Convenient location while visiting family in the Easley area. Staff was courteous and friendly. Appreciated breakfast availability. Downsides were a lot of late night noise and not super clean or well kept with a very leaky tub faucet and big patch of plaster missing from ceiling.

Nice Service/smelled like smoke
People were so nice and helpful. Place is a bit older and in need of done TLC but it was priced accordingly. The only complaint was that it smelled like smoke in the non smoking room. Aside from that, would stay there again.

The biggest disappointment of the room was the musty mildewy smell from the air conditioner. We booked through hotels.com so I don't know if it was unique to that room. We only stayed one night or it would have been an issue. It didn't feel like a nice hotel but it served the purpose of not spoiling my teenagers. The lady at the front desk was friendly and helpful in finding a hairdryer to replace the broken one in the room. Kudos to her!

The staff was absolutely wonderful. Sausage and eggs were part of the continental breakfast, making for a pleasant surprise.
The property is conveniently located to restaurants and shopping.

Free breakfast, which is pretty good. Food and coffee just needs to be heated up a little more. Very friendly staff. I really like the fact that the rooms have a refrigerator and microwave. Very convenient to shopping and restaurants. Beds are comfortable… Good value for the money. No complaints really

Bathroom was dirty, and noticed on last day, what I thought was dust particles in sink were tiny bugs 5-15 (likely baby roaches). Staff were excellent but I would not stay here again.

I didn’t like that there was no elevator and the pool had a foot of moldy water. I believe they are remodeling though and I’m sure that is in the plan. Parking lot needs repaving. Those were the negatives. Otherwise the room was fine it had everything I needed, the bathroom could use some remodeling. And also no guide on the tv makes it hard to figure out what to watch

Where do i begin. First room when walking in had immediate smell of mildew. Bath towels had hair in them. Linen on bed was not cleaned . Television nor phone operated. Door had to be latched to close. Moved to room down walkway which was not better. Had no way of really getting another room due to how late it was and being from out of town, force to sleep for a few hours and leave. We were right at pool. Water was partially drained in pool so bugs were everywhere. Breakfast was lacking. Did not even eat as there were gentlemen in there sitting that were not even guess at the few tables that were actually there and would not move for me and wife to eat.

1 night Football trip
1 night. Clemson Football weekend.
Good location for that.
30 minutes to parked in Tiger Town.
Also close to shopping & restaurants in Easley.
Not luxurious but nice comfortable beds.
Clean shower.
Good TV.
Plenty of parking in very well lighted lot.
Felt very safe.
Only "complaints" would be...
AC seemed to stall during the night for a little while. Got hot. Though we had it set on 69 degrees.
And drink and snack machines would only take quarters.

This was our second visit. The first visit was not so great because the non-smoking room smelled like it DEFINITELY had years of heavy smoking in it. But we hoped that wouldn’t happen again this time and we were VERY happily surprised with ZERO smoke odor at all. I guess the lesson learned is to ask for a different room if you happen to get assigned to one that isn’t quite smoke free. I know it is hard in older places to get rid of that smell!

By far one of the grossest place I’ve ever stayed at. At this point I’m wondering who wrote the other reviews on Expedia giving them a 10 on cleanliness???The supposedly non smoking room reeked of stale cigarettes, when I told the front desk about it the next day, they pretended like oh really??? Cmon,the Toliet and bathroom had cigarette burns everywhere! Toliet was not washed and had stains and hair( not mine!) if it was not 1am and my husband was too tired I would have left! Instead I sat there all night dozing off feeling grossed out. Supposed to go someone else after we check out but I feel so dirty now we are driving 11 hours straight home. Front desk just said ok and said she would write down my issues, that was it.. no apologies nothing. Would not return.

The unit itself was fairly nice with a refrigerator and microwave… Good Wi-Fi. Bathroom door could have used some serious cleaning, and we did see one bug. Staff was very nice… AC worked great, and it was quiet at night. coffee was always lukewarm instead of hot, but we just heated it up in the microwave. Overall a good value for the money and we would definitely stay there again.

I liked that it was conveniently located near restaurants and shopping.Bed was comfortable.LOUD a/c unit.HAIR found on bathtub(NOT mine!) I asked for wake up call which did not happen, and two chambermaids called out so I didn't get fresh towels, coffee etc etc.

