Property is not as clean as it used to be. Elevator floor was filthy, almost like it was being used for construction. Room had a musty damp smell upon entering and the bathroom was not very clean. The water pressure was non existent so. Also the HVAC system was very loud, when clicking on. Bedding linen did not smell fresh. Lastly internet was out of service the entire 2 night stay. I was not informed of this upon check in and was only told after asking the front desk for WiFi log in instructions.

The staff were friendly. The rooms clean and the pool area was nice. I would recommend this hotel. We did not eat at the cafe which seemed to have limited hours.

After a 28 hour travel day to get to Clemson, Vee at the Marriott courtyard made our stay wonderful and relaxing. If my daughter ends up at Clemson, we will definitely make this our home away from home.

Great stay.
It was one of the best stays weāve had in a long time from a hotel in any brand. Clean, comfortable, great staff, fresh made coffee for purchase in lobby vs that stale carafe. And the price was very reasonable.

Definitely coming back
The outside of the hotel was very clean and neat, with pretty flowers. The inside lobby was very nice and clean. The entire hotel had a modern appearance and was very comfortable. I loved having the extra space in the shower to put things or sit on.

A little disappointed
Wonderful hotel but disappointed in the fact that there was no free breakfast or coffee. Yes, I know there is coffee that you make in the room but 99% of the hotels I have stayed in offer continental breakfast. After spending 150/night isnāt it work breakfast and coffee.

Front desk person was nice during our late check-in, but the room had problems. First, the TV did not work. We arrived around 11:00pm, so we didnāt complain about the TV ā it was time for bed anyway ā but then we discovered that the toilet in the room wasnāt working either. The toilet handle had come loose and would not trigger a flush. I fixed that myself, but then we learned the toilet would not āemptyā even when we got the flush working. Then, the next morning, we found out that breakfast was not included in the room rate ā a surprise vs. the other Courtyards we have stayed at in the past. We paid approx. $170 for this room night, but it felt like an $89 valueā¦

Erika behind the bistro was super to us and Z was just the best staff member to help us get our group together as we prepared to leave for a wedding (45 minute bus ride to the mountains). We had a splendid time!

One of the beat hotels near Clemson.
One of the best places near Clemson. You pay a little more but the staff is high quality and they know what they are doing. The property is what you expect from a Marriot and from a quality hotel.
I have found a little cheaper around the university and some are good, but you get what you pay for and Marriot knows how to run a property.
It was very clean. People were professional and very courteous, even if we did not like the answer. They tried to make the stay enjoyable and not frustrating.
I have tried many near the university and they are one of the bests.

Comfortable & clean.
The young lady at the front desk (whose name Iām blanking on right now) made check-in a breezeā¦ very efficient & friendly even though she was helping us, the phone was ringing, and another customer kept coming to the counter to ask her questions. The room itself was clean & comfortable. Just remember to stop at a convenience store beforehand because the āmarketā at the hotel is pricy ($20 for 3 gatorades & a small bag of chips).

Would stay again.
This was the cleanest and nicest hotel on our trip. We stayed at other Courtyard Marriotts and they werenāt nearly as clean and nice.
My only complaint was someone in a near by room was smoking and our bathroom smelt like smoke. I had to keep the bathroom door closed to keep the room from smelling bad.

Water pressure in the bathroom sink was non-existent. It was a trickle - hard to wash ur face or brush teeth. We called the front desk who said they would send maintenance but we never saw any difference. Also - the internet was non compatible with my work laptop. Very hard to get connection.

Friendly service and rooms are clean. They did not keep fresh coffee in the lobby during the day, it was old and luke warm. The grab and go breakfast leaves a little to be desired. Please add any kind of fruit to your breakfast in the mornings and not just sweets.

Breakfast was non-existent, fire pit was one of the reasons I chose this hotel because of family history with enjoying a fire and comradery. Staff was absolutely non-responsive to our request over 4 days to get it working!!!! Room next door door had the alarm going off very early and not turning off. Staff refused to follow thru and correct the early morning rooster!!!!
Will not stay here again.......too many other options!!!!

No coffee in lobby. I usually stay at Hampton or Garden Inn.. will never switch to Marriott. Just asking for a simple cup of coffee with my rate, a shower cap, body lotion and mouth wash, bottle of water (none are included). Itās not like its an inexpensive place either.
I do like the Smart TV though, and the room was very nice.

Very nice room, however bring your own pillows because they are not comfortable. The breakfast (eggs and bacon) was mediocre in a cardboard box with no plate for $12. Overall, the hotel was nice and in a good area. A nice touch would have been complimentary coffee in the lobby in the morning.
