It was worst evet
I couldn't check in because door was not opening
No one at the front desk over more than 2 hours we called no one answer
I menage to open front door but there were no one to check in
I had to go to other hotel to sleep and next morning we went to check in tbey act like nothing happen they did not know i was there
Even we call best western corporate office
I guess they think this kind of episode can happen when it was 25 degree outside
They were nice enough gave me $50 discount for next one day

Breakfast had very limited options. There was a long wait time with way too many people.
Basic items like butter and cream cheese were out so it left a few options for vegetarian people.
Also the WiFi was very slow and could be used on laptop. The speed test never went above 1 mbps.

Worst service with arrogant and manners less staff
Front desk member including manager were highly rude and treated people like they are giving free stay to people. Also, staff did not do anything when we complained about noisy guests in room above us with their kids running for hours at 11pm/ Worst service with worst attitude of staff members.

There was nothing unique about the property, all pretty standard.

I booked a room it was confirmed, arrived and my room was down graded. When I asked , the clerk did not know the difference between a suite and a king room. She was zero help and rude .

I love how convenient the parking area outside of the hotel. I didn't like how most of the front desk people are not friendly and it seems like I bother them when I was asking for more towels because I didn't have enough in the room.

What a gem! This hotel had a perfect location to everything we had planned in the area. Staff was welcoming and pleasant! Room was very spacious, clean, and quiet! Area felt safe walking at night. Breakfast was good. Loved that there was a different variety each morning! Only bummer was the pool being closed for the season but we understand. Would definitely book here again!!! Very good value for the price!

Everything was great EXCEPT the heating and cooling system in the room. It was in Celsius with no apparent way to change to Fahrenheit, and it wouldn't remain at a steady temp. The fan blew right across the room and was loud. But other than that, the property was good.

BW has all the things/amenities that is needed compared to other accommodations I’ve had in the past. Clean, neat and orderly. I’m usually not one to rate things/ places but I sure liked BW. It’s my first time at best western and will surely use it in the future.

This was a great stay, clean, spacious rooms, and friendly staff. We asked to change rooms, to get 2 queens and a better view (we were looking at the parking lot at first. They easily accommodated our request. The breakfast was also above what I was expecting for a free breakfast, it was actually great, with lots of options.
If we are back in this area, we will stay again for sure.

With the exception of one woman, the desk staff was so incredibly rude and barely acknowledged us or spoke. Also- the hallways constantly had trash and carts left out and literally smelled like poop. The rooms didn’t get cleaned- we were there for 3 days and not once did we get our trash taken out and had to do it ourselves. The air conditioner is so old and gross, the sound was so intolerable even ear plugs didn’t help us sleep at night. The bathroom was awful- the shower basically dropped water down like a coffee drip.. slow and awful. No hand soap… just disgusting and dirty experience from the hallways to the rooms to the carpets and smell. So overpriced because of the location. Weird things were broken like the tub faucet, the buttons on the old elevator, workers were constantly like in our face and rude. I’ve just never had a worse experience at a hotel

I booked an accessible room in error. My husband was a bit upset as we don’t require accommodations, the front desk attendant rudely said check your booking confirmation. No offer of an alternative room. Right now I am sitting in the basement of the hotel. The curtains don’t close completely so everyone walking by can see us on the bed. I’m using my hair lips to keep them shut.

The stay was OK, but the breakfast that was included in the payment was terrible: when we came to eat in the morning basically all the plates were empty !. Only bread and butter.
When we asked why they told us that it takes time to prepare food... We asked when it would be ready and they told us that they were working. One hour later it was still empty. They told us that they do not have food...

Front receptionist Charley was rude and condescending multiple times somehow during a one-night stay. This started from when we first arrived until we checked out. Her conduct was truly baffling since she appeared to be upset at anyone and everyone from our check-in to check-out.
The bedroom mattress was lumpy, there was a long hair sitting under newly-placed folded towels, tissue box missing, single-ply toilet roll, shower head was installed pointing towards the wall, etc.
The breakfast buffet did not have utensils, they were out of milk, eggs, etc. There was no one around to ask for help, other than Charley, who was texting on her phone and ignored me when I said "good morning," at which point I turned and left the hotel to avoid further frustration.

Breakfast was excellent. I realize the hotel was short staffed, and I wasn’t bothered by no morning turnover by housekeeping for a 2-night stay.
I did have one issue, though: The smoke detector started chirping around 2am on my first night. In the morning, I asked at the front desk for it to be addressed. When I came back midday, it still hadn’t been fixed, so I asked again. And by 5pm—still no action. I was disappointed by the lack of service on something that directly impacts my sleep and stay.

Rooms were good and clean but the tv didn’t work. When the front desk was called they treated us like morns for not knowing how to turn on a tv. But they couldn’t do it either… we were told the manager was going to come fix it but never showed up. Staff was unprofessional. Also we had to wait an additional 2 hours after check in time because the room wasn’t cleaned yet. I found that very frustrating! After driving 8 hours and just wanting to relax having to wait around longer.

A very disappointing stay
We checked in at the hotel on 10/9 and checked out on 10/11. There were quite a few issues we found in the room. We made the front desk aware of the issues, for which they apologized for the inconvenience and told me they would make the housekeeping aware of the issue. Here are the issues found in our room.
1. There was no soap/body wash in the shower. Had to use shampoo to shower.
2. Bath tub was draining very slowly. so when you are showering you are basically showering in a puddle of soapy dirty bath water.
3. Bath towels left in the room had yellow stains.
4. The sink was draining very slowly. so by the time you brush, there is a puddle of water.
5. The phone in the room didn't work, so you can't call the front desk about any issues, you have to go back to the lobby to make them aware of any issues.
6. Wi-Fi in the room didn't work 95% of the time.
7. TV didn't work, I believe it was missing the power chord.

