Cool Hotel, even cooler hot water
The hotel staff was incredibly friendly and checking in was super easy. Everything was very clean and the stay was almost perfect except for my one complaint with this hotel. I've stayed here several times and the problem never seems to be remedied and that problem is that the hot water in the shower is nowhere near hot enough. Granted I like my showers really hot but this was barely above considerably warm. I tried it three different times hoping that maybe the tank was just empty but they all turned out the same. By the time I was through drying off I was shivering with the room temperature up to 74.

The staff here were super friendly and one can tell they actually enjoyed their job. The rooms were clean and the area was quiet . I would recommend this place and use again for future trips.

Comfortable, quiet stay
Second time staying here, and both times I was pleased with how friendly the staff was. At the check in and the lady who did the breakfast.
For a “older” hotel the room was in good shape and very comfortable

The room we were given, opened the room door to find a room that had not been serviced. Not even sure if someone may have been in the room. We were given a different room and assured by the desk clerk that the room would be comped due to the bad experience. That turned out to be a lie.

The room was small and bathroom even smaller. They cleaned the room one day, took the dirty towels but didn't replace with clean ones. Had to get a new key card every night cause it wouldn't work. When rained, the third floor roof leaked. No pool which you will miss in the heat.
Check in staff was very friendly. Will be going to South Carolina often and won't stay there again.

the room was half cleaned and had gnats all over the sink. they didn’t have another room to put us in. front staff stated we would be able to have late check out the following me , we was harassed by morning staff due to the check out time . the staff have NO good customer service

Really good value and pleasant stay
The hotel is really good. Beds were comfortable. Good value for what is provided, which included good breakfast options. The only complaint is a really loud bathroom vent van and squeaky sliding bathroom door.

Great place to stay for the night. Went to dinner at the Back Porch with delicious food. Great location off the interstate. They utilize DD people for their cleaning staff - which is wonderful. However they congregate in the breakfast room before breakfast is over, which makes no room for the guests. It would be best if they had them meet in a conference room before they start their shift.

Some Like it Hot
we checking in on Friday around 4:30 PM. The young man was very nice and friendly. He answered all my questions. The young lady the next morning was the same. The young lady that put out the breakfast was nice and accommodating. That was a problem with hot water but it was fixed unfortunately after my shower. Buhhhhr (lol).

Very clean, could benefit from some updating
Checking in was super quick and the gentleman at the desk was really sweet. The rooms are in need of updating, but what caught my attention was that although our room was older and worn, it was still very clean. Not a hair was to be found on the bathroom floor. The shower was the same way! It was a glass door and there was no soap scum. The room smelled nice, and it felt homey. It was quiet and no shady characters hanging around. I’d definitely stay again.

The hotel was ok, beds comfortable. Bathroom was kind of dirty. But the service was incredible, super friendly and attentive. The breakfast was so nice when traveling with kids. And even the kitchen attendant was extremely friendly and kind and made sure we had everything we need. For the cost, this exceeded my expectations

great stop except two issues:
1) hot water was just warm water at 8pm .. disappointing but adequate
2) luggage cart was missing fastener on top rail allowing it to separate from frame. Good news - luggage cart available. Should be fixed: obvious maintenance issue, so easily fixed, but not.
Property is otherwise great and half the price of newer facility across the interstate. Great location. So much potential.

The staff were amazingly helpful and friendly. The breakfast items were ok, except the gravy was very watery. There were bugs in the room window. I would stay here again just because I appreciated the staff.

Breakfast was great. Pam was so nice and helpful with our breakfast. Our room was clean, but something sticky on bathroom floor but we never reported it, since we were coming and going while there. Beds were nice and clean and slept very well. Have stayed her many time because we have a sister who lives only 2 miles from her house. Very convenient for us.

This hotel was ok. For the price I didn't expect much. Just generally run down and could use a refresh. The room was generally clean, but I did see a roach crawling in the coffee cup, the bed was sagging on one side, and there was a terrible smell in my room.

Overnight Bad Dream
My family was only there for one night. There was not a good first impression. There was a loud confrontation in the lobby area which made us feel uneasy. Not the fault of the hotel. The receptionist did ask them to quiet down. The walls were so thin that we slept with the A/C fan on to cancel out the noise from other rooms. The room could do with a deep clean. There was hair hanging from the water sprinkler in the ceiling. The tiles in the bathroom floor were loose.

The young gentleman working the night shift at the front desk upon arrival was outstanding. He was so friendly and made every effort to check us in promptly and provide great service. Unfortunately, whoever manages this property left him unprepared. The staff before him took the remaining rooms of the type we paid extra to book (king) and the ones that were vacant had dead batteries in the door handle so we ended up in a single queen room. The room was clean enough except the bathroom hair dryer had a greasy handle with curly hairs on it. Yuck! The mattress wasn’t all that comfortable but the linens were. Plenty of space in the room and bathroom for what we needed.

Could be better, could be worse
The guy at check in was very nice and respectful. As for the room, the shower head/water pressure was the only thing really going for it. But the room was not that great. Possible mold on the wall and shower. Room smelt like pot/weed. It did have all the amenities in the room (fridge, microwave etc.) but we didn’t use any of them. We got a double queen room and there was only 1 pillow per bed, which was weird to me. I have stayed in a lot of hotels, and some much worse than this one. I would give this one a 6 at best, not the 8 it has.

Great stay for the money
Hotel was fairly new, clean and accommodations were very good. Towels were thick and soft for a 2.5 star hotel. Breakfast buffet closed due to Covid. Mattress seemed firm but woke up with a little backache.

I believe the property was fine. I’m frustrated with checkin because I reserved this room for my parents on Expedia. I chose the option where payment would be taken at the time of checkin so that they could pay separately from the card I put on file to make the reservation. Instead my card was charged. I don’t believe my parents were asked if they wanted to pay with a different card.

This is a great place to stay when you just need a place to sleep. It is very clean and well kept. They have a free breakfast that includes a lot of different items. This is not a fancy place with a pool and pretty views, it is an immaculately clean place to rest your head when travelling.

Convenient spot for Masters Tournament
Great location for the Masters - no problems at all. Room was comfy, neat and clean. Solid complimentary breakfast each morning. About 15 minutes to the course. Overpriced for the tournament, but everywhere else is, also. Will stay here again.
