the checking in was simple and personnel was friendly. The room smelled musty. The parking in the rear was completely empty and we were not sure if the car would be safe there In the morning there were more cars. the room was quiet but very old.

The motel it’s is only if you are traveling for business and need to stay at a cheaper place, but my complaint is about the bathroom, a toilet in a very bad condition, the walls of the bathroom, the floor and door all in a very bad conditions overall the room only was not good but good enough

The room I selected online had a couch and a bed. I paid extra to get this room. I needed the couch for one of us to sleep on. The room ad stated it was for three people (large bed + couch).
The room I was given didn't have the couch - just the bed. I complained, but nothing was done to correct this mistake.
To Knights Inn: Please don't advertise something that you won't deliver.
There are bright lights outside of the rooms. They are VERY bright. The curtains block light from coming through the curtain, but the bright light comes into the room along all edges of the curtain. It lights up the room like daytime.
To Knights Inn: Turn off those bright lights just outside the rooms, or find a way to block it from going in.
On the positive side, the bed was comfortable. The water, fridge, and microwave worked well. I felt safe there. I could park my car adjacent to my room - very convenient.

Ice machine broken since Iann,told i could buy ice next door.bed spreads had stains and cigarette holes,in a no smoking motel,chair had stains,turned it over more stains,bathtub dirty, spigot pulled off wall ,tòilet seat not connected to toilet,wall kleenex holder empty, left over food from other guest left in freezer,low rent neighborhood, totally in disrepair &maintainence .The price I paid for that night was 50 percent more than their current rate and the parking lot was evidence of their neglect , ironically a mile up the road was 2 clean looking motels and parking lot full,no I am not a happy man and I will think twice before I use your booking service again, no animosity , just reality, ,B.Keefer

Hotel was dirty and smelled so bad I couldn’t even stay there. Light fixture in the bathroom was missing the light fixture by the bed was missing hole in the bedroom comfortable hole in the bedroom chair. The whole room was just dirty, and there was a smell throughout the room that was just so bad that we didn’t even stay there. I just went back up and get my money back, false advertisement by there standards and mine ridiculous should be shut down until repairs and updates are taken care of

It’s was very expensive for the condition it was in. There where crawling roaches and it was dirty. The room was located in a dark parking lot it was not safe. The ice machine did not work and overall it was a terrible experience I had staying at a motel.

This place is terrible. Toilet not bolted to floor, tv gets only one channel, remote broken. Water smells and only lukewarm, not warm enough for shower. Lamp shades missing. Most of light bulbs missing. Grounds and pool area run down and dirty. I checked out ahead of schedule because I couldn't stand it anymore. The only goo thing I can say is the housekeeping ladies did the best they could with what they had to work with.

Expedia charged me close to $350 a night. The walk-in would have been that much for the whole week. They were damaged in the last hurricane. Grounds were a mess. The room next to me hat 4 construction workers who were living there for a fraction of the cost. I guess this why my donation to the cause. Really misleading of Expedia. Shame on you. I’m a disabled senior with li tied funds but found myself in a bind for lodging

Rude staff. Noisy / with loud music and loud conversation right outside my door.
Booked 2 beds.. only got 1 w/ no cots avail. They blamed it on booker but my confirmation clearly said 2 queen beds.
Nasty bed spread w/ cigarette burns. 2 flat old pillows
Cig butts all over parking lot.

It was disgusting. The room had blood on the wall,spiderwebs in the bathroom and dirty sheets. Not to mention I was supposed to get 2 queen beds and was given 1 full bed. I brought it up to the manager and they told me it was not their issue to deal with hotel.com.

Worst motel I have stayed in a long time
Even though I had the confirmation email from the hotel, they said my reservation was canceled, so they charged me at the desk. I had reserved a non-smoking room. I got a smoking room; it stunk, and there were burn marks on the blanket. I stepped into the room, and a roach ran right in front of me. I turned on the light next to the door to find a lamp fixture with a bare bulb and no lampshade. I looked at the ceiling and saw that the smoke detector had been removed. I went to the bathroom to find the toilet paper dispenser hanging on the wall by one screw(ever hear of drywall screws??) I was thankful to have toilet paper at this point. I turned the AC (control cover fell off in my hands) on only to discover that it blew straight up the curtains and was cooling the windows and nothing else. I used my cane to block the curtain against the window so the AC could blow into the room. It was pointless as after 30 minutes the AC was just blowing lukewarm air and not cooling anything. I turned on the light next to the bed and it took three tries for the push button to work --- it would not turn off, however, so I had to reach behind the nightstand with the non-working clock to unplug it from the wall. When I laid down to sleep, I saw two roaches climbing up the wall. Somehow I managed to sleep but woke up to the floor soaking wet, including the backpack that I laid next to the bed, from the AC. TV and mini fridge worked so you have to give them that.....

