You can see the owner has tried to dress up an old Motel but unfortunately they have no security controlling the individuals camping out on their doorsteps at all hours.

Hotel was nasty, paid for a king bed but got a queen, they did not clean the room daily nor did they change your towels and wash cloths. I had to ask for bathroom tissue, the bedding was full of cigarette burns. Just a terrible Hotel.

Charged me for a deposit for cleanliness deposit. After a walk-through on the day of checkout, refunded $3.00 less than what I out as deposit. The room was immaculate but they called it a service charge.

NOT a good experience.
I was traveling with a small dog and will never stay at this location again. The room smelled bad every time I walked in it. There was hair found all over, not sure the bed sheets were even changed. The bedspread was disgustingly dirty and it looked like blood on the curtains where you close them. They charged me an extra "cleaning fee" because I have a small dog - if you are going to charge me, clean the room you put me in. The price of the room was inflated because there was a home football game, not worth half of what I paid.

Our room was supposed to be non smoking. It had the smell of smoke and the sickening sweet deodorant used to cover up the smoke. Throughout the night we could smell smoke coming from other rooms.

No elevators, each floor was very hot!! The entire building smelled like a grow. Definitely not a place for children. It was very quiet and walking distance to Cookout.

FOUL SMELLING SHEETS
Very Poor Service, Room was Dirty when I Checked in. Had to wait for them to clean the room. They did not change the bed sheets, sheets had a Foul Smell. I requested a motel that served breakfast,
NO BREAKFAST. NOT EVEN A CUP OF COFFEE.
Don't Stay At This Motel.

At the time of check-in the clerk explained that everything is broken.
Sheets not clean and required housekeeping to change the sheets.
Their advert about services mentions morning breakfast bar. Not true... no coffee and only the first night was there coffee in the room.
Will never stay there again!

There was no elevator and we were on third floor. Said breakfast included but they did not even have coffee in lobby! Smell of smoke in hallway was very strong. Room was clean but will not stay there again. For the price it was below expectation. They did have a tiny coffee pot is room but would not use as not sure it was sanitary

FILTHY. Absolutely DISGUSTING. The grossest, dirtiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The air conditioner was coated in a THICK layer of dust/dirt. Also the lobby was hot. Way overpriced. Wouldn’t spend a cent to stay there again, definitely not $90. If this was the only hotel I could stay in, I’ll sleep in my truck.

The room did not have a king-sized bed that I requested. The housekeeping was still cleaning the room.

Do not stay here unless you want to be disrupted
We got there to check in around 430 and had to wait on a room. The type room we booked was not available so we had to pay more for a double bed room on the 3rd floor of all places. So we had to climb 4 sets of stairs with heavy rolling luggage bags. The beds were extremely smaller than queen size and uncomfortable. My husband had to go down to the car around 11 pm , and he was stopped by some colored guys and they had been outside cussing and yelling for a good hour by this time but they were askiing for money wanting change to finish their laundry at the laundromat they claimed. needless to say we got no sleep because they were right down below our window and loud all night. The hotel doesnt serve breakfast right now cause of corona i assume which is stupid because you sharing a whole floor with others not wearing masks. The maintenance person was outside our room at midnight in a closet being loud. The people beside us were fighting all night and name calling each other. Doors were slamming non stop all night. So the next morning we booked the room for two nights and i called and called the front desk from my cell because there was no phone in the room. No one answered me for about an hour so i messaged hotels.com and chatted with an agent to let them know we wanted a refund for the sec night cause whn we left for breakfast there were used needles laying outside where those guys had been all night and we were not gonna stay there another night for sure. We got our money

Comfortable beds. That’s about it.
The beds were really comfortable but there was no toilet paper in the room and when we walked in the door to go to our room it’s smelled like marijuana. We also had to pay $149 at check in and it wasn’t made clear as to why a late check out fee would cost that much. We won’t be returning to this hotel. It looks nothing like the pictures.

Don’t waste your time
Was staying while having house repair done and the room was musky and dirty. The bed was hard and uncomfortable. I ended up leaving and getting another room after about an hour.

