Pool was freezing, kids couldn’t enjoy it. Towels were never stocked and always in the “wash”. Breakfast was very whatever, it was a busy weekend and staff was not prepared. Staff was unfriendly, seamed overwhelmed. Rooms need a deep clean, a lot of areas that got missed over and over which made me question how well the areas that did get tidied were actually cleaned in between stays. I spent a lot of time looking for the right hotel that checked all the boxes, unfortunately was not impressed with this one.

Noisy and huge and dirty
It was noisy and loud. It’s a huge hotel so lots of kids sports teams stay there. Running in the hallways. Pools open until 11. Dorty, slow elevators. Would not recommend.

The staff did a good job of getting us checked in quickly, which was appreciated because we were a large , however, some of the room smelled like weed when we entered (reported by a few families in our group). All in all, though it was fine and everybody had a good time. We also appreciated the use of the group room on the main floor for our gathering.

It would be really great to have more chairs in the pool area. There were two small groups and not enough chairs for folks who weren't swimming. Also, the chlorine intensity seemed pretty high and made several of our groups eyes burn.

The pool was too cold for my small children which was the reason why we chose this hotel. From the photos, we noticed a slide and nice shallow part! This would have been great but the water was cooold! Our room was clean and comfortable! We stayed two nights and got fresh towels delivered! Complimentary breakfast is good and the hours are better than other places I’ve stayed!

We always choose this Hotel
At first we requested not be put in the other building because we wanted to be closer to the lobby, but it is the newer part of the hotel connected by a short hallway passing the pool area, which did have a slide and a water fountain and a very shallow side to make even the youngest happy. Along with a hot tub. We were way at the end of the hall on fourth floor of newer building with a great view of the town, our room was beautiful and spacious, and the walk to the lobby was not bad at all. One thing I want to say about this hotel they do take care of their visitors. Last time we stayed here last February they had happy hour from 5:00 pm 7:00pm where they served a small dinner and had complimentary glasses of wine and beer. Lol, sad to say this time no wine and beer but you get juice beverage, and dinner. I have never been to a hotel before that served breakfast and a small dinner for their guests. First night they served sloppy joes, chips and a salad, second night stay was a soup and crackers and not sure what else ( we didn’t make to that one) breakfast was good as well served eggs, patty or link sausage,waffles, country fried potatoes, waffles, donuts, muffins, cereal, toast bagels, juices, coffee, yogurt. Front desk has always been friendly as well as the cleaning staff. Very nice quiet motel, the only thing different about the new part and the old part the pillows were rocks, hubby had problems but since I always travel with my smooshie pillow I slept wonderful.

Hotel and staff were pretty decent but the other guests made our stay miserable. Call us crazy but we usually book a hotel room because we need a place to SLEEP when we cant make it home that night. Kids were running the halls until after midnight (and I mean small kids…5-10 yo), slamming doors, etc, there were even sick ones coughing on everything at breakfast. My daughter didnt even want to swim because of the craziness in the pool area. Adults were conversing loudly in the hall late at night…probably one and the same as the parents letting their kids run wild around the hotel. Whoever had the room above us clearly thought the beds were trampolines and good for jumping off onto the floor. Looked like a locust plague had been through the breakfast area both mornings we were there. Will not stay again due to the loud, messy, rude, guests, that mainly consisted of inconsiderate parents and their kids that they dont bother to parent.

The hotel's website promised a shuttle service to the airport, which was a top priority for me. However, when I arrived, the receptionists told me that the service wasn't available due to staffing issues, despite previous assurances. This inconsistency was frustrating and highlights the need for accurate information.

This was very convenient for me and where I needed to go. Easy check in and out.
Only issue was it wasn't very quiet. People above me were horrible well into the night. Very loud. Hotel was busy on Fri. And Sat. Nights. Nice breakfast.

