We were in the 9th floor and we could hear the music from the lobby and from the street. There were trucks loading at 3am. We were supposed to stay 2 nights but I couldn't stay the second night as I needed to sleep. The front desk was courteous and did not charge us a penalty for the cancellation. Also, the beds are not comfortable at all. The room was nice and clean

Cody was amazing!! my sister does not take elevators and he made sure he accommodated us safely to and from our room in the stairway. What a great hotel and great staff.

All the staff were amazingly helpful and super friendly. Room was the perfect size and location was great too. My only complaint is how noisy it was outside when trying to sleep. Constant sirens and horn honking. That’s out of the property’s control but thought I’d mention for those who are light sleepers or have little ones.

The hotel is in the middle of a very vibrant part of town with theater and music and restaurants. It is very loud at night, especially on Saturdays. I ended up switching my room to the side of the hotel away from the street which helped a little bit but it was still pretty loud. Other than that it was a great experience

I was impressed with the room - it was very stylish and cool! The staff had fulfilled an amenity request made by my family and I was pleased and surprised with the wine and chocolate covered strawberries! The location was f a nyastic and it got our New England tour off to a wonderful start!

Very nice, perfect location, superb staff. If you're looking for a luxe hotel in the heart of Boston with a posh vibe you're in the right place. The bed was comfy, loved all the high end touches in the bathroom. Because this was an emergency stay for me due to a cancelled flight I didn't get to take advantage of all the amenities offered, but there were many - along with extra perks. Perfect for sightseeing!

Property was fine. Limited interaction with staff, so that is fine too. The noise was out of control. Friday & Sat. nights from midnight until 4AM. People yelling, screaming, motor bike "gang" revving their engines & doing wheelies until all hours. It was unbearable & impossible to sleep. Noise cancelling headphones did nothing to silence it. Never a gain.

What I didn't like is there are fees that extend beyond the expedia balance and everytime they charge your card they require an additional 100 dollars for" Security" so im waiting on 200 dollars to be credited back to me . Additionally there are several different charges. There isn't just one charge at check out. I have 5 different charges.

Amazing hotel experience! Possibly the most hands on concierge experience we have ever had. Marianne is absolutely incredible and I can't say enough about how amazing she was in helping plan our vacation. Amanda, the manager of the hotel was incredible to deal with as well!

We had a delightful stay at W Boston! Meagan and all other staff members we interacted with were extremely professional, friendly, and kind. The hotel was aesthetically pleasing, extremely clean, and very cozy. The location of the hotel was also perfect as there were many restaurants, bars, and coffee shops within walking distance. Even if we decided to Uber somewhere, it was never too far. If you are planning a trip to Boston, please consider staying here. I will definitely be staying at the W on my next trip to Boston.

This hotel is located in a VERY NOISY part of town. Any room facing the front of the hotel is exposed to A LOT OF NOISE. The windows/walls do not suppress the noise very well at all. Good luck sleeping.

They say Boston is a city that never sleeps and our recent stay at the W Boston certainly made sure of that. Settled into our 7th-floor room, it was with considerable expectation that we tucked our two little ones into bed, dreaming of a peaceful night's sleep. Alas, the dream was short-lived and we were given a crash course on Boston's lively nightlife... and I mean, literally!
Our lullaby for the evening was a raucous serenade from the street below, where the city bustle never seemed to call it a night. If that wasn't harmonious enough, at the stroke of 1 am, a club located conveniently across the street started its energetic performance, their music pounding through the night air like a subwoofer on steroids. Ah, who needs sleep anyway, right?
Our kids, woken up by the cacophony, began a duet of their own, adding their tearful crescendo to the city's nocturnal symphony. When their performance peaked, I, in my sleepy-eyed desperation, decided to play 'meet the front desk' game.
The clerk, quite aware of our situation, assured us that the nightly street concert was a regular feature and promised it would cease around 2:30 am.
Moreover, one must wonder about the forethought involved in assigning a family with young children to a room exposed to such levels of noise. If the expected tranquility of a hotel room doesn't apply, shouldn't it at least be the responsibility of the establishment to ensure that families are placed in quieter rooms, where the city's vibrant nightli

Everything was good except for two issues. On my first night in the hotel, the shower was cold building wide. They repaired the issue. Second, the face on the water temper lever had detached from the wall. Had these issue not taken place, I would have given the hotel 5 stars.