I booked a room online and When we got there they had given our room to someone else. So needless to say they blamed it on Hotels.com that it was their Internet system error.
We was left in a bad situation late at night trying to find another place to stay.
I will never use them again, or recommend them to anybody!!

This place is DUMP. Bullet holes in wall, dirty, bugs. Would have been more comfortable sleeping on the floor rather than the smeely square they call a mattress. Rude staff, seemed to bother him i was checking in. If you are looking for a decent place to stay, this is not it.

Multiple cigarette holes in the bedding (non smoking hotel), the bathroom door was falling apart, front door wouldn’t close properly- a lot of in and out activity all night, cars with blasting music at 6am lingering outside the rooms, humid air conditioning, unfriendly staff

We show up at the motel and there's no one there but they would be back in 15 min. Thirty minutes later an employee was crossing the parking lot and I asked when the office person would be back. She said it was her husband and he was on the side of the road after being pulled over by the police and she had to go get him. Go figure. We waited another 30 minutes until she got back a female her friend and two kids in tow but no husband. Long story short, she said they had no room vacant and didn't have a reservation for us. We left to find another place to stay after 9PM. We were fortunate enough to find a room in another local dump (beggars can't be choosers) for twice the price we had arranged for the Knight's Inn Arcadia.

Shower door let water run out all over the floor, 3/4 of the lights did not work, clock don't work. Tv remote did not work. Ants all over the place. Refrigerator sounded like it was going to die, heater smelled liked it was burning took almost 10 mins to get hot water, floors haven't been cleaned in forever, mattress was badly stained. One of the worst motels i have ever stayed in

You get what you pay for.
This place is perfectly fine for the price. I even decided to stay a second night... But I found out I needed to stay after I had already checked out. When I called to get another room it was at least 25 more dollars than what I was getting online. I told them that I would make my reservation through hotels.com to get the better price. They said okay. That's what I did.
When I got there they had one room that they could give to me. The door to the room was literally busted. The handle would turn but the door was jammed and would not open.
I went inside and told the guy that the door was busted. He told me how to work the door handle so it would work properly.
I said how about you just give me another room. He said they didn't have any other rooms and he didn't understand how I got my room from hotels.com because after we hung up he called them and removed any available rooms from their site.
He was not friendly about this at all. He acted like he was mad at me.
the only other game in town was an Economy Inn and it looked like it needed more work than this one.
At the end of the day you get what you pay for.

For the price it was worth what they have there. Try to find a hotel for under 100 any where sarasota county to collier in February. i spent the 40 min drive to get a room for 65.

Check in was good. Room was dirty. Bathroom door must have been kicked in....very nasty bathroom. Yelling in next room with slamming of door until 2:10 a.m. no manager came to see what was happening. I wouldn't use this place for an animal!

We arrived around 7pm and had to ring the buzzer to get in. We had to wait about 3 minutes for the guy to respond. When we tried to get into our room the card wouldn't unlock the door and we had to go back and wait again so he could reprogram the key cards. He was disgruntled that we disturbed him again. One if the cards still didn't work.

The place needs maintenance work done. When we first arrived the door handle fell off, a screw was missing from the handle. The bathroom window crank to open and close the window was broken. Could not get any extra pillows for the bed. The people in the next room were loud vocally and kept slamming their door most of the night. Won't stay there again.

Very loud sounds/music surrounding with no way to block it out. Bright lights shining into room. Not the cleanest. Hard to get good rest, especially if you are just staying to rest for the night.

