I'm starting to hate staying in hotels
Absolutely terrible. Sheets were not clean, blood on walls next to bed and toilet. Floors were sticky, found multiple, 8 live cockroach, extremely loud you could hear everything from just people walking to shutting doors. We ended up checking out earlier than expected and just slept in our van at a rest stop because we felt unsafe and because it was incredibly unhygienic.

Very disappointed with my stay. Immediately after walking in, I was greeted by very unfriendly front desk staff who refused to answer any questions I had pertaining to dining in the area what was open considering it was late after returning to my room immediately noticed giant stains and burns on the comforter that made the bed. Also the bath had water in it still in the sink. Honestly, it looks like somebody tried to just clean it as fast as I could without taking into consideration, the next person who’s going to be in the room..
Very loud and noisy at all hours of the night starting at midnight all the way until four in the morning when I woke up. It’s very difficult to sleep in and relax. I will not be returning to this establishment anytime soon ..waste of money.

Property needs friendly employees
The employee at check-in was NOT very friendly, did not return my "Hello", never smiled and barely talked to me. The overall property is dated, but our room was clean, bed was comfortable and bath towels were surprisingly soft and fairly thick.

Our guests arrived here late after driving 12 hours to reach their destination. Once they checked in and went to their rooms, they were filthy. There were dead bugs on the floor and beds and cigarette burns in the sheets. They brought it to the attention of the staff and told them they couldn’t stay there in the uncleanliness. They talked to the girl at the front and she called the manager. They both apologized and said they would refund them for the rest of the nights but we would have to call Expedia and have them do it. Well 2 days later Expedia got ahold of them and they denied the refund. We paid up front for 3 nights! The guests didn’t spend one night there and had to find another hotel late at night. If I could give a negative 10 out of 10 I would. Stay away.

Stay away. This place is dirty and unsafe. Not sure why it isnt shut down. It smells like marijuana. There were burns in the bedding. The bathroom wasnt cleaned. We checked in and checked right back out and went somewhere else.

Borderline Scary
Please read reviews before you stay at a place based on price. This was borderline scary. Homeless looking folks out front as we pulled in, garbage around property dirty sticky floors, our room had a big wad of duct tape on the door. No pole in the closet to hang stuff, loud plumbing….. stains on sheets from heavy use, mattresses on both beds were lumpy and old. I have the heebies hoping we don’t bring anything home with us from the nasty bedding.

Hotel was dirty. Staff was unfriendly. Transients all around the property. Even though it was a non-smoking room, there was an intense smoke smell everywhere in the hotel and many cigarette burns on the bedding and the furniture.

This place was one of the worst hotels i have ever stayed at. Every floor smelt of Marijuana smoke and poeple cooking fentanyl tweakers hang out in the stair wells. The front desk ladie didnt even acknowledge me. Room was decently clean. Room was different from what was in the picturs. Table had melted crack pipe glass on surface. One little stained up chair to sit in when there should have had a sofa. They provided one little bar of soap and previously used shampoo/conditioner. I definitely do not recommend staying at this Hotel. Definitely not worth the price. Definitely will not be coming back to this establishment.

Wet sidewalks hazardous
It was fairly clean aside from dirt in corners of floor. After the maintenance man wet the sidewalk by the pool, my boyfriend slipped & hurt it his foot. We told the front desk & was told we'd have to call the manager tomorrow. There were no signs warning of the slippery when wet.

The parking lot was full of homeless people and drug dealers. The lobby was dirty,the hallway to my room was filthy. The room had roaches everywhere. The sheets were clean but the floor was sticky. The tub had mold, the toilet had leftover poop in it. Never stay here again.

There was no hot water. Large hand written sign on window "no water" when I checked in. Lots of people standing around, going in and out all hours of night.Cups andother condiments for coffee but no water and Phnx. water tastes awful. We were cold but could not turn on heater. Didn't get a receipt.

Rooms were extremely disappointing. Cockroaches and incessant barking from dogs at all hours of the night.
The GM was great though and listened to my complaints professionally and respectfully. It's because of him that I will be giving the Super 8 hotel chain another try.

I had 2 reserved 2 rooms they cancelled my reservations before 3pm day of check in to give my room to someone else! Staff was rude and didn’t care that I had no where to go. Staff dressed like if she belonged with all the other guests not professional at all. Outside groups of people hanging outside all hours of the day and night.. I will never ever stay at another super 8 the worst experience I have had.. ended up getting one room there was awful.. dirty sheets smelled not clean. No point of letting anyone know no manager on site..

The property needs a good cleaning. Pool area needs a good cleaning. Outdoor furniture needs to be replaced as it is worn out. Pool railings loose some maintenance needed. Breakfast was coffee, crystal juice, and granola bars. Not expecting that.

Time to demolish it
I recommend leveling this property and starting all over. This hotel is in terrible condition and is very outdated. There comes a point when a property such as this needs two be leveled and rebuilt from the ground up. I won't be staying at this hotel ever again

“Non-smoking” room smelled horribly of smoke. Couldn’t/wouldn’t switch our room. Only offered some air freshener. Used lots of freshener, slept with bathroom light/fan on and window (no screen) open as well as heater/fan on just to try to breathe.