Hotel is definitely not as nice in person, compared to photos online. The room and hallway on our floor smelled gross.
Went to take a shower in our room, only to find globs of long dark hair sticking to the walls of the shower and all on the shower floor… clearly the shower was not cleaned.

Once when we came back to our room around 5 pm after having left around 9:30 am, the room was not cleaned and there was a mix up between the service ladys. Later after talking to her manager she was instructed to do the cleaning and we had the spent 1/2 hour in the room with the maid.

Cute hotel and the rooms are decent size for Boston, but the walls are paper thin. You could hear every door shut and your neighbors speak. They kindly put me on a higher floor away from an elevator, but it might be brutal if you're a light sleeper. Super convenient to transportation or some sites for walking. Nespresso machines in the room. I don't know if I'd stay here again, but it suited our needs.

Such a pretty hotel. Great looking respectful staff! Super comfortable beds. Loaded mini bar and refrigerator with a ton of snacks in the room. It is quite loud outside until a good 3 to 4 am. We were there Thursday to Saturday am though. So maybe it was just loud around those nights. Absolutely loved it though! Will definitely recommend and stay again!

Very accommodating, helpful, and attentive service from valet to checkin to checkout. There was an issue with the TV in the room and Glenn from engineering showed up immediately, 10pm in a Friday, and was exceptionally helpful and courteous. I have seen some reviewers had less than glowing reviews of the service so I’d like to highlight how wonderful our experience was. It is certainly a busy location with lots of street noise, but that’s outside the hotel’s control. The people driving around Boston on a Friday night are just uniquely enamored with their car’s horn….

Clean. Comfortable. Went to a show with the intention to comeback to the hotel and have a drink. This was impossible, the bar area basically turns into a club at night. Was able to make it to the bar but couldn’t get a drink order placed. Really terrible that management allows for that.

Terrific staff - thoughtful and attentive. A few hours we had checked out, my son realized he hadn’t packed his AirPods, and we went back to the front desk, who arranged for security to meet us at the room and let us in to look. Luckily the room had not yet been made up and he found them in the bed almost immediately. No debates; no hemming and hawing - just thoughtfulness and attentiveness.
Would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Stay was great. The greeters at the door were very friendly and personable and always held the door for us.
The clerk at the desk was friendly and answered our questions and even made recommendations.
The room was nice and clean. Only slight complaint was that the bed was a little too firm for the Mrs, but other than that, everything was great. The hotel was within walking distance to a bunch of restaurants, the Boston Common, and the Boch Center (which is what we were there for). Would stay here again.

Traveling with a group of coworkers.
Checking in at 5:15 pm. The check in process is tedious and slow. Lines forming. The desks are a permanent makeshift setup in a crowded lobby/bar area. And room is not ready and won’t be ready for a while. At 5:15 PM. Having gone through the entire check in process. Then, “Can we have your cell number and we will call you”. With dinner reservations at 6:45 on the other side of downtown, this would be interesting.
Went for a walk. Got the call that room is ready. Waited in line again to get checked in and went through entire check in process again. By this time, there’s no room to even move. The lobby/bar is packed. And the check in line is building again.
Great location, good amenities. Both can be had elsewhere. Our group and corporate won’t stay here again.

There seemed to only be one elevator available for guests. This is insane considering it was a Friday night. Took us 10 minutes every single time we had to go up due to the line of ppl waiting to the use the elevator. Same thing would occur when coming down stairs. We ended up having a room on the 4th floor which we knew would be noisy but this was horrible. There was music downstairs plus the traffic all past 1 am (music) and traffic was loud and ppl screaming past 2-3 am.

Major time delays, due to limiting guest use of elevators to one elevator and extremely crowded . I don’t know why management does not allow use of both elevators as it is a very large hotel with many floors.

It was great. The bed was a little softer than I’m used to and the water pressure in the shower was low. Other than those minor things, our stay was great. All the staff we dealt with were friendly and helpful. The hotel is beautiful.
