They should rename this place, the heroin hotel
Our room was fairly clean, but my daughter’s room look like there was a murder in it. There was blood on the rug, and it looked like the ceiling was falling down from water damage. We definitely did not appreciate the pimp and his hooker next-door to our room! We stay at this hotel approximately 20 minutes, and before leaving for fear of our lives.

Noisy in the night
the room was fine. Getting woken up at 2:30am was not good. then I called the front desk and complained about a man shouting outside our room. he told me oh they are leaving. well they came back an hour later and woke me up again. This should not be tolerated. they should have called the police. the man sounded drunk.

Would not be my choice
There were spider webs hanging all over the room. The towels were disgustingly dirty. Floor mats had stains. Absolutely not a place to stay even for 1 night.

Not Smoke-free
When we opened the door to our rooms, they both smelled terribly of smoke. The bathrooms were not clean and we had a large cockroach in one of the rooms. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was pleasant.
The worst part was that we saw employees smoking in the lobby (behind the front desk) and right outside guest rooms. This is not acceptable for a hotel that claims to be 100% smoke free.

Rented non-smoking , ok at 3:00 pm checkin , but after returning at 9:30 pm , room was full of cigarett smoke . Evidently came from an adjoining room occupied by noisy smokers . went to bed for about 30 minutes , then got up , checked out about 10:45 and drove 90 miles home .
Won't be back there again.

Found a dirty towel on the back of the bathroom door and hair and threads in the tub and on the bathroom floor. Super dissatisfied. Not worth the money to not be able to feel comfortable using the bathroom due to the lack of cleanliness.

The nice lady at the front desk was very friendly and informative. Breakfast area was clean, with enough variety to find something for everyone. We reported our front door handle to our unit needed a screw, kept falling off, no one came to fix it. I would stay there again.

Started a little rough
Check in was a little rough. Was put in a room on tge first floor. Smelled like a cat had peed all over. Was moved to another room but the attendent keyed the wrong room. Once we got in the room all was fine. Couple of things in the room were broken but it did not effect our stay.

This hotel is clean, & very convenient to restaurants. I was able to walk across one side street, & had access to a grocery & 3 different restaurants.
It’s also very convenient to the interstate, without being excessively noisy.

Great Stay
We had a wonderful stay in Gaffney. Our room was ready when we arrived, early😊. It was nice and cool and very clean.Our bed was so comfortable that we want to get a new mattress that is the same as theirs. The staff were all very friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was early, as we need it to be and coffee was hot. Thank you for making our stay in Gaffney SC a good one.

I was there for one night. I had read many of the reviews, and was somewhat reluctant to stay there. However, I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was cordial and hospitable. My room was clean. I felt safe staying there. And there was no cigarette smoke smell, as I had read in other reviews.

Well it was hard to find the song was gone we had to drive round find the motel the room smelled the staff that checked us in and helped us that night was great but there were people on other side sit out side yelling at people And people being rude win your trying walk your little dog no I did not fill safe at this motel cars race up down the road I was worried they were gone hit us this motel is not the best one at all we will not be back

We initially checked in for 2 nights but left after the first night. We checked in and left for an event and returned at 2am. There small water bug/roaches crawling on A/C unit, tub and ceiling in bathroom, and counter top and sink. Very disappointing, we checked out early and went to another motel for out 2nd night.

Greetings I enjoyed my stay at the wyndrome well the staff was excellent in handling anything that I may need it and the place was immaculately clean and they came everyday to make sure if I needed anything or I need the trash empty and everything that is very courteous and I would stay again I'd give them a 10 thank you

I was there for quick one night stay on a trip and be my only complaint was my room felt damp/humid. For ex, any fabric or upholstered surface and the floor felt slightly wet…it was August in SC so I know it’s hot and humid BUT a hotel room shouldn’t feel that way.

The experience was over all good. The problem things were it was a non smoking room but when you turn on the bathroom fan the smell of smoke filled the whole room. The legs on the chair in our room were broken. Thank good I didn’t sit in it.

What great folks here at the Baymont at Wyndham, Gaffney SC. We arrived very late and the attendant was ready for us. Had all the paperwork out all I had to do was sign and go to sleep😊. The room was very clean (although I missed the "blanket" that is usually on the bed) . The A/C was a little noisy starting up but kept the room comfortable.
We requested a ground floor and we're greatful to be accommodated.. the bathroom was huge and very clean with plenty of towels. The only issue we had with this room is that the coffee pot didn't work properly, but when I went to the office they offered me another to replace it. They also offered coffee and some breakfast items in the lounge area. I highly recommend the Baymont Wyndham and this will be our choice whenever we travel.

