There is no longer a bar for a cocktail pre-dinner or post dinner. The beautiful lounge area that we always enjoyed is no a pseudo work center.

I had a stain in the middle of the room for my whole stay (see google review for pictures) Staff would say they would take care of it but never did. I checked out today and went to a different hotel! Also the rate through expedia was 100 less per night than what then ended up charging. I stayed there last October for a week and all was well, it was a different hotel this time!

We really enjoyed our stay. The room was big but not as described on Orbitz. We stayed in the Hudson King and Orbitz described as 538 sq ft but it was more like 400. It had a couch which was nice. The staff was really friendly. Great location and away from all the busy areas but there was a subway stop near so that was nice. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Everyone at the Dominick was incredible! Nima was very helpful. The location was perfect. Quiet, not so busy, and our room on the 38th floor could not have been better!

I stayed one night and it was a great experience. First of all, my view was amazing. Highly recommemd booking a SoHi view room if possible. The staff was so friendly and helpful. I had a car and the doorman gave me a great tip to park along the street as it was free after 6. The restaurant attached to the hotel has a dress code and I didn't want to change out of my sweats, so the concierge suggested a wonderful option within walking distance. They were also very accomodating with checkout. I had a massage in the morning and it was no issue for them to allow me to checkout an hour late so I could shower and dress afterward. I enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend.

The views are the absolute best in NYC. The staff is very polite and attentive. We have stayed in most of the high end hotels in NYC and this is the best. Plus so much less crowded are than those closer to Central Park and the area offers shopping along the same level.

The facilities were in disrepair (automatic blinds didn't work, shower leaked), there was no hot water two separate mornings, very poor lighting in the room, TV was not really viewable from the bed. For a luxury hotel, we really expected much more. To their credit, the front desk staff gave us a credit because of the hot water issues.
On the plus side, the spa was nice and had some unique treatments, but no healthy snacks. The food from room service was delicious. And the doormen were great.

We only stayed one night, and wish we had one more…Beautiful view from our room… freedom tower! Cozy and gorgeous…. Loved the bathroom and bath products. Loved the bathtub(though we weren’t able to use it because of our short stay).. extremely comfortable bed, and such lovely bedding! Lots of drawer space for 2, and the vanity in the bathroom has drawers that were perfect for storing the amount of toiletry items and cases…
Paid parking lot (not associated with the hotel), right across the street… reasonable rates.
Very courteous staff, and such a gorgeous lobby… I wish we would have had another night, as there were wonderful restaurants on property.
The neighborhood has many restaurants and shops in walking distance, given its legendary location.
Highly recommend!! Thanks for a great , though short, stay!

Less crowded neighborhood than mid-town during the holiday season, so much easier to get restaurant reservations. Easy walkability to the Village and above, and to both westside and eastside subway systems. Excellent SoHo restaurants and shopping in neighborhood of hotel.

There was a wait for the elevators every time we used them Twice we had to wait 20 min or longer to get on an elevator A staff member said the issue has been going on for months but the ownership refuses to fix the problem

The only issue is when stay on the 23th floor, maybe it’s closer to the kitchen, I can smell the kitchen cooking . Like cooking oil or fried something.

The elevators took about 5-6 minutes every time which made it quite frustrating. In addition, and due to the elevators, the staff at the front were held up which added additional time when I was in a rush. The rooms are also not at all worth the price. They are quite basic and not what I expected. The walls are also extremely thin so I heard my neighbors frequently. Absolutely wouldn’t stay again.

Incredibly Uplifting stay at the Dominick
I am not typically one to write reviews, however I will make an exception for The Dominick . We were in NYC for a family gathering. I made the reservation on the flight to NYC, never having been to this hotel. I have traveled extensively, but never have I been in a hotel where 100% of the staff were exceptionally kind, courteous, delightful. From the doorway of the hotel to the front desk staff to the wait staff and the room cleaners. Everyone was just incredible. The hotel is spotless, perhaps a tiny bit dated, BUT clean and neat. It was a JOY to stay there. Makes me feel there is still humanity in humans. Make no mistake about it, we will stay there again and again for the place, for the people who work there and for the fact that kindness still exists in this world , at the nexus of Soho and Tribeca in NYC! Amazing!

Skyline suite was spacious and nice. Large bathroom and tub overlooking city. Furniture was starting to look worn. Door greeters were often absent and reception was a bit stuffy. From our 26th floor room off elevator we could hear much of the clearly hear guest traffic and conversations. Hotel credit seemed a bit of a waste on breakfast which was just average and expensive.

