Washroom in the room and in the vanity area smelt like sewage the entire stay. We stayed at three different resorts on our trip and this was the worst. Very very busy and hectic in around the resort (not a place to go and relax) but would be good if partying with friends. Location was great. Next to all the high end shops and the beach. Had to pay extra for beach chair rentals (was included in our other stays across Hawaii). The view of diamond head mountain from the pool was super cool! Beautiful sunsets from the hotel area as well. Overall would not stay again and not recommend.

Fabulous hotel! It gave us the dream vacation we’ve always wanted to have. One of the most beautiful ocean views we’ve ever had from our room. Enjoyed having two swimming pools, one for adults and one for kids. The convenience of having so many stores and restaurants to walk to was a huge plus.

We had a wonderful 5-day stay over Christmas! The property was very clean and ALL of the staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurants were all delicious (Rum fire, Edge, Market) We loved the mahi bowl and the mai tais especially. The pools and beach were somewhat crowded because of the busy holiday week. The oceanfront view was worth it! The area around the hotel was busy with high-end shopping that didn’t interest us but there were also good restaurants walkable. We were glad to do some tours and driving around the island when we tired of the pool/beach. Our teen was safe to explore the gym, pools, and game room areas alone and with a friend. Thanks for a great stay!

If a hotel was a carnival cruise line
The place is great for the beach, pools, shopping and food.
My experience was blemished by guests:
1. Kids in Adult pool in the evening
2. Drunk idiots next to my room all night and then couldn't wake up to their alarm...I think I saved them from missing a flight.
Staff was amazing, but is the place to relax...NO !
Fun, party hotel with many familes in a nice setting. Not a place for a romantic getaway or chill time.

Back in Waikiki
It's been 35 years since we visited Oahu. Sheraton Waikiki is one of the best location if you wanted to be in the heart of it all. Great view and infinity pool is amazing for viewing sunsets

We had a beautiful view of the ocean from our balcony on the 10th floor. The infinity pool was nice and plenty of chairs to lay out on. I even went down the water slide in the kid's area. Loved all of the various sitting options and being surrounded by trees. Large walking area on first floor that led to a lot of shopping.

Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Location and ocean views from our balcony were great. Our room was nice but small for the price. Pillows were too soft/flat. Pool areas and patios were beautiful. Not much beach right in front of the hotel but wider beaches were only a one minute walk away. The hotel restaurants were good but menus were a bit limited and prices were high ($30 for a cheeseburger). Lots of other dining options within easy walking distance. We would stay there again but would also not hesitate to try one of the other Waikiki beachfront hotels.

Don’t get close!
We had a terrible experience after we were treated terribly by the hotel manager.
We were taking down to the basement where all the trash cans and junk of the hotel to take a shower at the workers locker rooms! It was embarrassing and discussing! Can’t believe an hotel at this level did that!
We had a late flight and wanted to take a shower after checkout.
The hotel for some reason (with 31 floors and a mall inside) don’t offer any public shower or an hospitality room!
The only hotel in the area that doesn’t offer that! We had to go and ask other hotels for shower and they were shocked that Sheraton doesn’t offer a hospitality room!
We had to beg and cry for a basic thing like a shower after paying almost 600$ a night!! After an hour the manager tried to get rid of us and offered us a key to a toilet! No shower just toilet like we can wash ourselves in there. They also offered us to take a shower at the cold outdoor beach shower! Nothing reasonable! We asked for 30 minutes in a room just to take a shower but they wanted us to pay more money like we didn’t pay enough! After an hour we were taken to the basement like trash!
Also, you have to pay extra for everything! You want a beach umbrella? Pay money. There not enough free sitting area next to the pool so you must pay to just sit by the pool!
Also the room views are a total lie! We paid more for the partial ocean view and we got a parking lot view! I had to jump off the balcony to see the ocean!

Room cleaned every day. Staff was very helpful. The rooms are renovated, spanking, brand new, and so clean. I stayed on the 16th floor, spacious balcony, had a spectacular view of Diamondhead and the ocean Waikiki Beach). The hotel supplied new toothbrushes and toothpaste every day.

The overall grounds, amenities and location were very much inline with the price. The customer service was not perfect but is in sync with todays times.
My only problem with my stay, which really wasn’t a problem, was that there was no room service. Definitely not a deal breaker with me returning.

It’s beautiful place and it’s right on the beach and walkable to shops and dining nearby. Hotel itself is cleaned, elevators are speedy, my room got beautiful view and my room price is worth of money, but it needs to clean around a toilet it smell urine from previous guest.

