What a great find for us. Able to walk to the beach. Property was nice and nice room. We were picked up at the hotel and drove us into town. Would highly recommend this place.

You can't beat the price on cleanliness and location. Great location from the beach, although beach access across the street is closed at the moment. There's a shopping center across the street and the pier is a short drive up the street.Its the only place my wife and I like to stay when we're in the area.

The staff was very nice and the hotel was clean and comfortable. Enjoyed the balcony with the ocean view. We were able to walk to a pizza restaurant for dinner. Definitely would recommend and will stay here again.

Quiet and relaxing
Trip with the family to see the amazing Holiday lights around Old Town. Hotel was excellent with a friendly staff. We were thankful for the EV chargers working as they were a big reason we choose this Hotel

The location was fantastic, quick drive to Historic St. Augustine and other attractions. Walking distance of the beach which was beautiful. The staff was very accommodating and nice, very clean room and plenty of space for my husband and I. We came here on our baby moon and wouldn’t change a thing. Breakfast was also the best part of the stay, a lot of variety and all fresh and tasty.

Employee, Michelle was a delight. She made our stay comfortable and made sure we were taken care of. They had hot free coffee/ tea avaliable for guests
The free breakfast was good. They had a waffle station, pastries, cereal and yogurt.
The room was a single king with a partial ocean view. The room was clean as well as the patio. We were able to get our standing shower request.
We will stay again one day!

Noises all night long in upper floor.
Staff was nice as well as the fascility. But, another guests kept us awake making noises until 2:30 am. Notified staff around 9:00 pm, then at midnight. But, when called the front desk at 2:00 am, nobody answered.

The staff was very helpful, the room big and comfortable. I think that the price was a little high, but maybe was for the date. The beach is a few steps, that was a marvelous surprise because we were able to enjoy a beautiful sunrise . If you want to go to the Historic Site is only a 7 minutes by car.

The rooms are not modern and it took us moving to 3 different rooms because of the smell. It had a wet, musty smell. The carpet was dirty and the towels were dingy! Very disappointed for the price!!!

Nice beach getaway 😎
Cameron at the front desk provides exceptional customer service. From the moment we checked in he made us feel at home. Philip who was covering the breakfast buffet was on point at all times. Never ran out of coffee and delicious menu items. We will be back again next year.

We have stayed here many times but this time was different. Room was missing many things, channel guide, safe did not work , only one chair on balcony. Room did not get cleaned at all one day.

This is a nice property and it's ok. The breakfast was great although the lady restocking the breakfast options was really interested in her phone. We had a suite room 337 , the sink in the bathroom did not drain and there was a dog pee stain near the sliding balcony door. On our second night there were barking dogs in the hallway. This property has a LOT of dogs staying with their owners. During breakfast they bring their dogs. We never exited or entered without seeing nasty dogs.
I will not stay here again. For $755 for two nights I feel I can do better.

I was there with my husband & 2 dogs on Thursday to celebrate (our birthdays) I had entered special request in comments but didn't seem to accommodating. We were put on 3rd floor with 2 dogs. Thought I was getting view but got put right above pool area. Not good for dogs. Room smelled moldy, box spring material was showing & stained, rusty wet bar sink & rusty metal chairs on balcony. I requested to be moved. The next room was on 2nd floor other side of bldg. It smelled fresh & no rust in sink, box spring cover intact but toilet seat loose, light next to bed was out, (turned out it was just unplugged), woven seats on balcony, 1 had 2 holes/tears bottom bar on fridge missing, my husband said it's due to rust on bottom of it. (which I advised Front desk upon check out (i took pics upon ckin) They did not have a maintenance person available so a hskp ca tome assist. He tightened toilet seat w/ a pair of scissors. Odd but Glad it got fixed. Appears the 1st room still needed to be renovated. Noticed mismatched chairs on every balcony. Very disappointed in this hotel for a Hilton brand.

Initial room was musty...had a soaking wet carpet due to posisbky leaking AC unit? Also broken sliding glass door. Brought to staff attention and first was told a work order was already in for the room....so, if you had an active work order...why rent out the room?? Then was told no open rooms to move us into...then after pushing they found another room. So, clearly they were not full. Too $$$ for that much aggravation and spent 1 out of 3 nights in a smelly wet room.

