The hotel is located right off the interstate 10. It's in an farming community. The facility is a bit dated, but it's fairly clean. The staff was friendly and courteous. The only issue is the freeway noise during the night time due to the constant truck traffic.

First and last time here
I chose this place because reviews seemed good. Unfortunately that was not my experience. I was in a room on the interstate side of the building so it had constant road noise that kept me awake most of the night. The bed was so hard and uncomfortable. It was not a good night at all for me. The shower worked well and had good pressure in an old very worn tub.

The only issue I had was check in was a nightmare either Expedia or a quality inn in Benson messed up. It took us over one hour to check in. It was booked on my phone but the hotel had no confirmation and I didn’t have a confirmation but it showed it was booked on my phone, so it took a little bit of to get it figured out.

Anytime I travel I am sensitive to homeless people near the hotel. Did not see any when we drove in. The hotel is right off the interstate which was convenient.

Everything was perfect! Conveniently located off I-10, it was perfect for a stay- over breaking up a long trip. All the staff was so friendly, everything was spotless from the entrance to our room. It will be my choice if ever have need to stay in Benson again. Their breakfast was excellent also, from eggs, sausage, sausage gravy and biscuits to waffles, fresh fruit, yogurt and hot/cold cereals! Exceptional place!

We booked a king non smoking room. When we got there we had flat screen tv, microwave and frig. Even had a lil balcony with sliding door… wooden floors not nasty carpet. Loved it.. staff was very friendly and free breakfast every day. Eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy.. or waffles.

Definitely not what I expected, DO YOUR RESEARCH people. Front desk be more careful next time when handing out keys, what happened could’ve been prevented. I recommend you guys staying at Comfort Inn, was more safe.

If you really need a place to stop…
I was attending an early event in town the next day and thought I should stay instead of leaving from my house 2 hours away. Overall it was an “ok” place to stay. The good stuff: check in was clean and the girl at the front was nice, was quick, and helpful. They gave me a room that was not used for pets as requested. The basics were available in the room, towels, cold a/c, tv, bed, fridge, and the other items worked with no issues. Overall, the room was good. The “not good” stuff: sound from the nearby freeway at night, there were multiple (5) black beetle looking bugs I saw roaming the floor that I had to catch and flush- probably due to the lower wall flashing peeling away from the wall in spots and leaving gaps for the bugs to crawl out, two moths- one that found my pillow comfy, a wad of dried tobacco on the floor toward the front of the bed, some nuts outer peels on the floor, and the bed mattress- felt quite worn in and slightly sloped toward the edges.
Would I stay again? If I were a traveler and had to stop for a place overnight I might but I would request a 2nd story room in the main building to keep off the ground level and away from the bugs. If I attended the event again next year I would just stay home and leave 2 hours earlier.

With the setup, even folded tp to a point. No cob webs on lamp shades. Get rid of junk cars in overflow parking it devalues the property. Overall I was pleased. Will book again.

"Kids stay free." We had to ask for extra towels, and when they came, it was the same set as they usually give to 2 adults. No towels for the children? What a weird thing to leave off.
Bathroom could use some updating. Little piles of crud in the spaces where the tiles were too short; some mold in spots, especially by the soap dish in the shower wall.
Room was very humid. Towels stayed damp--which was why we had to ask for more on the 2nd day--and remained damp until we left the day after that.
The room was clean enough, but some little things were done casually, such as only wiping the front half of a towel rod. Not a big deal, but some signs of not really paying attention to details.
Last, but not least, there was a portion of the bed frame that stuck out beyond the edge of the box spring. It was covered by the dust ruffle, which kept it from being noticed. Hubs scraped his leg on it more than once. It genuinely hurt, and is a safety issue.
On the plus side, all the staff was very courteous. We got our extra towels within about 5 minutes.
The beds were comfy and the a/c worked well.
Very nice breakfast, included eggs, good patty sausage, sausage gravy, biscuits (a bit dense), cereals, fruit, yogurt, juice, coffee, and a waffle maker. Extra kudos to the "breakfast lady," who kept everything stocked and was helpful.

