The hotel was for the most part clean but it was very dated. Looks like they tried to update it but didn’t pay attention to the details. The breakfast was not the best for a 3 star hotel. It worked for what I needed, but I don’t think I would pay to visit u til they have fully updated the hotel.

Great location, staff and bed!
Great location. Super staff. Breakfast was blah. Bed was great. Desk chair in king room was terrible. Almost flip backwards when you sat down. Over all it was a good place to stay.

Very Good, but not as good as "Wonderful" reviews
Good clean hotel above average. But the 9.2 'Wonderful' review seems exaggerated. I chose this hotel over others at a lower price to see if it was really that good. Don't bother, its the same and you can save your money with others. Maybe some shill reviews going on here?

It was very clean, and the people working there were very nice. Because of a nearby mall and outlet mall, it was difficult to get in and out. Of course, if you are a shopper, it will be heaven. Room is not the largest, but we needed it for 1 night while traveling. Perfect.

We ( me husband and adult daughter)had to come to Tampa on emergency and our flight got in sooner than we anticipated. I am aware that the hotels do not have to let us check in early, I asked because we were exhausted! My daughter had her own room and was told that there was no way she could check in early, but the same attendant told my husband and I that we could check in at 2 if we were willing to stay in an adjoining room and we agreed. That made my daughter wait and when she was finally able to check in, it was the the room that was adjoined to ours. I feel that we were discriminated against and will never stay at this facility ever again just because of how we were treated! As far as the room… it was clean, but the light and fan did not work in the bathroom. The way the staff treats customers can make or break a business.

The hotel looked nice but got checked in after booking the room under my company card from my job to be told I could not use it due to my name was not on it. After driving 10 hrs. The hallway to our room and our room smelled of mold or old cigarette smoke.

I had a good experience at this hotel. I checked in relatively late (8:30 PM) and there were no issues. The breakfast could have had more options but I’m not complaining about something that comes free. The bed was comfortable and everything was a clean standard. I am satisfied with my stay. One perk is that it is very close in proximity to restaurants and a movie theater.

Management could not be bothered to process a refund when the hotel changed ownership and I was forced to double pay until I initiated a call to Expedia and then the manager cooperated.
Otherwise the staff were wonderful and the spaces clean. This was my first experience having to request at reception room cleaning.
I will not stay here again.

Florida trip
We were very happy with the check in process. Clerk was helpful and friendly. The room and bathroom were clean. The breakfast area was clean and adequate. There was only 1 flavor of waffle batter and no sugar free syrup. Previous hotels have had both. We have stayed here many times in the past but the hotel is showing more wear and tear lately. Might be time to check out other places on our next trip.

Perfect overnight stay

The place is super clean with friendly staff. Stayed 2 night just to move my daughter into college so we were able shop in the area to get all her last minute Knick knacks for the dorm, stores were so close. Near food and gas stations. It was quite, the breakfast was delicious and had a variety of things to chose. Plenty of parking and clean pool to take a dip in in the scorching Florida summer heat. The room was cute clean and comfortable!!!! The the ac Magnificent. I definitely stay again and again

Stayed for 2 days, when I got there I asked was it possible to get another room (no big reason) and the front desk attendant showed me another room and happily changed my room. Hotel is clean, quite and have the most comfortable beds. The surrounding area has so many shops and restaurants. Very pleased with my stay.

Mediocre at best
We were in the area for a concert to celebrate my husband's birthday. I chose this location based on the reviews, which were generally very good. I had a hotels.com reward night valued at $120 and paid an additional $50 on top of that, so o expected to have a stay worth nearly $200. Instead, we were kept awake most of the night due to the mini fridge making so much noise, and because of how it was situated it wasn't something we could easily unplug.
Although the room appeared clean there was hair in the shower - ugh.
Although what we had of breakfast was good, there was no sausage (we were told maybe 10 mins, but it was over 20 before there was any. The specialty waffle mix was also out. This was a full hour before breakfast ended.
It's a Sleep Inn and not a high end hotel so I shouldn't be surprised, but for the price I certainly expected more.

Best mattress! Room was quiet and the bed was VERY comfortable. Other than getting locked out of the bathroom until someone came up from the front desk and got it open, it was a great stay. :-)

I enjoyed the cleanliness and quietness of this property. Free breakfast and cookies everyday at 7pm were a plus! Sleep Inn is located in a nice area, near shopping areas and stores.

Comfortable and generally what was needed. The front desk was open when I arrived at 02:30, but trying to contact them in the afternoon when I found out my flight was delayed to make sure I could check in that late didn't get answered. The room itself was nice and comfortable. The shower door opened the wrong way (in) making getting in and out of the shower tricky. The common areas were worn and needed more cleaning. Basic accomodation for a night on a business trip.

The hotel is very nice and very clean!! Breakfast was very good!! The only complaint I have is the water pressure in the shower was very low. Very disappointed in that. If they fix that we will be back!

The staff were extremely helpful and actually assisted in sending me some jewelry i had accidentally left in the room. The pool was clean and well maintained. There were lots of shopping and eating opportunities within walking distance at Krate and the surrounding businesses. Krate across the street had live entertainment almost every night of the week.

The room had an odd smell when we first checked in and they put us in a handicap accessible room. Although there was nothing necessarily wrong with the hotel itself, I’ll likely spend a little more for a room that at least has a chair or seating outside of the bed itself.

Over priced for the Saturday stay. Hotel staff was helpful and friendly. Hotel is in need of updates. Noisy rooms. Could hear people talking as well as traffic. Did not appreciate having towels stored on top of toilette.