We chose this property for the pool, hot tub & breakfast. The pool & hit tub had so much debris in them (and was never cleaned put). The "breakfast" was gogurt, old oranges & broken granola bars with o.j. & watered down apple juice. The carpet in the room was sticky & the shower was filthy. The chair in the room was peeling & ripped up. Front desk staff was never around.

DON'T STAY THERE!
The hotel looks nothing like the pictures. The place was dirty, towels were old and stained, bed sheet/blankets were were stained and torn and graffiti was written in the bathroom. We watched a homeless man go into the pool area and soak his feet in the jacuzzi. And many more disgusting things. I can't believe they advertise as being part of the Wyndham hotel chain. Wyndham should visit the property.

They let you reserve to pay when you get to the property but they always charge it right away and will cancel your room if they can’t get the payment. Then the manager gave my room away and made me pay more! The elevator has the N word scratched into the wall still there after I said something months ago!! They have roaches! The furniture is old,dirty and worn out. There’s weird people hangin out outside. The beds have stains! The halls smell of animal urine.

This is by far the worst hotel that we’ve ever stayed at. They were cockroaches in the bathroom there was still ice cream in the freezer. Cigarette hole burns in the bed. There were cigarette ashes all over the chairs. The lights hardly worked. The place is clearly being inhabited by drug users and dealers sucks. The pool was nice, but it was only 48°.

This is the nastiest and dirtiest motel I have ever seen. Upon pulling up to the property there was at least 5 to 7 sketchy looking individuals out front of the lobby. Other people camped out in their vehicles in the parking lot. In addition to the room being very dirty and in poor condition. Just walking through the hallways is a terrifying experience. There is a disgusting odor in the air and smoke lingering. The AC unit was so dirty that I didn’t want to use it to blow any of the dust around. I definitely recommend staying elsewhere if you care about your safety and cleanliness.

No breakfast as advertised; but wouldn't have felt safe eating it anyway.
In a clear attempt to not have to maintain carpets the entire place is dirty hard flooring. Which echoes every sneeze, footstep, and "other sounds" in the entire place.
The outside is even worse with homeless people using the hoses and whatever else they can find outside and numerous suspicious activities occurring in the lot.
I'm not sure what's worse; the fact this place exists or the fact it said "great for families". Unless you're craving adventure and packing a firearm, don't stay here.

Filthy room, bed was full of stains and unmade. Floor was full of stains. Refrigerator didn’t work. Holes in the drywall. Dogs barking in almost every room. I left an hour after check in, and asked for a full refund. They said it would take 3-5 days. Please help with this matter…. You should take the hotel off your list. It’s a crack/drug hotel for sure. Many of the guests appeared to be homeless or drug addicts, rooms were run down, cigarette burns in the bedspread. When we stayed there was no hot water, then the following morning there was no water at all. Wanted a refund. Check in staff was friendly although by checkout I felt like we were conned.

check in process was fast, staff was friendly at both check in and out. however, place was sketchy, dirty elevator and hallways - room smelled horrible esp when using the air con. shampoo/conditioner/body wash dispensers did not work or had no product in it. Toilet had a chip on it. Sheets had stains. Behind the bed was dirty. Needless to say, the overall cleanliness was not it. smh only thing nice was free parking and friendly staff.

-Dirty lobby unkept and dingy
-Smelled in hallways bags oftrash outside of rooms
-Non smoking room but smelled as if smoking had taken place in room and covers on beds had burn holes on them
-Smoke detector just barely hanging from the ceiling
-Air conditioner made rattling noise all night
-Bathroom had hairs in sink and tub just plain dirty and rundown
-Tv didn't work had to have night xlerk and then maintenance come fix it
-Loud guests all night up and down hallways
If we hadn't arrived late 8n the evening we would have left and went elsewhere.
All around not clean or maintained
Will never stay again!

The definition of a "dive" hotel
This hotel was disgusting. From the sticky floors to the holes in the thin bedspread, to the filthy room it is the worst hotel I've stayed in ever. The air conditioner in my room didn't work, the room smelled, and except for a new refrigerator, everything needed updating 10 years ago. They claim to serve breakfast. There was coffee and some granola bars in a cup. There was a holder for doggie bags which had no bags. I just picked the closest hotel I could find when I was tired and driving through Phoenix. Too bad I didn't see the reviews first!

Cigarette burns on all the bed sheets. Room smelled like a ashtray in a non smoking room. Hotel was dirty and lots of people hanging out in the parking lot. Lady at the front desk was friendly and professional.

NOT SAFE!
Roach hotel. Drug attics all out in the parking lot at 2-3 am NOT SAFE! Worst stay I ever had EVER!!! Guess you get what you pay for! Rooms were dirty, spoiled food in the fridge that hadn’t been thrown out. Bed sheets were yellow… just gross now I see why it’s non refundable cause once you get there you do NoT want to stay!

