The Swissotel was amazing! Beautiful property in a great location. The Palm Restaurant on property is fabulous! We were only scheduled to stay one night and our train was cancelled. The hotel was super accommodating and allowed us to stay in our original room instead of making us switch rooms. The staff was friendly and attentive. The beds are SO comfortable! I will definitely stay here again!

Beautiful property! Customer service is amazing. We had to extend our stay due to our train being cancelled and the hotel was so easy to deal with. They allowed us to stay in our room even though the rate was different. Will absolutely stay here again!

The price for parking was absurd and I had to wait almost 20 minutes for them to retrieve my vehicle. Also it was my birthday getaway and was woken up early in the morning with continuous loud banging noise which made me leave early.

The rooms AC and or heading are very noisy and loud, its to a point the room has a deep hum to it from a low vibration pattern. The rooms in the corner are somewhat more quiet.
The noise is not from in room unit which can be turned off but the vent in bath room cannot and central heat in hall way is noisy too.
Not a quiet sleep other than that the hotel is nice and location great.

Nice hotel with great location and modern look. Room for improvement regarding closet space (super small), enforcing hotel rules on unruly customers and partially staff. Nicely decorated for Christmas, though. No parking other than valet and that is overpriced. It's for sure between 3.5-4.0 with some potential to be at 4.5 one day but it will require a lot of work. No chances for a 5.0.

I did not get the “lake view” room that I reserved and paid for in advance. I was told it was first come first serve and they were sold out, even though I already paid additional to book that specific type of room. I was not given any sort of credit for the inconvenience, which is not good business at all!

The hotel is absolutely beautiful with great staff. I love how they check your key card before getting on the elevator, that made it feel safe. The valet gentleman were very helpful, professional and nice. The man that checked is in was very friendly. The room was clean view was amazing.

Parking garage was closed so they forced us to pay the full valet price . ( that's not fair to customer ) . They stated to text or call 15 min before so they can have vehicle ready but the next morning I did and still waited 45 min which I was late to my app because the valet guy wouldn't help me and told me to talk to the lady at the valet desk . I told him she was not there . And he said well nothing I can do but wait. I waited and ended up using their own walker talkie pacing for assistance. That's sad that I had to take after in my own hands . Breakfast front desk lady was telling me and my gf that they were closed at 10:15am and I stated who closes at 10:15?? She then said they close at 10:25 .. she obviously didn't want to have us there . Breakfast was rushed and dinner the night before was bad and rushed. My steak was so rare . I'm. Or one to complain nor wrote reviews but this visit was upsetting and disappointing

The toilet in our room was dirty, the mugs and glasses had lipstick stains on them and smelled. The bartender at the bar downstairs was rude and slow at his job. The only impressive part of the hotel is the view (which we paid more to have). Overall, it was disappointing.

This hotel was very nice. I was upgraded to a corner room which had amazing space. The overall cleanliness of the room and hotel was fantastic. There was a limited menu in the bar area and The Palm is a full restaurant in the lobby. It would have been nice to have a mid-range priced restaurant onsite for a broader selection of food.

The reception staff were very, very friendly and helpful and nice. The premises were very clean, aesthetically pleasing. Room was clean, great view. Bar staff was friendly and made an excellent Old-Fashioned! Only thing less-than-ideal was the lack of a self-parking area for cars, aside from in the seemingly unrelated garage next door that had mysterious entrance options.

I’m general I am a big fan of swissotel. Unfortunately, this facility is far behind the ones overseas.
The personnel is not helpful nor efficient or pleasant.
The bathroom of my room was dirty, I notified 4 times the front door and even the cleaning personnel doing the room next door and they never cleaned it. They changed the towels but never did anything beyond that.
As an apology they excluded some charges but still did not fix the problem.
Also, the valet parking is a disaster, they took extended time to retrieve our car and the app that is supposed to expedite the service did not work sometimes. Only one gentlemen in the morning shift was amicable and polite, the rest does not even try to receive your car when you arrive, it is almost self service with the downsize that you have to pay in full for a job not executed.
I would not stay again in this hotel again.
There are some other options next to this ones that I will try instead.

The property is very nice and the room was very clean. My only problem with this location is the absolute gouging for valet parking. The fee was $78 which is exorbitant on its own. THEN they added on an Urban Experience Fee of $20 to that AND THAT had a tax of an additional $3.48. So in all it cost $101.48 to park. Swissotel is taking advantage of its location by doing this and I do not see myself staying there again. Very disappointing.

The hotel and rooms were beautiful, it was in a great location, the river view from our room was amazing! It was clean and had everything you could need.. the staff was super helpful and friendly. The bartender made amazing drinks! I only had 2 complaints. Our room was right behind the elevator which wasn't noticable until about 2 am but it wasn't loud enough to keep me awake. The other thing is that we were told our only option for parking was valet and that cost 100/night.

The hotel staff was very friendly and nice. Location is great and an easy walk to many restaurants and attractions. The parking is absurdly expensive but other than that, no complaints.

Pros: Loved that it was riverfront and we had a lakeview room. Beautiful! I liked the simple use of elevators where you enter your floor which leads you to the correct elevators and no button touch from within the elevator. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Cons: The bathroom is modern but he layout was a bit tight. I liked the shower but the door can easily leak water when opening after showering. Also, the hotel lacks a coffee shop.

The door frame on my door appeared abnormal, like warped that did concern me.I was able to to see light through the area of the latch/door frame. I brought a door lock with me, without that I would have felt unsafe due to this defect. The door also rattled a little bit. Also, there was no microwave available without a charge; which was disappointing.

The property was very nice with great city views. Some staff very responsive and very polite even with a crowd hacking in. A couple issues we had included being charged for a double espresso I never ordered/received and as of today it was not removed from my bill even when asked. Also, my new car of only 2 months smelled like cigarette smoke when I got it back from valet parking. I was not pleased. Overall, good stay. Room clean and comfortable, in a great location but for $700 for one night I shouldn’t have had any issues.

This is a great place to stay. It’s in a convenient location within walking distance of restaurants and tourist attractions. The staff is helpful and friendly. If you plan to use rideshare, be sure to tell them you’re on the top deck. This is the second time I stayed here, and I’ll definitely stay here again.