I enjoyed my stay the property location was great and convenient to all night life and Waikiki Beach the staff could have been friendlier. Room was nice just wasn't a fan of the shower amount of money paid I would have preferred a step in glass shower.

We liked the fact that it was in the middle of all the action downtown. Easy walking to anything you wanted to do. Beach access was super close and clean.
What we didnt like was the lack of signage around the pool and beach gates. Staff would randomly come up to you and tell you that your kids were not allowed in certain areas if they were in them. The slide closed at 5pm and the pool remained open until 8pm. The gates at the beach were closed and locked prior to sunset with no signs or information telling beach goers otherwise. Once locked out, it was hard to find a way back into the property without jumping the gate. A little information can go along way and there were many upset people each night who went out to watch the sunset only to find out they were locked out when trying to return

Location was excellent and everything was great with one exception. The bar by the infinity pool closed to early at 4:30 pm. Would have been nice to sit there and watch the football games. I spoke with other vacationers and they all agreed.

The property is overcrowded, if you want to have a nice relaxing time next to the pool, do not go to this hotel. If you want excellent service, do not go to this hotel. I have never had such a bad experience as I did with Sonny and Torin, Sonny was exceptionally rude and should reconsider his profession. Overall a horrible trip.

What we didn’t like was the quality of staff was mixed and the overall hotel is too busy. I won’t name names but we had both a good and bad experience at RumFire which required me personally to bring to another table my own wine bucket - perhaps a bit sheltered but first time in my life. I probably will never stay at the property again mainly as it did not suit our tastes anyway

Outstanding Waikiki Hotel
This hotel is one of the Best hotels I’ve stayed in.
PROS: It is located right in the center of everything in downtown Waikiki. High end stores are a few minutes walk from the hotel. Food court located 5 minutes from the lobby. At the back of the hotel is a really nice pool (infinity pool) that looks like its connected to the beach. Waikiki beach is a few steps away from the pool. There is also a kids pool with a slide and jacuzzi nearby.
Always opt for the oveanview room. The extra you’ll pay is worth every penny. The valet team are very friendly and will get your car ready in less than 5 minutes.
CONS: There is a Resort fee of $55. The valet fee is $55. You have to get your towels for the pool at the registration counter and they will only issue one towel per registered guest in the room. The room service team have a very slow response time. I had to call after two hours to get clean towels for the room and when I asked for sugar, I had to call them a few times to remind them. Room Service team needs a new leader to make their services better. The oceanview room was pricey.
Overall: An Outstanding Hotel and I will go back again and I would recommend to my friends.

The only negative is access to the main beach area was restricted early evening before sunset and that was a terrific spot to see the sunset. The hotel team needs to get the locks of the gates until at least 8 or 9 pm, that is not a lot to ask for imo. And there needs to be more restaurant options open during peak pool hours. The market and pizza place were both closed at lunch time, not good for guests at all. We ended eating lunch out of the hotel gift shop options 😬 location was fantastic and room was terrific👍

It is a beautiful hotel and workers are very professional and friendly, willing to help at any time. Close to everything and with a lot of options for shopping and food that fit any budget. The only thing can be improve is tell the guest on Friday where the fireworks words will talking place. A lot of people at the beach in front of the front waiting for the fireworks and they did it all the way in the other side of the hotel.

Great family hotel & overall experience
Great family hotel in the Waikiki area.
Good variety of restaurants & shops as well as numerous quiet areas to relax on the hotel property. We attended several of the advertised hotel activities and advise others to do so as well as we learned a lot about the Hawaiian culture and our kids enjoyed it.
The location is great close to the beach, shops & restaurants.
Only downside was that the main pool area was a bit crowded and loud. It was a quite stressful experience hanging out there.
We look forward to coming back to Sheraton Waikiki.

It’s a great hotel. Love The pools and hot tubs. Pool could be a tad bit warmer . The food at the hotel is good , drinks are yummy. We had a great time, it’s our second time at this hotel. Conveniently located by shops, restaurants and right on the beach.

Sheraton Waikiki- Aloha spirit everywhere
Hotel spaces were very clean and the room was spotless. Customer service from pre-registration to departure were effortless and all employees were very pleasant and accommodating...depicting the aloha spirit. I am a kamaaina so appreciated that we have these employees in contact with our tourists.

Bed is not comfortable and pillows not enough and for the price for one night can’t even provide bottle water. And that disposable water container is nasty and we stayed 19th floor and water dispenser all the way 3 floor ugh !