Pretty bad. Toilet was physically broken. Carpet was sticky because they clean but don’t rinse well enough and the cleaner was still in the carpet. Spots on bed coverings. Water damage to ceiling not repaired well. Looked like fresh blood stain on the corner of the bed, didn’t notice until we were leaving. Just disgusting overall.

The property did not look like the pictures. It was run down and dated, and not maintained. I took pictures. I stayed here for my sons birthday and the place was a mess, and the pool was closed. That pool was advertised but not open. I was lied too and im not happy. I want a refund I am steaming mad and dont want to have to leave a bad review with pictures!!

Very good condition with no repair issues or poor craftsmanship/maintenance. That is unusual for hotels in this area. Close to multiple restaurants and shopping. Great access out the back drive to avoid traffic issues. Breakfast normal fare.

OK, but a bit disappointed for a Baymont
A number of apparent weekly or monthly renters that left a lot of trash around. First morning, the breakfast seemed totally depleted with nothing left and no one to monitor it by 8:00. Second morning was OK ... orange juice machine broken, coffee lukewarm. Room had strange high pressure sink fixture.

We didn't arrive till late night. Not an issue very friendly clean, safe everything you would want in a hotel. Checked out and went to Days Inn where I previously booked in Easley. Like apples & oranges! Days Inn DISGUSTING checked out and came back to the Baymont. Would book again in a Heartbeat!

Disappointing
Upon arriving at the registration desk the woman working barely spoke to us, only yes or no answers while on the phone with someone else the entire time. The hotel looked nothing like portrayed in the online photos. Very rundown exterior, the only views were of the parking lot. There were people in the corridors most of the night running back and forth, lots of noise. Would not recommend for a family stay.

Nasty place, do NOT STAY here
Beds were clean but furniture in bad shape and the bathroom was filthy! Floor was covered with hair and around the toilet had not been cleaned in a long time, a buildup of urine and hair! Will not ever stay there again and will never recommend!

We have stayed at this property numerous times and have never had any major issue until this time. The property overall isn’t the cleanest on the outside and surrounding areas. We checked in around 8pm and overall the room looked ok like they usually do. When we got ready for bed and turned the covers down there were numerous stains on the bottom sheet and one of the pillows. It being late we just slept on top of the covers. Next morning we get up and the water lever on the tub wasn’t working. You either had all hot water or all cold water. I was told at the front desk that there wasn’t any other rooms available but unless over half the rooms aren’t serviceable there appeared to be plenty empty rooms. Needless to say my wife and I had to endure a cold shower to start our day. They did have it repaired and clean linens when we returned that night but not any type of compensation was offered for our inconvenience.

There was dust from the vent in the bathroom, a dead bug in the corner of the bathtub and the room smelt. The rug didn’t look like it was vacuumed.

The bed was very comfortable and the room maintained temperatures through and was comfortable. The remote for the television was missing, the front desk provided another, but that one only operated the channels upward (and was missing the battery cover). Television needed to be turned on/off and volume adjusted manually. Did not receive a receipt upon checkout.

I was in town for a Clemson game. Hotel is about 25 minute drive from campus, so location is pretty good. There are also a number of restaurant options nearby. It is an older hotel that may be ready for some upgrades, but for the price it was a fine.

We had checked-in by phone due to arriving very late after attending a football game. The office was closed, but they had an after hours window where you could receive your key. All seemed good until we got to our room and within less than 30 seconds we noticed roaches on the wall behind the sitting chair and nightside. I had a drink and laid the lid on the table and within 5 minutes 2 roaches were in the lid. Nasty room, cobweb's in almost every corner of the room, many more roaches under the nightstand and some that came out of the air conditioner, and more on the wall behind the door. I stayed up almost 2 hours to kill as many as I could so we could as least get some sleep. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS PLACE!!! IT IS AN ABSOLUTE DUMP!!!

It needs serious updating. my room was not cleaned well. eg hair and dust balls in the corners, the phone was covered in dust. Employees sat outside a few doors down from my room smoking and the smake billowed in under my door.

I read some of the reviews prior to booking, but took it with a grain of salt. Turned out to be correct unfortunatley. Rooms were dirty, bugs literally crawling everywhere. I booked this for one of my associates and I was embarrassed when he told me the conditions. You would expect a palmetto bug here and there, its the south, but clearly no protocols are in place for basic extermination service. Would travel 20-30 minutes further to find a cleaner hotel next time.