The hotel is clean and staff are friendly. Beds were comfortable. My only issue was with breakfast. They were out of food, juice, water etc… and slow to replace. Everything else was great and I would definitely stay again. It was the cleanest hotel we have stayed in for awhile.

Good staff but could use some maintenance updates
The front desk staff was working very hard. It appeared they were short staffed as it was a busy check in but only one staff at 5:00pm. The woman working was polite and efficient. The room was clean but could use some touch up painting and some new grout in the shower. The linens were clean, the bed was comfortable.
There was no dry towels in the pool, only a huge bin of wet/dirty towels. Also the pool area needed general cleaning as empty water bottles and some garbage were on the unoccupied tables. I went to front desk for towels. I was given the 4 towels I needed but again the front desk staff appeared very busy checking in guests. Awhile later the front desk staff came and supplied dry towels in the pool area, she made a quick pass of picking up a few garbage items then appeared to hurry back to her front desk. The pool area could use some painting and the wire vent hangers need repairs as several are completely broken.
The next morning I noticed two staff for check out. The breakfast was decent and hot items were kept stocked.
All and all I saw one very dedicated staff on duty at check in, the hotel was clean but could use some maintenance updates.

1st room we were assigned the toilet was not working, not cleaned, tv didn't work. The second room we were assigned one hour later had no cold water to the vanity. Both rooms had the heat selection off as if they didn't know someone was going to stay there. PROBABLY won't stay there again

Many spots on walls where liquid/drinks had spilled and had not been cleaned. Bathroom in our room had mold growing in the caulk of the shower and empty toiletry containers. Staff was polite, but spoke very fast and were hard to understand upon check-in.

Nice Hotel
The stay itself was great, but check in did not go smoothly. I had to go back three or four times before our room was ready. There was stains on the bedspread but Other than that everything was great.

Unfortunately there was no sheets in the room for the pullout sofabed. The sofabed mattress was quite stained and very incomfortable.

The hot tub was closed by public health. The only reason that we wanted this hotel was breakfast and the hot tub. For health reasons we need to use the hot tub. Complete waste for us especially since the hotel is the reason that the hot tub is closed

The pool area was dirty, hot tub was smelly & dirty. The carpet in the room was dirty, the bathroom tub & shower were stained. No housekeeping available unless requested, no signage at the front desk explaining that. Rude front desk personnel.

There was a large blood stain on the mattress and splatter on the door casing into the bathroom. The room was otherwise somewhat clean and we listened to a dog bark for hours. Won’t stay here again.

Room was not clean. Found a water bottle tucked in between bed and nightstand. Carpet had stuff on it, old gross cookie under a chair, mirror in room had been wiped with a dirty cloth and was clearly visible. Bathroom tub was scratched and stained. Breakfast area during breakfast was not tidy.

Amazing Hotel Experience!
This was one of the most pleasant hotel stays that I've had in a long time! I was here for business, and they had so many wonderful little accommodations to make me feel at home. They had hot tea and coffee available 24/7 as well as ice water. Not only did they serve breakfast, but they also have started serving dinners Monday-Thursday. This was such a nice bonus after coming back to the hotel from a long day of meetings! I would Definitely recommend this hotel! It is very easy to access, great location, and was a great place to stay.

very disappointed when the elevator worked but the light did not work, all visit was not working and I feel that this is a huge security risk. also notes that the front desk knew about it but did not alert customers unless asked. they said they had called someone but by Monday morning at 10 AM was still not fixed

Great location. Staff are awesome. During check in staff asked us where in hotel we preferred and placed us on top floor as it would be most quiet. The wind however was strong and rattling something loudly on the roof. We requested a different room and were quickly moved to the 2nd floor. Very accommodating!
It was very quiet.

I love this hotel but this stay was terrible. This was a Christmas stay so the kids could swim and when I checked in they said the pool was down but would open in a couple hours. We waited and it never opened!! They should have told us this at checkin so we could have went elsewhere. It was a nightmare and sad disappointed kids.

