Horrible!
The only good thing about this place was the clerk Bertha. She was very sweet and pleasant.
The room was so run down. Water damage on all walls. Pillows are the size of throw pillows, the noise from other rooms was outrageous ! I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone!

Nice Vacay
Our room was pretty clean and didn’t have any issues within our stay. The staff was awesome and helpful if we need help or had questions. The breakfast was good as they had variety to choose from as eggs, pancakes, waffles, cereals, toast, yogurt, fruit and etc… What I like that our room was at 1st floor close to our car and having kids with made it easier to get to room faster.

Floor was sticky. Saw couple of roaches the morning we were checking out!!
There was no hot water for 2 days.
While the Morning Front Desk person Joan provided excellent and friendly customer service, the afternoon Front Desk person, Bertha was rude, brash and unprofessional.

Crack pipe in room and safety hazard
I usually don’t give reviews but I feel that this is warranted. I was I town one night so I wasn’t too big on minor details, but these need to be addressed. The smoke detector was taken off the ceiling which is a safety hazard, but what really got me worked up was the fact that I found a crack pipe in the box of Kleenex. I took it to the front desk but that’s as far as it went. Just an apology from the person at the front desk. Please see attached pictures.

The property itself is "ok" for an inexpensive hotel. Not at all great, but serviceable.
The problem is the area - you have the street (Latham, I think) that is filthy and has homeless encampments. It's just a bad area.

Stressful, but at the end, ok.
The boiler for the heater had broken in the morning before our arrival at ca. 4 p.m. It was not fixed until 10 p.m. We had no water at all from ca. 6 to 10 p.m. The manager finally arrived, and allowed us to move to another room downstairs. He gave me then a considerable discount on the room. Ok. Not having even water for the toilet is unacceptable. Breafast was minimum, but ok, no hot food. Room was very quiet (facing south).

The hotel room was surprisingly nice but it was not very clean. The floor was sticky and dirty there was a stain on the bed skirt and there were random dark hairs in the sheets.

I wasn't expecting much but the stay was pretty nice, for being in a truck driver area too. Staff was nice and the breakfast was just enough. There are places to eat within walking distance too. The only con was that the Tv screen was blue but we came to do stuff outside the hotel, not staying to watch tv.

As we were driving up the area seems sketchy. During day homeless all-over.
Front desk employees are not very personable.
Room fairly clean, until my daughter discovered sheets that look like old bloodstains and some strands of hair in the sheets. They grossed out. So sadly we probably wont return.

My drivers and I always stayed there at least 3-4 days a week. The last time one of the truck was almost catching a fire by a random man. So many people are transpassing and camping there therefore we would never go there anymore. It’s absolutely dangerous for us and our trucks.

Check in staff was absolutely amazing!! Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Could definitely hear the interstate noise, so sleep was sporadic. Felt safe, breakfast was kinda “sad” and we passed. I would stay here again though.

I understand conserving resources limiting sheets and towels. But not picking up the towels on the floor when coming in to deliver fresh towels, is not good service. As far as I could tell no one came in at all. Trash cans were needing to be emptied, as well.

Very clean and nice property. The suite had 2 separate rooms with a door in-between and 2 bathrooms. Breakfast was okay. The only bad thing was that it didn't have an elevator so we had to walk up the stairs to the 2nd floor.

I’ve never been to a 2 story hotel without an elevator nor without carpet in the room. The lament flooring was not secure and coming apart. There was pubic hairs on the bathroom floor and the shower was not clean. It was one of the most ghetto hotels I’ve ever been to. With the good ratings on Expedia we had booked for one night and we almost just went home. It is not anywhere we will stay again.

This booking was chosen because of the heated pool. It was NOT. Staff are excellent considering they are lacking employees. Breakfast was a total disaster! Disgraceful. No elevator. There was a microwave and a refrigerator in the room. Overall, I'm not interested in booking again.

There was no elevator for the establishment. You had to lug your suitcases up a flight of stairs. The room stunk like weed and they were trying to cover the smell with air freshener. There wasn’t even a backing on the remote control. One of the worst hotels I’ve been to. I expected much more from a Baymont Wyndham hotel. This was worse than a Motel 6!

Although I had read the reviews and a lot of them were negative, I do not agree with them. It was quiet with such a friendly staff. The breakfast was awesome, I really enjoyed their coffee. It was close to many restaurants to choose from. Plus it was clean and our room was great! Keep up the good work.

I don’t believe the name Wyndham should be associated with the hotel. It’s deceiving.
Not in a very nice area right next to a loud freeway. My friend room view was of dirt and a fence with the sound of loud freeway noise

Hotel was very run down and in sketchy area of town...homeless people in parking lot. Room was sanitary but there was a huge cockroach in the room. Bring ear plugs because it is very noisy...hotel is right on the highway. It was the lowest priced hotel in Phoenix, at $140/night.

Cockroach!
The cockroach and the ADA bathroom with no vanity and open shower stall that was not reserved nor requested were the downfall of the whole stay and we had just checked in. There was no luggage rack, however the reception staff did find one for us. It's not the first time that I believe we've been given a room that others would not be happy with because we booked the room through a 3rd party web site. The bathroom would have been great for someone in a wheelchair, but not for us. I definitely would not stay at this Baymont Hotel again. One positive - no other cockroaches showed up.

First and foremost we did not stay at the property!!! When we arrived they did not have any reservations for us and they said they were full so never checked in and never stayed however that didn’t stop them from charging my cc only to find out that somehow my reservation was under another persons name clearly not mine or my husbands name and neither Expedia or The Baymont has refunded my money back to my card so I had to claim a fraudulent charge with my bank never use Expedia again!!!

Find another option
Let me start by saying the staff were fine and helpful, the bed was clean and comfortable. That’s about all my positives. We had made a 12 hour drive and we were staying the night before making the return trip. When we saw the condition of the hotel, we considered just leaving then and not sleeping. The carpet going up to our room was filthy. It clearly hadn’t been vacuumed in a long time. It set the tone before we made it to our room. Our room smelled gross, luckily had hard flooring, but it was damaged and had patching. The shower was damaged and patched up. The light in the bathroom automatically turned on a very loud fan. They had free breakfast but we didn’t even look at the offerings once we saw that they only had powdered coffee creamer. Not even the little single serving liquid cups. We won’t stay in this hotel or any by this name again.