My husband and I stayed on the third floor as soon as we walked in, we experience a dirt and humidity smell. I contact the front desk and ask if that room was cleaned before we got there they say that the room needs to be requested 24h previous . The next day there was these young girl at the front desk, and I ask if she can make sure that our room was clean properly. She said that she was going to make sure but to be honest when we went back to the hotel it still extremely dirty I noticed that the bed comforter had a yellow stain. I remove the comforter and I drop it on the floor with a note saying dirty, so when we came back from the town, I noticed that the housekeeping put the same bed comforter the one on the floo, back to the bed. I think this has been the most disgusting experience ever. We had a great few days in the town, but definitely at the time to go back to sleep We were disgusted by the place. I ask for new towels, sheets and a new bed comforter, I spray some perfume around the room, but it was definitely the most disgusting experience that I have ever experience. When we were leaving, there was a veteran sharering the elevator with us & he asked us how was our experience we told them not good, and he reply mine neither I’m been fighting with the front desk about my room. There was something regarding a poop experience. My opinion; stay away from this hotel there is a lot of other options that you can find with a better price and definitely cleaner.

I liked that is was an easy on, easy off the island. I liked that the beach and Publix supermarket were a five minute walk. I liked that a really good restaurant was within a ten minute walk. I didn't like that the shower curtain allowed water to go on the floor and I had to put towels down, only thing I didn't like about my entire stay. Breakfast buffet was also quite good, pool and spa were clean. My entire stay was quite nice and price was good. Looking forward to my return visit in 6 months.

Close to the beach, area was quiet but accessible and near all of the options and craziness that St. Augustine affords with the laid-back beach vibe of Old Florida. Vilano is nicely tucked away and Hampton Inn Vilano made for a great getaway for the family that we can't wait to come back to!

NO mattress covers # 1 , rug is musty, lack of house keeping bed was made with sheets backwards, sheets all hung on 1 side, pool has mold all around nothing that a trim scrubbing to remove THE GREEN. pillows outside lounge need new covers have alot of use & stains. good location just needs a little tender, love & care . same hand prints inside elevator all week LONG which should be wiped down once a day . Cafeteria was freshly cleaned & great breakfast.

We loved staying here! Everything was very clean, staff was friendly and helpful, and the location within walking distance to the beach and restaurants/shops was perfect. My only complaint is that the elevator made really frightening noises and we decided to take the stairs for the rest of our stay. But we would definitely stay here again!

Upon arrival we were greeted by a nice young lady who checked us in. The lobby was nice. Our room was decent and clean. We used the laundry facilities and it was ok. The laundry room itself has black mold on the ceiling tile and the washing machine wasn’t cleanest. But other than that, it was a great stay. My older kids did the the ghost tour back in town, so slept in a little a missed breakfast. But Publix is cross the street, so it was very nice to just walk over to pickup some yogurts and fruits. I’m definitely coming back for a stay here at this Hampton.

The Hotel is half renovated from our preview visit, a few years ago. The staff on reception is practically nule, the phone key never works . We didn't try the breakfast. The bed had a dent on one side so sunk in the mattress. Not really what we expected. The Good is the quiet location, and the beach nice and clean. You need to have a restaurant inside the hotel it will be a plus.

Both excellent and with concerns
We were very pleased with the overall cleanliness of the building and room. Staff were continuously cleaning and resupplying the lobby area. The breakfast choices and attendant were amazing. The facility is only a block's walk to the beach, convenient to shopping, and really wonderful. The only issue we had was with the entrance door to our room (214) which slammed so fast that it almost knocked me and even my husband down when first entering. I am in a sling from an injury and was not able to open it quick enough to facilitate getting into the room without being hit by the door. So my husband had to open the door for me. Also, the door jamb is severely loose as if someone has tried to break into it.

This hotel is top notch. Only a 2 minute walk to the beach and employees are very friendly. My only negative is why can’t they have a fitted sheet that fits the bed? Just sitting on the bed causes the fitted sheet to come loose in the corners.