I was satisfied with our stay and had nothing but good things to say until 9pm at night when we received a noise complaint. I was a bit confused because we didn’t seem to be very loud, but we listened and told the kids they had to sit and watch tv rather than play with each other. Well, 15 minutes later and we received another noise complaint call. It was due to my 22lb, 13 month toddler walking around the room. I asked what I was supposed to do considering we can no longer walk in our room at 9pm and was told we had to figure it out and could go to the lobby. Mind you, yes, the walls (floors) were paper thin, and we could hear everything from our upstairs neighbors and all through the night. But that is common in many hotels, so we did not complain. Additionally, 9pm seems to be a little early to expect “quiet hours” when the pool isn’t even closed at that time.
Overall this is very unfortunate and an absolute deal breaker. We only stayed at this hotel for a total of 16 hours and could not walk on the floor for at least 10 of them without getting a complaint called on us.
In summary, the pool was nice, breakfast was good, location was nice, floor was dirty, room was loud throughout the night, costumer service not ideal.

Check in staff were less than friendly. After a long day of hiking we were anxious for a warm shower but there was no shampoo or conditioner. It took them 4 hours to bring them to our room even after we went to front desk to get it ourselves.

It's a great place! Pool and hot tub are wonderful. The only reason I didnt rate them with a perfect score was because they were out of soap and didn't have the staff to clean the room on the 2nd day.

Disapointing. Temp control impossible to regulate to consistent comfort range. No soap at either sink and only given some soap begrudgingly by lady at front desk.Grit on floor.Old food in fridge. Someone running a 5k in the room above. Nice breakfast room, good breakfast. Spacious rooms.

It is a beautiful, clean property but very understaffed. The breakfast was amazing! The room was lacking even basic amenities, not because they weren’t available but because the cleaning staff failed to properly stock the room.

The room was nice size and clean but the air conditioner didn’t work well. They said that breakfast was served until 9:30 but everything was gone at 9 and the staff got mad when we complained. The floors were disgusting by the food area and elevator. Even the ice maker didn’t work. They ran out of coffee but when they finally replaced the coffee, there were no cups. Smoking should not be right by front door.

We arrived Sunday night and staff was very friendly to quickly checking us in, we had the Junior Suite which includes a microwave and fridge, we get to put a lot of water & soda in for the canyon trips. The body wash's missing so I had to go to the front desk to retrieve some.
It's at the perfect location in my opinion because it's within 5 minutes walking radius of most major restaurants you wanted to try while you stay there. Parking was also convenient.
We went to Horseshoe Bend for sunrise, came back for Breakfast and was surprised on the variety of food provided, I loved the blueberry waffles I get to pour in myself, it was delicious.
Only issue we had was the quality of complimentary wifi, it is really slow and occasionally disconnects itself, my service provider is AT&T and it gave me horrible signals, so at the time I cannot use my data nor the Wifi.

I don’t have any opinions on the room because we spent an hour waiting for a room even after checks-in time.
However, I wish I could give a zero star for service — Charlie (so-called front desk manager) at the front desk was astonishingly rude and actively unhelpful. We came in trying to check in at 4:01 and she said she has no idea when any rooms would be ready. Mind you, this is a random Monday in October (not a holiday weekend or anything like that). Rae at the front desk was also quite unapologetic and told me that there was not even one clean room in existence in the entire hotel even at 4:39pm. I witnessed one guest asking if he could just clean his own room and check in that way.
At any rate, considering I’ve been in at the other side of the desk (worked as a front desk agent in my college days) I understand that housekeeping may be understaffed certain days and that’s beyond the front desk agent’s power. However, it is certainly in the front desk agent’s power to show some sort of empathy — she also did not smile even once and just overall had a very sour expression and just did not care to make us feel welcome; in fact, she made us feel as unwelcome as possible.
I finally called Expedia and had them cancel the reservation at 5:02pm. Expedia was helpful and not only cancelled, they relocated us to Courtyard by Marriott for no added charge.

Easy to spot a hotel and large parking lot.couple issues we had was missing body wash but not that we it disadvantaged of all service, then some breakfast items were frozen, crowded during breakfast time maybe more stuff to help clean up and bring refreshments

Good stay for the money
Overall good experience, when we got there at 7pm it took a min to get my keys because housekeeping wasn't answering about room being ready, but it should have been by 4 so that was strange. As soon as we got in the toilet was clogged and when called all we got was well bring up a plunger. Which I should not have had to do that. And the door latch was broken so a little unnerving. But overall stay was good, breakfast was great overall a good stay but those issues need to be addressed.

One of the worst and the most terrible hotels I ever stayed during the last 40 years.
Stayed there 3 nights. The room wasn’t cleaned or touched even once, towels haven’t been changed. When we asked why, we got the unbelievable answer that the hotel is full and they didn’t have time for us, the whole 3 nights!!!
Breakfast- total mess, dirty floor, tables and serving areas, run out of juice, coffee, bagels, cream cheese and even plates, overflowing garbage cans. Felt like ridiculous struggle to get food in decent and normal conditions.
Total shame for hotel chain like Best Western Plus.

Loved the pool deck and hottub that got full sun until sunset. Pool was too cold to swim, they should heat it.
Front desk woman was very unwelcoming, crabby, does not seem to like her job and was quite rude.

The lady at the front desk was very unfriendly and unaccommodating. We arrived early and she didn’t even attempt to see if there was a possibility for early check-in. She was abrupt and impatient. She was annoyed and inconvenienced when we asked to use the lobby washroom. Front desk people should be hospitable, not make you grumpy and wish you stayed somewhere else before you even see your room.
