We stay here regularly and absolutely love it! The staff is always super nice and helpful if you need something. Plus coopers pub, which is attached to the hotel, is a great time! The owners are amazing! Great food and drinks!!

The Suite was amazing!
We upgraded to a suite, and room was amazing! It’s was huge! Shower and bathroom was big water psi was nice. The beds were very comfortable. Room was clean. Pool and jacuzzi was nice! Restaurant inside, with really good food.

This is a great place to stay while visiting Prescott Valley. The staff at check-in was super friendly.
My room was very spacious and clean. My bed was extremely comfortable.
I love that my backdoors opened up to the courtyard facing the pool.
The pool was a comfortable temperature and although the hottub had a ton of bubbles we enjoyed it. The only down side of the pool was it's a little older so it looked kind of dirty, but I think it was just the appearance. The water was clean.
Breakfast was basic but good and filling. The banana bread was delicious.
If we head back this way I'll definitely be staying there again.

We have stayed at many La Quinta Inns. This particular location is not well kept. The room was very plain. there’s just nothing visually nice about the inside of this hotel. we will not be returning to this location in the future.

The place is safe and within the driving distance from all necessities. However, made our stay particularly pleasant was the staff. The people at the reception desk, the cleaning crew and the breakfast attendant were all very helpful, courteous, pleasant and professional.

We had an issue with neighboring shower is extremely loud. They showered very late at night and it kept me up due to the abnormal loudness of the plumbing pipes. My friend in another room said that one of the bed sheet weren’t replaced because there was hair on it.

Great place in Prescott

Fun in Prescott
ed the pool and spa. I think someone put bubbles in the spa because it had lots of them. Wish bathroom had shampoo, conditioner, q tips shower cap, etc.

Exterior was fine but interior of the property is a bit dated and in need of refurbishing overall, as well as the rooms (only chair available was stained). The lobby was bright and welcoming, with a hot breakfast offered each morning (a plus). Heating unit turned on/of loudly, which did not help for a restful sleep. Luckily the beds/pillows were comfortable. Overall we would stay again as price was right for what we were looking for.

Customer service was great. Facilities are run down. Furniture in the room is worn, scratched, and the paint is pealing. Cleanliness is ok...found a used toothbrush under the sink. If the rooms were updated it would be much better.

We stay at laquintas when traveling. They are nicer than normal, however we have to say that this one is of less quality than what we are accustomed to. They charge for pets also, most hotels in the la quinta chain that we have enjoyed don't. We felt the room was well used and messy upon arrival

Did not promise the room I wanted I booked 4 months in advance they said they had computer problems, so they gave me an old room. The towels has spaghetti stains on it, the bed sheets didn’t smell fresh. I would never stay there again & I’m their regular customer. Soooo disappointed.

The facility needs remideled and is outdated to the point where the carpet needs restretchdd in all the main hallways, the rooms were clean but a bit run down. I had a broken hairdryer which was broken enough to be a fire hazard. Towels for 3 only in a 2 queen bedroom which was inconvenient but was able to ask the front desk for more.
My biggest concern is the pool. The pooland hottub chemical balance was so off that it bleached oit my swim suit, others suits, and caused chemical burns on a friends baby that was also staying there. Im still itchy after taking a shower and feel like there is a layer of bkeach on top of my skin. Did make front desk aware and justnsaid theyd make management aware.
Staff at front desk most of the time was easy to work with an accommodating.

Our only complaint is our room was freezing. The thermostat was set at 53 degrees and we couldn’t figure out how to change it.
The staff was wonderful. Queen Suites with food out couches meant everyone in my large family had a place to sleep. The breakfast options were a great way to start the day. La Quinta’s pet friendly policy is much appreciated.

