The room was clean, but the bathtub had some type of sand or soil in the bottom. The shower curtain slid to the middle and wouldn't stay closed.

Did not sleep well.
Room needs updating. It was as clean as it could be. Smelled like old, wet carpet that had dried. If they pulled up the carpet and put down new non-carpet flooring it would be much better.
Check-in was good and so was the free breakfast😊

Our check-in process was extremely good and handled by an extremely friendly and welcoming front desk clerk. Our rooms were great. The only complaint I had was about the staff member working in the dining room for breakfast on Saturday, July 22 - members of a family came down and were obviously getting breakfast for other family members back in their room. The gentleman overseeing the breakfast yelled at them from across the room, "There is a LIMIT on how much you can take!" It was rude and disrespectful of the family and added a feeling of discomfort which should have been a nice breakfast. Otherwise, the stay was fine.

Room was not very clean at all. I can deal with a property being older and outdated (which this one was). There’s a difference, though, in outdated and dirty. This room we stayed in was dirty. The staff we encountered were at least extremely friendly. However, the gentleman serving breakfast could be heard coughing numerous times in the kitchen, and then I saw him placing biscuits with his bare hands in the containers to be served. He was extremely kind, but that was not nice to witness. My wife also found a hair in her bacon. Will not stay here again based on the lack of cleanliness alone.

Pool cloudy, needs help.
For the most part, the place was clean and inviting. I was looking forward to the pool area a lot. When i got there, the pool was very cloudy and had two different areas that looked like film (Lotions/oils/etc) were collecting. The jacuzzi was clean.

Great stop for a night. The location is convenient. Right off the Interstate! It was very quiet and clean. The indoor pool was nice for the kids after driving. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and plenty of toiletries were provided. Breakfast was good there was variety enough to please everyone. The coffee was really good! I would definitely stay here again if traveling through.

Breakfast Game Changer
THE BEST breakfast I have EVER had at a hotel. It was a legit breakfast with a gentleman who was very attentive to bringing out hot, fresh biscuits, sausage gravy and keeping the area clean. It was better than some restaurants with a big variety of food...and the coffee was great too. Y'all get an A+! Keep it up. This along with a great staff and a very comfortable stay puts this hotel on the top of the list when I'm in the area again.

Best Holiday Inn & Staff Ever!
This was the most attentive and customer friendly hotel stay I have ever been to (and I travel a lot).
They went out of their way to make you feel welcome and helped with whatever you needed.
The only negative was the breakfast person was overly attentive to the point that he would hover behind you to refill containers and seemed annoyed if you were in his way.
Highly recommend this Holiday Inn and the rest of the stay was worth it despite the breakfast person’s rudeness.

The little birds coming in and out building nests was really fun to watch and kind of relaxing.
The road to turn to the property was a little confusing at first. I thought we were heading to the interstate. There needs to be a sign that is easy to see.

Just perfect 4 me
My check-in was fabulous. Very friendly and helpful. Dell was at the front desk upon arrival. and was fantastic. The place is clean. TV was amazing. Hot tub + pool is just what i needed after a 10 hour drive. Breakfast was a large variety of fresh food + the cook is very friendly. The bed was a bit high off the ground + a bit on the firm side. Parking was easy for my truck + u-haul. Convenience to eat out + highway.

I like that it was at an I-26 entrance/exit ramp and close to Newberry College.
The room I stayed in wasn't clean and the coffee pods not stocked (only decaf). The pool had a layer of stuff on the surface.

Worth the price!
The friendliest check in ladies we have ever encountered at a hotel. They were bright and cheerful, full of great information about the area. Room was spotless with comfy beds. Breakfast was top notch compared to any hotel we have stayed at. The gentleman tasked with monitoring the breakfast station was on it, wiping down tables, immediately cleaning up spills, keeping everything stocked to the brim to ensure happy guests. Great experience overall.

We’ve been traveling for nearly 2 weeks and this is the nicest hotel we’ve seen in 5 states. It’s clean and has everything. The best hot breakfast I’ve seen at a hotel in years. Shampoo, etc stocked in bathroom, nice pool, friendly staff. I wish every hotel was this nice or even half as nice.

Entry, lobby and eating area clean. Our room looked as if the floors needed swept and there were some wrappers and an empty water bottle behind the bed side table. The bathroom in our room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The sofa in the suite was a bit dirty looking and carpet in the room, halls and elevators were dirty. The continental breakfast was very good with many options!

Wonderful People/OK Accommodations
The people working were wonderful—extremely friendly and accommodating! When I asked about a late checkout since checkout fell during our baby’s nap time, they were more than happy to accommodate. They also just went above and beyond! Example: My husband had been traveling with the baby and met me at the hotel. While he took stuff up to the room, he asked me to grab him something to eat at the front desk because he hadn’t eaten and was hungry. I was also carrying the baby. The front desk worker told me to just take the snack and come back later to pay since I was trying to juggle everything. That was a huge blessing!
Unfortunately, the hotel is showing signs of age and desperately needs new carpet. Our room was “musty” smelling (I probably should have asked for a different room), and the air conditioner didn’t seem to be working well. Also, the furniture was showing a lot of wear and damage. However, the bed was comfortable and the room was very clean—just worn.
We also wanted to take our son swimming—he LOVES the water. The pool didn’t seem very clean at all—a few bugs floating and the bottom could have used a good cleaning.

Staff was super friendly, breakfast had so many options and everything was fresh and didn’t have to wait for anything to be replenished.
Room was clean and bed was very comfortable. Plenty of pillows and towels.
Only thing missing was USB ports for chargers so definitely bring a plugin.
Will be staying here next time we are in the area.

Very close to the interstate. Warm cookies provided and the staff (evening) was great. Upgrades are in process so while the room is a bit dated, they are working on that.
Water pressure is amazing BUT they might put in longer shower curtains as I flooded my bathroom without realizing it (sorry for using all the towels) LOL.
I'd stay her again, no problem.

The hotel has great access to expressway. The front desk staff was exceptional. Our room was a king size bed and room to roam. The bathroom was exceptionally clean with wonderful accoutrements. The bedding was was like being in a cotton field and cold AC! We will be back!

There was a water leak upon our arrival. They stated it was being fixed and we didn't need to worry. In fact, there was NO hot water the next day even. Also, the shower head was clogged and wouldn't work. I have never stayed anywhere that I couldn't even bathe at. Never again.

We ended up staying in multiple hotels this family trip and this one was by far the best. We found this place last minute and checked in after 9pm. The front desk clerk was so amazing. She went out of their way to get us milk for our daughter and made sure check in was easy. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The breakfast was great. Some tasty hot options and some to-go options as well. When checking out the lady at the front desk asked if we needed anything else before leaving. 100% service. :)

The staff is the best!!
The hotel was very convenient to the interstate, and offers free parking. It is an older hotel, and while clean and comfortable, it could use updating on carpets and fixtures. The breakfast was great, with a wonderful selection of hot and cold items. We were very pleased with it. The absolute best thing about this hotel was the staff. Dell, and the young lady working with him at check-in, were fantastic!! They were a great team who helped us solve a reservation problem. These two employees alone made the stay wonderful, and we will stay here again. Thank you to your employees for making our visit so great!

Property is in a good location. Brand new 7 eleven within walking distance. Property is in a quiet location. The whole property had a funny smell including room. Room amenities were out of date but still functional.
