It was right off the freeway so no issues finding the property. All of the staff was very friendly and very helpful! Walking distance to everything we were wanting to do!

The beds have these awful mattress protectors that kept wrinkling up which made sleeping very sweaty & at times uncomfortable.
There was no ice available on our floor so directed to go above or below to the 10th or 12th floors - no ice available there either.
Breakfast - be careful of hidden 4% surcharge - sharp practice.

The room was clean, the beds are comfortable. The hotel was in a very comfortable location. It was walkable to the attractions and to the monorail. The staff was very kind and helpful. I asked to check out late, due to our flight, and they kindly let me stay an additional hour. We loved the hotel and would love to come back.

Cold and impersonal
We booked for New Years Eve. The hotel was super busy with holiday tourists and NFL fans for the Seahawks vs Steelers game. The receptionist we got was very unfriendly and couldn’t answer even the most basic questions about local directions. The room was dated with an awful view of the roof of the lower portion of the hotel. The lifts were slow in coming. The complimentary bottle of water was $4. In all it feels like this once grand place is resting on past glories. We stayed in a lot nicer, much friendlier hotels during our trip

Parking wasn’t convenient but never is in Seattle. Was charged $30 for WiFi which I was surprised by. Room was nice, clean, quiet. Good location for walking around downtown.

Hotel charged me twice for our stay and now says, it’ll b 5-7 days to refund me. Front desk staff doesnt seem happy. They lack friendly customer service. Bellman were great. The bar staff were great. Starbucks doesnt accept cash 😳
Despite the hiccups, it was a great location and a fun holiday vacation !

Beware of this hotel. Would not recommend it.
We are not rich people. Works 3 jobs between my wife and I. My kids were very excited to go to Seattle for the first time. However, we were very disappointed with the Sheraton Grand Hotel .
1. No bottled water in the room
2. No toothbrushes or toothpastes
3. We booked with 4 people but only came with 2 towels
4. Bathroom dont have air circulation, its very stuffy which triggered my asthma attack. I couldn't breathe and had to check out early
5. The reception, room service button on the phone doesn't work. In fact, none of the buttons work on that phone. All you get is a busy tone for all of the buttons, and I tried it 3 days straight of my stay same issue. Tried more than 10 times at different time period. Had to call the hotel from an external line just to get someone on the phone to get some toothbrushes.
6. Creepy painting with what seemed like an eyeball, had to cover it with a towel because it was freaking the kids out in the dark.
A lot of basic things are lacking in this hotel. The suites are very disappointing. I had a asthma attack on my second night. I haven't had a asthma attack in 6 years. We checked out early and this ruined our trip.
FOLLOW UP:
When reached out to hotel.com, they tried communicating with the hotel on 3 separate occasions and when they finally reached someone, Mariah the front desk manager refused to work anything out

Xmas getaway
Surprised my mum with a night at the Sheraton and my daughter came also- we saw the gingerbread houses, ate lunch at Dog in the Park, walked to Pike Place Market, had dinner at Cheesecake Factory, and next morning took the monorail to the Seattle Center for Winterfest.

Very clean, modern, festive for Christmas. Our bathroom outlet had an issue and we couldn’t use the plugs without losing power. Maintenance came to fix it but didn’t, one of the maintenance guys was great the other was cold and seemed off put, the other super helpful. They comped my valet parking ($60) for the inconvenience, so I appreciated that. Bar/restaurant was super busy but we were still able to get service and it’s a fun atmosphere. Would stay again.

Rooms need bigger mini fridges. They are super small. No microwaves either. Food from room service is terrible and way over priced. Other then that place was nice. In a great location.

The hotel is very easy to get to from the highway. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and always smiling, saying hi.
The only disappointing part was no hot tub.
Besides that, rooms in the union town appear to be updated and larger.
Would stay again.

Nice place to stay and nice clean rooms. The parking situation was a bit frustrating and pricey in my opinion. Would definitely go back again just wouldn’t bring a vehicle next time, especially with everything being within walking distance.

The woman that checked us in was not very friendly and the room we were given was dirty it had not been cleaned there was a pill on the floor dirty towels in the bathroom dirt in the bathroom when we went downstairs a different clerk did switch us to an upgraded room. I like the Sheraton but our initial experience Was not indicative of how service normally is at the Sheraton.

I am usually not the one to write but the stay in this hotel was wonderful!!! I travelled for a concert with my teens kids , in even they were very happy with the stay. Highly recommend.

Given how expensive this hotel was I would have expected a better pool area, which was one of the reasons we booked the hotel. Also "free internet" was only in the downstairs lobby! I can't believe there was no in room free wifi without having to sign up for something. That is ridiculous given the price of the room.

Overall, our experience was great. The room was very comfortable and clean. The hotel itself was quiet and we really enjoyed the gym and the proximity to dining and other activities. The area, of course is a bit sketchy, but that seems to be on par with other large cities after the pandemic, we will stay again when we return to Seattle, which we often do.

The hotel seemed very high-end and for a very good price. Great location (close to Pike Place Market, Lumen Field and not too far away from Climate Pledge Arena) and very friendly and knowledgeable staff. This made my overall experience in Seattle amazing.

Couples Seahawks getaway
Enjoyed our stay here. We’ve stayed here several times over the last few years.
Staff is great, check in was seamless and very quick. Rooms are nice.
Having access to to club lounge wasn’t worth it though for the cost. It doesn’t seem to have as many options as it did in the past. Other than that everything was great. Hotel is in a great location also for walking

My kids loved this hotel and that thought it was super fancy and the pool high up in the air is very cool. The workout room is awesome best I’ve ever seen in a hotel. The food is fantastic we ate way too much because it was just so good and my kids looooved the breakfast buffet. I’ve stayed their a few times now and will definitely be back.

The staff was great, the property was nice, the room was nice but had a few annoying quirks. There were no electrical outlets for use next to the bed. In 2023 this not good. I use a CPAP when I sleep so I had to borrow an extension cord to power it. There were plenty of other outlets around the room. The coffee maker in my room was broken. The lighting was extremely dim including in the bathroom. The bedside lamps were good. But to read other than in bed was hard to do.

While originally trying to book, I didn’t get the dates I needed and then when I tried to change it t wouldn’t let me and I couldn’t get a refund. And then I checked in today and thought I could use the pool but, like more and more hotels who don’t want to manage their pools, said it was closed for maintenance. Total bs. But …it’s pretty crappy business. I’m not going to walk 2 blocks away to Westin Hotel to get a voucher to use their swimming pool. What’s next? A breakfast voucher at Denney’s at International Blvd??

Pretty central location. The Subway is a block over for those heading to the stadiums. Borders Pike street, so it’s a straight shot down to the market from 6th.
Lots of food options around but many close early.
The property is clean and the pool on the top floor provides a nice view of the city.
Parking, however is horrendous at the price they charge.

Valet was top notch. Only thing I didn’t like was at check in, the receptionist didn’t tell me about the nightly security deposit of $200. That was a surprise when I got a notification from my bank when the transaction went through. Better communication is needed.

Once again this is a bad experience for us traveling with Expedia. Being disabled is it extremely difficult to navigate these properties from your app. This is another booking that is not as advertised, the hotel is not set up to accommodate people with disabilities, very disappointing.