Beware, this property is on the very old side! Pictures do not tell the truth about this property!! The front desk gal seemed bothered by me wanting to ck in. No welcoming smiles at all. Yes, we arrived on the early side, but her attitude was the same when we came back later. The carpets are absolutely disgusting, filthy dirty, and have dangerous raised areas that caused us to trip a few times. We stayed on the 2nd floor. The company needs to replace the carpets!!! The elevator has old wood/laminate panels and smells. Our “family” room was surface clean, but dust & grime under the tables in the carpet. Same with the bathroom, under the counter was dusty and gross, and the shower tiles were funky dirty. The heater had to burn off the dust & stunk for quite some time. I almost asked to switch rooms. Our door handle didn’t work properly either! In order to close the door, I had pull the inside handle upward and at the same time, pull the outside handle upward as well & then it would close. Extremely awkward!!! I was told they are going to replace the handles soon & that the new ones are on the property, but waiting to be switched out. If the property is aware of this issue, why would you put a guest through the hassles? Get on it!! I should’ve told them about all of our issues, even refuse to stay there, but it was too late to get another hotel. I will not stay at this hotel EVER again, no matter the price offered!

The best place we stayed in the area. Great pool with I think saltwater, great breakfast and serving lady. Great staff! We’d definitely stay again. Loved the bed and the balcony! The pub was good too for an appt and a beverage.

Just a couple glitches
It was a family reunion. We had the breakfast every morning and noted the eggs had a funny taste after they cooled. Also, a male, young trainee at the front desk didn’t provide efficient or friendly service. He should be schooled in “hospitality”. Otherwise, all was well. We’ve stayed there before and also noted some of the facilities need updating. The hot tub and pool were still great.

I don’t know if it’s just this particular La Quinta or if it’s the new policy at all La Quintas but this one had me fill out a long form with all my basic information plus another long form form the dog. As other hotel chains have a much more steam lined process resulting in the check in process taking 2 minutes as opposed to the 10-15 minute process with La Quinta we will not be staying here again. Too bad because the property and room is very nice. Check in experience ruined it for me.

Fantastic hotel at a reasonable price!
Spacious room with flooring instead of carpet, plantation shutters, comfortable bed, small fridge and microwave in the room.Appreciated the closet's full-length mirror, clothes hook near the shower as well as back of the door, lighted mirror in bathroom, alarm clock next to the bed, generous complimentary breakfast and nice eating area. Friendly, helpful staff - especially Maria in the breakfast bar area. I wish the counter area in the bathroom was bigger, but other than that, very pleased with the hotel, and we will definitely stay here again!

Great for families
Stayed at this hotel with my husband and kids. We were going to a nearby pumpkin patch so I needed some thing that was decent for the kids and close to Dewey Arizona. The rooms were the perfect size for us since we were only staying a couple nights and everything was clean and well put together! I always worry about the TVs working when we get there, but everything was working just fine and the Internet worked perfectly the entire time! Rooms have to be well insulated because there was a room filled with family next to us and we never heard a peep. Breakfast in the morning was small, but was perfect enough to fill you up! I didn’t get to even look at the pool, but wish we would have! All the staff was very friendly and accommodating in the whole hotel was clean and beautiful!

Nice room, clean, loved the French doors out the back. Had a hard time getting the right key. Front desk was kinda grumpy.

The La Quinta Inn and Suites is located on the south side of Prescott, 6 miles from downtown Prescott. We stayed at the La Quinta for 4 days. While the room was rather spacious, it was not as clean, as furnished, or as well kept as one might expect from a 3 star hotel. For example, the lamp shades were chipped, the corners of the mirrors had not been cleaned as well as the rest of the mirror, the mini-fridge did not fit the cabinet in which it was housed, so the cabinet doors did not close (and the temperature knob had been removed so you could not adjust the temperature of the fridge), etc. In addition, the stairs in the stairwell were dirty (vacuumed the penultimate day of our stay) and the hallway carpets stained. The variety of breakfast items was average. On a positive note, even though our room faced the highway, the room was most quiet. And the hotel features a number of amenities. The onsite pub, Coopers Pub, which is operated separately from La Quinta, had a quite good sandwich and a nice variety of beers. All-in-all this particular La Quinta was rather average.

Stellar breakfast serving lady!
The biggest shout out I need to give is that the breakfast lady was truly the most friendly, kind and helpful one I have ever met in my hotel experiences! She greeted every person, brought people silverware and napkins to their table if she saw they missed getting them. She smiled and was super helpful and was constantly keeping the food replenished and the tables wiped and clean! The breakfast person is the "face" your guests tend to see and experience the most, so she gives clients an excellent feel about staying there! The room was very clean and nice as well. It would have been nice if your hot food choices weren't the exact same every single day. A little bit of variety would have been very nice.

