Will be back
This super 8 hotel was in a perfect place for our business trip. Will definitely stay here again. The hotel was clean and well taken care of. Little bit of traffic outside the building but definitely no problem. Just wish the front door clerk would have smiled and been more friendly. Will definitely be back.

Reasonably priced, close to my destination with restaurants and retail outlets close by and the room was adequate. It is close to two busy roads and could be a bit loud at times.

We liked there was so many restaurant choices in the intersection.
We didn't like the neighbors in 218 came in late around 11pm and stayed up late and were noisey until 2:30am.
I was so mad I wanted to kick the guys ass.

I’ve stayed here before. It’s convenient when traveling down 81. Beds are clean and comfortable. I just don’t get how hotels still have rugs. That’s my only “complaint” and really it isn’t that. They also offer breakfast in the morning which I always appreciate.

When we drove up it was apparant the women that would be checking us in was sitting outside smoking a cigarette. I went in and had to wait until she finished her cigarette. When she finally came in she gave me a dirty look, and did not speak to me. No greeting at all. She was rude and reeked so badly of cigarette smoke I almost gagged. The room was clean but noisy.

My 3 children, husband and I all stayed in a double queen room and it was perfect. Very peaceful and quite. We stayed 2 nights and hiked up to Humpback Rock in between. It was all the most perfect experience. Thank you Super 8 Waynesboro!

Just a stop thru while on a road trip

During my journey break, I stayed at this place for one night. The staff was pretty friendly, and they served a good breakfast. The location was convenient, not far from the highway, and there were some excellent restaurants nearby for dinner. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

I woke up with a brown hair in my mouth from the covers on my first night there.
The bed moved when I’m sitting up watching TV..
the Air conditioning, when I walked into the room it was hot about 2 hours later it became comfortable.

Best part was the exit

It’s a ok place to stay for a few hours while you’re traveling. No elevators available if some would need that assistance. The room was your average bed with a TV. The area is close to places to grab food. Anyone that is looking for a place under $100.00 while on the road headed to or from a vacation it’s a good place to stay.

We were looking for a reasonably price room that was clean and quiet. The front desk persons both on check-in and check-out were present and helpful.
We didn’t eat breakfast there. We were happy to be able to walk across the street to the Panera the two times we wanted food.

Don’t waste your money.
Hotel smells from the time you enter. No elevator and no handicap access. Very dated. Comforters and towels stained. Tub dirty. Hair dryer old and nasty, doesn’t get warm. It is bad to the point that I had to check for bed bugs before getting in the bed. Front desk lady is rude. I was traveling alone, no way I would take children to this hotel. Do not recommend for anyone.

Carpet was sticky....bathroom floor sticky and covered in brown stain.....onion like smell so bad upon arrival that we had to air out room for 2 hours. Then at 8 am in the morning a dog barked incessantly because its owner had left the room and left the dog behind. Staff was pleasant, but property and entire experience was terrible.

Seemed pretty run down and the lady checking us in was less than inviting. Seemed like we were a hassle to serve. Bathroom was way less than expected. Beds were comfortable, had a decent TV and good Wifi.

There is no elevator in this hotel. The lady at the front desk did switch us fron 3rd to 2nd floor. That helped but if you have problems with steps stay away. For some reason they had a big box of fresh garlic??? delivered while we were checking in. It made the whole place smell like garlic.

Staff was friendly but the access to the room on the 1st floor still requires steps and carrying one’s luggage down those stairs. Don’t know how the elderly do it. Good location for food - the housekeeping offered to help with luggage when I was leaving that was kind of him.

It was clean, convenient, generally quiet, and fairly priced. Finding your way (up two streets and around) to the entrance is a little tricky upon arrival. Also, I was hoping for a room on a higher floor, but the only one available was on the ground floor (a half-flight down, so that windows are at pavement level). It all turned out fine, however.

Room was clean, bed/pillows were soft, desk had a funky chair that folded down to slide under but would also not let you raise up, so I sat like a kid all day. Hallways were clean but stairways needed vacuuming every day I was there. Its right on a corner off the hwy so very convenient and close to lots of restaurants n shopping. Overall was nice but not THAT nice. Would stay here again.

It was clean, nothing fancy. 3 step down. The next night we had to stay in a Red Roof Inn that had no elevator, so three steps weren’t bad. Not a lot of options for the continental breakfast , nor space, but better than Covid times.

There had been hair still in the shower and on the sink. We had stayed for two nights, and put up the do not disturb sign while we were out for the day and it had been completely disregarded as we found that they had come into our room while we were gone.

Could not believe a three story hotel does not have an elevator. With severe back stenosis, I had to carry my luggage up and down 3 stories. What pain I endured!
I could not step over the bathtub to shower so wash basin sponge bath was all I could manage. I left 2 days early and lost the money for that. I willNEVER EVER stay in a”Super 8” again!

No Frills Hotel for a inexpensive night traveling
For the price of just an overnight stay traveling home, it was ok. It's a no frills hotel. The shower bathroom ceiling was a little mouldy in the corner. The receptionist was busy working on her computer when I stood in front of her for 5 minutes and she didn't acknowledge me. But when she did acknowledge me, she was nice.

I've been staying at this Super 8 for the last 4 or 5 yrs and they've made improvements every time I've stayed from redoing the rooms to the outside appearance and adding security lighting. One of the latest improvements is the front desk area and breakfast area though small for the price point it's sufficient. The location is really close to interstate easy off and on. It's close to all kinds of restaurants and shopping places many of which are in walking distance. The owners are very friendly and accommodateing.

What a mistake staying here. I should have paid the difference and stayed in another hotel in Waynesboro. The lobby reeked of cigarette smoke and the free breakfast is basically cereal. The room I booked was for two queen beds, but the hotel doesn’t even have queen sized beds. The rooms with two beds all have double beds. I measured them myself and when I asked at the front desk they told me tough and that’s all they have. I’m not sure how Expedia allows this misrepresentation. Overall point is stay somewhere else.

Windows locked, could not open.
Room smelled badly.
Heating unit did not work with clean air, very old with loud noises.
Staff tried to be helpful, with no management on site.
Could not get a refund and leave.
