Would not recommend or stay here again
The place was run down and not well maintained. The carpet on the floor was dirty and always felt a little damp. The outlet in the bathroom did not work. They did not provide housekeeping during our stay.

Never! Welfare hotel. Dangerous area. In extreme disrepair. The only 2 rooms available had a lot of smoking cover scent and extreme body odor. It is not possible to sleep in those rooms if you have an allergy.

Not so good stay
There was a blood spot on the sheets, roaches crawking around. No wash clothes, we had to go to the front desk 4 times throughput our 2 nights stay because the key wouldn't open the door. No phone in the room.

Grounds falling apart, interior nothing like pictures, stairwell smelled like a mixture of urine and sweat fermented to perfection, room smelled like an ashtray, brown/red stains on bathroom walls that could be feces, blood, or both. Surprised the rooms aren’t rented by the hour. Random people under the influence of illicit drugs “hanging” around the parking lot. We had to find somewhere else to stay on short notice due to the filthy and apparently unsafe conditions

I checked in and checked out did not even stay 20 min the room was beyond nasty. When I opened the door I got hit with a cloud of chlorine and they had cockroach shells on the walls.

The place is gross and super old. No no rugs after you shower some dusty, musty shower curtain full of mold, front desk, rude rude you have a coffee maker in the king suite but no coffee or cream or sugar or anything and the tub. Looks like if you get in it, you’re gonna catch an STD !

This is the worst place I have stayed, the front desk agents are not friendly if I could not given a star I would have choosen that option, there is roaches all over the room the shower curtain is so dirty it make your body crawl, the smell of the room is worst.
I would never recommend this place to anyone.

This hotel was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Very dirty, smells bad, the whole hotel is n need of renovation. Pool is not up to code. Elevator inspection certificate says it expired in 2018. Do not stay at this hotel. Absolutely horrible

Disgusting!!!
This hotel is disgusting and should not be posted on any sign. Rooms smell of mold and mildew that immediately affected my allergies. I only stayed one night and am going to probably have to fight to get my money back. Never had such a horrible experience ever!!!!

I definitely consider that it is a hotel that should be closed and repaired without continuing to rent, it is in very bad condition, areas with yellow ribbons because the cracks and deterioration in the structure is very advanced.

Checked in at 9 pm, no towels, no bedsheets, no comforter, no pillow covers. door coverage curtain to the balcony was not complete, screws in the room, things broken, room lights were not the same kind different bulbs, lobby was shabby, corridors had dust all over. the carpet in the room was crippled. no other towels nor hanging hooks. shower curtain was broken so the curtain did not stay. shower tub water drainage problem. always have relied on Hotels.com to have their stamp on so many hotels I have stayed in. but this was a worst one.

Do not stay here. Property is dirty everywhere you look, has a foul odor. They gave us 2 regular towels to take to our room. Told us they are limited on towels. TV had bad reception so nothing could be watched not even basic cable. Beds had only a flat sheet and no blanket or comforter. Truly the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in.

The sheets were dirty, there was no phone in the room, there's no cable, and I couldn't find the wifi. With all of these issues, why charge a $60 property fee? Even with my room paid in full, they still required a $100 deposit. With the issues that I had, I had to stay because there is a no refund policy. Some of the staff was pleasant to work with.

Room smells like rotten eggs, stains on carpet, carpet needs to be replaced. Bathroom accessories need to be replaced. No tawel , no tooth paste, had to go to reception to ask for towel, waited for 15 min to get one.this hotel needs to close for renovation.

The elevators seem unsafe and haven’t been inspected since 2018. Smells and looks like major water damage. Had to ask for things like toilet paper. The tub had black mold. The beds were hard and they only had a sheet. Trash overflowing on the floor. Seemed like some type of illegal activity was operating out of the third floor. People were having sex in the parking lot. No phones or locks for the room except for the key card lock. They tried to spray over the top of the mildew odor. Made it hard to breathe. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. Absolutely worst and disgusting hotel I’ve ever stayed in. If I owed the hotel I would be ashamed. They definitely don’t invest the cost of a stay into up keeping the hotel. Just awful place. Zero stars.

This was, hands down, one of the worst places I have ever stayed. Everything was dirty--floors, sheets, bathtub, name it. There was only a sheet on the bed, no blankets or extra sheets available. The bathtub had a nasty ring around it as if it had not been properly cleaned in ages. There was hair everywhere--human and pet. They had a pool, but no one was allowed access to it. The key cards constantly dropped their codes making them not work in the door locks. The noise level from outside traffic and from other rooms was excessive and intolerable. I would never recommend this place. In fact, I would tell anyone thinking of staying there to run away and find a park bench instead. Yuck! What a horrible stay. :-(

DO NOT STAY HERE. For anybody like me, that doesn’t read every review and tried to cheap out on this trip, you’re going to regret it if yiu book this. From the moment we walked into this “hotel” we felt dirty and unsafe. The pictures look nothing like the reality. There were no blankets on the bed and we never even put our stuff down for fear of getting bedbugs. I needed to book another room immediately.

Needs repair and updates, very low end hotel!
Property was badly in disrepair... rips and stains in carpet, whole in wall, one lamp did not work. Had to go to front desk to get a blanket for the bed as there was only a sheet. No washcloths, bathmat or towels in room. Huge water leak pouring inside in the main lobby walkway.

Do not book this hotel. The photos are NOT accurate. The entire building is in disrepair, very dirty and smells of urine. We booked this because it was close to the Hard Rock Stadium, we were going to a Monday night football game. We checked in and immediately thought we shouldnt stay here. We got back to the hotel after midnight, went to get into bed and relized the bed was dirty! The bed sheets had not been washed, they were dirty, sandy and grity. We decided not to stay and drove back home (3 hours away) the man working the desk at night was very nice. Worst experience ever, this place should be condemned by the health department.

