Had an emergency situation and needed a room for the night I haven’t been there since the remodeling and let’s just say I’m glad I did. Place was beautiful ,clean and was shocked by the dove products. Will definitely stay again. Thank you

Was supposed to stay for 4 nights, left after the third. Neighboring room had a dog that barked until 11:40, found a roach in the shower and no maid service the 3rd night.

The ubication of the property is good place and neiborhood.

Disappointed with service. Front desk staff wasn’t pleasant and the market had no stock of anything. Pretty bummed they had nothing at time of checkin. Pharmacy was closed and we couldn’t get anything at the market. As well having to wait for front desk staff both on check in and no one was at the desk at check out.

The shade isn’t darkening. Curtains would be nice to keep outside light out. Room smells like someone smoked in it. Carpet is stained. Adequate for the price, for 1 night, but nothing special.

Disgusting cigarette smoke
Our check in was smooth but once arriving to our room, the minute we opened the door we were blasted with the smell of cigarette smoke. The room was clearly clean and unused, but the smell was beyond overwhelming. The hotel has signs posted everywhere stating that it’s a “100% smoke free facility” mind you. We tried to call down to the front desk but the room phone wasn’t working. My husband and I hauled our luggage downstairs to request a change in rooms. The request wasn’t an issue and we received a new room. Sadly however, our new room ALSO smelled of cigarettes. Clearly someone from the cleaning staff is a smoker/possibly smoked in the rooms during cleaning. We were frustrated and didn’t feel like a third attempt at room swapping (the phone and clock were both dead in the new room too). We stayed the one night, and honestly as a pregnant woman, I should have changed rooms as my husband suggested. The next morning our pajamas reeked of cigarette smoke, and when we blew our noses there was literally soot from within our nostrils. We mentioned our concerns to the front desk when checking out, and all that they said was, “sorry. None of the staff smoke onsite.” Uh, hate to break it to you but they 100% do. Once in Boston and checked into our new hotel, the pajamas I had on from the Holiday Inn still 100% smelled like cigarette smoke. We had to stay here once before and it was a great experience, however we would NOT stay here again.

Nice trip
Friendly staff, good breakfast, easy access. Bed was a little too soft (hard to get on top of mattress). Carpet in our room was badly worn and a large stain in front of TV and the tub had a huge rust stain on the back edge. Other than that, the room was nicely updated and clean.

I checked in (at last minute around 12midnight) because I needed a good night's sleep. The room was prepaid. Toward the end of being checked in, the staff member alerted me to toward a notification taped to the counter, which explained that fire alarm testing would be conducted at 8am. So...around 8am, I was startled by fire alarm testing.
If the property had made such an alert apparent on their website, I would not have booked with them.

Someone kept calling my hotel room phone at 7:50am like 6/7 times in a row and hanging up. So I decided to just leave the phone off the hook and then someone started banging on my room door. I was with my two young children and husband. So we called front desk and they said they couldn’t check the cameras and will call us to let us know tomorrow. This was the single most terrifying thing that has happened. Awful.

From the first day the room was dirty and I had to ask to change the room, out of the 10 days that I was staying, only 2 days they cleaned the rooms and refilled cleaning products, and why did we go to the front to notify it. I hate the services for a good place, they should improve that. I am dissapointed.

My shower wouldn’t drain properly causing the water to overspill to the bathroom floor. This causes the bathroom to be slippery & unusable. The room was too expensive to have this be a problem. Wish I could have been compensated for this.

- The room that we got have cigarettes smell. The front desk moved us to other room.
- Their website and hotels.com say they provide a rollaway bed for a fee, but apparently they don't have it.
- There's no refillable soap in bathroom. We have 2 bottles of shampoo and 1 conditioner.
- The highlight is their breakfast menu. We love their variety of food
- Overall it's ok

Location was not appealing. Bathroom was funky. Front desk was not welcoming at all when we arrived.
Redemption points for the excellent service at breakfast! Staff was very pleasant, helpful, and attentive. Overall it was a B rating. Room seemed pretty clean bathroom not so much. Sub par bathroom and overall strange chemical odor in room, not what I’ve experienced at other holiday inn express stays.

