Uncomfortable, dirty, and overpriced
This place is awful. Wifi cuts in and out constantly, floors are dirty and were never replaced post water damage, room is very small, mattress was ancient with coils that dug into our back. Owner was nice but talked endlessly without any sense of how tired an arriving guest might be. Total rip-off.

Rated too high
The high rating for this hotel is not accurate. This is an average hotel. Floor was buckled, toilet seat too small, bed soft, fixtures old but functional. Only coffee in the lobby. OK for a quick overnight, but I wouldn't pay more than $80.

Hotel room was great for a short stay for a wedding. Close enough to get around Bristol and the area easily while being far enough away to be affordably priced. AC unit was loud, but thankfully able to be turned off after the room cooled down. Bed was comfortable. Bare bones accomodations, but the price was right. Staff was friendly. Nice stay.

When I went to check in and used my card it declined thank God I checked with my online banking cause the hotel was paid they were going to turn me away with my handicap husband in a wheelchair😡 the situation was taken care of when I showed that my bank paid for the room!!!! Another issue was the price when I booked it said $64.00 dollars I was charged $84.99 with tax it was a $100.54 dollars, why say one price and charge another to the consumer very bad for business!!!!!

The property charged over $250/night, the room was in poor condition (vinyl floor peeling up, shower needed calking, entire facility needed a remodel). The room was not made up on any day (4 night stay). Generally, an old run-down facility that over charged for the quality of the facility and the service provided. Do not stay here. Go some place else.

I would not recommend staying here. Very overpriced for what you get. The room smelled like mold the whole time. There were also cockroaches in the bathroom. The beds are also very uncomfortable.

I arrived a little early and was able to check in. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The area around was quiet and several fast food restaurants are within 2 blocks. Access to I-81 is very easy and a 24 hour gas station is 100 yards away. The room was clean and comfortable and wi-fi worked well.

Hard to find.
Apparently the city is in the middle of renumbering the street. The address listed on hotels.com and confirmed by the desk clerk by phone now belongs to a vacant lot. This was frustrating after a long day on the road, especially after the clerk insinuated the city was wrong and we were stupid. According to the hotels.com page, the hotel has an elevator. IT DOESN'T. Because of the hotel's design, there may not be any ground level rooms. Or maybe there weren't any available. But we're in our 70's and it's no fun dragging baggage up and down stairs.

It was ok for sleeping at night. No breakfast, no elevator. Was clean. The bed is smaller than a queen size, and it was not too comfortable. The pillows were very uncomfortable, I had a headache the next morning. Overall, it was fine.

My wife panicked when she found a lady bug on her pillow. The back door doesn't latch. Not sure I'd feel safe if a single woman traveling alone. The bed was comfortable. The place was quiet. I got a good night sleep for a very reasonable rate.

Considerable time checking in for 2 rooms nor that close to each other . Reservations made well in advance should have been closer together. $90.00 for each room not much value at all. Will try another motel chain before using red roof again

Check in was difficult because of glass partition at front desk. Smoking area just outside the door when you leave, stinks like smoke. Two night stay, bath towels were stained, and only got bath towels replaced, not wash clothes on second day. Ran out of tissues first night, didn’t get anymore during our stay. Card for door didn’t work on our second day, had to go have them reset.

THIS WAS OUR SECOND STAY HERE AS WE WERE ATTENDING A RACE AT BRISTOL SPEEDWAY. AS WE HAD HOPED THE ROOMS WERE AS CLEAN AS LAST TIME AND THE STAFF AND OWNER WERE VERY PLEASANT !!

I gave it a shot as it was listed as and 8 star rating. It was old and dated (but it was clean) and just before bed, I killed a spider, not easy to fall asleep after that. :(

This property has easy access the the highway and is close to restaurants and downtown Bristol.
The hotel is a bit outdated, but the price wasn’t bad for a one night stay.

This place is a dump and upon arriving there were people that appeared to be homeless and maybe living in cars hanging around parking lot. There was no one at counter and a hand written note saying be back in 5. My wife would not even get out of the car she was so scared. When the front desk clerk came I told him we would not stay the night there and to not charge it to my cc. He said that he would not. He stated that the men hanging all around worked there. It did not appear that they did as the way they were dressed

Pay the extra and stay somewhere decent. Schetchy check in service, beat up window unit only heats for about 5 minutes then have to unplug then plug back in to get another 5 minutes. Shower disgusting and full of others pubic hair!!! Don’t be cheap it’s not worth it

Very nice hotel for traveling with pets
Very nice hotel - i always like Red Roof Inn because we like to travel with our dog. This Red Roof was especially nice. Comfortable bed and nice room altogether. The lady at check in was very nice.

Blanket on bed dirty, bathroom was dirty with hair everywhere. Floor was also not very clean, dead bugs in corners and foor was warped and bumpy. For the price not worth it.

Ok Overnight Stay
This is an older motel but reading the reviews I decided to book a room. I was quite surprised. It's clean, comfortable and everything worked in our room. Don't expect plus towels or bedding here, but all were adequate. They only provide coffee which was decent. We could easily get breakfast right down the street.

Room was very pleasant. I’m personally not a big fan of the floors they put in motels lately-much prefer carpet, but that is just a personal opinion. Room was clean. Bed very comfortable. Good hot water and water pressure.

The gentleman that checked us in was very nice, our room was clean and the hot water in the shower was great! The parking lot was very well lit so I felt comfortable making several trips out to my car. The best part was no extra charge for our dog.

This is one of the better places to stay when looking for a spot close to the highway when traveling. The person who checked us in (and checked us out the next morning) was efficient and kind. After check-in, we decided to go for a walk after a day of sitting in the car ... when he saw us heading out, he made a point of asking us if everything was ok. Clean, quiet and a comfortable bed ... all was great!

Had very late check in after over 14 hr drive; was quick. Room clean; wish they offered a small breakfast; not really trusting coffee 24/7; who knows how old. My towels would be changed out every day but bed not made. Is that a new thing? Otherwise convenient location.

The property is run down. Beds are uncomfortable. Air conditioning in the room was cracked and seemed to be hanging on by a thread. The clock showed the wrong time and could not be changed.
The proprietor was nice and helpful, but that does not make up for the poor condition of the hotel.

We had two rooms. Room one was quiet as there was no one on the floor above us, but room two was noisy because of 3rd floor guests. Beds were fine as far as comfort but pillows were flat and old. Air conditioner worked but the cover was missing, junky looking. For the price it was fine (we were there on a festival weekend and all hotel prices were very high) but I wouldn’t stay there again.

The room was good, not fancy, but clean with a good bed and good shower. It had a couple of small issues; the flooring was coming up in one area and the window would not lock. (But we were on the second floor) Overall it was a good place to stay.