We were checked in by a man and woman with jittery behavior and pinpoint pupils in pajama pants. They instructed a child from behind closed doors to assist another guest to their room. After a few minutes of begging the door to unlock (out of date/damaged card readers) we walked into a disappointed version of an hourly rate crack house. Our non smoking room reeked of stale smoke and mildew. Burn holes on all bedding, curtains, upholstery, furniture and countertops. The floor was littered with dirt, food, and shards of glass. Spiders had permanent residence in every corner. The ghost ants were at war with the fire ants and didn't leave much for the cockroaches camped out under the fridge. Yes, I checked the matress. Not inspiring, but no evidence of bed bugs at least. The tv screen was etched with some form of vulgarity and the remote was something you didn't want to touch. Everything in that room exhibited signs of trauma and abuse. Unidentified splatters on walls, chunks missing from walls, even the lightbulbs couldn't agree with each other. The local characters added such ambience outside our door all hours of the night. I did have a deep appreciation for the scorching hot water to sanitize myself and heavily bleached sheets. The microwave did work and there was nothing dead in the closet or fridge. You get what you pay for. I would have liked to suggest improvements to our tweeked out staff, but during our 3 harrowing nights there they were unreachable.

The only thing this room had going for it was that it was relatively clean. However the A/C was terrible, the TV was broken, the WIFI didnt work, and there seemed to be a party going on all night right outside my room. I could have gotten past all that honestly, its an Inn out in Arcadia, I cant be picky. But what was the final straw was that the woman behind the front desk was obviously high out of her mind. Her eyes were dilated and her speech was nearly inchoherant. It took her 10 minutes to figure out how to get my room car programmed and when I saw her my second day she was literally just as inebriated as the day before. I didnt feel safe AT ALL at this place, and I will not be returning. Im sorry for the harsh review, I almost never leave them, but this was ridiculous.

Unsatisfactory Stay.
I made this book for a traveling band that I am a member of. Upon I arrival there was a sign saying that the pool was under renovation so un- usable. Next,we could not get any of our computers or cell phones onto the hotels WiFi for the duration of our two day stay. This was a great inconvenience to taking care of normal daily business correspondences,etc. Lastly on the second day our door keys were changed and two members in one room were unable to lock their door and secure room for one day. They were assured by the hotel management that their rooms were nonetheless safe. How comforting! Beware, there are really no good food options that are walking distance. Management was not always available and despite promising to fix things, did not follow through.

Nice people managing. Clean except for the refrigerator, which had water in the drip pan and smelled bad.( I cleaned it ) The bed was comfortable but it is an old hotel and I always find something that needs repair. This time it was the lock on the bathroom window. I stayed there 4 times this summer for events in Arcadia and will be back next summer.

The room was nice, the pool a bonus. I was disappointed that there was no continental breakfast that was supposed to be offered and advertised. When I asked staff why, I was told the owners stopped doing it because they were throwing away food. Someone should look at the reservations and base it on rooms and occupancy. Being a Franchise it is listed, offered and advertised. Wifi would not connecting it was a weak signal. The road to get to the back of the hotel has HUGE pot holes. Staff was very nice though.

I was there for a very short time and spent 90% of it sleeping. I was the only traveler. It was perfect for my needs and it was convenient. Friendly check in and not too expensive. I am thankful it was there where I needed it. I would have been just as happy with it even if I had to stay many days more.

our room was virtually on the hwy with trucks roaring by 24/7!
we came late in the breakfast service time & there was NOTHING, even the coffee was empty!

The room was very dirty when went to front office women was running out that made us feel unsafe when asked to be refunded manger said we had to go through hotels.com when we called hotels.com they called manger who declined to give us money back.

This is a no trills pull up to your room motel. It is very well maintained by the friendly and professional staff there. The location is excellent for going downtown. It has a quite pool area in the back as well that is very clean too.

Acceptable for one night
The room is ok. The bathroom needs upgrading. However, there is no carpet in the room, which is good. The neighborhood is somewhat noisy. The breakfast is ordinary. The person at the reception was nice. No restaurants nearby. The outdoor lights were on all night, which made us sleep lightly, even though the curtains were closed.

Like -Very clean, Good administrator, Other workers very personable ( caretaker is holding a razor I left there until someone in the area can get there to pick it up for me.)
Issues: Towel holder at sink had all but been pulled out of wall...Floor in bathroom is ugly (poor work on tile grouting...) shower door (shower side had been stripped of some wood, needs to be at least painted...)

Stay somewhere else...
Dingy linens, many bugs/crickets outside and inside, holes in walls (closet) iron doesn't work, thin walls, pool looks unclean, dirty tub and toilet-cleaned it myself and the stains still didn't come out. I'm only staying because I have no other option-it's close to my job and I'm between apartments and cars. I've currently only been here a few days, but I'll need to be here a month. It's going to be rough.