The front desk lady was very unfriendly. The hotel hallway going to the rooms smelled disgusting, the room was so stinky I had to go to the desk to get a deodorant spray. The lady at the desk handed my an unlabeled spray bottle to spray in the room. My husband pulled out the nightstand to find the electric plug in and found a heap of beer cap lids. I was super disappointed with the room. The photos online do not represent the actual hotel or accommodations. The pool door was broken, ourselves and other guests were standing in the hallway trying to use our keys. The staff was fumbling and left to call maintenance. Meanwhile a couple came through the back door and let us in. The pool and hot tub was dirty and cracked around the pool. Very poor experience. There were kids screaming and running up and down the hallway. One gentleman staff took care of it right away. Breakfast was mediocre at best. The breakfast lady was SUPER NICE AND KIND!She should go work somewhere else. I will NEVER stay here again.

We selected this hotel because we thought we were taking our pet which we eventually did not take. It does have a little order of dogs, not bad, but if you don't have pets you might object. As a place that takes pets it is great. Very spacious room, wonderful morning breakfast with helpful staff and great seating everywhere. Loved Coopers Pub. A wonderful family runs this and it beats a lot of the restaurants in town. Loved our little patio area that we spent some evening time on. Bring a bottle of wine and enjoy the surroundings. We would definitely stay again.

The rooms were specious, clean, and loved the walk-in shower, the microwave, the refrigerator and although coffee and tea was available at the lobby area day and night, the coffee maker in the room. I enjoyed the fact that it was adjacent to a non-affiliated pub. The food was good and listening to karaoke was fun.

Lobby Fine, Actual Hotel Rooms Hideous!
Don’t trust the high reviews, this hotel was no joke “the dumps”! Lobby looks good and is fine, but you get to the actual rooms and they are hideous.
Staff is nice but honestly it is an old hotel and extremely run down…zero upkeep.

Easy check-in. Everything clean, bed must have a pillowtop, so comfortable! Like-new towels. Most definitely enjoyed opening the doors onto the balcony to take in the view and fresh air as it rained. Great breakfast!

Very disappointed with the hotel even attempted to give them a second chance to redeem themselves instead, they didn’t. When we walked up to the room the carpet seemed old and dirty. Room key wouldn’t work. But what was most disappointing the fact the sheets had multiple hairs inside the bed, We were offered a different room or offered clean sheets. We took the offer for the second room when we inspected the sheets we noticed hair again and a dirty pillow. We were offered another room and yes 3 chances. The next room sheets had dog hairs. We left and stayed elsewhere. The next day the manager called us and offered to redeem themselves and blamed the dirty rooms due a male maid who had previos reprimands regarding dirty rooms.
Hotels can’t always blame the lack of on one person. It appears to me that issues have been known and not corrected. I don’t know to many people that gives a hotel 3 chances to redeem themselves and fail. We will not stay here

Would choose different hotel next time
Our room was near the back entrance where we requested since we were pulling a trailer. The exterior door to the parking never locked. A sign is posted saying door locked 24 hours. Since our room was next to entrance it made me uncomfortable. I reported the issue to the front desk, but it was never fixed during our stay. There were 2 pillows in each bed that were flat. Very uncomfortable. The vanity sink is in the same room as toilet and shower. With 4 people getting ready this was an inconvenience. Morning breakfast had a nice selection. Not sure if hotel is associated with Coopers Pub, but food was horrible along with the service.

We didn't stay and ended up forgoing our reservation due to us booking the wrong nights. We phoned Orbitz who phoned hotel and Indikaur (?)/manager offered to change our dates without penalty on a non-refundable reservation (but higher per night rate). We didn't take the option as we were able to find cheap hotels to bail us out, but so very nice of manager to try to help us. Thank you so much Indikaur for your customer service. We travel a lot and will keep La Quinta top on our list for future bookings.

Bed was uncomfortable. Pillows were flat as can be. Shower filled up with water when in use. The AC unit in room was very loud. Also, there must have been a water heater or Pipe behind the wall