Property is "vintage" but otherwise clean. We did pick this location due to them having a hot tub and it was not working. Now, the front desk person did contact maintenance to fix it, which was done and it worked well by 8pm. Pool closed at 10pm so plenty of time to soak. When myself, husband and child went out to the hot tub the staff and their friends and relatives all decided to join us. It was just unprofessional to have this happen when it became not about the paying client but about having the hot tub working again so let's invite everyone we know to enjoy my complaint that was luckily fixed. Unfortunately, we would not recommend this location due to this incident.

Grossed out towel
The receptionist was friendly and polite, the room was ok. But, I was majorly grossed out when I showered. The towel smelled really bad, so I dropped it to the floor and that’s when I found a 2 inch black hair stuck to me (I had dried my face, that’s when I noticed it stunk)!!! Someone else’s hair!!!

The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything your neighbors do and I mean everything! Our upstairs neighbor must have turned her water on and off 30 times. Our refrigerator was so loud it woke me up and kept me awake till I finally got up and unplugged it. Other than that it wasn't bad. Better off to stay upstairs.....

Every single staff person we met was friendly! Special thanks to the nicest woman in charge of breakfast. It include sausage, biscuits, eggs, waffles and the regular "staples". She was working extremely hard and was super friendly to everyone . . . give her a raise :-)
This location is good for visiting Kartchner Caverns SP - highly recommended.

Pros: It's a nice place to stay in right off the road.. Place was clean and well maintained.. The staff was friendly and professional.. The morning breakfast between 6-9am that was simple; but delicious.
Cons: The pillows were soft/comfortable, but the beds not so much.. They were a tad firmer than what we're use to.. But overall, we liked it and would definitely return; thank you.

Our first breakfast there was fantastic, they were fully stocked with eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, coffee, yogurt etc. friendly staff in the breakfast room, the second breakfast was a bit less organized, but still the staff was working hard to make things right. I felt even though the area around the hotel was very vacant (except for "Benson Donuts" across the street Great donuts by the way) the parking was lighted and felt safe. Overall, I will definitely stay here the next time I'm in Benson Az. Great size fridge, nice size microwave, coffee in the room. My only disappointment was the pool and hot tub were not open, this was in December, but the weather was great, I was hopeful that at least the hot tub would be open but no. Overall Great place to stay!

Room was clean. Our room faced the highway so it was kind of loud and I’m a light sleeper so I have to put on white noise.
The ground looked clean and the staff was friendly. Breakfast was good and the breakfast attendant was nice.
I would stay here again but maybe another side of the property.

Hotel is by train tracks. Train whistles going off constantly. Neighbors kept going in & out of their room when they arrived late in the evening & when they left early in the morning. Walls are thin so you could feel & hear door banging each time & hear a lot from their room. Not a place for others bothered by these types of noises. Otherwise it’s fine.

The first room I got had a door that would not bolt and had a broken safety latch, there was a plastic bag covering the smoke detector, and there were bugs in the bathroom. I demanded a new room, that one also had bugs.

Noce Place to Stay in a Nice Little Town.
Benson is a small community, very close to Tucson, AZ, so the hotel does not have a lot of movement. Everybody was very kind and helpful, the place was impeccable. Very pleased with it. I'd come back to it.

Pratt Inn is an excellent place to stay!! Great location, friendly staff, very clean and neat motel, we enjoyed the pool and hot tub. We arrived on a Wed evening and was told to our surprise they have a complimentary dinner being served! After a long day of travel, it was nice not to pack up little grandkids to go out for dinner! Breakfast was also very good. Highly recommend!!

The property is older and that makes the rooms feel kind of dirty. The main issue with this hotel is the noise. I stay in this hotel a LOT and it seems like other guests are always partying in the pool, having parties, or sitting outside smoking and talking which makes it difficult to sleep sometimes.

Very nice staff, better than many more expensive hotels. But cleaning standards are low- esp. the bathroom and grounds. This is a motel not hotel.