I checked in with no problem,, but my room was on the 3rd floor and the elevator was broken, our luggage was very heavy and I didn't think I would be able to carry it up three flights of stairs so we asked if we could switch to a room on the first floor, and they refused. Very noisy, people yelling all night. The room was gross half the electrical outlets didn't work, we asked for an extra blanket, never got one. The whole experience was horrible. I will never stay here again

This property was nasty it looked to me like this is where Mesa houses there homeless. Lots of bicycles locked up around the property. My major disappointment was that the night manager picked my room at 4 am for a welfare check with 3 police officers knocking on my door and having me come outside my room. Terrible place.

The word horrendous is an understatement compared to the reality of Super 8. When we first drove into their parking lot, we were met with lingering stares that followed us as we walked into the lobby to check in. Inside the lobby, the floor tiles were sticky and corners were filled with dirt. It seemed as there was only one person working at the time. The elevators did not work and we had to climb the stairs with our luggage. Along with that, a person was smoking while sitting on the stairs and was talking about taking a drug test in the morning. Despite the labels that clearly displayed “No Smoking”, rooms were bursting with strong, pungent odors that filtrated through the whole hotel. When we entered our room, it looked nothing like the pictures we had seen online. A stained foldable sofa sat there like it was not cleaned in years. The couch was covered in dirt and it was clear that it had not been wiped, dusted, or cleaned whatsoever in a long time. The rolling chair was covered in holes like it was recovered from a garage sale. There were insect stains all over the floor and an insect carcass on the ceiling where the lights did not work. One wiping motion on a table ended in a brown, dirt-filled waste. While we were wiping the TV remote, we found the batteries uncovered and held together by a piece of tape. The fire alarm had no batteries. There were many more problems which proves it doesn’t live up to the Wyndham reputation.

There were people lounging in the stairwells.
The 3rd floor smelled like not only was weed being smoked there, but grown as well.
There were people sleeping in cars in the parking lot.
I was woken up at 3am to a domestic dispute next door to myself. Slamming doors, yelling, etc
There were stains and burns on almost all the bed sheets. The families that had gids in our group did not feel safe.

It was dirty elevator had some woman dirty plug in corner floor was dirty and sticky. Outside had dope addicts running around. Hallways had real bad pot smell. Front counter person very nice and room was cool and nice. And even with all the other going on no noise in room got good night sleep.

It was a pit of a place. Questionable nighttime clientele. The pool was green with algae. The “grab and go” breakfast was a granola bar, juice, and coffee. There were not very many granola bars put out and they were gone quickly. The front desk staff was usually not around, so most who were around the place may not have been a guest of the hotel. It is hard to believe that they didn’t know what was going on at the hotel. The room was disgusting and the shower drain was very slow so you ended up in soapy water past your ankles. The lobby floor was filthy with spills the next morning. Couldn’t wait to get out of there.

WORST in history of hotels
Pulled up to police surrounding the place. Stood at the desk a few mins before someone showed up. Was notified Wi-Fi was out. The elevator was sketchy af and ended up not using it again. The halls and stairwells throughout were dirty and needed cleaned desperately. Got to the room and the bed was beyond springy! Took a shower only to have stained and ripped towels to dry off with. Throughout the night I couldn’t get it any warmer than 62 so I froze in my one sheet and tablecloth like blanket. The next morning I use the restroom only to see a roach run across the floor. As I’m standing there getting ready for the day I notice someone’s false lashes stuck on the blow dryer. I could not believe this. Check out was 11 and by 1102 I had a barely English speaking housekeeper banging on the door yelling “checkout”. 30 seconds later I was putting on my shoes and she comes by again to yell and bang on the door. I would have gladly paid a fee to make her go away. I’ve stayed in 10-12 hotels this year and this was by far the worst. Only positive I have for you is location.

You get what you pay for…..
Although it was a non-smoking room, the bedspread had cigarette burns. The bathroom had evidence of cigarette burns on the vanity and the toilet seat. The room smelled ok so maybe this was old but replace the spread.
The hallways were dirty as was the landscaping around the doors.
I was followed out to my car at 2 am by someone who appeared under the influence. I didn’t feel safe so I left the next morning.

Cigarette ashes on the floor of our non smoking room, a bag of rotten sandwich rolls in one of the drawers, cigarette burns in the bedding, the chairs in the room where so dirty we didn’t dare sit in them, and the entire building reeked of cigarette smoke including our room. Lots of people coming and going in the parking lot both on foot and driving, and sitting in their cars, and dogs and cats in the building. We didn’t feel safe being there both because of the unclean conditions and the activities happening in the parking lot. So we did not spend the night and went to another hotel.

This is one of the worst place to stay. Non-Smoking room smells terrible! I assume it has been smoked before many times. The room is not clean at all! You can see the dirty bathroom, floor, and many hairs on the blanket. It was a really bad managed motel! Not recommend it at all!

The hotel was dirty. It smelled terrible of pets and smoke. The room was not clean (our socks were covered with dirt and dust). The pictures on the internet looked much nicer than the actual property. They advertised a breakfast, but it was bad coffee, yogurt, a packaged breakfast bar, and bananas. We ate out both mornings to get a breakfast. Expedia told us it was a smoke free room, but that was not true. We were in town for a wedding and had no time to make a change or we would have tried to argue for a refund and get a different hotel.