Thoroughly dismayed.
We didn't get to stay. They had no first floor rooms and I'm disabled so I couldn't stay. She was quick to bill me for a night even though she couldn't provide me with a room. They desk clerk was rude and abrasive and not what I usually see from hotels.com

The property was okay. The stairwell to the second floor is coming apart and someone is going to trip in it one day. Very unsafe.
Going in the room, it looked like someone had sat on the bed and used the pillows.

Best $80 a night I’ve spent on a hotel stay for a long time. Friendly staff. Clean room, comfortable bed, good shower, nice towels, and quiet at night. That’s all I ever ask from any hotel. This one ticked all the boxes.

This motel is in dire need of a renovation. The non-smoking room smelled like it was never a non-smoking room. The room needed paint, new furniture and a thorough cleaning of the bathroom as well as a fixture upgrade to modern day fixtures. Even though it was relatively inexpensive, it was not worth the price.

Extremely Poor Reception
We received a call about 3:30 saying we were being sent to the Quality Inn as there was “a maintenance problem” at the Wyndham. I said fine & let the caller know our arrival would be 10:30 PM. I was assured the Quality Inn employees would know to expect us. When we arrived at 11:15, the lobby was locked so we were stuck standing out in the cold. Even though the room was already paid for and all we needed was a room key, we were asked to wait 10 minutes while the 2 employees conducted “shift change.” At this time there was only one other customer who was paying for his room. Instead of taking 5 min. to take care of us, the employees made us wait in the cold. The person who finally gave me the paperwork to sign and the room keys then sat in her car at the front of the motel vaping rather than leaving. When we had a problem with the key not working on our door, the 2nd person was not in the lobby and this person rolled down her window to inform us she “was off the clock.” We had a very bad impression because of the complete lack of professionalism and helpfulness shown. The room was fine & the person I spoke to Sunday morning upon leaving was dressed professionally and was welcoming and friendly. Perhaps she could give some tips to the night staff.

Nice room but a building issue.
Friendly and helpful front desk clerks, comfortable room, breakfast adequate. However, the condition of the exterior steps was pretty poor, rusting badly. One set of steps on the building we were in had been roped off, leaving only one stairwell for the second floor customers…an inconvenience but, in an emergency, could be a real problem.

Bathroom shower had mold at eye level, floor had hair left from previous visitors and came back from dinner to find a roach in my bed.
The room smelt like it had been smoked in or something wasn’t right. I pushed through but when I called to tell them they said Thanks for letting them know… disappointed to say the least.

The beds at this property which is the main reason you stay somewhere were hard as a rock and almost unsleepable. Almost went somewhere else for the second night but after a day of trail hiking it was too late. Will definately not stay here again .

Room was not clean; had been used. Door lock was broken; could enter using any plastic credit card. Found dead bug in sheets; bathroom floor covered with nail clippings; bathtub cracked; exhaust fan in BR not working. Homeless people staying near our door outside.

The lady at the front was very nice and let me look at a room before check in. I didn’t feel safe in the back corner of the building. Asked to moved to front. She did. I told her the furniture was beat to heck and chair stained. She said some rooms are that way some aren’t. Don’t have a lot of kings available. I took it didn’t have time to play every room inspection. I had a show to get ready for. The breakfast advertised non existent. The girl in the morning said we have a grab and go with juice, yogurt and gronola bar they’re all gone. At 9am? I should be refunded partial for the stay. The bed was clean and comfortable not as advertised, I paid extra for a decent place and breakfast got none of what I thought I paid for. Word to the wise stay away.

The pool and gym was closed. The breakfast was a bag breakfast with a small water, fruit cup, cereal bar and a juice box. No coffee...Fridge setting was messed up, froze my drinks which caused them to explode. They never cleaned the shower. Apparently you have a card you set out to get them to change sheets but was never told this. AC unit was noisey and dirty

Overall great stay. Housekeeping just need to pull the mattress back and get the condom box that someone left and also check behind the tv stand to get pieces of paper that someone left. Other than that it was a great stay and very quiet!!!

The Handicapped room 105 was dated , dirty, cramped and smelled. The toilet rocked when sat on and the shower controls were confusing as they were not useable when standing up. The floor in the bathroom had cracks in it and along the back wall was poorly repaired. The bedding was comfortable and the carpet was newer but dirty and not vacuumed under the chair and bed edges . No way the rating is 3.6, more like 2.0. Also there was an abandoned car on the premises. Very disappointed. The nicest part was the Applebees next door.
