After each stay, I rate this hotel 5 stars. It’s very clean, rooms are nice, bed & pillows are comfortable, & staff is amazing. But the hotel has now changed the room’s climate control to a digital system with very little user control. The room was too hot because the system was set to heat the room (it’s Florida, even in winter), with maximum & minimum temperatures already programmed in. It was too late to call maintenance & we were checking out the next morning so nothing could be done.

The staff at the front desk was very professional and friendly, accommodating to our needs. The remaining staff throughout the hotel was very friendly as professional. The location is very central to our family members. Also restaurants, and shopping is very convenient located. Highly recommend it and the cookies are great!!!

Nice, clean, friendly and helpful staff. We arrived late at night and the desk clerk got us situated quickly. She pointed out the snack area and after we picked up a few items, she added them to our bill. I believe her name was Mary. After that she told us about the AM breakfast. I thought she represented the hotel very well.

We stay here frequently because the rooms & staff are wonderful. But every so often - as happened this time - we get a room with A/C that sounds like a freight train. Last night, it was very hard to talk & then to sleep over the noise. We’re only here 1 night so there’s no point asking for maintenance. But we always tell the desk clerk when we check out & still the A/C in some rooms is uncomfortably loud.

Unfortunately, the electricity went out from my community, so I decided to stay at the hotel for the night. I was very happy to see how well kept, and cleaned was the hotel. In the future, I will be returning, even if i just need a day for myself.

It was AMAZING Being here!! Service was superb, the girls at the main desk went above and beyond to help solving a last minute issue. Breakfast was DELICIOUS, Room very clean, comfortable and quiet. Excellent location.

The bed and pillows were comfortable but the room setup was challenging. The sink was out in the main room instead of the bathroom. The carpet had stains all over it. Under the plastic cups was someone’s dental floss and the plastic was all wet and stinky. Very gross. The water dispenser was broke and they had no butter for breakfast. The food was good though but not a fan of dry toast.

I was staying in Apopka for a wedding. I chose this hotel over the hotel that was booked for the wedding because it was about $70 less per night, and still quite close to the wedding down the street. I was very happy with my choice. Unlike the chosen wedding hotel, this Holiday Inn offered free breakfast, which was a very helpful perk. Very glad I chose this one and saved money, and enjoyed the stay.

The staff was nice. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was good. The extremely loud fire alarm that went off throughout the hotel about 5 times between 6 am and 9 am made me rethink if I ever want to book a room here again. No one offered any apology or explanation for the piercing alarm.

The only thing I was displeased about was the breakfast offering. The bacon was very undercooked and several items ran out but these were eventually restocked. We stayed on a Saturday and Sunday. The breakfast offerings were minimum.
Room was clean. In fact, you could walk around the property and see staff cleaning and maintaining the property.
The property was clean and I felt safe parking my vehicle there.

Incredible experience.
It was perfect through and through. Loved the free breakfast. It wasn’t that same old continental breakfast. It was real hot, prepared food. The pancakes were the star! The room was excellent. And the girls at the front desk should get a raise. They were amazing.

When we got there our key wouldn't work we went down 3 different times to tell them it would'nt work and they just kept reprogramming the keys. The 4th time of going down to tell them it doesn't work they finally said they will have someone come look at the door. We had to wait in the hall for 20 mins for someone to finally come. We got in the room and it smelled horrible. We couldnt get in the pool because we didnt have keys so we went and got airfreshener and came back to the room and found roaches crawling up the bathroom wall. Very disappointed in this holiday Inn

In town for a Travel Baseball Tournament!!!
The hotel was clean from the lobby to the rooms, and even the pool and area were clean. All the staff I encountered were friendly, especially Mary when we checked in. She was awesome. The breakfast had plenty of options. All the food was stocked and hot. If you need a place to crash in the Apopka area, I will definitely recommend it. I'll be repeating my stay there the next time I'm in town for a travel ball tournament.

It was a nice hotel, close to main roads and suited our purpose. Disappointed with the really noisy AC unit in the room and that did have to drive to get somewhere for food - not realistically in walking distance to anything. Breakfast was ok, hot food options lacking (3 things) but plenty of other things to chose from.

We were pleased to have a free upgrade to a spacious suite. The bed & pillows were very comfortable and the room and bathroom were clean. The staff was wonderful. The breakfast bar was replenished constantly so the food was always hot. We are repeat customers!

Love this Holiday Property
We love this property and more so now as it has been renovated. But, the electric black out shade and the lighter one in front did not work. Twice service guys came to fix it and could not. they took it off the lighter one of its hinges and rolled down so we could have some coverage. I complained twice as the minute the sun came out we were woken up and still it was to fixed. the closet hanging rod was so low (see pic) the clothes sat over the safe. also, would like to suggest more hooks so guests can hang up towels and not let them fall to the floor. but, no where to hang any. Great breakfast, comfortable bed. Love the pump bottles of soap and shampoo. the little bottles are a waste and not eco friendly.

Everything is great except door wouldn’t lock. Fixed. Stayed for Hurricane Ian. No generator so paper given to remain in room if power outage. I did not bring flashlights or batteries..would be pitched black.

The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was great. The 2nd night we returned late and found that our room door was not closed all the way and unlocked. I called desk on the room phone and reported it. Luckily nothing seemed to be missing. On the 3rd night we returned just before midnight and our key cards would not work in the side door. We went around front and the inside door was locked. I looked in and couldn't see anyone at the desk. There were no signs saying push button or use intercom after hours. I didn't notice intercom on wall but my wife did. I had tapped on the glass. My wife spoke into intercom and a woman answered. I said our key cards were not working. The woman asked if we were staying there. If I have a key card and it doesn't work I would assume we're staying there. She let us in and said we were yelling. My wife talks loud but we were not yelling. I told her we were sorry and that we were tired as we had been at Daytona International Speedway all day because of a rain delay. My wife put her phone on the desk and the woman blamed us for the card failure saying they were next to the phone. I told her that there was no way my phone was next to the card as the card was in my wallet. She gave us new cards and we went to our room. The woman was rude. Other staff members had not been rude before or after this time. We got to the room and it had not been made up. It was the same as we left it. Dirty towels, unmade bed, etc.

This is a nice hotel if you happen to be doing business in Apopka, room is big and clean, breakfast quite good. My only criticism is that the pictures show a bicycle at the gym but when I arrived it was not there . Actually they are showing two pictures of two different gyms, neither of both is the one in this hotel !

It was ok! No hair in bathroom so that was a plus. We liked the gym. Bedsheet was stained, waited 2 hours for clean bedsheets wanted to sleep so went to get sheets myself, the staff went home and didn’t inform the other staff that we needed clean sheets. It was just ok.
