I never choose anywhere else. My mom and I stay only here when we come to Mass. The property is always clean, the rooms are always clean and the beds are comfy. I great a night's sleep. (Very peaceful and quiet). It's close to Amtrak train which is perfect for me commuting back to work on Monday mornings after I visit the breakfast area which has many options and again CLEAN . Of course the ladies that check me in on Sundays are very respectful, personable, and kind. Thanks!

The hotel is a few blocks from the railroad station and Amtrak crews stay there. Rooms are clean, maintenance generally adequate although one electrical outlet was loose when I unplugged my equipment. Breakfast was decent but unexceptional.
Due to illness I canceled my morning plans, but they told me it would be $20.00 per hour for a late checkout.
Next year I intend to stay elsewhere.

The front desk staff were exceptionally accommodating! They were caring & very welcoming! I’ve stayed here 3 times for my daughter surgeries that she had at Baystate Medical. I could not be happier! They deserve praise & a raise!

The sheer part at the top of the shower curtain allowed water to spray through onto the floor, especially when using the massager function of the shower head.

Room spacious, hotel clean, check-in staff friendly and helpful.
Didn’t like or appreciate that house keeping came knocking at 10am saying they thought I left. Check out is at 11am- check the rooms after.
Didn’t like that guests were at breakfast in pijamas, barefooted, child with uncovered cough unattended by adults who were sitting at another table.

All staff was very friendly and helpful. One room did smell a bit funky but grandmother and father staying in there didn't mind. Fitness center could use a boost. Pool was fun, awesome how deep it was.

There was food in the mini fridge from Thanksgiving. There was used sheets inside the pullout couch.. When we told the lady at the front desk she was rude. Also the heat didn’t work they told us to shut it off and they would send someone to look at it. That was Friday at 730pm and no one came until we called front desk the next morning and someone came up at 830 am as we were leaving for a cheer competition.

rude receptionist, hotel doe not have restaurant, do not provide hot water, suggest to use the coffee maker to boil hot water, but the coffee maker is dusty, room is not clean. very bad for the brand hotel

Clean and updated hotel, friendly and helpful staff. Stayed here with a dog (reasonable pet fee and terms) and while the room itself was clean and spacious, it was adjoined, so even though neighbors weren't being unreasonably loud, I could hear everything through the gap under the shared doors, and my dog kept getting up to investigate. All in all I would stay here again, but will request a non-adjoining room in the future.

Hallways smelled like pot and then the ionic air cleaner smelled worse. Lukewarm water in the shower, wifi service was extremely weak and disconnected constantly.

I check in on Sundays. The ladies at the front desk are always pleasant, personable, and professional. Rooms are clean , beds are comfortable, and I get a quiet night's sleep. Awesome location - highway accessibility and union staion train/bus station. Thanks La Quinta.

I stay here when I go to Six Flags New England. They always have a great selection of breakfast, decor is nice, friendly staff. Secure lodging and parking, plus you need a key to get into the pool so thats very good. The room is spacious and clean. I recommend staying here.

Ok place to stay
It’s an old place. We had a handicapped room and the sliding door to the bathroom was broken so we didn’t try to close it. That might have been inconvenient for some guests

Solid hotel for a quick business trip
The room itself was comfortable and clean. You can definitely tell that animals stay in the hotel because sometimes the elevators smelled like dog poop or pee. The walls were VERY thin, particularly if you had a door to an adjoining room. I could hear the couple in the room next to me as if they were in my room. I don't think they were being particularly loud, but the sound traveled. Good enough breakfast to find something in the morning. Was very grateful for the front desk for saving my sweatshirt that must have fallen when I was in the lobby during check in! I was able to get it back two days later when I realized it was missing.

The hotel room was clean and nice, but I have had coat closets bigger than the bathroom. Had to turn sideways to close the door. 3rd floor ice machine was broken, second floor ice machine was black with mold, fourth floor ice machine-well, we aren’t sick. Bed was awsome.

We were there for the horse show at the Big E. Property is very convenient and close by. Kim in the lobby bar is fantastic! She's so much fun and makes the best drinks around!! Hope to see her there again next year!

The hotel's location was great since I travel by train. It is in reasonable walking distance to local eateries and downtown. I was disappointed with check-in, the nonexistent housekeeping, and no internet. The breakfast was not good and limited options. The rooms were very clean and spacious.

Would have given a higher rating but serious plumbing issues in room 504. Air in the lines or something made for ridiculously loud showers. I’m sure those staying next to us complain because we had to get up and shower very early and it probably woke others up.

Room with King bed was very spacious. Property was nearby our final destination. Lots of restaurants in the area. Continental breakfast was very good!
Bathroom was small. When taking a shower, the pipes were very loud - like a professional blower was in the shower with you.

Bathroom is the size of an RV bathroom. Toilet was broken and had to request a new room they seemed very inconvenienced to assist. Dirty and breakfast was as expected at this hotel.

This hotel had everything we wanted, including a small laundry area. Close proximity to Springfield Union Station was great as we’re traveling by AMTRAK. Staff was cheerful & efficient.

