Clean rooms
Shower door leaking to floor issues, coffee was on bath sink, which didnt leave room for us to get ready. Hair dryer didnt fit holder well and kept falling. Everything else was great. Clean rooms and plenty of towels.

Clean, comfortable room, smaller than some others but very nice. Staff was courteous and efficient especially the women at the breakfast buffet. Parking was very convenient too. I enjoyed 2 one night stays and returned for the second about a week after the first because I was impressed. Would try other Sleep Inn properties based on my good experience in Lynchburg.

It’s a pretty standard mid-range hotel, and I would have rated it higher if not for two glaring omissions:
- the main staircase - the one they feature prominently on their photos - is disgustingly dirty. Not a little dirty - it’s so dirty I wanted to go around it. The rest of the hotel is pretty clean, if a bit dated.
- there are no sidewalks anywhere, nor there is a crosswalk to get to LU. I mean, it’s right there, across the street! Why not give people an option to walk to Liberty instead of driving? Granted, it’s not strictly in the hotel’s purview - but the hotel is owned by LU, and LU can make things happen in Lynchburg if it wants to.

I guess you get what you pay for -- the person at the front desk was NOT into customer service. Stair and hallways had cracked / broken walls. While my bed was clean, the bathroom sink was dirty from the LAST guest. But again, maybe this is what you get for $82 per night.

The place was clean and they were friendly people, the only thing I didn’t like was that when I went online using your Internet, I got hacked, and somebody in Myanmar was trying to buy a pistol with my card, and then someone else was trying to buy a bunch of really rotten stuff on the black web. I just knew I should not have used your free Internet. I should’ve just linked my iPad to my phone.

Upon check-in we learned our reservation was for a Handicap Accessible room - we did not need (or request) this type of room, but that's where we stayed. It was on the 3rd floor. Shower was inside a bathtub, lots of grab bars and accessible seating if needed. The bed (king size) was ready to be replaced, it wasn't "past it's time" but very close, so the bed could have been better. No microwave in the room - not a huge deal, but it was missed.
The property overall felt C to B- to us. The ratings we read prior to booking gave us a higher expectation of what we experienced.
The breakfast selection was certainly C We're giving this a "Average" rating

Okay, but not the best
Hotel was acceptable, but not great. Room smelled musty and felt damp when we arrived. Running the AC reduced the dampness. Breakfast was good, with several choices. Room was clean, bed wasn’t the most comfortable but okay.

Safe, comfortable night’s rest
We booked the hotel for the VIR Race. It is 1 1 1/2 hr drive away from the VIR track but the trip was worth it because the hotel is in a safe bustling college town. Very easy check in. Friendly front desk clerk. All the necessary amenities like shampoo and conditioner are supplied. Coffee is available 24/7. Walmart is only 5 mins away and there are plenty of shops and restaurants near by. Hotel is good quality for a reasonable price. Bed was comfortable, perfect room temperature with air conditioning that works, refrigerator to keep our food and drinks cool, decent breakfast and easy check out.

Go Elsewhere.
When we checked in the room we were given had a strong urine smell that was present the moment you entered the room. We got a different room that was better, but not by much. When the air conditioner came on you had a 30 second blast of air that smelled of mildew. It was late, we were tired, and we got used to it. Overall, very worn. Needs more people and a makeover. We will not stay there again.

The room was pretty, clean, and comfortable. However, it was very tight for a family with two teen boys. Smallest bathroom and shower! But, clean and comfortable. Staff was wonderful, especially the breakfast attendant. Very conveniently located near everything.

The one thing I did not like about my stay was the television. Every time I turned the tv on, I had to set it to the correct HDMI channel to get reception..... that was a bit annoying and it needs to be corrected. Thanks

The clerk at check in acted like I was bothering him. I even asked him what put him in such a bad mood. I then get to my room and the toilet had not been flushed and there were dead bugs in several spots near the window. I would demand being reimbursed for another night but don’t think I could even give this place another chance.

Tires on luggage carts were not properly inflated making it difficult to roll when fully loaded. Bathroom sink drain had a leak which we did not report until we checked out since we did not want our privacy disturbed during our stay.

I have never in my life waited in excess of 5 minutes (literally videoed 3 minutes of it) without anyone showing up at the front desk. If I hadn’t prepaid, we would have left… and I wish we had. Toilet not bolted to floor; fridge smaller than pictured; stairway carpeting the most disgusting I’ve ever seen; shower door that opens inward so you have to be completely inside it to start the hot water; and my favorite, housekeeping knocking on our door at 9am despite having the privacy sign on the door. Check out time was 11, so….

Great breakfast! Clean stay. Nice location. My complaint is it can use a few touch ups. Comfortable bed & pillows. Glad to find the room fast when we couldn’t use our Airbnb reservation. I would rate it a 9 out of 10.

First visit to Lynchburg
Our stay was very comfortable. Hotel was convenient to locations where we needed or wanted to be in Lynchburg, as we were in town for a family gathering. The staff was very responsive, helpful, and polite.

Great stay for a few nights
The staff, hospitable and accommodating. Rooms clean & presentable. Strangly, rooms are not cleaned daily only supply of towel and toiletries.
Daily breakfast was great. Waffle making option, hot eggs, sausage & bacon among other things. The use of thin paper plates was least desired.
Free on spot parking was excellent.

People were great! Room, not so much.
People at the desk and maid were wonderful! Breakfast was fine. The room, not so much. There was an electrical outlet on one side of the bed but not the other. We both hava CPAP machines, and I had to string my machine's electical cord plus the power strip I fortunately brought with me to an outlet on the other side of the room. Also, no lamps, just a large light on the ceiling running from one side of the bed to the other. No way for one person to try to sleep without light directly overhead if another wants to sit in bed an read. Weird shower faucet; difficult to figure out. Even though the people were great, we will not be staying here when we come back next summer.

The staff were all very friendly & helpful. My room smelled like fresh sheets & was extremely clean. The carpet in the hallways could have used a cleaning, but, as a hotel, I imagine it's impossible to keep clean all the time, so this wasn't a big deal to me. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

College family weekend accommodations
The hotel was not new or fancy but it was clean and clean and overall comfortable, and the staff were attentive and friendly. Because of the proximity to the road in our room, being near the elevator, we expected it to be rather noisy, and were pleasantly surprised to find that was not the case. Would stay there again.

Extremely well maintained hotel with great staff. They did everything too prevent you from getting Covid. The only issue and it was small, the vents in the heating system in the food area were dirty

The hotel itself was nice. Our room was a little rundown, but clean. Breakfast was really nice with both hot and cold options. Overall Lynchburg itself was not a city we enjoyed or will visit again. It seemed very shady in safety overall.