The first room we got smelled heavily of smoke and there were some nasty hairs on the mattress. We were given another room, which was better. My cousin asked for an extra key at the front desk and was basically interrogated like a terrorist and was told she needed to provide ID before she could return upstairs. Her ID was in the room. She asked him to call our room to verify, which he did. It was just weird, though, because she was with me when checked in just 15 minutes earlier. Later, we went down for hot water for tea. There was none, and no one was at the front desk. There were people waiting to check in who said they been waiting for awhile. We gave up and decided it wasn’t too important. Overall, not a great experience, but could be worse

We tried three different rooms and they all smelled like someone had smoked in there. I don’t think they should advertise that they have non smoking rooms if they can’t back it up. Front desk staff were kind and professional but the management needs to invest in some serious changes to get their rooms in better condition.

The staff was nice enough but have different philosophies about how soon to fix a problem. The key system stopped working and we’re given another room for a few hours then in the wee hours of the morning got back into our room thankfully. Pool was small not sure what heated temperature should be but the pool area needing some picking up.

My room had a terrible smell of Marijuana. When did it become OK to smoke in hotel rooms. The previous guests that smoked in their should have been a charged an exorbitant fee for special cleaning and sanitizing. The PTAC unit needs to be steam cleaned.

Cleanliness personified. Travelling from out-of-state, we weren't sure what we would be walking into. A real pleasant surprise. Staff so helpful and Friendly.
Walls are a little thin when busy and water was cold since we overslept. But other than that, it was a good 2 nights. We definitely would recommend your hotel.

The property was vey clean and the breakfast options were plentiful.
The staff was indifference. This hotel you had to request housekeeping. I was stay there for 6 days attending a conference. I requested housekeeping everyday and the first 2 days., housekeeping did not come in. The trash and dirty towel were still there when I entered the room at the end of the day. Also at the pool area the housekeeping staff brought their kids to work and they were in the pool and running around the hotel.

The staff was great and it was clean. What I didn’t like us that the walls are paper thin and everything that happens in the next room, can be heard. Also, a billing error meant we had to be charged a second time because our Expedia booking payment hadn’t come through. While the poor employee, Colleen was pleasant and did her best to address the issue, it was terrible to have this happen to so many of the people checking in.

Overall pleasant stay at the property, room was clean and comfy. Hot Continental breakfast was delicious and well stocked. If I had to give some very minor criticism, there were only a couple things to mention: 1. the elevator permit as posted in the elevator while we were there, was expired in the prior year (perhaps the new one is just not posted) 2. When taking a shower, there was plenty of water pressure, however, it would have been nice if the temperature of the shower went several degrees hotter. Don't get me wrong it wasn't 'cold', it was 'warm,' but I wouldn't say it was 'hot'. Put it this way, steam on the bathroom mirror was not an issue 3. Perhaps that's why there is no fan in the bathroom, also would be a nice addition

Very dirty room. Not vacuumed. Food on counter tops. Garbage under the AC unit. Yuck. Adding to the unpleasant experience was no hot water.

Convenient location. We checked in and were given a room on the first floor - opened the door and was greeted by an overwhelming odor of cigarette smoke; returned to front desk requesting a different room; was told there were none available - then she said there had been a prior group & people were smoking in all their rooms! Then was told we could look at 4 other rooms (suddenly there are rooms available!!?) to see if they smelled as bad; this is a joke since the hotel is supposedly smoke-free (it reeked).
Front desk person was not friendly & not quick to accommodate. When we checked out, the same person did not even bother to ask how our stay was. Very disappointing and would not recommend.

Housekeeping doesn’t arrive until 9:30 am. There were no swim towels available throughout our stay. They were mostly out of all breakfast items when we went down. Not enough bath towels available for showers. Swimming pool was dirty.

The hotel didn’t seem too full from the parking yet it sounded like we were surrounded by people that were partying on a Tuesday. I heard loud music and loud voices throughout the night into the morning. I woke up at 2am, 4am and 6am bc of loud voices and noise. When I got into bed there was make up on my sheets. There were only two towels for two people. Went to the pool, it was dirty with hair in it, didn’t seem clean. The pool towels were tiny, almost child size and not soft. I will not be staying here again.

Noisy family
We had a room on the first floor and there was a noisy family nearby. It seemed like they were playing in the hallway. The man yelled at the kids, the man yelled at the woman, the woman yelled at the man, the woman yelled at the kids, and the kids yelled at each other. At 10:00p I called the front desk 4 times before it was answered, and told them about the noise. It did not quiet down for another hour or so. It began again at 7:00a.

Everything was great up to the last day. On the last day there was only cereal or bread as your breakfast choice. If you wanted Milk for the cereal you had a little over gallon of milk to handle all who were going to have breakfast. For the amount of money I had to pay, I expected better.