Not happening again!!
Our family has stayed at this motel several times over the last 5 years and each time the quality of the stay has declined. The condition of the room, the cleanliness, and the service. It appears that a large portion of visitors are actually workers needing lodging. Our most recent stay in June 2021 there was the constant aroma of marijuana and frequent sounds of loud arguments and partying. Leaving for a deceased family members visitation we actually witnessed a drug deal!! Would only stay here again if couldn't find anywhere else within a 100 miles of Blacksburg.

In The first room I was assigned, the toilet was plugged which means the maid did not clean the toilet. The toilet nearly overflowed. The second room two doors down also clearly had an uncleaned toilet and the shower shampoos and conditioner were not replenished.
The breakfast was good and the staff at the front desk were helpful.

Hotel outside is clean and pleasant. Breakfast is always a hit with fresh waffles. The room had a some wear and tear and the carpet wasn’t the cleanest but for one night stop off the price was right and if you are traveling with a pet they do accommodate that.

Special request early check in
We had drivers switching out on a trip and needed to check in early. REALLY appreciated the staff emailing me saying it was not a problem for drivers to arrive at 2pm. Many hotels don't respond to special requests. I will use you again for this reason alone!!!!

Pet friendly with an additional $20 per night.
Non smoking, but the ashtray was literally right outside the non smoking room, so that was bad. Room still smelled of cigarettes. I felt safe, and parked right outside my room. If they moved the ashtray or a different room, I’ll for sure be back!

The property says its part friendly but they charge you $20 a night for a pet. The air conditioner was loud and literally ran all the time. The room was damp hence the air conditioner running for 2 days. It's location is good and the restaurants around it are great, the hotel just needs updated.

This is an ok Motel for what you pay. Don’t expect super clean room. The carpet had many stains and room had a musky odor, and smoking/vape smell even though it says is nonsmoking rooms. Bed was comfortable, not horrible. Hair dryer looked like it had not been wiped in years, it had all rainbow of color stains on it. Breakfast was decent this being a Motel type of place.
I would stay here again if I had to stay in this area of SC again and Motels were the only thing available. Not the best but definitely not the worse if you only need a comfortable bed to spend the night.

Bathroom door wouldn't close. Door was damaged on the inside. Numerous outlets in the room didn't work/were damaged. Our bed wasnt made the next day after housekeeping visited.
It was LOUD. Between the cars speeding down the side street and bushes and trees being removed, I couldn't take a nap or fall asleep easily. Didn't realize it was a motel as other Baymonts have been hotels I thought.

Going downhill
We've stayed at this motel on previous visits to SC and liked it. This time however was a very different story. Check in was easy. The room was very cold when we entered because the unit was shut off. They leave you a note saying they only change sheets every other day, that's ok. The bed was fairly comfortable, the pillows need replacing and for the time of year they didn't have a sufficient cover on the bed, requested one and was told couldn't have, so had to go buy a blanket. Entrance to bathroom was horrible, poor design, should be a sliding door r/t location. Didn't mind not having the sheets changed daily, but housekeeping didn't even come in to replace towels/washcloths or empty trash. When returned to our room the evening of the 3rd day of our stay and NO housekeeping had been done, called the front desk requesting towels and washcloths and was told I would have to come to the office to get them myself and bring the dirty ones with me. Since we had not put out a do not disturb I asked why we weren't receiving housekeeping and was told that multiple housekeepers had called off and the others just "did what they had time to" Friday a.m. able to catch a housekeeper and get her to take the 2 bags of trash from the cans in the room, + the 2 bags we provided and was just handed 2 bags to put back in the cans ourselves. 4nights, no housekeeping. When complained about loud guests late at night was told "we can't do anything about it." and hung up on. Won't be back.

Should have stayed at a Hilton.
The food in the breakfast area was moldy, literally. There was nobody at the desk in the morning to notify of this disturbing finding. The person at the desk the evening prior looked like I woke her from a drug induced slumber, she was disheveled and unkept, did not speak to me more than 2 words. The shower curtain was covered in mildew. I'm just going to stop staying anywhere other than the Hilton.