Be careful of the hidden taxes and fees! To begin with, it was quite expensive to book at the Dominick but knowing NYC hotels we wanted to splurge a bit and enjoy our time. When we checked in we had the reservation through Expedia and our reservation allowed us to have $87 on food and drinks per day, but when we checked in the clerk informed us that it was once for the total trip. When we checked out, we were surprised with what is called a destination fee of more than $50 a day, despite all the fees and taxes that were paid when we reserved the hotel. It is an average hotel by all standards but with all the hidden fees and misleading statements it ends up being more expensive than the initial expectation.

Is just ok. Certainly not a luxury hotel. Lobby is nice but the rooms are very average. Nice soap but a bit out of date and very few rooms have actual views. Front desk was accommodating. Just a lot of money for a courtyard Marriott with a nice lobby.

The Dominick is a wonderful hotel and the accommodations are quite beautiful.. Our room was excellent. The staff were courteous and helpful. The other parts of the hotel were spotless and beautifully decorated. Why not 5 star experience? 2 reasons. 1st...our jets in the tub in our room didn't work nor did the steam room ( which by the way is a spectacular addition to any hotel room). The rest of our room was amazing from bed to shower. 2nd...we waited over an hour to be served our food (omelets not prepared we ordered) at their Mezzanine restaurant. I think that they were understaffed and overwhelmed. I had to go ask the waiter about our food order. Despite the above, Our hotel stay was only 1 night. I would stay at the hotel again as the rest of my experience was fantastic!

My ac did not work all night for a 700 a night room. Check out girl did not ask me how my stay was and did not credit me back my credit. I have stayed here many times before but not sure if I’m returning.

The Dominick is truly special because of their staff who go above and beyond to make their guests feel like VIPs.
In particular Mohendra on the front desk, George from the Luxury Ambassador team and all the wonderful people who work at the pool terrace.
Simply wonderful people, large bedrooms with huge picture windows and luxury products in the bathrooms.
Can’t wait to return!

Hotel was nice and clean. Service was good. People are friendly. Only thing is it is very pricey for what it is, everything at the hotel is very expensive. One hot tea ( one tea bag and hot water ) is $18. Everything is very expensive

Room was advertised as a two bedroom suite, it was two bedrooms with a connecting door.
Rooms are in average at best condition and cleaning is not very detailed.

Staying at The Dominick was an outstanding experience in every way. The reception staff was happy to accommodate our request for a corner room and the view we had was spectacular. The room itself was comfy and spacious with a beautiful bathroom.
Hotel is also conveniently located between Upper and Lower Manhattan, making it easy to explore New York.

Bed was super comfy. Carpet in room really needs a good shampooing— spotty and grungy looking. Other than that, the room was nice. Staff was mostly very helpful and friendly. Location is good— short walk to the Hudson to the west and to great shops and restaurants to the east. But generally the hotel has nothing about it that makes it stand out from the crowd, except that it seems more expensive than many.

Veey expensive breakfast.
12 dollars for an orange juice
9 dollars for a Cappuccino size hot chocolate.
Overall the rooms are advertised as 539 sq ft but thats not the case

Excellent stay at the Dominick
Excellent property in a vibrant neighborhood close to many great restaurants and sights. We got upgraded to a skyline room and the views were fantastic. The spa facilities were also very high quality. We did not get to sample the onsite restaurant but definitely will next time! Overall, a great romantic long weekend getaway, we would definitely stay here again!

I want to give a big thanks to Gabriela front desk agent speak Spanish she was a big help she so welcoming professional just the best customer service she gave me mr Daniel was okay he still charge me 400 hold I believe it was a lot still think 600 for only two days is a lot should be 100 dollars a night my room needs painting walls stretch the view was beautiful amazing house keeping was not to nice need more Spanish speaker front desk and housekeeper too

It was my first time staying at this hotel and my experience could have not been more positive. The Dominick is An amazing hotel with beautiful rooms and happy friendly staff who are so welcoming at all times. Everyone from the greeters at the front to the staff at reception and the housekeeping were genuinely interested in ensuring the guests were happy and had everything they needed. The location is ideal so close & so central to all my favourite NYC neighbourhoods, Soho, Noho, Tribeca, Greenwich village and the Hudson River. I absolutely loved my stay. Can’t wait to go back.

My AC was broken and I had to follow up five times with four people before they changed my room. That is not how I wanted to spend my first day in NYC. One of the door guys did not care about my safety when I told him I was uncomfortable with a guy walking around me drinking booze from a brown paper bag. He said don’t worry he has a girlfriend. I’m sure having a girlfriend hasn’t stopped people from raping, robbing and murdering.