Staff was excellent especially Kim in the bar. She went well out of her way to make us feel comfortable. Extremely attentive and very good at her job. Careful of the surrounding area as it is very questionable. Keep your car close to the entrance and keep aware of people in the area. Breakfast was very good!!

Very good value. Clean and service was excellent. Room was in excellent condition. Pool very nice. Breakfast had many options and nicely attended even though it was busy with youth sports teams in town. Quiet at night. Will stay again.

It’s in a metro area so being close to the city would be a plus for some. The only downside of the experience was the woman at the front desk who was very kind gave us the wrong room number. After multiple failed attempts to enter someone else’s room, my wife had to go back down to the front desk to see what the issue was. When we were told the correct room number everything worked fine.

Suite could use updated especially for the cost and bathrooms are very tight quarters.
Multiple vehicles got vandalized, smashed windows and jacked up put on blocks and wheels stolen. They have no cameras and are no help at all with signs in parking lot saying they are not responsible. As it turns out it seems this is a problem there since we were told by some staff that vandalism has been a problem in the past and also did have thieves cut the catalytic converters from vehicles in the parking lot. Not sure why there would be no cameras or security if this is a known problem.

The property needs a renovation. The beds are spring mattresses and worn out so you can feel the dip in the middle. The door handle on the bathroom door was lose. The towels are small and thin and they don't replace them unless requested. The carpet and walls showed major wear. The room was right outside the elevator and ice machine area and very noisy. Our keys were not keyed for the right number of days two days in a row.

After checking out, I noticed the total room charge on my credit card was higher than I was originally quoted by Expedia. I called the hotel and requested to send me a copy of my bill. I noticed I was charged an additional $28 for a movie which I never ordered. It took 3 more phone calls to get the manager to remove the $28 charge. In addition, there was only one bath towel in our room. After requesting a second bath towel, we received a paper-thin towel that wasn't anything like the other towel that was in the bathroom. Overall, poor experience with this property.

It is always a pleasure to stay here. The ladies on Sunday afternoon around 12-1pm always happen to find my mom and I a room and know how to treat people. The ladies are professional, respectful, friendly, and efficient. The rooms are clean, property is clean and I get a comfortable bed for a night's rest in peace and quiet. I come there also because of the close proximity of Union station to get to work the next day.

The location was amazing based on our plans which included attending the Big E fair and Round1usa. As per the Hotel ... we arrived and to make a long story short, the room that was provided at first smelled of some chemical that was extremely potent. We checked in early around 2 ish and figured it was the only room available as we arrived quite earlier and waited. The female who attended us to confirm our reservation was so very nice and the Hotel did an absolute service to themselves to have such a front desk personnel as she was truly a delight. We stood in the room until we could not bare the odor any longer. Went downstairs around 3 ish and felt like we were being admonished as we were told by the Manager why we didn't come down earlier as soon as we noticed the smell. We simply stated that we figured closer to 4 would yield available rooms due to the check in time received in our email. To be quite frank, that room should have never been available as we later found out it was an ozone machine used to get rid of smoking odors. It leaves the air quite heavy and hard to breathe in and that should have never been an option. To make a long story short again, the hotel staff went to the room and they were very nice and accommodating and confirmed and shared with us the source of the strong odor. We were very grateful for the honesty and was shown another room which was very nice. The rooms were then swapped and we had a wonderful time. The bonus of breakfast with lovely.

Clean, comfortable and convenient
The hotel was nice, clean, comfortable and coveniently located just a few miles from our trip to the Big E. I called that our tv remote didn't seem to be working and a nice young man came to the room with a smile and helped within 5 min. Didn't expect that kind of service. My neutral response was because when we came to check in, both girls left the desk at the same time leaving us there but it wasn;t for long. Good stay overall.

Still my first pick in Springfield
We stay here every year for the Big E. The hotel is great. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The entire staff is always polite. Breakfast is a good. My only issue this time was that our key cards wouldn't work at the back door, so I would have to walk around the building in the dark to get my card fixed every day. We did have a constant noise of water running the first couple of days, but they fixed that at some point. It's still my favorite place to stay in Springfield.

Just really underwhelming, was given a room for little people so everything was shrunken (mirror in bathroom at waist height, small shower( shower head was at my chest…) pool for use was freezing an the pool area was so beat up we decided not to even use it. Nice people at check in and check out but the hotel itself was very underwhelming

Fixes needed
The bathroom was little small. Also noticed there were broken and missing shelves in the mini fridge. A cabinet door had a broken hinge. And the desk chair needed a bolt for the arm. These are things that I should have brought to the attention of the front desk. I did tell them about the chair and was told they would fix it, but I didn't mention the other issues.

Check-in was ok. The room was a little run down. The walls are VERY thin, we were woken up multiple times from noise in the room next door. Could hear the water running in the bathroom next door and above us. Parking was not the best. Breakfast was not great. 2 night stay and wouldn't stay again.

Never again.
A lot of smokers/vaping hovering around entrance/exit. Horrible smell of marijuana in that area to include elevators and hallways. Rooms not very sound proof or quite as we could hear those in room beside us and in hallway. The pool area without towels most of the time. Receptionist at check in not very friendly as she would answer phone and talk to others when checking us in.