Comforable. Not a complete waste of money
Finding the place was easy and simple located near slot of food. Checking in was a breeze after finding out I could have saved money just walking in. The only thing I did not agree with was the chain on my door was broken I like to have that extra sense of security. After requesting a late check out at noon. The housekeeper came to my door more than once around 11.30 basically rushing me out "claiming" my late check out hadn't been mentioned to her. (Which when I requested, I was told that my name couldn't be found and they were under the impression someone other than myself was in my room) I found that to be strange she asked for my first and last name. Very ODD. But the bed is comfortable & it's a good spot not far from the in lnterstate

Unpleasant hotel
1. Bed was comfortable
2. There was no indication of a pet fee on yours or their website. $35.00 we weren't expecting

Heard music and loud talking outside our window, right outside our window at 1 AM
4. Hallway smelled like skunk
This was a last minute trip so I didn't investigate like I normally do. I will not make that mistake again.

Booked a Non-smoking King...the room did not seem smoked in, but the entire hallway smelled like every room besides mine had been chain smoking for years. Bed was okay, not great. Room seemed clean with new/clean tub Front desk staff was rude and cleaning staff was loud and nosey. I would not stay again just because of ownership

A pleasant surprise
Certainly not the fanciest place and zero frills and I was a bit skeptical at first but I found it to be a decent value for the money I paid. I stayed two nights and housekeeping did a nice job. The bed and pillows were actually quite comfortable. I believe I would stay here again.

Hotels.com experience frustrating.
Rooms were clean, cool, clean linens, plenty of towels, decent bathrooms, some cosmetic damage from where they are actively working on improvements. NO Elevator or ice machine. Strong smell of cleaners in the room. Very strong smell of smoke in all hallways. Would NOT want to stay on first floor (half underground).
Biggest frustration was that I was unable to change my reservation, even more than 24 hours ahead. I attempted to cut our stay short by one day. Hotel claims they cannot change reservations booked by Hotels.com;Hotels.com claim they cannot cancel the second day -- must have canceled before 4pm the day before the first day of our stay. Penalty was 100% fee. Neither organization was very useful to fix this. Will not deal with hotels.com again.
Locals were hanging out in the parking lot next door drinking / smoking on Friday evening. It seems scary, but there were no problems from this, no issues in the parking lot, no trash or damage to any cars. Hotel was very quiet all night.

sometimes you get what you pay for. Start with the positive. It is located near shopping and only a short drive to Clemson University if that is your destination. Now the not so good. We had to replace the fridge because of the mold in the original one. Cheaper hotels usually mean cheaper walls. You can hear everything in the hall and the next rooms. Not muffled very much at all. The thin walls made if very easy to hear the trash removal truck that was scheduled for 3 am for some reason. Disappointed at how much noise and how late it was tolerated. The room itself was comfortable, nothing fancy, but I was paying for fancy. Enough towels, soap and cups for the amount of guests would have been nice. Who likes tracking down the maid for more of those? It was a bed and a shower for a little over a hundred dollars. Not a great family hotel, but I'm sure it's other patrons were fine with it.

Our Last Choice If We Have To Stay Again.
Stay was for 4. Only 2 towels in the bathroom. We were met at our room by the front desk staff telling us that we had to change rooms because someone else was in the room she gave us. The entire hotel smelled like stale cigarette smoke as soon as you walked in. No conditioner and only 1 small bottle of shampoo. Breakfast was a joke. Had waffles, but no butter. Had toast but no butter. Hot oatmeal consisted of instant you had to make yourself. And hotel staff having a very loud conversation in the lobby on their personal cell phone for our breakfast entertainment.

Closest available hotel to Clemson football game
This hotel's staff is rude. They don't care about the customers at all or their needs. The rooms are basic. Bugs were in the rooms. The pillows were hard. People in the halls all night long screaming and yelling. This is the second time I stayed after a football game. These people had not gone to the game. They were drunk locals, shut up at 5 AM. I called front desk, told nothing they can do. Don't go to this dump!

It was pretty much a smoke filled hallway.
Smoke was coming in under the doors, the window only opened about 5 inches. We bought Febreeze to help. It was awful.

Reasonable price, clean rooms and good staff
We only stayed one night after a Clemson football game. Arrived around midnight and were checked in quickly. There is no elevator but we only had a couple of bags. The stair way smelled of smoke but our room was good.

Nearest hotel to Clemson on game day. the parking lot was small. the breakfast area was way too small, only 2 tables. The rooms were noisy, the hallways were dimly lit. the parking lot had people coming and going all night long.

I would not recommend this hotel.

OK place to sleep
No elevator had to climb 3 flights of stairs with luggage. Room had bad smell. Supposed to be non smoking room but smelled like smoke