The worst.
This was the worst place i ever stayed people sleep in the hallway lots of screaming coming from the other rooms bad chemical smell no blankets and we stayed for 5 minutes and they would not give us a refund.

The place mentions a jacuzzi and I paid extra for that, but when I got there they said none of the jacuzzis have worked for a long time and they wouldn’t refund back any money for the false advertisement.

This place should not be called a Hotel. A shelter would be a more appropriate description of this property. From the moment we walked in we realized this place was a scam, the pictures advertised on the website are clearly edited to make it look like a nice place, the reality was different. The place smells like pee and cigarettes, the two receptionists were rude, the rooms were run down, dirty and the beds looked like they had never been cleaned before we arrived. The bathtub was full of mold as was most of the walls. In the five. Minutes we spent in the room before we left, we found dead roaches on the wall, left over food all over the place and even bedbugs. We even had a bag stolen from us, we had to call the police. They refused to give us a refund and unfortunately even Expedia, which I have been a customer of for over 8 years couldn’t refund us the money given the horrible experience we had I feel we deserve. People please avoid this place at all cost.
As a side note, the police officer who came out to help us actually said this place has a reputation of sheltering bad people and it was unsafe to stay there.

The hotel was not was close to was was shown in the pictures. The room smelled of mold, the bathroom was dirty and smelled, the carpets smelled. There were people loitering around the front of the building and in the lobby area. It was noisey.. you could hear the people in the room beside us. Horrible experience!

The windows didn’t have black out curtains like any other room I have stayed in. The front desk lady was exceptionally rude. Half the lights in the room didn’t work. The tv romper was physically broken. You can hear everything including the person next doors phone all night Waste of money

I like the fat that the Building is an old structure and I love those type of things but, I didn’t like that it is not taking care off. It looks like a shelter, not like a hotel. Very poor condition.

Elevators dirty, noisy needs repairs and repaints, main entrance needs repairs. Jacuzzi are not working. Pool is dirty. Any outsiders can just walk in without coming in the front entrance.

The photos are outdated and the hotel needs quite the overhaul. Carpets were dirty and the place looked rundown. Thankfully the AC worked and we could get a hot shower but the towels needed replacing. The staff was okay.

I walked in and the toilet seat
was on the floor. The floor was wet due to rain . I don’t understand how rain is getting into the rooms . There wasn’t any curtains, so day or night it was bright in the room. Just overall nasty not worth $200 a night at all

Very first night as I walked out, a homeless looking person with a katana walked right by me to go inside. 2nd & LAST night here I open the elevator to leave and it’s flooded with urine… The smell of the entire room was awful, and it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in some time.

I booked online based on photos that must have been old. The representation did not accurately reflect the poor condition of this property. This was my fault for not reading the horrible reviews, so I agreed to pay for one night, but requested a refund for the remainder of my cancelled stay. Miami Gardens Inn & Suites front desk was "...unable to do so" despite the fact that the booking company stops handling refunds after the check-in date. I'm out money for a cancelled stay at what I feel is a misrepresented property, so I felt it was fair to share my experience with you. Hopefully you don't make the same mistake I do. Stay somewhere else.

Horrible place should be condemned. They are still holding my $100 security deposit it’s been 5 days now. Roof in the room was leaking and very old. Jacuzzi was also broken. Athroom had dried up blood by the wastebasket just disgusting. Complete disaster of a place nothing like the pictures.

The property was old and dirty like filthy dirty! The pool is peeling at the bottom and dirty the area by the pool is filthy! The poolside chairs are filthy and broke! You can literally see the dirt on the cushions.. the hallway of the place is dirty the carpet is filthy and ripped up… I had to switch rooms because the first room had bed bugs, the tv doesn’t work properly the bathroom was dirty they have no phones in the room vending machines don’t work they have 50 cent bag of chips for $2 and it was about maybe 4 or 5 bags… the elevator had a foul smell looks old and is also dirty… the whole place looks old and should be shut down and or renovated! I slept with my jacket and hood on because I didn’t wanna touch they sheets! I tried to spend as much time outside of the hotel as possible it’s disgusting DO NOT BOOK THEM! Expedia needs to take them off they site/app this is not a place someone that’s going to vacate should book !

Where to begin… the whirlpool tub looked aged and unsanitary. The blinds were variously broken/missing parts. The bed had two pillows and a top sheet without a blanket or duvet. The pool was dirty, the domed metal gazebo was in parts, the elevators were dilapidated and had a stench from some chemical I could not identify. the lobby had a janky shelf where they had handmade signs selling chips and drinks. And I’m not sure the front didn’t smell a little like marijuana. And to top it all off they had a sign that said maid service was only by request otherwise you had to change your own bedding between certain hours. Didn’t give me the warm fuzzies when it came to safety either. The deadbolts were I’ll fitted and very unstable in the door (bolt flopped forward and back) . It was the first time I genuinely feared my rental car might disappear in the night! Completely NOT what was shown on this app in the photos nor in the photos when I googled the place. 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

My stay was an emergency. The staff lied to my face I was told once you check in and you decide to extend you don’t have to pay the resort fee anymore that was a lie . I was told they would extend my original rate throughout my stay. That was also a lie . The bath tub look like someone was trying take off the paint and stopped it was disgusting. They have the nerve to say no smoking but the hall way smells like smoke. The elevator has no lights and a hole in the floor . This was an awful experience
