This hotel for the price was great. It had many food and drink options near by and good access to highways. Breakfast was included and above average for hotels these days. Beds were comfortable and the hotel was very clean. Hot tub and pool was nice but the jets were not functioning well. All and all, I would recommend this hotel if your like me and don’t spend much time at your accommodation when traveling.

This was a great option for affordable and convenient location for food and freeway access. The free breakfast was great! The bedding was great! The dark out shades were excellent! The soap provided was good quality! It was quiet even though close to a freeway. There was a nice beer pub next door that we ate at twice in a weekend. The parking lot was a little strange but we would definitely stay again!

The staff is amazing and super helpful! They were always willing to accommodate our requests. It’s a nicely renovated hotel and the breakfast is decent. The area around is interesting but good is easy to walk to and the restaurant next door is awesome and friendly as well! The pool area is the only drawback just because it’s a weird place to hang by the pool with the highway beside it and a big billboard and power lines. But still a great place to stay!!!

Meh.... Tempe hotel
This hotel is right on the freeway. I was startled several times during my 1 night stay by super loud vehicles seemingly racing right outside my window. The hotel is outdated, dingy and understaffed. Desk folks weren't very friendly.There is a brewery next door but it was similarly understaffed and mismanaged. I don't think I could stay here again.

The hotel is centrally located! Easy walk to downtown and parks.
It rained and our room was on the ground floor which caused some water issues. The carpet was soaked under the window. We weren’t sure if the AC was leaking or the rain seeped in. It was taken care of by maintenance but there was a musty smell.
Breakfast and coffee were great!
Location was ideal!
Price was reasonable.
It was quiet and I would stay again.

The stay was excellent, great staff, clean rooms with coffee maker, refrigerator, microwave, and breakfast in the morning downstairs.Convenient, close to the airport and freeway. I would definitely book a stay there again.

Worst Holiday Inn experience ever
This is the worse experience I’ve ever had with a Holidat Inn Express! After my husband checked in and went to grab something to eat, he came back to his room being a mess! Someone else entered his room without consent and stole some of his personal items. When he told the front desk, they only apologized and gave him points. WTH is he going to do with that?!?! The staff did not want to investigate if it was their wrong doing of assigning someone else his room or if a staff entered the room and took his items. Talk about feeling vulnerable away from home. At the end of the stay, they didn’t even want to give him a receipt! Worse hotel service I’ve experienced and I will never return and never recommend this hotel.

I was very impressed with how clean this place is. I love that they have Dove products that are dispensed in pump bottles. Pretty nice hotel to rest in for short stays.

This hotel is in a great location. Less than 15 minutes to Old Town Scottsdale and everywhere I needed to go. The staff so so friendly and they made me feel so welcomed. The only downside to this hotel is, if you are a light sleeper, do not get the bottom floor facing the freeway. It is very loud. Everything else is great.

Property needs some repairs
Overall experience was good from check in to check out. The hot tub jets didn’t work our entire stay we reported it the first night nothing was fixed and no update or follow up given. The music in the pool area also never worked. That is issue was also never fixed or addressed with a follow up. The door in our bathroom is broken. The bathroom fan is extremely loud, probably needs to be replaced.

Graduation trip
I loved the hotel. A very midcentury modern vibe and seemed newly renovated. Beds were very comfortable, loved the black out shade on the window with the Phoenix sun as it is, like dark in the day time. Breakfast was a great selection and tasted good. Staff was very friendly. Close to a great restaurant Macayos, for vegetarians the Veggie fajita plate was awesome and relatively cheap! Also, a close walk to the beautiful Tempe Town Lake which is actually a river, but so beautiful at night! Loved this place and location.

I like that the property was centrally located and right off the 202 freeway. There are plenty of eateries and also the Tempe town lake within walking distance. Being so close to the freeway did make it a bit noisy but not unbearably. The staff was friendly and accommodating as well. Overall I feel most woukd enjoy their stay here.

Saved my trip to AZ.
Nice hotel, with clean rooms and comfortable beds. Breakfast was great, with scrambled eggs, omelets, bacon, sausage patties, pancakes, etc.
It was the best part of my trip to Arizona.

Booked a room here and the room was nice. Bed was comfortable and staff was friendly. One gripe I had was that I could easily hear people in the hallway as they walked by or walking into the room adjacent to mine. The gap between the bottom of my door and the floor was noticeable so I’m guessing that’s why I could hear every little thing. It’s next to the freeway as well so you can hear the louder vehicle as they sped through. Other than that I enjoyed my stay.

Great place, but rooms could be compare to a tiny house? I think even for a slim perso. You would have to maneuver thru the bathroom. I am oversize, I had to really think on how to get into bathroom. The only way that room could have been smaller would be by putting toilet in shower stall. Breakfast options were limited, I expected at least a few more options for the style of hotel.

I was notified quickly when I reserved a room through a 3rd party that I might not be able to get a room because of graduation at ASU. But they helped me get a room and made sure I was checked in right away when I called to confirm. Pretty easy process. Rooms were clean. It’s in a good area with a lot of places to eat and enjoy the night life.

Staff were good and rooms were clean. The area outside is under construction so there was dust/grit blowing into pool area and frequently dirt and stones tracked in from the parking lot. Several stray cats roaming the property including the patio outside the breakfast area. Hot tub didn't heat. The property can only be accessed from one side of the Street so one has to go a block or two down and turn around in order to get into the parking lot.

The rooms are REALLY well-appointed, as in they utilize every inch to be useful and it works! I especially like the long wooden platform that holds 3 carryon suitcases - much better than having to stoop down to suitcases on the floor! I also like that the shower and toilet are separate from the sink area, so the people using the toilet could close the door and enjoy some privacy without taking up the entire bathroom. Also, the shower is close enough to the door that you could reach the towel hanging on the door - little things that bring me happiness!
Another good thing about this hotel is the signature free breakfast - eggs, sausage patties, pancakes, pastries, breads, fruits, yogurt - sausages are surprisingly clean-tasting and everything looks and taste fresh! The dining room itself is not very big, but we managed to find seats on both mornings.
But the best part are its people - my daughter slept in one morning and missed breakfast, so I went to the front desk to ask if I could get some food for her as the breakfast bar was already closed. Victor was really nice and gave me some fruits, muffins and apple juice to bring to her. Wonderful young man and very helpful! I will totally return again, although I wish they have firmer pillows.
