.

We were coming to the area for Carolina Renaissance Festival. We wanted a reasonably-priced hotel room with our primary concerns being safety and cleanliness. This hotel met both of those standards. The facility and our room were clean, beds were comfortable, and amenities were fine for a one night stay. The hotel advertises hot breakfast, which is technically correct because they offer a waffle maker on the breakfast bar. Otherwise, it was bagels, yogurt, and cereal. So if hot breakfast is important to you, you might need to visit the nearby restaurants. All in all, this hotel was a good pick. For anyone curious, it was roughly a 35 minute drive to the festival.

Comfortable stay, comfortable bed. Room could have been a bit cleaner, found old soap in the shower and lots of stains on the carpeting. Air conditioning was fairly new and quiet. Which is always a plus. Hotel near lots Of restaurants and gas stations but Tucktaway in a quiet location. Overall OK stay for the price and which day again.

For the most part access to Main Street shopping/food area, easy access to interstate road.
Free breakfast and parking. They didn’t have crib available for baby.
Went baby was crawling on the floor we notice his socks were dirty but overall it was clean. Lobby has a welcoming environment.

Was not expecting to be put in a handicap room. Not pleased. Disappointed with breakfast. Limited choices. If you like nothing but carbohydrates for breakfast, it would be fine. Coffee tasted terrible and yogurt did not taste good. My wife and I could not drink the coffee, and yogurt was discarded after two bites.

The property is nice and clean.
The only thing we found is the outlets on the lamps are warn out. couldn't get any power for my phone charger.
we needed to use the outlet in the bathroom to charge our phones.

Very clean, friendly staff, we were very happy with our room.
Disappointing breakfast. No protein was offered. Only white tasteless bagels for bread. Non brewed coffee. Old wilted oranges. I ate Raisin Bran and yogurt. My husband ate nothing.

I was given a room that reeked of cigarette smoke. The helpful desk clerk gave me a different room, which at first seemed better, and was, but my nasal passages flared up in a few minutes and it irritated my throat. I stayed at a B & B the previous night with no problem. Something is not good about the air quality. Also, the room has dings, worn out things, and unknown stuff in a couple places stuck to the wall. It very obviously needs to be painted, also. These are signs of lack of care in keeping the condition good. I believe it was cleaned appropriately. No hair, dirt, etc. It bothers me to spend $100 to have my nasal passages inflamed. I won’t ever return.

Overall, our overnight stay was very good. The room was very basic but comfortable. The only complaint I might have is the size of the bathroom. It is a very tight squeeze when taking a shower.

Clean and Comfortable Stay!
Our stay at the Sleep Inn at Statesville was more than pleasant, with it being clean, a comfortable room and bed, and excellent TV choices. My only issue is the free breakfast lacks the eggs and sausages provided by similar hotels for this price along the highways.

Ok place. Front desk helpful and friendly. Room needs more attention from housekeeping. Dust build up on lamps Sheets we're clean but stained. Buy some new ones.. Otherwise satisfactory. Would stay here again.

Checking process was great but as soon as we entered the room we were disgusted with the cleanliness of the room. The window curtain was stained, the carpet was also stained but the worst part was when i entered the bathroom and noticed the toilet with dry urine stains with pubic hairs. I felt disgusted. i called front desk and we were placed in a different room. The new room still had carpet stains but at least toilet was cleaned.

Great place, great value, great staff!
The road was closed down with traffic light problems, and cops were directing us away from our gps directions were telling us. We could see the Inn from the road but could not get to it, the staff gave us great directions by phone, and everything was clean, friendly, well stocked, and a joy to stay in. Would definitly stay there again if in the area

There’s a reason a room is under $100. But I will say, staff was as helpful and as accommodating as they could be. We checked in late on a road trip, settled on the 4th room due to a/c and cleanliness issues and first time ever left in the middle of the night due to hotel conditions. They are supposed to be refunding for our rooms. The Fairfield next door is where we ended up, it was top notch!

Walls were dirty, looked like blood on them. Bathroom door was scratched up byhsndle.
Refrigerator wouldn’t hold bottles, everything kept falling out. Lobby and all rugs were gross. Never stay there again or recommend.

We booked room on Expedia for a king. Got to hotel and given queen basement floor. Handicapped room. Carpet and ceiling nasty! Otherwise clean. Musty smell to the room.