I usually stay here do the the poor for my young daughter. Well this time we stayed they didnt say anything about the pool beong out of services. If.i wouod have known this ahead of time or at check in we would have looked for somewhere else to stay. When i asked the for management the staff was rude about it. Then when i checked out the next day and asked for management again, which they staffed replied not sure when they be in. What a totally waste of money and a weekend get away for the kids as they had nothing to do. I will be differently not be staying at this hotel again as they sure have gone down hill. Customers service and hotel itself is a big disappointment.

We arrived late and got checked in. Went up to the room and were ready for sleep. My wife noticed some black hairs in the sheets. I brushed it off to maybe the maids hair. After a couple of hours the breathing trouble started. By morning I was stuffed up, sneezing uncontrollably with eyes puffed and swollen. I have a pet allergy. Upon further inspection, the room was covered in dog hair. The carpet had not been vacuumed, the edge of the bed all the way around was full of hair, The fleece jacket that I hung on the chair was covered in hair, our socks were covered in hair, Their was black hairs on the pillows and in the sheets. It was disgusting. I called the front desk to complain and they said they had nowhere to put us and they would clean the room. Could not stay another minute never mind another night. Booked room elsewhere and they let us in at 7AM. We were supposed to stay at La Quinta 2 nights. After many phone calls and online chats Expedia and La Quinta refunded only the second night stay. Keeping the fee for the first night of the stay. The refund should have been automatic. I love animals but because on my allergies I have to be careful. I understand pet friendly, but maybe they should keep that on a separate floor. Therefore we will never stay at La Quinta again. I have many pictures of the room but nowhere to post them.

Breakfast was good. Staff are friendly. Hallways smells of marijuana. Walls are thin. I can hear conversations from other rooms. Pool looks nice but didn’t get to use it due to less days spent there from the border being closed.

AC thermostat was hit and miss, numerous stains on multiple places. Bed covers were dirty, carpet had stains, somehow the curtain valence was stained and the phone did not work due to a spilled beverage. Housekeeping is questionable at this location. Front desk and breakfast staff were pleasant.

One of the staff members was on the phone speaking to a customer so the other staff member would have been up to help me. She literally sat texting on her phone and I had to ask for her help and she continued to be on her phone and finally looked up and said “what?”. Then was super rude through the whole process, didn’t ask any questions or tell me anything. I had to ask her questions about breakfast, WiFi, directions to my room, where I should park, the elevators, the pool. I mean it was like I was inconveniencing her. Luckily, the other staff member was able to help as she was off the phone because I had asked if the pool would be open by 8 am and the gal was telling me it was closed and I was pissed and the other staff member stepped in and said “no no no, it’s not closed at all, the hot tub is.” I booked this entire hotel specifically for my kids so I could have a room for kids to sleep and then get up and swim before we leave. Then we get to the room and 1/2 the lights don’t work & the drain on the tub won’t stay open so we all had to take baths instead of showers. Normally this stuff wouldn’t bother me, but to walk into a hotel after traveling with young kids and being greeted by someone who makes you feel like you’re an annoyance to them for being there.

The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. There was only one elevator and it was small and very slow. There was always a line to get on it so that was a bit annoying. But my husband did say it was the best continental hotel breakfast he’s ever had. Staff were friendly and helpful. It’s nice that there was a convenience store right across the street and it’s just right off of the freeway, yet still very quiet.

My only complaint is there was so much chemical in the hot tub it burnt my eyes just trying to sit in the tub and my hands were red and burning. Otherwise the hotel was fabulous and I would def stay there again

We arrived at 3:05 expecting to grt into our room so we could clean up after travel but was told by Anthony, desk clerk that it was not ready. It would be about 5 - 10 minutes before it was ready then he left for day.. Young lady Shania, believe, took over handling 50-60 customers over next hour before she told us our room was ready... S he was extremely efficient not only handling customer nut the ohone all by herself.. Cudoos to her
